- 0:20Speaker 1: you know, Patreon, Apple Subscription supercast. It's on the ten
- 0:23Speaker 1: dollars level. I did the first six episodes with Keisha
- 0:26Speaker 1: and they are out right now over on the ten
- 0:28Speaker 1: dollars level. But this is a bonus for you. This
- 0:31Speaker 1: is us covering episode one of Love is Blind Season ten.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Oh Ohio. We're really liking it, you guys. So if
- 0:38Speaker 1: you like this, head on over to Pink Shade Prime
- 0:41Speaker 1: and subscribe, and the link is in the show notes.
- 0:44Speaker 1: All right, guys, that's going to be our opening song.
- 0:46Speaker 1: It's a song called Ohio by the Black Keys, and
- 0:50Speaker 1: I love the Black Keys. Yeah, and straight to the point,
- 0:54Speaker 1: right to the point. And that's so this is Love
- 0:57Speaker 1: is Blind. Ohio. We have to have an Ohio theme song.
- 1:01Speaker 1: And there is a really good Crosby Sales Nash and
- 1:03Speaker 1: Young song about Ohio, but it's talking about people being dead.
- 1:07Speaker 1: And then there was another one that was also seemed
- 1:10Speaker 1: to be about addiction and suicide. So we said, well,
- 1:15Speaker 1: I mean I was almost dead watching the first two episodes,
- 1:19Speaker 1: so I.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Mean, oh my god, now to me, to me fair, Yeah,
- 1:28Speaker 2: we had dress just driven home from like a six.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Hour drive home.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Yeah, and I.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Was exhausted, and I watched it because you know, you
- 1:36Speaker 2: can't watch that ship anywhere, the screeners anywhere else. It's
- 1:39Speaker 2: like you're certified, yeah place. So I'm like, okay, I'll
- 1:44Speaker 2: watch them when I get home. Oh yeah, God, I
- 1:47Speaker 2: was like, come on people.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Uh yeah, it is a little bit of I had
- 1:54Speaker 1: to look at my notes and I still haven't labeled
- 1:56Speaker 1: as Love as Blind Denver. No, I gotta change it
- 1:58Speaker 1: to oh hi, oh, I gotta say, because I've watched
- 2:04Speaker 1: all of it, and then I rewatched one and two
- 2:07Speaker 1: to take the notes, and I'm very glad I did
- 2:09Speaker 1: it that way. Normally I would never waste that much
- 2:11Speaker 1: time because some things are sticking out to me that
- 2:15Speaker 1: come into play later, and it's like, okay, I need
- 2:18Speaker 1: to like really lean into these things. Now, got you? Okay,
- 2:23Speaker 1: So we're gonna do Love is Blind? Ohio, Season ten,
- 2:27Speaker 1: episodes one and two. Now, why didn't I write down
- 2:32Speaker 1: the name of the first episode? Oh?
- 2:36Speaker 2: And I used to say something, Yeah, I've heard I've
- 2:41Speaker 2: heard everyone, I've heard you. I posted a picture of
- 2:44Speaker 2: myself without banks and incredible, and the bans are saying people,
- 2:50Speaker 2: I've got all your messages about hey, you don't need
- 2:55Speaker 2: the banks. I didn't realize the bass covering up half
- 2:57Speaker 2: my face until I saw that picture.
- 3:00Speaker 3: It was like, damn, they really do cover up a lot.
- 3:03Speaker 3: And everyone's like.
- 3:04Speaker 2: One of the person goes, I didn't know who you were,
- 3:07Speaker 2: and I'm like, come on, she goes, no, I didn't
- 3:09Speaker 2: know who you're.
- 3:11Speaker 3: The veins are staying. They are part of my brand.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Now I'll pop out every now and then without a bank.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Okay, but the bangs ain't going nowhere.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Okay, but love you all.
- 3:23Speaker 3: I love you all.
- 3:24Speaker 1: And her bangs are very long, but that is your look,
- 3:27Speaker 1: very like thick bang. Yeah, and they yeah great, but
- 3:31Speaker 1: sometimes they do literally go midto your iris of your eye.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Okay, so that is so funny. My mom makes fun
- 3:38Speaker 3: of me.
- 3:39Speaker 2: She's like, this bitch right here because I got them
- 3:41Speaker 2: done and they weren't like thick and long like I
- 3:44Speaker 2: like them.
- 3:44Speaker 3: So I ran back to my stylas and my mom's
- 3:47Speaker 3: on the phone and brother with broth. She's like, you
- 3:49Speaker 3: don't understand that bitch was her.
- 3:51Speaker 1: She wants them in her eyeballs, and I'm like, I
- 3:54Speaker 1: know I want them blended with my lashes.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Yes, but I didn't. Okay, but I didn't realize they
- 4:00Speaker 3: covered up had my face. I really did it. I
- 4:02Speaker 3: did it.
- 4:03Speaker 1: I did it well. When you posted the pictures in
- 4:06Speaker 1: New Orleans and you had the little bray on and
- 4:08Speaker 1: your back, it did look great. But you're lucky that
- 4:11Speaker 1: you're able to do both, right, because I can't. I
- 4:14Speaker 1: can't do both. I can't have no banks can no.
- 4:17Speaker 1: I can't. You can or.
- 4:19Speaker 3: You're made so side we still see all your face.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Well, that's true. But when I have no bangs, I
- 4:24Speaker 1: look like a different person. It's not cute.
- 4:27Speaker 3: I don't know if I've ever seen you without.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Bang because I don't because I've had them since I
- 4:33Speaker 1: was able, and since the minute I was able to
- 4:35Speaker 1: request my own haircut. That's what I've had, bangs that
- 4:38Speaker 1: one never not have. There's just something about bangs.
- 4:43Speaker 3: Yeah, bangs, I do too.
- 4:46Speaker 1: But I think you're lucky that you have a choice.
- 4:47Speaker 1: But I will say that when you were posting the
- 4:50Speaker 1: pictures of yourself and the brat, all I can think
- 4:52Speaker 1: about was she's going to be so cute. On the Traders.
- 4:55Speaker 1: She's got that outfit.
- 5:00Speaker 3: That's gearing up. You're gearing up.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Well. I don't have the title of episode one. I
- 5:08Speaker 1: do have the title of episode two when we get there,
- 5:10Speaker 1: but I didn't write it down.
- 5:11Speaker 3: I probably didn't even have a title for episode one.
- 5:13Speaker 1: It probably is oh hi, because they're all chanting, oh
- 5:17Speaker 1: h I, oh oh him.
- 5:20Speaker 3: Now you know it hit me thirty five minutes to
- 5:21Speaker 3: figure out what the hell they were? What what hio? What?
- 5:25Speaker 3: I kept missing the first oh, I was like, what
- 5:28Speaker 3: is hio?
- 5:29Speaker 1: Like?
- 5:29Speaker 2: What?
- 5:29Speaker 3: And then I finally got my well.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Ingrid sent me our background here, which she loves to
- 5:35Speaker 1: do for Love is Blind, and she sent me the
- 5:37Speaker 1: skyline of Cleveland, Columbus unclear, but she sent it to me,
- 5:43Speaker 1: and I said, it's just the whole state. It's just
- 5:46Speaker 1: the whole state. She was the wind keeping this because
- 5:48Speaker 1: I like it.
- 5:48Speaker 3: I was like, okay, and happy belated birthday to produce.
- 5:52Speaker 2: To Ingrid, she is the hardest working woman in every
- 5:55Speaker 2: kind of business because she knows how to do everything.
- 6:00Speaker 1: He does know how to do everything. And I will
- 6:02Speaker 1: tell you that I'm going in a couple of weeks
- 6:05Speaker 1: to New York to attend the Ambies with Matt and
- 6:09Speaker 1: Jake because they're nominated. I'm just going to like hold
- 6:11Speaker 1: the purses and be the picture taker and just try
- 6:13Speaker 1: to schmooze. And anyway, I've got tickets to watch What
- 6:18Speaker 1: Happens Live one night, and so I was saying to
- 6:22Speaker 1: Ingrid and go, hey, why don't you just come up
- 6:23Speaker 1: to New York and go with me? Because Matt doesn't
- 6:25Speaker 1: think he can go, and she can't do it because
- 6:28Speaker 1: she's too busy working a second gig with the watch
- 6:31Speaker 1: What Crappens guys. And I said, oh whoa, I said,
- 6:36Speaker 1: excuse me, missy, hold on, wait a minute. Is she
- 6:40Speaker 1: allowed to do that for her contract? Well, there is
- 6:43Speaker 1: no contracts, and that's where you went wrong.
- 6:47Speaker 3: But you still have a contract on all of us.
- 6:49Speaker 2: No.
- 6:50Speaker 1: There Their producer, Christina works for Pink Shade when Ingrid
- 6:55Speaker 1: is out of town. So so we trade off because
- 6:58Speaker 1: we love Christina and we Ingrid and we all help
- 7:01Speaker 1: each other. But I said, okay, so you can't come
- 7:03Speaker 1: to New York, your favorite place in the world, to
- 7:05Speaker 1: go to watch What Happens to Live, your favorite show,
- 7:07Speaker 1: because you're working on Crappins. And she said, that's correct.
- 7:11Speaker 1: So my friend Mary.
- 7:14Speaker 3: Sometimes with Ingrid.
- 7:15Speaker 2: You gotta find that bitch because she could be anywhere
- 7:18Speaker 2: in the world, like truly.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Now, listen, when we're recording this a few days before
- 7:25Speaker 1: it comes out on the eleventh, Ingrid has had COVID
- 7:27Speaker 1: and flu. So let's be nice. Ah, she's been double sick. Yeah,
- 7:31Speaker 1: double sick.
- 7:32Speaker 3: But I feel like she's in there in our house
- 7:35Speaker 3: coming up with a full cure for both. She's Ingrid.
- 7:39Speaker 1: She probably is. She probably is. She said my extendary questions, like,
- 7:43Speaker 1: I know you're sick, but oh now, hopefully, hopefully she's
- 7:48Speaker 1: better by the time this comes out. All right, So
- 7:51Speaker 1: let's start. So nick Leche is from Ohio, unclear what town.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Somebody who's a big fan of ninety eight degrees probably knows.
- 7:59Speaker 3: I was, and I don't remember.
- 8:01Speaker 2: I was a huge ninety eight degrees really, and from
- 8:06Speaker 2: the very first single, The Invisible.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Man, Oh Fan, I only know sort of whatever their
- 8:12Speaker 1: major hits were, that was a major hit. Oh okay, okay,
- 8:19Speaker 1: did you have to can you sing it to me?
- 8:21Speaker 1: Sing it to me?
- 8:22Speaker 3: The Invisible Man. God, it's been on forerver since I've
- 8:26Speaker 3: heard that song. It was a hit.
- 8:30Speaker 1: We got to play that one time for Niit Okay, okay, okay, okay,
- 8:34Speaker 1: that's money because I did have some other songs I
- 8:37Speaker 1: was going to play here, but then I was like,
- 8:38Speaker 1: ran out of time. Okay. So he's from Ohio and
- 8:43Speaker 1: they talk about it now, she Vanessa is in a
- 8:46Speaker 1: long leopard print dress and a clothes in a leather
- 8:49Speaker 1: jacket as always. But what do you think about it?
- 8:52Speaker 1: She was in that dress and she had her boobs
- 8:54Speaker 1: out and she didn't have on tons of makeup. I
- 8:56Speaker 1: thought she looked really good.
- 8:57Speaker 3: I thought she looked great. If I were zero, I'll
- 9:01Speaker 3: ask for that dress. It looks really good.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Still don't understand the purpose of them being there. But
- 9:07Speaker 1: she nine no miss zero never. We won't see him
- 9:12Speaker 1: again until seven more episodes. So okay, the pads are open?
- 9:17Speaker 1: Is love truly blind? All right? Now? The first person
- 9:21Speaker 1: we meet is Jordan's here's Jordan. We that is Jordan
- 9:25Speaker 1: to the stage. Here, Jordan says, oh boy, I'm easy
- 9:31Speaker 1: to get along with him. The life of the party.
- 9:32Speaker 1: He's a big he's a big, burly dude.
- 9:36Speaker 2: You just described every Cold Case episode at the beginning,
- 9:41Speaker 2: every episode where someone is killed.
- 9:43Speaker 3: He was the life of the party.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Big guy, big slidell, big energy, big beard. That's our
- 9:51Speaker 2: that's Jordan, that's we just we start. We just started
- 9:54Speaker 2: a crime show right there.
- 9:56Speaker 3: Thanks.
- 9:57Speaker 1: I like Jordan's I and he's like, he goes. You know,
- 10:01Speaker 1: people think I'm a big oath, but I'm really into
- 10:04Speaker 1: art and reading and cooking. So Jordan meets with Amber.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Now I have just started calling her Amber with the hair,
- 10:15Speaker 1: because with the voice, because Amber's voice reminds me of
- 10:19Speaker 1: somebody who I'm never going to be able to figure out. Okay,
- 10:23Speaker 1: And she has got this boufont and she has it.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Even when they go to Mexico, she still has Oh no, how.
- 10:30Speaker 3: Does she manage that? And how does she manage that?
- 10:32Speaker 3: In Mexico?
- 10:34Speaker 1: She's got a rock and bod fake mobies. She's a
- 10:38Speaker 1: nurse practitioner, which means she makes bank because she's almost
- 10:40Speaker 1: a doctor.
- 10:42Speaker 3: She is.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Now when they show her on the screen, they say
- 10:46Speaker 1: thirty three, but this little thing says thirty four. I'm
- 10:50Speaker 1: just gonna say it. She looks forty four to me.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Okay, so I'm glad you said it, because to me,
- 10:58Speaker 2: all of these women with an exception of the one
- 11:01Speaker 2: Asian person. You've got a group of black girls, you
- 11:04Speaker 2: got a.
- 11:04Speaker 3: Group of blondes. They all look alike to me.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I mean lots of bultos going on, Like
- 11:12Speaker 1: there's just they all look older than what they are.
- 11:15Speaker 3: Yes, it was, it was, It was a lot.
- 11:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna keep putting them on the screen because I
- 11:20Speaker 1: too was getting confused. Yeah, even though I've already watched it.
- 11:23Speaker 1: So Amber will just remember Amber with the hair because
- 11:26Speaker 1: she has a kid, right, she's got the seven year old. Yes, okay, okay,
- 11:32Speaker 1: so that is Amber and this this is that's Jordan. Okay, yes, okaykay.
- 11:40Speaker 1: So Amber and Jordan are talking. They're they're saying they're
- 11:43Speaker 1: both foodies.
- 11:44Speaker 3: You know.
- 11:44Speaker 1: What he says is like, people think I'm a big oath,
- 11:46Speaker 1: but I'm really into art and reading and cooking. And
- 11:49Speaker 1: he makes a joke about because look at me, I'm
- 11:51Speaker 1: a big guy. But I kind of hate when the
- 11:53Speaker 1: people that are like big people are like, but obviously
- 11:56Speaker 1: I like to eat, and I'm like, don't negate yourself.
- 11:59Speaker 1: You're more than that.
- 12:01Speaker 2: We feel like we have to because in our heads
- 12:05Speaker 2: we're thinking that the person that we're talking to is
- 12:07Speaker 2: gonna be like, duh, of course you're a foodie because
- 12:09Speaker 2: you're big, right. It's just one of those tricks of
- 12:14Speaker 2: the mind. You just assume the person is like, of
- 12:17Speaker 2: course you like food, look at you.
- 12:19Speaker 3: But half to some people are not even thinking that.
- 12:21Speaker 3: I wasn't even thinking here anything.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Yeah, I wasn't even thinking like, whoa, he's a big dude,
- 12:26Speaker 1: but I did just like it's kind of teddy bear personality.
- 12:29Speaker 1: I do. Mm.
- 12:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:30Speaker 1: So they meet. Jordan meets with the amber with the hair.
- 12:33Speaker 1: She's a nurse practitioner, and they're saying they're both foodies.
- 12:36Speaker 1: She says she has She says right away she has
- 12:38Speaker 1: a seven year old daughter named Emma, Like she doesn't
- 12:40Speaker 1: code sugarcoat it. And we're talking to her. She's like,
- 12:45Speaker 1: I'm not gonna firse impressions, like people think I'm like
- 12:47Speaker 1: a country bumpkin. And even though I have a daughter,
- 12:50Speaker 1: I do want to know, like do you want a family?
- 12:54Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 12:55Speaker 2: She thinks she's real funny, like she amuses herself.
- 12:59Speaker 3: And that voice needs to come with the disclaimer and
- 13:02Speaker 3: what is it it sounds?
- 13:04Speaker 1: Somebody tell us it sounds just like it does, but
- 13:09Speaker 1: I can't.
- 13:09Speaker 3: It's it's loud.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Then it almost sounds like she's got a little something
- 13:13Speaker 2: in her throat. It's hard to describe, but it's pretty
- 13:18Speaker 2: fucking annoying.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Because later he says he likes her. Boy, She's like really,
- 13:23Speaker 1: I was like.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Oh, she's like she she because she had never heard
- 13:25Speaker 2: anyone say that before.
- 13:28Speaker 1: So that's your soulmate, Yeah, yes, and she goes, I mean,
- 13:32Speaker 1: I am funny, but I'm also settled down. I want
- 13:34Speaker 1: somebody to join me and my comfy, asked bad Ha,
- 13:38Speaker 1: So I was like, okay, girl, all right, all right, okay.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Jordan and Amber they they he's big ofie guy. She's
- 13:45Speaker 1: Amber with the hair with his seven year old okay,
- 13:47Speaker 1: and they are both foodies. They both want everyone to
- 13:50Speaker 1: know they are foodies.
- 13:52Speaker 3: Why is that a thing? Now? Why do people want
- 13:54Speaker 3: people to know that they are a foodie? Is that?
- 13:56Speaker 2: Like?
- 13:57Speaker 3: What the is that for? Clout?
- 13:59Speaker 1: I guess so because I am not a foodie. I'm
- 14:03Speaker 1: what you call a picky eater. So I don't care
- 14:07Speaker 1: if people I.
- 14:08Speaker 3: Don't care if what any like.
- 14:10Speaker 1: I love a link cuisine and I could give two
- 14:12Speaker 1: shits if anyone thinks that's disgusting.
- 14:15Speaker 3: And I don't want to be.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Be judged if I don't like olives. I don't like
- 14:18Speaker 1: when people are like, you don't like olives? What's wrong
- 14:21Speaker 1: with you don't like? Okay, I did that to you,
- 14:23Speaker 1: and I know Chris Farrow has probably done that to.
- 14:26Speaker 3: You as well.
- 14:26Speaker 1: And you know you and I also had the fight
- 14:28Speaker 1: about me. Yeah, so good. I hate I'm much run.
- 14:33Speaker 1: But you know, if I'm at dinner and I go, oh,
- 14:35Speaker 1: I'd love to have da da da da, but no mushrooms.
- 14:37Speaker 1: I don't want everybody at the table to be like,
- 14:39Speaker 1: what are you like seven years old, You're like, well,
- 14:42Speaker 1: here's the thing.
- 14:43Speaker 3: Most people don't like mushrooms, so I think you're okay. Okay.
- 14:47Speaker 1: My husband doesn't like mushrooms either, so that's good.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Oh, that's perfect.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Okay, now we meet. The minute I saw this guy,
- 14:53Speaker 1: he came on my screen, I screenshot my phone, sent
- 14:56Speaker 1: it to Matt maher and said, how are you doing?
- 14:58Speaker 1: How you doing? After me vic I knew it was
- 15:02Speaker 1: a black guy because I know Matt Moore loves the chocolate.
- 15:05Speaker 3: He loves him chocolate.
- 15:07Speaker 1: I think he's okay, I think he's real cute. Really,
- 15:12Speaker 1: I was a little hot for Vic really, Yeah, I
- 15:16Speaker 1: don't know. Maybe because he's like a professor.
- 15:20Speaker 3: That affects me.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm dying to know where he's a professor, though,
- 15:24Speaker 1: I'm dying to know where. And I let me look
- 15:27Speaker 1: at my list that Amy Harcher has sent me of
- 15:30Speaker 1: information she has found. She says, Vic unclear, that's all
- 15:34Speaker 1: she put got you. He's a professor somewhere. I'm kind
- 15:38Speaker 1: of dying to nowhere. So if anybody knows, let me know.
- 15:40Speaker 1: And the only reason I care is because Mary's daughter
- 15:43Speaker 1: goes to Dennison, which is in Ohio, and I'm always like,
- 15:46Speaker 1: what if he's one of her professors?
- 15:48Speaker 3: Well, you know, professors don't always make very good money.
- 15:52Speaker 1: That's true, And he could be at a community college
- 15:55Speaker 1: or he could be at University of Ohio.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Like, we don't know, right, there's a big difference in salary.
- 16:01Speaker 1: If he's at a community college, he's teaching at more
- 16:04Speaker 1: than one community college can make up the difference.
- 16:06Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yes, we need to know Vic.
- 16:09Speaker 1: So I say Vica's hot. He says he wants to
- 16:11Speaker 1: be married. He's been searching. He's originally from Brooklyn, but
- 16:16Speaker 1: he came to Columbus Now he meets with I'm sorry,
- 16:20Speaker 1: I don't have these people in order, so I'm having
- 16:22Speaker 1: to like scroll through my list here as we're talking
- 16:24Speaker 1: about them. He meets he meets Christina. Now this is
- 16:27Speaker 1: another one of these, So sorry, Christine. White girls that
- 16:31Speaker 1: look alike.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Literally, you could keep putting up the same picture and
- 16:37Speaker 2: I wouldn't know the difference because they all the bulltox was.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Maybe that's what it is in their early thirties. I'm like, why,
- 16:47Speaker 1: she's only thirty one. So Vica's thirty three, Christina's thirty.
- 16:50Speaker 1: She's a speech language pathologist, she said, And she says,
- 16:57Speaker 1: you know, I'm a strong Christian. They talk about their mom's, like,
- 17:00Speaker 1: how does your mom feel about you doing this project?
- 17:03Speaker 1: And he says, oh, my mom trusts my judgment, and
- 17:05Speaker 1: she says mine too. She says she has an idea
- 17:10Speaker 1: in her mind that she wants to be the super
- 17:12Speaker 1: Bowl house. She wants to have all the kids at
- 17:14Speaker 1: her house. That's where the kids go to hang out,
- 17:17Speaker 1: and that's what she wants. So okay, all right, she's
- 17:20Speaker 1: not asking for a lot. She just wants to be
- 17:23Speaker 1: the cool mom. And I'm okay with that. Yeah, she
- 17:25Speaker 1: just wants a simple life. So now we meet Jessica. Okay,
- 17:32Speaker 1: I mean, we don't like the dress, but I did
- 17:35Speaker 1: like her. Okay, but we didn't see a lot of
- 17:37Speaker 1: her in the first two episodes. Is there more of
- 17:40Speaker 1: her to come No, yes, there's more of her to
- 17:43Speaker 1: come back.
- 17:43Speaker 3: Okay, Okay.
- 17:44Speaker 1: So she is a internal medicine doctor specializing in infectious diseases,
- 17:49Speaker 1: which means, oh wow, during COVID she was a busy.
- 17:52Speaker 1: She was busy, Yeah, she says. When people meet her
- 17:56Speaker 1: in person, they have automatic assumptions, which is natural. She's
- 18:00Speaker 1: you know, natural to judge a book by their cover.
- 18:02Speaker 1: She's happy that she's going to get to meet people
- 18:05Speaker 1: in this based on their heart and soul. She meets
- 18:09Speaker 1: a guy named Chris. Let me find Chris. We're just
- 18:12Speaker 1: going to do this everybody, But you know what there
- 18:15Speaker 1: is now.
- 18:16Speaker 3: That we're looking A lot of these guys are looking
- 18:18Speaker 3: like as well.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Oh yeah, they're all into the half of the right.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, now Chris, Chris, I don't like it. He
- 18:28Speaker 1: has a beard, but she can really mostly see the stash.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Chris is thirty two and software sales. They talk about pets.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Jessica the doctor tells us she has two English bulldogs
- 18:41Speaker 1: and he's and she's like, you know, a face only
- 18:43Speaker 1: a mother could love and get it. He says he
- 18:45Speaker 1: has a cat named Chiloupah.
- 18:48Speaker 3: He's a winner.
- 18:49Speaker 1: I loved it.
- 18:50Speaker 3: I thought that.
- 18:50Speaker 1: I was like, oh, he's just going to love that.
- 18:52Speaker 3: He named it.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Yeah. She talks about how she was on the front
- 18:56Speaker 1: lines during COVID. She planes and I'd like to get
- 19:02Speaker 1: back to Jessica just so we can just like see
- 19:04Speaker 1: who we're talking about here.
- 19:05Speaker 3: And I don't hate her dress, can I just?
- 19:09Speaker 1: I kind of do.
- 19:10Speaker 3: I can't hate it.
- 19:11Speaker 2: I'm not surprised that you hate it. You you know,
- 19:14Speaker 2: I like to show some shoulders.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Uh huh.
- 19:18Speaker 2: I'm not at the Tiffany level of cold shoulders. No,
- 19:21Speaker 2: I like it. It's something weird in the waist.
- 19:26Speaker 1: It's too much going on. It's that half sleeve plus
- 19:29Speaker 1: the corset plus the buttons plus the cut in. It's like,
- 19:33Speaker 1: take away two of these elements and it would have
- 19:34Speaker 1: been better to.
- 19:35Speaker 3: Me and then pull your hair back a little bit too.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Uh huh.
- 19:38Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a I don't hate it.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Uh. As far as what Amy has let us know
- 19:45Speaker 1: about these contestas because she's because she's looked at who
- 19:48Speaker 1: they follow on social media. This is Amy Archer's new thing,
- 19:51Speaker 1: she says, for for Jessica the Doctor, she is one
- 19:55Speaker 1: of us. Good girl, she says. She follows all good posts, podcasting,
- 20:00Speaker 1: good people, okay, good, great to know, great to know.
- 20:04Speaker 1: Jessica says she's divorced. It happened during COVID because her
- 20:07Speaker 1: husband was not supportive. She said she would come home
- 20:10Speaker 1: just depleted from dealing with people literally dying all day
- 20:14Speaker 1: long of COVID when they didn't know what it was,
- 20:17Speaker 1: and her husband was not there to be a support
- 20:20Speaker 1: system for her. She said her idea was that he
- 20:22Speaker 1: would be the support system for and he was not.
- 20:24Speaker 1: She says, he's a good person, but we just had
- 20:27Speaker 1: different ideas of what marriage is. And I right now
- 20:31Speaker 1: have such a fun and full life and I want
- 20:33Speaker 1: to be able to share it with somebody, And he goes, yes,
- 20:37Speaker 1: that's what I want, Like a best friend. He explains
- 20:40Speaker 1: he was in a black Hawk unit in Kuwait for
- 20:43Speaker 1: nine months flying those helicopters. Guys. Yeah, and I thought,
- 20:48Speaker 1: I think that's kind of hot. And the talking head
- 20:52Speaker 1: he tells us that is this him? Yes, he tells
- 20:56Speaker 1: us that modern day dating is all about is somebody hot,
- 21:01Speaker 1: is somebody not hot? And he goes, I'm never gonna
- 21:03Speaker 1: just put I'm six feet tall just to meet someone.
- 21:07Speaker 3: I mean, it would help you out.
- 21:09Speaker 1: So I cause I think he's like he says later,
- 21:11Speaker 1: he's like five to nine and a half or something.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Okay, short king. Oh wait, are we allowed to say that?
- 21:17Speaker 2: Because sometimes we get in trouble.
- 21:18Speaker 1: I don't think I think it's okay to say short king.
- 21:20Speaker 3: No, no, no, no no. We got almost cussed out
- 21:22Speaker 3: one time.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Okay, well we're still going to say it.
- 21:25Speaker 3: Okay, good, Okay. I think if he's he's a boss.
- 21:28Speaker 1: I think if he's I think if he's under five
- 21:31Speaker 1: to nine, we're calling him short kink. If he's five
- 21:33Speaker 1: nine and above, all right, But we don't know. I
- 21:36Speaker 1: can't remember. If he says he's five to ten, I
- 21:38Speaker 1: can't remember. But he does talk about it later. But
- 21:41Speaker 1: by the way, it doesn't matter. He's cute, he's accomplished,
- 21:44Speaker 1: he's got a decent job. His Instagram is private, so
- 21:49Speaker 1: we don't know who he follows. Of course, he's the archer.
- 21:52Speaker 1: Darn it. Maybe send him a request, right, now so
- 21:55Speaker 1: we can know if we love him.
- 21:57Speaker 3: Or hate him.
- 21:57Speaker 1: I do wonder some of these people that are private
- 22:00Speaker 1: if they're going to have to make it not private
- 22:02Speaker 1: when the show airs.
- 22:03Speaker 3: I think so, I think they have to.
- 22:05Speaker 1: I think they have to.
- 22:06Speaker 3: They're busy cleaning it all up right.
- 22:08Speaker 1: Now, Yeah, they're all busy cleaning it up. Okay, Now
- 22:11Speaker 1: we're going to meet a girl named Brianna. She reminds
- 22:18Speaker 1: me a lot of Sarah from Minnesota, the activist warrior.
- 22:26Speaker 2: So she reminded me of who is the girl with
- 22:30Speaker 2: a stupid nickname Sparkle something.
- 22:32Speaker 1: Sparkle Meghan because she's called Breezy and other things that
- 22:37Speaker 1: she just reminded me of her. I you know how
- 22:39Speaker 1: much I couldn't fucking stand Sparkle Meghan. You didn't love
- 22:42Speaker 1: Sparkle Megan. Well, this is Brianna. Sometimes they call her Brie,
- 22:46Speaker 1: but she says her friends call her Breezy, and that
- 22:48Speaker 1: automatically makes me hate her.
- 22:51Speaker 3: I agree.
- 22:52Speaker 1: I think my friends call me breezy. No, girl, don't
- 22:55Speaker 1: mean with that. Don't tell people that.
- 22:59Speaker 3: I don't feel like that to me.
- 23:01Speaker 2: When you have to lead with that, you're already saying
- 23:04Speaker 2: there's not much else to me, and for this, please
- 23:08Speaker 2: love me because I have a cool nickname.
- 23:10Speaker 1: And do you see here at the bottom of the
- 23:12Speaker 1: screen you can see her instant name is Breezy maken Easy.
- 23:16Speaker 3: And that is vommtrocious right there.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Also not cute. I do like her dress, though I
- 23:22Speaker 1: don't have the bottom dress, but the dress is good,
- 23:25Speaker 1: she says. My friends call me Breezy, and he's he Chris.
- 23:30Speaker 1: We're open her back at Chris the short King, he says.
- 23:34Speaker 1: He goes, oh wow, I do jiu jitsu, I do
- 23:38Speaker 1: iron man, I do triathlons. Okay, Chris, now you're doing
- 23:40Speaker 1: too much.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Okay.
- 23:42Speaker 2: I hope he's not one of those guys who follows
- 23:45Speaker 2: those crazy masculine podcasts.
- 23:48Speaker 1: I don't think so. I don't think so. I can't.
- 23:52Speaker 1: I don't know he was.
- 23:54Speaker 2: He was a black Hawk, and he's talking about I
- 23:58Speaker 2: do this, I do this, and there are all lots
- 23:59Speaker 2: of things.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Yeah, well worried. He does an ice plunge every morning,
- 24:05Speaker 1: and he thinks, so, this is the hardest part of
- 24:07Speaker 1: my day. I'm going forward. I love to challenge myself,
- 24:10Speaker 1: and she goes, oh my god, I also love to
- 24:12Speaker 1: challenge myself. I love to do hard shit. She used
- 24:15Speaker 1: to be a competitive cheerleader, She was a pitcher in
- 24:18Speaker 1: softball and the talking head. She says love is deeper
- 24:23Speaker 1: than a physical attraction. And my friends and I joke
- 24:26Speaker 1: like we've given a lot of medium ugly guys some chances.
- 24:30Speaker 1: She was like, I mean, I know that sounds me,
- 24:32Speaker 1: but like, why did you break my heart? You're only
- 24:34Speaker 1: medium ugly?
- 24:35Speaker 3: I mean, I don't hate her for that.
- 24:37Speaker 1: I was like, I agree. I was like, that's kind of.
- 24:39Speaker 2: I agree too, Like, I mean sometimes we look back
- 24:43Speaker 2: and we're like, bab I'm real cute, and I let
- 24:45Speaker 2: that motherfucker who looks like he eats glue for breakfast
- 24:48Speaker 2: break my heart.
- 24:49Speaker 1: Yeah, like come on, I I.
- 24:52Speaker 3: That made me like her a little bit. That gave
- 24:53Speaker 3: her a few extra points.
- 24:55Speaker 1: I used to take a guy and he was a
- 24:57Speaker 1: pumpkin farmer and.
- 24:59Speaker 3: Oh wow, okay, you don't hear about that every day.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Oh my friends are like really really And I was like,
- 25:05Speaker 1: he's so nice, or like, he's not even nice to
- 25:07Speaker 1: you and he's a pumpkin farmer. This man is not
- 25:10Speaker 1: giving you the life that you want, okay.
- 25:14Speaker 3: And you know what, they were right, that is so funny.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Shout out Philip. Okay, So, Brianna Breezy meets Connor. Connor
- 25:25Speaker 1: is thirty one and an account manager. I just feel
- 25:30Speaker 1: like he has childbearing hips. Mmmmm, I could say where
- 25:38Speaker 1: you would think that this picture doesn't do a lot.
- 25:40Speaker 1: But again, all these guys are looking alike, so we're
- 25:43Speaker 1: gonna have to be really jam them as we go.
- 25:47Speaker 1: But bree meets Connor and says, you know, my friends
- 25:50Speaker 1: call me Breezy, and he goes, oh really, he goes,
- 25:53Speaker 1: my friends call me spies. Is my last name looks
- 25:56Speaker 1: like Spies but it's Spees And they're like Breeze and
- 25:59Speaker 1: spears a Breezy Speasy.
- 26:03Speaker 3: I hate them already. Yeah I don't.
- 26:05Speaker 1: Yeah. She went to Michigan and he's like, oh my god,
- 26:08Speaker 1: that's the hottest thing I've heard all day. It's hot
- 26:11Speaker 1: and Okay. For some reason, they talk about how they
- 26:14Speaker 1: love the song mister Brightside coming out on my Cage,
- 26:18Speaker 1: and I'm doling just fine.
- 26:19Speaker 2: They start, can I just can I just say that
- 26:22Speaker 2: is the whitest thing that I've hero heard throughout both
- 26:25Speaker 2: the episodes. Now greeted mister Brightside is on my playlist,
- 26:31Speaker 2: but for them to like, damn near have an orgasm
- 26:36Speaker 2: over the fact that they both like mister Brightside.
- 26:41Speaker 3: I was like, what the fuck is going on here?
- 26:44Speaker 1: Right? You're right, you're absolutely It didn't occur to me
- 26:47Speaker 1: because I'm also maybe one of the whitest people you know.
- 26:50Speaker 1: But you're right. You surprise me every night now and
- 26:54Speaker 1: then I'm like, she got a little black and there's
- 26:56Speaker 1: somewhere somewhere deep down way in the back way, a
- 27:01Speaker 1: little bit black girl in her Oh yeah, that was
- 27:03Speaker 1: some white shit right there, Like for real. He said,
- 27:07Speaker 1: he's not a Michigan grad, but he hates Ohio State.
- 27:10Speaker 1: So now we're doing like college football. He went to
- 27:13Speaker 1: University of Ohio. He's from Cleveland, but his dad grew
- 27:16Speaker 1: up in Minneapolis. She also lived briefly in Minneapolis. And
- 27:21Speaker 1: she's saying, you know, I'm super active. As we just
- 27:24Speaker 1: heard her telling the other guy. She says she was
- 27:27Speaker 1: on a broom ball league.
- 27:31Speaker 3: I've never heard.
- 27:32Speaker 2: Is that like something from Harry sound like something from
- 27:34Speaker 2: Harry Potter The Wizarding World.
- 27:36Speaker 1: I was thinking it was like Harry Potter, but then
- 27:38Speaker 1: I was thinking, maybe it's like curling, where you like
- 27:41Speaker 1: I think it is like you with a room. She
- 27:44Speaker 1: loves to ski, he loves to ski. Keisha, they well
- 27:48Speaker 1: love to ski. Oh they're vibing, they're joking. Let's get married,
- 27:51Speaker 1: and he goes, I've given you so many starships, star
- 27:53Speaker 1: stars wars. Okay, they are two vanilla ice cream cones.
- 27:57Speaker 3: Yes, that is how I would describe them.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Right now, and now Connor meets Emma. Now we really
- 28:06Speaker 1: like we what I really like Emma?
- 28:11Speaker 2: I wanted her off my screen every time she was
- 28:14Speaker 2: on my screen.
- 28:16Speaker 3: Why she's so annoying? Do I have MS? I don't know.
- 28:21Speaker 2: I was greatly annoyed less everything about her annoyed me.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Okay, okay, okay, Well, as we go, maybe she you
- 28:33Speaker 1: may change your mind.
- 28:34Speaker 3: Well she did. My mind didn't change by the end
- 28:36Speaker 3: of episode two.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Okay, So this is Emma Emma is. It's so funny
- 28:42Speaker 1: because it'll on the screen and I'll say twenty seven
- 28:44Speaker 1: retail merchandising. Sometimes it doesn't match with what because I
- 28:48Speaker 1: guess it's their age now, but it doesn't match with
- 28:50Speaker 1: what's I screen versus what like I pulled off at Instagram.
- 28:53Speaker 1: So Connor meets her, and Connor's very into the star
- 28:58Speaker 1: system because he just told you all about the stars.
- 29:01Speaker 1: Now he tells Emma, you get one star just because
- 29:03Speaker 1: you have a good name, and he's talking and he goes,
- 29:07Speaker 1: you know, sometimes my mom says, Connor, I love you,
- 29:09Speaker 1: but sometimes you should shut the fuck up. Honestly, not
- 29:11Speaker 1: bad advice. I was like, like, keishan't I always say
- 29:15Speaker 1: if your mom is telling.
- 29:17Speaker 3: You that that's right, that you need to take note.
- 29:19Speaker 1: And as a woman, you should take note to whatever
- 29:22Speaker 1: the mother is saying about her son, because it's true.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Connor tells Emma that he sells dumpsters, commercial grade dumpsters.
- 29:31Speaker 1: I mean, okay, I'm like, hear about that every day.
- 29:34Speaker 1: But somebody's gotta someone's gotta do it. Somebody's got to
- 29:37Speaker 1: be in charge of selling the dumpsters. Yeah, he tells
- 29:41Speaker 1: her she's got three stars, and the talking head Emma
- 29:45Speaker 1: tells us, now you cannot see in this picture, but
- 29:47Speaker 1: she does have a lot of scarring on one arm.
- 29:52Speaker 3: I couldn't see it.
- 29:54Speaker 1: It's very very apparent. So you were not looking. My
- 29:58Speaker 1: eyes were kept closes an episode that she was aboording.
- 30:02Speaker 3: But here's the truth of matter. I'm half blind.
- 30:05Speaker 2: So it was on the TV so I just unless
- 30:08Speaker 2: sometimes I have to get up close, so I'll make
- 30:10Speaker 2: sure to get up close next time so I can
- 30:12Speaker 2: see the scar.
- 30:12Speaker 3: Is it bad? Is it really noticeable?
- 30:14Speaker 1: Yes? Her whole arm is misshapen. Oh really, from risk
- 30:20Speaker 1: to shoulder. Oh wow, it's like severe scar tissue the
- 30:25Speaker 1: whole no, m Yeah yeah really, it's very apparent, like
- 30:31Speaker 1: I noticed it before she said it. Yes, yeah, that's
- 30:35Speaker 1: her heart. So and you're talking to Emma Goes. I
- 30:37Speaker 1: used to be really self conscious of my scars, but
- 30:40Speaker 1: being here is nice because you can erase physical appearance.
- 30:43Speaker 1: I mean, she's a very cute girl. I think she
- 30:48Speaker 1: was kind of gummy.
- 30:50Speaker 4: Well she is, but I I like her. I think
- 30:55Speaker 4: she's so Okay, hold on, Okay, we are not gonna
- 30:58Speaker 4: judge people based on the SOB stories.
- 31:02Speaker 1: I know, but it helps, it helps, Okay, it helps
- 31:09Speaker 1: me like them more if I know their SOB story. Okay,
- 31:16Speaker 1: Kesha's already told me. He's already told me. She was
- 31:19Speaker 1: in a mood before we started, so I wasn't.
- 31:24Speaker 3: I'll do better episode three and four, maybe I'll be.
- 31:27Speaker 1: But she didn't annoy me the whole I just I
- 31:29Speaker 1: did not take to her at all, okay, all right,
- 31:32Speaker 1: well that's fine. That's what this is about. It's about
- 31:34Speaker 1: you know, all right. So she meets Mike. Here's Mike.
- 31:39Speaker 1: Mike is twenty nine. He's a sales manager. He says
- 31:43Speaker 1: he wants somebody down to earth in genuine that's what
- 31:45Speaker 1: his little Kyron says. He's thirty, she's twenty seven, or
- 31:49Speaker 1: maybe she's twenty eight unclear. She tells him she's been
- 31:53Speaker 1: single about a year and she's been thinking she really
- 31:56Speaker 1: does want to get married, and he is saying he
- 31:58Speaker 1: really really wants kids. Oh boy, okay, and she goes, yeah,
- 32:03Speaker 1: I mean I'm interested in having kids, but like with
- 32:05Speaker 1: the right partner, but I'm not complete, Like that's not
- 32:09Speaker 1: like my dream. I was like, you know, like Breezy
- 32:12Speaker 1: wants to be the super Bowl House with all the
- 32:14Speaker 1: kids or right, No, that was Christine. So they all
- 32:17Speaker 1: look alike. So they're talking about the kid thing. In
- 32:20Speaker 1: her talking head, she tells us, you know, I was
- 32:22Speaker 1: adopted and so I don't know anything about She was
- 32:26Speaker 1: adopted from China into an American white family. And she says,
- 32:31Speaker 1: I don't know any medical problems I could pass down,
- 32:33Speaker 1: and you know, my wonderful adopted family is the best
- 32:36Speaker 1: example of love, and I'm just not ready to disclose
- 32:38Speaker 1: it to all the guys yet. It's like day one,
- 32:41Speaker 1: you know.
- 32:42Speaker 3: I mean, should you disclose something like that.
- 32:44Speaker 1: Day one that you don't want to have kids?
- 32:48Speaker 2: Well, I think she's not ready to disclose the reason
- 32:52Speaker 2: why she doesn't want to have kids, which is because
- 32:54Speaker 2: of her medical condition.
- 32:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I think she suld she should say, yeah, you know,
- 33:01Speaker 1: having kids hasn't always been on the forefront, Like I'm
- 33:03Speaker 1: not dying to have kids just because if a guy
- 33:06Speaker 1: is like, that's the that is the deal, that's the
- 33:09Speaker 1: deal breaker, then just take her off the list because
- 33:11Speaker 1: she's not sure you want a girl who's like Christine
- 33:14Speaker 1: who wants to have all the kids at her house
- 33:15Speaker 1: and be the Super Bowl mom and the whole thing. Yeah,
- 33:19Speaker 1: and some guys are just like, man, I don't really
- 33:20Speaker 1: care either, Like I've always thought like maybe I would,
- 33:22Speaker 1: but it's not.
- 33:23Speaker 3: Like that's a big deal.
- 33:27Speaker 1: She meets this douche Canoe Steven.
- 33:33Speaker 2: Boys, he's something else, Steve, he is something else.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Before he opens his mouth, you already know he's in finance,
- 33:44Speaker 1: and he's a finance.
- 33:47Speaker 3: I agree, So.
- 33:48Speaker 1: He sits down with her and tells her right away, Hey,
- 33:51Speaker 1: I'm Steven. I'm in finance, and just so you know,
- 33:56Speaker 1: I'm not into going deep, but I want somebody who
- 33:59Speaker 1: can ban her back and forth. It's like, you gotta
- 34:01Speaker 1: be smart, you gotta be on your toes. Okay, So
- 34:05Speaker 1: she maybe you should do speed dating instead of this experiment,
- 34:10Speaker 1: and she tells him about her dog, who she adopted,
- 34:13Speaker 1: and then he says, would you ever want to adopt
- 34:16Speaker 1: a child? And she goes, right now, I'm not thinking
- 34:20Speaker 1: about children. I'm really just focused on finding a partner,
- 34:22Speaker 1: and he goes, yeah, you know that's a great answer
- 34:24Speaker 1: because there's like so many guys in here like, hey,
- 34:27Speaker 1: you want my babies, and so I get that and
- 34:30Speaker 1: she's like yeah. He goes yeah, Like when I get home,
- 34:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna go back and do the Big Brother Program
- 34:35Speaker 1: pretty hard. I'm gonna go pretty hard on the Big
- 34:37Speaker 1: Brother Program.
- 34:38Speaker 2: What oh, Okay, I don't think you need to be
- 34:41Speaker 2: a mentor to anyone.
- 34:43Speaker 1: No no, no, no, no no no no no, you're not
- 34:45Speaker 1: gonna he's not he's he's not gonna get he's gonna
- 34:48Speaker 1: get it denied, because they do deny certain people. Yeah,
- 34:51Speaker 1: they're gonna take one look at him and watch him
- 34:53Speaker 1: on the show and be like, no, thank you. The children, No,
- 34:57Speaker 1: the children are already. Yeah, I live through a lot
- 35:00Speaker 1: right now.
- 35:01Speaker 3: We don't need to add. This guy's a mentor. Now.
- 35:04Speaker 1: So he's talking about his grandparents and he say they
- 35:07Speaker 1: have the best love story ever, and she's like, oh
- 35:09Speaker 1: my gosh, like I love old people. I taught senior
- 35:11Speaker 1: citizens hip hop. And then they talk about their parents
- 35:14Speaker 1: being in love and dancing in the kitchen whatever. Okay,
- 35:18Speaker 1: the guys and girls, I didn't get any of that.
- 35:20Speaker 3: That was all to me.
- 35:23Speaker 1: Yeah, the grandparents, the what the girls and guys, that
- 35:27Speaker 1: all go back to the lounge.
- 35:29Speaker 3: Cheers.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Wooo, day one, it's over all right. Next, we're gonna
- 35:34Speaker 1: meet Kia. Now, Kia, I like, let me pull up
- 35:39Speaker 1: our girl, Kia here, that's.
- 35:44Speaker 3: Who also looks like every other black girl.
- 35:47Speaker 1: That there's three beautiful black girls. Why can't I find Kia?
- 35:51Speaker 1: What if I didn't get her picture? Just not a
- 35:54Speaker 1: picture of it either way? No, no, no, no, here
- 35:55Speaker 1: she is here, She is here. She's okay, she's a
- 35:58Speaker 1: marketing director. Okay, Kia, very cute, thirty marketing director. You said, no,
- 36:04Speaker 1: she's not cute. You don't think she's cute.
- 36:08Speaker 3: No, I think she's cute. Just think they all look alike.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Oh okay. I was like, how could you know? Her
- 36:13Speaker 1: Instagram is lovely Kia B don't love that?
- 36:17Speaker 3: Okay, I don't love that either.
- 36:20Speaker 1: She says she's here to find her light, her love
- 36:23Speaker 1: her man. She means either, I don't like that either.
- 36:27Speaker 1: She meets I'm just now going through it. She meets
- 36:29Speaker 1: Kevin with an a okay, mm, Kevin is thirty one
- 36:34Speaker 1: in a realtor and I don't know why we're fighting
- 36:38Speaker 1: over this man.
- 36:39Speaker 3: Girl.
- 36:40Speaker 2: I'm glad you said it because I'm like, this is
- 36:44Speaker 2: what y'all are crying about fighting about. Your anxiety is
- 36:48Speaker 2: high about this guy.
- 36:52Speaker 3: Wow.
- 36:53Speaker 1: I love how one of the girls called him Kavon.
- 36:55Speaker 1: She was like and she like, like kay dash Vaughn.
- 36:58Speaker 1: She was like, how do you even say? They're like
- 36:59Speaker 1: it's Kevin Kim and Kevin wrong. So she's talking to
- 37:05Speaker 1: Kevin about movies. He says, oh, got you. My favorite
- 37:07Speaker 1: movie was Loving Basketball and she was like, with all,
- 37:10Speaker 1: the worst movie ever.
- 37:13Speaker 2: I mean, it is like black people for it will
- 37:16Speaker 2: always be on the top five of greatest movies of
- 37:18Speaker 2: all time for black people, not me.
- 37:21Speaker 3: And I don't get it. I do not get it.
- 37:23Speaker 3: I agree with her one hundred and twenty percent.
- 37:25Speaker 1: She was like that movie was corny, and she was
- 37:27Speaker 1: like she was like, I liked Love Jones. Now did
- 37:31Speaker 1: you notice Kea was in some sort of like red
- 37:33Speaker 1: like fingertip all the way to the foot like bodysuit.
- 37:36Speaker 3: You know, you know? I noticed that it was that
- 37:39Speaker 3: Kim Kardashian.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Yeah, all covered.
- 37:41Speaker 3: I don't. I don't. I don't put you did all
- 37:44Speaker 3: that for a man that's not gonna see it.
- 37:46Speaker 1: And I'm also like, maybe it's like super comfy. I
- 37:48Speaker 1: don't know.
- 37:49Speaker 3: Does that shit look comfortable to you?
- 37:51Speaker 1: No? Not to me?
- 37:51Speaker 3: Would you wear that?
- 37:52Speaker 1: No? But I don't know.
- 37:53Speaker 2: That was like a tanning bag that you would sleeping
- 37:56Speaker 2: after you tanned, and you have you ever heard of
- 37:58Speaker 2: the tanning No?
- 38:01Speaker 1: How do I know this?
- 38:01Speaker 3: And you don't.
- 38:02Speaker 1: I don't know. I never heard of that, like.
- 38:04Speaker 2: After you go, Yeah, so you don't get it all
- 38:07Speaker 2: over your bedding at night. It's like attaining Kate sleepingy Oh?
- 38:15Speaker 3: Why do I know this? And you do not?
- 38:17Speaker 1: I don't know it's smart, though, I know it's going
- 38:19Speaker 1: to remind me of that it's hot, like sweating. So
- 38:25Speaker 1: Kevin says he's been single two and a half years,
- 38:28Speaker 1: and you know, he's grateful for his ex. She taught
- 38:31Speaker 1: him a lot, taught him patience, taught him how to
- 38:33Speaker 1: have tougher conversations, and he absolutely does want to get
- 38:36Speaker 1: married one day and have kids and says, you know
- 38:39Speaker 1: one thing about me is you'll know exactly how I feel.
- 38:42Speaker 3: Well.
- 38:42Speaker 1: This is.
- 38:44Speaker 2: Well because he fucking crashes out at the end of
- 38:49Speaker 2: the episode, like, I think your girl ex girlfriend talked
- 38:52Speaker 2: to you as much as you as much as you thought,
- 38:54Speaker 2: because you're being tested right now and you're feeling.
- 38:57Speaker 1: And he says Key is really down to earth. He
- 38:59Speaker 1: likes her, but he also really likes Tyler, her sister,
- 39:04Speaker 1: her twin sister, Tyler. Just pull up Tyler. I wish
- 39:08Speaker 1: I would have put these in some kind of order.
- 39:10Speaker 1: Here's Tyler, Okay, Tyler is thirty three, She's a sales leader,
- 39:17Speaker 1: design director. I don't know Kia Kia is the one
- 39:20Speaker 1: with this like super high power job or is Tyler.
- 39:25Speaker 3: No, I think it's Tyler. It's Tyler.
- 39:27Speaker 1: I think it's Tyler. Yeah, because here on the screen
- 39:31Speaker 1: it says design director, and then here on this Instagram
- 39:35Speaker 1: picture it says sales leader.
- 39:37Speaker 3: Okay, so you know one of them could have used
- 39:42Speaker 3: what some things?
- 39:45Speaker 1: You're right, so we could.
- 39:47Speaker 3: Tell them apart because they look just alike.
- 39:50Speaker 1: I don't think they look just alike.
- 39:52Speaker 2: It's nay when you're when you're dealing with a whole
- 39:56Speaker 2: bunch of people.
- 39:57Speaker 3: Yes, I think.
- 39:58Speaker 2: You're like, oh my god, they look a lot gets
- 40:00Speaker 2: the part down the middle and tame here.
- 40:02Speaker 1: Yeah. And also I think it's because I've watched it twice.
- 40:06Speaker 1: So Tyler says to Kevin, have you been I've been
- 40:11Speaker 1: doing a lot of journaling and reflecting. How about you?
- 40:14Speaker 1: And he goes, oh, yeah, yeah, I've been doing a
- 40:16Speaker 1: lot of journaling. And they talk about what marriage is about,
- 40:20Speaker 1: and he says he lives in Columbus and she lives
- 40:23Speaker 1: in Cincinnati, So how would they make.
- 40:25Speaker 3: That far apart? Are those two places? Okay?
- 40:28Speaker 1: Now, let's I think a cut few hours. Okay, sounds
- 40:32Speaker 1: great to me, believe it or not.
- 40:33Speaker 3: Fucking great? Your dating someone they lived three hours away?
- 40:38Speaker 1: How far is Cincinnati from Columbus? You can't believe I
- 40:45Speaker 1: didn't find out.
- 40:46Speaker 2: I'm I'm a little bit disappointed. I'm sorry you weren't
- 40:50Speaker 2: on it. You weren't on it one hour and thirty
- 40:53Speaker 2: nine minutes.
- 40:54Speaker 3: That is nothing.
- 40:55Speaker 1: That's that's that's a commute.
- 40:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I thought it was like a the way they
- 41:00Speaker 3: were acting.
- 41:01Speaker 1: Yeah, less than two hours. So he's like, you know,
- 41:06Speaker 1: we're in different how would we handle that right? And
- 41:09Speaker 1: she goes, well, I would hope I could meet someone
- 41:12Speaker 1: that would be open to relocating. Now it sounds like
- 41:15Speaker 1: she's got a big fucking deal job where she's moved
- 41:17Speaker 1: up in a company where she does not need to
- 41:20Speaker 1: leave that company because she's.
- 41:21Speaker 3: Been there a while.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Yeah, he's a realtor. Work anywhere, Kevin.
- 41:26Speaker 3: You can work anywhere you want to. So she just
- 41:29Speaker 3: don't want to. He don't want to be little, because
- 41:31Speaker 3: if you're making all these excuses.
- 41:34Speaker 1: Come on, She says, I would hope somebody would be
- 41:36Speaker 1: open to relocating. But you know, I would move if
- 41:38Speaker 1: I had to, because that would be my husband. Obviously
- 41:40Speaker 1: I would be I'd move if I had to. But
- 41:43Speaker 1: you know, in my job, there is a very small
- 41:46Speaker 1: percentage of people who have gotten to my level being
- 41:49Speaker 1: a director at my job before the age of thirty
- 41:52Speaker 1: is a huge deal, she says, especially for girls who
- 41:56Speaker 1: look like me. And I did it all by being myself.
- 41:59Speaker 1: I didn't have to code switch, I didn't have to
- 42:01Speaker 1: do anything. I was myself and I made it, you know,
- 42:04Speaker 1: by being myself. And it would probably be crazy to
- 42:07Speaker 1: leave that professional environment where I'm thriving.
- 42:10Speaker 2: Now, Mary Payne, did you know what she meant by
- 42:13Speaker 2: when she said code switch?
- 42:15Speaker 1: This is this?
- 42:16Speaker 3: What it mean? Tell me what it means? Tell me
- 42:19Speaker 3: I'm ready to hear it.
- 42:20Speaker 1: And how I know because I covered Ilaria Baldwin's show
- 42:27Speaker 1: and she talked to a girl who was British Okay
- 42:32Speaker 1: and lived in the United States, and she asked her,
- 42:34Speaker 1: when you're around your American friends, do you talk with
- 42:37Speaker 1: more of an American accent? And the girl says kind of,
- 42:40Speaker 1: I do find myself acting more American, and Ilaria Baldwin,
- 42:44Speaker 1: Who's from Connecticut, said, well, she said, oh, you know
- 42:47Speaker 1: what this is. That's what I you know, people say
- 42:49Speaker 1: I have this accent of thing was because it's my culture,
- 42:51Speaker 1: that your culture from Connecticut.
- 42:52Speaker 3: And it's not your culture.
- 42:53Speaker 1: And she said people say that that's what I'm doing.
- 42:55Speaker 1: But you know, I learned this tournament. It's called code switching,
- 42:58Speaker 1: and so that's what I'm doing, switching. You're from Connecticut,
- 43:03Speaker 1: so I understand that code switching means you change your mannerisms,
- 43:07Speaker 1: your behavior, language depending on the group of people you're around. Yes, girl,
- 43:11Speaker 1: that's why you, my girl, Mary pay Mary Payne.
- 43:15Speaker 2: That one drop is in you somewhere. That's why I
- 43:17Speaker 2: keep saying it somewhere. It's somewhere.
- 43:20Speaker 1: I like that. I like that she explained it. She's
- 43:22Speaker 1: too She's moved up the corporate ladder by being herself.
- 43:25Speaker 1: She didn't have to act. I don't know, White Prince. Yeah,
- 43:30Speaker 1: she was able to do it by being herself. So
- 43:33Speaker 1: to leave that professional environment where she has thrived would
- 43:37Speaker 1: would be stupid.
- 43:38Speaker 2: She'd have to start all over somewhere, and she may
- 43:40Speaker 2: not get to the top somewhere else.
- 43:42Speaker 1: Right, and here, she obviously is uh, you know, well known,
- 43:46Speaker 1: well liked, and moving. So he says, God, you know,
- 43:50Speaker 1: all the conversations you and I are hiving, Tyler, you
- 43:52Speaker 1: have that it factor. God, you know, And I think
- 43:55Speaker 1: Tyler is super cute. Okay, Now I'm Ashley and Alex
- 44:04Speaker 1: so this motherfucker you do.
- 44:09Speaker 3: Okay, I'm trying to remember what did he do?
- 44:11Speaker 1: Okay, Alex on the screen says Alex aged thirty soccer coach.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Here on his Instagram profile, it says Alex thirty one
- 44:21Speaker 1: financial sales, So another financial bro.
- 44:24Speaker 3: He's looking for sugar mama.
- 44:28Speaker 1: I thought he liking soccer coach to financial he's looking.
- 44:31Speaker 3: For sugar mama.
- 44:32Speaker 1: I don't like him, Okay, all right, not as much
- 44:37Speaker 1: as I hate Steven. Okay, I don't like Alex. And
- 44:42Speaker 1: it will come as no surprise to you that the
- 44:43Speaker 1: people he follows on Instagram, you won't like him. Okay, okay.
- 44:53Speaker 1: So Alex, who thinks he is the hottest guy to
- 44:57Speaker 1: ever hit this planet, says, you know, generally I won't
- 45:03Speaker 1: approach a woman unless the physical is there, and that's
- 45:06Speaker 1: a fault of mine. I'm admitting it. And there's probably
- 45:10Speaker 1: women I've missed out on, and I'm excited to see
- 45:13Speaker 1: potential in these women without seeing And you know, I
- 45:16Speaker 1: want to be so understood by my woman that she
- 45:19Speaker 1: can finish my sentences. So this is Alex, and he
- 45:25Speaker 1: meets let's get quickly over as not Amber with the
- 45:28Speaker 1: hair that's Alex and he meets Ashley. She's gorgeous and
- 45:35Speaker 1: if he saw her on the outside, he would approach
- 45:38Speaker 1: her at a bar most definitely.
- 45:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 45:42Speaker 1: Ashley's thirty three, she's a claims supervisor. Remember he's thirty one,
- 45:46Speaker 1: soccer coach slash finance bro.
- 45:49Speaker 3: And this picture right here does not do her justice.
- 45:51Speaker 1: She's incredible. I think she looks a whole lot better
- 45:55Speaker 1: like on the episode than she does in this picture.
- 45:58Speaker 1: I need to pull up a sound drop because Alex
- 46:03Speaker 1: has a phrase that he's going to use so much
- 46:06Speaker 1: that we need a sound drop for it.
- 46:08Speaker 2: Oh shit, Okay did she pass the vibe check from
- 46:12Speaker 2: Amy Archer?
- 46:14Speaker 1: Ooh Ashley, let's see no also follow some very problematic people.
- 46:23Speaker 1: Oh man, But but good they're a good match.
- 46:28Speaker 3: Then that is true. Good.
- 46:31Speaker 1: It just took two people off the market. Just be
- 46:34Speaker 1: with each other. Okay, right, they're both extremely attractive, these two. Okay,
- 46:41Speaker 1: so they seem to like each other. They seem to
- 46:46Speaker 1: be vibing when they're talking, and.
- 46:47Speaker 3: Then she's very sexual.
- 46:49Speaker 1: She says like, are you a good kiss her? And
- 46:51Speaker 1: he's like, oh, I haven't had any complaints, you know,
- 46:54Speaker 1: And he says to her huh, that's going to be
- 46:57Speaker 1: dangerous going forward. Three times on this episode and about
- 47:09Speaker 1: twenty six times on the following episodes.
- 47:11Speaker 3: That's gonna be dangerous going forward.
- 47:14Speaker 1: He just says dangerous, dangerous. So he says that's gonna
- 47:20Speaker 1: be dangerous going forward. So they talk about big Spoon,
- 47:22Speaker 1: Little spoon, who you know, snuggling. She says, well, she
- 47:25Speaker 1: says sex is very important to me, and he goes, well,
- 47:28Speaker 1: you know what I like during sex? I like feedback.
- 47:32Speaker 1: She goes, oh, you like dirty talk, And again he goes, oh, boy,
- 47:36Speaker 1: you're dangerous. Okay, I'm not gonna.
- 47:39Speaker 2: Say what like okay, see this is and I'm gonna
- 47:45Speaker 2: say something you're gonna kill me.
- 47:47Speaker 3: I mean history. Actually, you would think she would have.
- 47:49Speaker 1: Said a finger up the butt, like the way he just.
- 47:52Speaker 3: Went like who. She didn't say anything like scandalous.
- 47:59Speaker 1: She just said she likes dirty talker. She likes for
- 48:01Speaker 1: him to have dirty talk, and and here talking heads
- 48:05Speaker 1: so many different things I know, and the talk ye
- 48:08Speaker 1: dirty talk is like I'm going to give.
- 48:09Speaker 3: You cookies after this. Okay, we'll tell you something. Girl.
- 48:15Speaker 1: You're gonna get a buttery chardonnay and a kitcat bar
- 48:18Speaker 1: and I'd be like, that's slow down because here boom
- 48:26Speaker 1: so and the talking head. She goes, you know, my
- 48:30Speaker 1: dad would say I have a bad picker. But Alex
- 48:33Speaker 1: and I we have sexual chemistry, which is why you
- 48:36Speaker 1: shouldn't pick him. If we've learned anything from this show. Okay,
- 48:42Speaker 1: now we meet Mike. Okay, or we've already met Mike.
- 48:47Speaker 1: Mike is a sales manager. I'd like, I was just
- 48:50Speaker 1: like putting all this stuff down so I could because
- 48:52Speaker 1: everybody looks like it.
- 48:53Speaker 2: I'm just trying to they really do. I mean, even
- 48:55Speaker 2: the guys look so much alike.
- 48:58Speaker 1: Okay, here's Mike. So Mike is talking to Emma and
- 49:02Speaker 1: it was the girl that I think is cute that
- 49:03Speaker 1: you don't okay with the scars, and he says his
- 49:08Speaker 1: big thing, his main thing, he really wants children. So
- 49:14Speaker 1: they're chatting and she goes, god, I've been so confused
- 49:16Speaker 1: and here talking to people, you know, but I really
- 49:19Speaker 1: liked you right away and wanted to get to know you.
- 49:21Speaker 1: So they laugh and they joke around. He tells her
- 49:23Speaker 1: he thinks she's amazing and she's like super high up
- 49:26Speaker 1: on his list, and they're joking, like am I on
- 49:28Speaker 1: your talk three, and he says, I feel like I
- 49:31Speaker 1: can be myself with you, and I think you have
- 49:33Speaker 1: a great voice. She talks to him about her internal
- 49:37Speaker 1: battle about having children and she doesn't want to commit
- 49:40Speaker 1: to it right away. She's really more finding a partner.
- 49:44Speaker 1: And he's like, I don't want to get married and
- 49:46Speaker 1: have kids right away, but I do eventually, like it's
- 49:49Speaker 1: very important to him, right And he goes, but I'm
- 49:52Speaker 1: not really trying to change your mind or pressure you.
- 49:54Speaker 1: I'm just telling you how I feel and it's important
- 49:56Speaker 1: to me. And she goes, I mean, honestly, I found
- 49:59Speaker 1: the right person, it could happen. And he says, well,
- 50:04Speaker 1: if we were in love and you were my wife,
- 50:07Speaker 1: that would be tough if you didn't want kids, because
- 50:11Speaker 1: I would have to make a decision there, right, Yeah,
- 50:14Speaker 1: And so she tells him, you know, you're really really
- 50:18Speaker 1: near the top of my list. He's like, oh, you're
- 50:20Speaker 1: just saying that. She's like, no, I'm validating you. And
- 50:22Speaker 1: they seem okay. But again, like we just said five
- 50:25Speaker 1: minutes ago, if having kids is so so important to
- 50:28Speaker 1: you and you're talking to a girl is very very unsure,
- 50:32Speaker 1: then you need to move on, because that's not that's
- 50:36Speaker 1: a that's a deal breaker for anybody.
- 50:39Speaker 3: I mean, here's the thing.
- 50:40Speaker 2: Sometimes you will meet someone there like I really don't
- 50:43Speaker 2: want to have kids, and then you meet a person
- 50:46Speaker 2: who really does and you love them so much it
- 50:49Speaker 2: just makes you totally change your mind, right, you know,
- 50:53Speaker 2: and then you're kind of like.
- 50:54Speaker 3: What is what do they say on love? Shoot up
- 50:57Speaker 3: the club?
- 50:57Speaker 1: And then you want to shoot up the club?
- 50:59Speaker 3: Do you want to shoot up the club? And then
- 51:00Speaker 3: you got a baby nine months later and it just
- 51:02Speaker 3: works out.
- 51:03Speaker 2: So she's not saying no, but here's the opportunity for
- 51:09Speaker 2: her to say exactly why.
- 51:11Speaker 3: And it has nothing to do with like, no, she
- 51:13Speaker 3: doesn't have maternal instincts. It's because she doesn't want to
- 51:15Speaker 3: give her kid what she has.
- 51:17Speaker 1: Yeah, but she's not telling them guys this right away
- 51:20Speaker 1: because I think she also doesn't want to say I
- 51:22Speaker 1: have scarring and then picture the worst and like you
- 51:25Speaker 1: never even notice it, do you know what I mean? Like,
- 51:27Speaker 1: she doesn't want to put that out there because a
- 51:29Speaker 1: guy will immediately be like, oh, well, she probably looks
- 51:32Speaker 1: like a troll under a bridge, right, you.
- 51:33Speaker 2: Know, because you because when you say fast scarring. People
- 51:37Speaker 2: are going to automatically assume you mean.
- 51:39Speaker 1: On your face, right, She says, where it is and stuff.
- 51:42Speaker 1: But I think it's I think it's a good idea
- 51:45Speaker 1: for her to get to know these people first. So
- 51:48Speaker 1: now we have Connor and Emma, the girl we're talking about,
- 51:51Speaker 1: are talking.
- 51:52Speaker 3: Now.
- 51:52Speaker 1: Remember he's the one you said look like child bearing hips,
- 51:56Speaker 1: and he says to Emma, he goes, I really like
- 51:58Speaker 1: talking to you. I feel like really calm, you know
- 52:00Speaker 1: when we're talking, and you know you're starting She says, yeah, Connor,
- 52:04Speaker 1: like you're starting to mean something to me. I really
- 52:07Speaker 1: like you, but it does seem very surface. And she
- 52:12Speaker 1: says with Connor, it's starting to feel a little bit
- 52:15Speaker 1: like it did with her last ex boyfriend. Nobody ever
- 52:18Speaker 1: opened up or said anything unless they were drunk, and
- 52:21Speaker 1: which was I think that was like a cool thing
- 52:24Speaker 1: to admit, like only when we're drunk, and we're like, oh,
- 52:27Speaker 1: I really you know right, And she says, you know
- 52:30Speaker 1: that relationship was just turned out to be mediocre. And
- 52:33Speaker 1: I've had a lot of relationships where I didn't feel
- 52:35Speaker 1: good enough. I'm very scared of being hurt. He's like,
- 52:39Speaker 1: I'm so glad you told me all that, Like, I
- 52:41Speaker 1: totally understand. And he goes, and I want to let
- 52:44Speaker 1: you know I'm not the person that runs. I will
- 52:47Speaker 1: never run. I will never abandon you. What that'sa Now, two,
- 52:53Speaker 1: you don't.
- 52:53Speaker 3: Know he's lying.
- 52:55Speaker 2: If someone is that adamant about I don't run, I'll
- 52:58Speaker 2: never you.
- 52:59Speaker 3: Never know what the fuck you'll do? You just met, Yes,
- 53:04Speaker 3: you may see her gums and deside to run.
- 53:07Speaker 1: Right, so I'm talking to her, She goes. Connor and
- 53:09Speaker 1: I have been on a lighthearted journey, but today he
- 53:12Speaker 1: was able to open up. And I'm thinking, you know,
- 53:14Speaker 1: I also have a connection with Mike as well as
- 53:16Speaker 1: Steven the finance bros. Okay, now I got Steven. Let
- 53:20Speaker 1: me have home up his dumb fucking ask Stephen. I
- 53:22Speaker 1: hate he really was just like he he's awful.
- 53:27Speaker 2: He needs to just have a conversation with himself because
- 53:31Speaker 2: everything was about him.
- 53:34Speaker 3: Yes, it was just all.
- 53:36Speaker 1: About him, like he's a massive interrupter and just yes.
- 53:39Speaker 1: And he told her first day when he talked to
- 53:42Speaker 1: any girl and goes, I'm not into deep conversations. I
- 53:44Speaker 1: just want some banter. Well, why are you here?
- 53:47Speaker 2: Yeah, like I said, speed dating is you need to
- 53:49Speaker 2: be a professional speed dater. That way, you've got what
- 53:52Speaker 2: ten minutes with the person and then you move on.
- 53:54Speaker 3: That's it.
- 53:55Speaker 1: So he comes in to talk to Emma and she goes, okay,
- 53:58Speaker 1: if you were a magazine, would you be And of
- 54:01Speaker 1: course he says GQ and he laughs and goes, my
- 54:06Speaker 1: lifelong goal is to be a Haines underwear model. And
- 54:08Speaker 1: then he goes, I'm just being a silly goose. Oh,
- 54:12Speaker 1: I hate the fact that he says silly goose and
- 54:14Speaker 1: he's not five. What on earth?
- 54:18Speaker 3: Now?
- 54:18Speaker 1: First? And now I was like, is Stephen slightly gay?
- 54:25Speaker 1: But then I remembered Stephen is the guy that has many, many,
- 54:30Speaker 1: more than one sexual assault charges against him.
- 54:33Speaker 3: Oh, this is the guy.
- 54:34Speaker 1: This is the guy. And by the way, if I
- 54:37Speaker 1: just would have watched episode one and two and I
- 54:39Speaker 1: forgot about it, I would I would have known it
- 54:42Speaker 1: was this guy. Yeah, he has something else, he really
- 54:47Speaker 1: and he seems like the type that would roofy a girl.
- 54:50Speaker 1: Yeah he does. And maybe what happened and some of
- 54:53Speaker 1: the why would you go on a show and you
- 54:57Speaker 1: know you have these charges against you and say things like,
- 55:01Speaker 1: don't be such a silly goose. Yeah that is so like, okay,
- 55:06Speaker 1: that is super gross. Yeah. So she says to him,
- 55:09Speaker 1: you know, I do worry if you're my husband, like
- 55:11Speaker 1: you don't know not to be joking all the time.
- 55:14Speaker 1: And he goes, no, I know how to be appropriate.
- 55:16Speaker 1: I know what's funny and what's not. And she goes,
- 55:19Speaker 1: I guess I just kind of want you to open up,
- 55:20Speaker 1: even though he told her he's not going to. He goes, grow,
- 55:23Speaker 1: you want to see sad boy, Steve, you want to
- 55:26Speaker 1: see the sensitive. Since she should have left after the
- 55:31Speaker 1: silly goose, I would have been like, you know.
- 55:32Speaker 3: What, I would have He would have been talking and
- 55:35Speaker 3: like hello, hell.
- 55:37Speaker 1: It would have been one of those ones. Are you
- 55:38Speaker 1: there is? She gone, Nisha and yeah, because I would
- 55:41Speaker 1: have just got my shit and left like that was
- 55:44Speaker 1: the biggest ick. Like Kim of Kim and Kyle of
- 55:50Speaker 1: ninety Day, Craig Cray put in her group text, she
- 55:52Speaker 1: put the sensitive since made my badge stry up. Yeah. Yeah, yeah,
- 56:00Speaker 1: it made you feel like you didn't.
- 56:00Speaker 3: Even have one.
- 56:02Speaker 1: You were like, oh, okay, this is my gay best friend.
- 56:05Speaker 1: So he goes, oh, yeah, I got a playlist on
- 56:07Speaker 1: my phone called the sensitive since we can get deep,
- 56:11Speaker 1: and she goes, yeah, it's six days, so you got
- 56:13Speaker 1: to get a rind until you get a ring, you
- 56:14Speaker 1: gotta shape up. Now, we know from people from the
- 56:18Speaker 1: past seasons that they all are forced to talk to
- 56:21Speaker 1: each other for ten days, and it appears people get
- 56:23Speaker 1: engaged on the first time, but they all get engaged
- 56:26Speaker 1: on the same day, which is like day eleven. Yes,
- 56:29Speaker 1: so when she says there's six days left, we know
- 56:32Speaker 1: it's day four. Okay, Right, so when talking to her,
- 56:35Speaker 1: Emma says she has three deep connections. Right, She's got
- 56:39Speaker 1: Sensitive since a Steve, she's got I can't remembers Alex,
- 56:46Speaker 1: she's got Connor, and she's got Mike. Again, you guys,
- 56:51Speaker 1: they all look alike. They will come into focus, but
- 56:54Speaker 1: right now they all look alike.
- 56:55Speaker 3: Okay. It usually takes me like episode three and a
- 56:57Speaker 3: half or four.
- 57:00Speaker 1: And Christine are talking. Now we remember, let me see
- 57:04Speaker 1: if I can find hot Vic. That's Kevin and we're
- 57:08Speaker 1: not hot and he's not hot. Let's see if we
- 57:13Speaker 1: can find Christine.
- 57:14Speaker 3: Can I just be honest, Yeah, I just realized I'm
- 57:17Speaker 3: not attracted to any of the guys.
- 57:20Speaker 1: I like the big Burley guy, I do well.
- 57:23Speaker 3: I live with that.
- 57:24Speaker 1: So yeah, that's Amber. There's Victor of the Professor.
- 57:30Speaker 3: I don't find any of them to be.
- 57:35Speaker 1: No, I really don't. All Right, we saw there's going
- 57:38Speaker 1: to be some more guys.
- 57:39Speaker 3: You're going to get some new guys.
- 57:41Speaker 1: No, all these people that you're saying, this is what
- 57:43Speaker 1: you got. Okay, there is somebody that's not on this
- 57:47Speaker 1: slide because we haven't seen him yet.
- 57:49Speaker 3: Okay.
- 57:51Speaker 1: Vic and Christine talk now here. They discuss things they
- 57:54Speaker 1: might do in Mexico. When we're in Mexico. We might
- 57:58Speaker 1: do this. You guys, if you've watched one through six,
- 58:03Speaker 1: you know they don't go to Mexico. Everybody goes to Mexico,
- 58:08Speaker 1: but these two go to Malibu in California. Somebody had
- 58:12Speaker 1: a problem with their passport or his banned from leaving
- 58:16Speaker 1: the United States or banned from Mexico. We're gonna have
- 58:20Speaker 1: to find out, and I need the couples to be like, hey,
- 58:24Speaker 1: why aren't Vic and Christina here?
- 58:26Speaker 2: That is very very peculiar because we've only since I've
- 58:32Speaker 2: been watching a show, I've only known of one couple
- 58:34Speaker 2: that didn't go on the trip, and that was that
- 58:36Speaker 2: weird watch guy.
- 58:38Speaker 1: Mm hmm. No, the art guy, the art guy and
- 58:41Speaker 1: uh the art guy with the rolex.
- 58:43Speaker 3: Yeah they went to Florida.
- 58:45Speaker 1: Uh huh they went to Miami. Yeah I am yeah.
- 58:49Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, so because they just.
- 58:51Speaker 1: Wanted to bang and break up. But now they're on
- 58:54Speaker 1: like a podcast together doing commentary about loves.
- 58:57Speaker 2: They seem like they would be friends for life. They really, yeah,
- 59:01Speaker 2: but this.
- 59:01Speaker 3: Is really weird.
- 59:03Speaker 1: Okay. So here they discuss things they might do in
- 59:05Speaker 1: Mexico and they talk about if they ever smoked. Now
- 59:08Speaker 1: I thought they were talking about like do you smoke,
- 59:10Speaker 1: do you drink like cigarettes? But they're talking about weed.
- 59:13Speaker 1: They're both saying they tried it when they were young.
- 59:15Speaker 1: And she goes, oh, I got a misdemeanor at eighteen
- 59:17Speaker 1: for weed. He goes, oh my god, me too. And
- 59:19Speaker 1: they say they both got misdemeanors at eight at eighteen
- 59:23Speaker 1: for weed, and they both have had their misdemeanors expunged.
- 59:25Speaker 2: Okay, they're both horrible at riding dirty, Like, how do
- 59:29Speaker 2: you get caught with weed? You to me, you almost
- 59:32Speaker 2: have to wear a sign that says, hey check me,
- 59:34Speaker 2: I got weed on.
- 59:35Speaker 1: Me to get caught with weed my husband got caught
- 59:38Speaker 1: with weed when he was like eighteen too.
- 59:40Speaker 2: Yes, I don't believe that there's nothing bad I believe
- 59:45Speaker 2: about that, sweet man.
- 59:48Speaker 1: How long have you known me? Okay, so you lie
- 59:52Speaker 1: about him? Okay, he goes, Yeah, he goes, I engaged
- 59:56Speaker 1: in a lot of knucklehead behavior, you know, between ages
- 59:59Speaker 1: fourteen and eighteen. And then she says, you know, my
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: mom has dealt with a lot of trauma in her life,
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: but she also created trauma for her children and her grandchildren,
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: and my mom is not a healed person. We've all
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: encouraged her to do therapy, but she says, I don't
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: know how many years left. I don't want to spend
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: it doing therapy.
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: Is she sick?
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: No, she she just don't want to do it.
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: That's just her reason. Okay, And she goes.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: You know, it'd be beneficial for everybody in our family
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: if my mom would at least try, and we could
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: see that she's trying. And you know, it's a similar
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: thing with my dad. He wasn't a great dad when
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: I was little.
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: You know.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: I can remember one time being in the car with
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: my dad and he swerved and the cops pulled us over.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: And he gave me his kid a pill bottle to
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: hide from the cops.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: So she's got experience it with drugs. She never should
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: have got called at the marijuana. You been hiding drug
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: since you were a little girl. Why are you getting
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: called at eighteen? Come on, now, you've had practice. But
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: that was a pretty shitty.
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: Thing to do it.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: So it sounds like her mom has done something and
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: was a narciss sister or something terrible. And he says,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: have you forgiven your father? And she says, I have
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: to think about it, so I guess not. And he goes, well,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: it's kind of amazing you turned look at how you
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: turned out. She goes, right, and you know, my sister's
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: also a great person. So like we rose above it.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: He says he had a stepfather who had an alcohol problem,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: and he once saw through the crack of the door
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: the stepdad like grabbing the mom's hair, abusing her. He
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: didn't know what to do. He was the man of
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: the house. He didn't know. He sounds like he was young,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: like twelve or something, and so he didn't know what
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: to do. So we went and found his sister, and
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: he sound.
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: Like some shit. My brothers would do. Let me can't
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: find my sister.
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: He wouldn't found his sister. And he says, well, boy,
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: you know she is tough. She went off on him
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: and he says, but I forgive that man. And he says,
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: and my mother has healed from that as well. It
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: was a long time ago. And she goes, it sounds
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: like you have a lot of good people and a
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: lot of good women in your life. And he says,
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: I do. And then he reads some stuff that he's
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: written about her, blah blah blah.
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: And I hate when they do that. I'm like, oh,
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: why do you have to do the poems? Why do
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: we don't care?
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: The K is for oh no, kangaroo, The E is
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: for elephants, k is cankles. So they talk about their connection.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: It's so real. Okay, great, this is not going to
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: work in the end. I'm telling you right now. We
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: could bet money right now. And you think it's because
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: she's too whitey white for him. Uh.
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: We talked about this before the show. I think all
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: the black women collectively are.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: Going to ride his ass for his selection, considering.
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: The amount of black women that were there, yes.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: And then him saying how strong his mother was how
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: his sister was.
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: This is like a thing we.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: Have in our community is we will have black men say, oh,
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: my mother's so strong, my sister so strong.
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: But I won't date a black woman.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you something interesting. When Vic first came
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: on the screen and I sent a picture to Matt
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: and I said, I know this is your man, your man,
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: your man. I know you love him. He said he
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: is hot, and I said, this was when I was
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: just watching episode one. I just started and I said,
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: I do not want Vic to end up with that
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: white girl. I didn't even know her name. Me.
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: Was it the same girl, same girl.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: That he ends up with, Well, what made you do that?
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: I just didn't like her. I just didn't like her
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: for him.
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: I think it's not gonna work.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: I think eventually it's not gonna work. But again, yes,
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: I've been wrong, We've been we've both been wrong.
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: You're you're not wrong very often.
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: Now the people at your house may disagree, but you're
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: not very often.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: Okay. Now, Emma and Steven financed where we were talking, and
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: she now has decided she's going to tell the guys,
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: the three guys that she likes about her story. She
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: tells him, I was adopted from age three. She tells
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: him about her scars, that she had to get all
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: this stuff removed because she had black birthmarks that would
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: be turned into melanoma. And the whole time she's talking,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: he's finishing her thoughts. Yep, she says, yeah, And it
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: was that he go embarrassing, and then she's like, and
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: I was just always like he's like self conscious, and
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: so then he says, Okay, let's lighten the mood. Do
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: you want to lighten the mood because he never wants
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: to talk about anything deep, and he says, tell me
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: about your first kiss. Okay, tell me about when you
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: lost your virginity.
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: And when she's too much, it.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: Was like he was like, he's trying to tell funny
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: stories about himself. Is what he wants to do. Yeah, well,
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: let her have her moment, right, you know she was crying.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: He didn't want to hear it. Yeah, let her have
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: her moment. This is kind of important. Very and then
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: when he was talking about like his first kiss, in
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: his first time, it was almost like he was trying
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: to want up her. Well, my experience was so great,
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: it was so this, it was so that what's wrong
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: with you that you did have the same experience which
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: this girl is already like telling you how life has
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: been hard for her because of these scars that Kishoul
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: didn't see right, and.
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: You're just stealing her small light. And this is me
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: taking up for a person who I just I don't
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: like her. Yeah, this was wrong, This was horrible. I
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: felt uncomfortable me too this entire date. I really did.
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: So when she.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: Says, oh, you know, I'm atagon in college, and I
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: was like, okay, you know, and he's like, get it
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: over with. He's finishing her sentence, and she goes, yeah,
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: and he goes, okay, college, huh, late bloomer. And she goes,
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: I don't like that you said that. Like everybody's on
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: their own journey. It doesn't mean late bloomer or whatever.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: And he goes, well, the first time I did it,
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: it was like the notebook, and now if I had
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: a sound effect for every time he fucking says the notebook.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: Because he says, no, he did more he what he does.
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: He says the notebook, the notebook. She says, I never
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: saw the notebook. He's like every girl I've ever dated.
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: I make him watch the notebook. I never saw the notebook.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: What about the notebook? They say it so many.
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: Times, Hey see this, you you may be onto something
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: with him being in the closet gay because what man?
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: What heterosexual man references the notebook and makes every girl
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: he dates watch it with him.
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's weird. Well she does.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: She doesn't make it through the whole film. She only
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: makes it through like the opening credits. Then that fucking
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: pill he put in their drink starts to kick in and.
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: There you go.
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: Ah.
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: So she kind of tears up. She was like, look,
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: boys in high school didn't like me. I was able
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: to kind of recreate myself in college. And as she's
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: crying about boys not like her in high school, wish
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: I had it and I don't, he's like, pops open
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: another white claw and goes, this story seems like I'm
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: gonna need a drink.
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: Okay, As if he wasn't bad enough, he drank a
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: white claw.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: Uh the white claw is it for me? So she says, okay,
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: all right. She goes, well, you know, I didn't really
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: like he made that comment about being a late bloomer,
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: and she's talking and over in the pause he's doing this,
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: like doing his hand like get on with it, hurry up,
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: like thinking the whole time.
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: I wish I could have slipped her appeal because I
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: wouldn't have to sit through this conversation.
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: That is what he's used to. And I'm not making
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: fun of what he does, but it all makes so
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: much sense now.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: He when he was doing this, like rolling his eyes
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: when she was talking, I know, And she says, yeah,
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: that comment just kind of rubbed me the wrong way.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: And the whole time we've been in here, you've been
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: interrupting me. And he looks he looks over at the
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: production team like, oh wow, get a load of this bitch.
- 1:08:03Speaker 3: Wow, He's something else.
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: And he goes, I didn't feel like I was interrupting you,
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: And you can't see how I'm reacting on the other
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: side of the wall, like I'm really intent and I'm
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: taking it in.
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: Yeah, right, you do.
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: We just saw you.
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: We just saw you. Did you forget we're going to
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: see all of this? What a buffoon?
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: And she goes, okay, yeah, so I just don't think.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: He goes that you're gonna get there, and she goes, yeah,
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: I just think my connections and he goes are stronger
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: with other people, and she goes, yeah, I just don't
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: think we're the right fit for each other, and he goes, okay, yeah,
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: that's fine. So he walks out and closes the door,
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: and she's still sitting there like, So she goes into
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: the lounge and cries, and she's like telling the girls like,
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: oh my god, like I felt like I was being
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: gas slating, and they're like, you absolutely did nothing wrong.
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: Like that guy, get him.
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: Out of here, right. Yeah.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: So, by the way, when he goes in, there's like,
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: well it's over with that girl who not. One of
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: the guys seems stunned. They all seemed like, yeah, I
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: remember we were hoping.
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: You can always tell by how the guys.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: Respond to a person if it's a good guy or
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: a bad guy.
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: Yep, always always all right.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: At the end of this episode, is Vic says he's
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: in awe of Christine, he's in love. He says a
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: lot of nice words. Christine says he's really great. She
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: says not a lot of nice words. They go in
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: to talk and she says, can we do a prayer?
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: And she does a prayer before he proposes, because again
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: it's on the last day, so they know people that
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: are getting engaged are getting engaged on this day. That's
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: why they wear their nicest outfit or whatever. Except for
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: ad Remember she wore that weird thing with the jeans
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: she did. Yeah, but look at her success story. Look
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: at her now she's killing him. So he proposes, She
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: says yes, he goes in. All the guys are so
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: happy for him, which means he's normal.
- 1:10:05Speaker 3: He's a normal guy.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: All the girls are happy for her, which means she's
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: not been a big bitch. Okay. Then we end the
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: episode with some girl with giant boobs name Melisa that
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: we've never seen before has some sort of screaming medical crisis.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: That's how the episode ends. Okay, Okay, so I have.
- 1:10:22Speaker 3: To go to the reveal because the reveal was this episode.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: Right, No, that's it. That's the end of episode one.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: Is Elisa getting the suck up stuff in her eye.
- 1:10:32Speaker 3: The girl I was on episode two. I thought we
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: were talking episode two or
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: Not there yet,
