- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Thank you for listening to us.
- 0:03Speaker 3: Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:04Speaker 4: Seacrest.
- 0:04Speaker 3: On air, on air, on air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Well, at 2.7, Kiss FM, good morning. We got more
- 0:12Speaker 2: of that heatness over the weekend. We endured it. And
- 0:16Speaker 2: we got it again today. Not quite as hot, but
- 0:18Speaker 2: still hot for this time of year. Good morning, everybody.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Good morning.
- 0:24Speaker 5: Good morning.
- 0:24Speaker 3: I'm ready to be done with the heat, though. I'm
- 0:28Speaker 3: done with it.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Until it gets cold.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Right.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Then when it gets cold.
- 0:31Speaker 3: I like it cold in the mornings. You get to
- 0:33Speaker 3: like put your heat seats, you know, the heater on.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Can I say heat seats? Is that what they're called?
- 0:38Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 0:39Speaker 2: They make my, they make me have to go potty
- 0:41Speaker 2: when I heat my car.
- 0:41Speaker 7: Really?
- 0:42Speaker 3: Oh no, I love it. And like on the steering wheel,
- 0:44Speaker 3: like I just like, I like that coldness in the morning.
- 0:46Speaker 2: I don't need it. Anyway, you'll get it. Some point.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Eventually.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Not today. Ronnie's going to be out with free gas.
- 0:53Speaker 2: He's in Huntington Beach this morning with the free gas. Hello,
- 0:57Speaker 2: back room. Good morning.
- 0:58Speaker 3: Good morning.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Michaela, were you excited to come in this morning and
- 1:01Speaker 2: see all of us? And what were you most excited
- 1:02Speaker 2: about for all of us to see with you?
- 1:04Speaker 5: I was so excited, and I just love every morning
- 1:07Speaker 5: with you guys.
- 1:08Speaker 2: I'll tell you, but I want you to prove it.
- 1:10Speaker 2: You need one of these sleep data machines. I am
- 1:14Speaker 2: a prove. I was so excited again, five hours and
- 1:16Speaker 2: five minutes of sleep. That's all. I was in bed
- 1:18Speaker 2: for nine, but only five Oh five of sleep time.
- 1:21Speaker 2: What does that tell you? I'm running a deficit and
- 1:24Speaker 2: I'm excited.
- 1:25Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:26Speaker 5: Like you couldn't sleep last night.
- 1:27Speaker 2: I couldn't sleep. So excited. Four hours. I guess I
- 1:32Speaker 2: tossed and turned. I know it was remarkable to me too.
- 1:34Speaker 5: He gets up, he goes to the bathroom.
- 1:36Speaker 2: I don't get up. I don't get up. I may
- 1:37Speaker 2: go to the bathroom, but I don't get up. I
- 1:39Speaker 2: just lay there and I roll around. And try and
- 1:41Speaker 2: go back to sleep.
- 1:42Speaker 3: You have to get up and go to the bathroom.
- 1:44Speaker 2: I get up just to go to the bathroom. I
- 1:46Speaker 2: don't get up and wander around aimlessly for a protein
- 1:48Speaker 2: bar or anything. I was excited.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Well, does Georgia jump into your bed at night?
- 1:55Speaker 2: No, she can't get up there at her age now.
- 1:57Speaker 3: No. Get her little stairs.
- 2:00Speaker 7: What?
- 2:00Speaker 3: You could get her stairs.
- 2:02Speaker 2: I can.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Yes. And they connect to your bed. Just like a
- 2:05Speaker 3: cushiony stairs.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Where do I get stairs for a bed for a dog?
- 2:07Speaker 9: Amazon. Amazon.
- 2:10Speaker 2: This is the reason I was so excited. I know.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Look at these life changing solutions. That's why I didn't sleep.
- 2:16Speaker 2: My body knew you were going to solve a problem
- 2:18Speaker 2: for me. So it laid awake for four hours going,
- 2:20Speaker 2: what's that going to be? What's it going to be?
- 2:21Speaker 2: What's it going to be? What's it going to be?
- 2:22Speaker 2: What's it going to be? Oh, coffee's good. I said
- 2:26Speaker 2: this to Tanya last week. You know, I'm open to
- 2:29Speaker 2: finding new ways to meet people. And you came in
- 2:32Speaker 2: with a great idea. The new trend of breakfast dates
- 2:34Speaker 2: on a Saturday morning. I loved it.
- 2:35Speaker 7: I loved it.
- 2:35Speaker 9: There's breakfast dates. There's the Rivet app. But then you
- 2:38Speaker 9: came in with the Rivet app. It was an embarrassment
- 2:40Speaker 9: of great ideas. She said, try the Rivet app where
- 2:43Speaker 9: you go on and you'll meet people. And then America
- 2:45Speaker 9: votes on if you're a match with other people on
- 2:48Speaker 9: the thing. I'm like, that sounds like something I'm either
- 2:50Speaker 9: going to get on or try and host. Now, Susan,
- 2:52Speaker 9: you have something else about meeting people?
- 2:53Speaker 6: Yes.
- 2:54Speaker 3: So this is actually a really cool tip. So I've
- 2:57Speaker 3: actually discovered this when we were at the iHeartRadio Music Festival.
- 3:00Speaker 3: I bumped into an old friend from like 12 years hadn't,
- 3:04Speaker 3: you know, communicated, didn't have her number, blah, blah, blah.
- 3:07Speaker 3: So we exchanged numbers and you know, when you exchange numbers,
- 3:10Speaker 3: you text the person usually. So then you have the
- 3:12Speaker 3: other person's contact.
- 3:13Speaker 2: No, I just put my phone up to theirs and
- 3:14Speaker 2: he goes, whoa, whoa. Okay. We didn't do the wall wall.
- 3:17Speaker 3: So she texts me and then she goes, let's take
- 3:20Speaker 3: a selfie. She's like, I always take a selfie. And
- 3:22Speaker 3: then I also text that. So then when you go back, like,
- 3:24Speaker 3: a day later, a few days later, and you have
- 3:26Speaker 3: this contact in there, instead of it saying like, Hey,
- 3:28Speaker 3: this is Jackie. It's like, Hey, this is Jackie. And
- 3:31Speaker 3: then there's a selfie of the.
- 3:32Speaker 5: Two of you.
- 3:32Speaker 3: So then you remember like, Oh yes, I met so-and-so then.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Does that download into the contacts?
- 3:37Speaker 3: No, it's just in your text.
- 3:38Speaker 2: But wait, can't you put it into your contacts so
- 3:40Speaker 2: that when you pull up that person, you'll see that selfie?
- 3:43Speaker 2: You could.
- 3:43Speaker 7: Yes. That's great.
- 3:44Speaker 6: I know.
- 3:44Speaker 3: I think it was so smart.
- 3:46Speaker 2: I have a tip for you. Do the long, long.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I do that sometimes.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Oh, it's fascinating.
- 3:52Speaker 3: I don't like the wah-wah.
- 3:53Speaker 7: You don't?
- 3:53Speaker 8: Why?
- 3:53Speaker 2: It's so cool.
- 3:54Speaker 5: I'm scared that my photos are going to get sent.
- 3:56Speaker 2: No, it's not. Don't you trust these tech companies?
- 3:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I trust them all.
- 4:01Speaker 2: All right, coming up.
- 4:04Speaker 6: Paranoid.
- 4:04Speaker 2: What's wrong with your pictures, by the way? What do
- 4:06Speaker 2: we need to not be sending?
- 4:07Speaker 3: She's like a naked picture person.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Are you a naked picture person?
- 4:11Speaker 3: Stop that.
- 4:12Speaker 10: I have stuff in my phone that just does not
- 4:15Speaker 10: need to be in some stranger's phone.
- 4:19Speaker 2: You don't need to be so paranoid about it. The
- 4:20Speaker 2: wah-wah is only doing a contact. That's just because remember
- 4:24Speaker 2: that time back in the day she sent everyone all
- 4:26Speaker 2: of her photos at the whole iHeartRadio staff?
- 4:28Speaker 3: I do remember that.
- 4:29Speaker 5: No, I didn't send them.
- 4:31Speaker 10: They got uploaded into Dropbox, wah-wah, and then that Dropbox
- 4:35Speaker 10: wasn't everybody's Dropbox computer, wah-wah.
- 4:37Speaker 3: That wasn't even a wah-wah, though. That was like you
- 4:39Speaker 3: clicked and said send.
- 4:41Speaker 2: But you were trying to put them in there so
- 4:42Speaker 2: we would find them.
- 4:43Speaker 4: No, I was not.
- 4:44Speaker 2: You were just wishing it upon us or something.
- 4:48Speaker 6: All right.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Got Dropbox banned, by the way, after that.
- 4:52Speaker 3: You know that?
- 4:52Speaker 2: She got banned from Dropbox. She did.
- 4:54Speaker 3: I remember that.
- 4:54Speaker 5: Our whole show did.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Didn't you have a crush on the IT guy at
- 4:57Speaker 3: the time?
- 4:57Speaker 11: Yes.
- 4:58Speaker 9: Drew?
- 4:58Speaker 3: That's what it was.
- 4:59Speaker 7: The founder, Drew?
- 5:00Speaker 5: Andy.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Andy. Oh, Andy, our IT guy.
- 5:03Speaker 3: Yes.
- 5:03Speaker 2: All right, listen. I got Jingle Ball tickets. Everybody wants
- 5:05Speaker 2: to go. They're next. Lots to do. Lots going on
- 5:08Speaker 2: this Monday, October 19th. Sunny and hot today again. Not
- 5:12Speaker 2: quite as hot, but hot. Bella, our intern at USC,
- 5:15Speaker 2: she went to Vegas for the first time over the weekend. Congratulations. Congratulations.
- 5:19Speaker 3: What a milestone. You are growing up.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Now, what was the intent for this first trip? What
- 5:25Speaker 2: were you guys trying to do?
- 5:27Speaker 11: Honestly, everything. It was like a big senior trip. So
- 5:30Speaker 11: a lot of seniors in college had to Vegas for
- 5:33Speaker 11: the weekend. So practically every senior from USC was there.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Now, you didn't come and ask for advice. I would
- 5:39Speaker 2: have told you a couple of things about your first
- 5:40Speaker 2: time in Vegas. One, pace yourself. OK, that's one. Two,
- 5:46Speaker 2: don't use those ATMs, the casinos that have a huge fee.
- 5:50Speaker 12: Oh, wait.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:51Speaker 13: Too late for that. They'll get you.
- 5:54Speaker 2: You didn't come in. You didn't come on Friday saying, hey,
- 5:55Speaker 2: I'm going to Vegas. Do you have any guidance? That's true.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Any worldly, worldly, worldly words?
- 6:01Speaker 7: No.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Well, what happened? So you went and was it good?
- 6:03Speaker 2: Was it successful? Were there any tragedies? No.
- 6:07Speaker 5: Well, not for me at least.
- 6:08Speaker 13: I won 50 bucks on roulette though.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:11Speaker 7: Get out.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Don't go back. When you're a winner, quit.
- 6:13Speaker 3: As soon as you win, you do have to cash out.
- 6:15Speaker 11: I knew when to quit. My friends did not. Someone
- 6:17Speaker 11: lost like 1500.
- 6:19Speaker 2: What's the hot club right now? Where'd you guys go?
- 6:21Speaker 13: We went to live, uh, fountain.
- 6:23Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 6:24Speaker 13: So I saw, I saw, um, they built that back.
- 6:29Speaker 13: That was a lot of fun.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Did you almost get a tattoo?
- 6:32Speaker 13: We, yeah, I wanted to get a tattoo now, but
- 6:35Speaker 13: I couldn't.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Why?
- 6:37Speaker 11: Well, so essentially, I wanted a tattoo of my last
- 6:41Speaker 11: name in my dad's handwriting. And so I sent him
- 6:43Speaker 11: a text over the weekend and was like, hey, can
- 6:45Speaker 11: you send me a picture of your, like, Graciano in
- 6:48Speaker 11: your handwriting? And he thought it was a scam. He
- 6:50Speaker 11: thought I was, like, scamming him for money. And I
- 6:52Speaker 11: had to convince him it wasn't.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Because you wanted his signature?
- 6:55Speaker 13: Yeah, I wanted a photo of it.
- 6:57Speaker 2: That's very clever of your dad.
- 6:58Speaker 13: But, like, I wanted to surprise him.
- 7:00Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 7:00Speaker 9: I mean.
- 7:01Speaker 2: The thing is, there are tattoo parlors everywhere. Why was
- 7:05Speaker 2: it the right time during this precious, coveted time in
- 7:09Speaker 2: Las Vegas to have to get the tattoo? Why then?
- 7:11Speaker 2: Why there?
- 7:11Speaker 11: Because I feel like you just do something fun or
- 7:15Speaker 11: adventurous in Vegas.
- 7:17Speaker 13: And I feel like that was my halfway. It was like, oh, fun.
- 7:20Speaker 13: I'm going to get a tattoo, but I'm going to
- 7:21Speaker 13: be intentional with it.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Here's what we in the past have tried to do
- 7:26Speaker 2: when we leave Las Vegas. Get home without falling apart
- 7:31Speaker 2: the next morning in the car or on the flight.
- 7:33Speaker 6: It's true.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Because Cisney will run some pain on a Sunday morning. Oh, man.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Her pain threshold after a Vegas weekend is high.
- 7:40Speaker 3: I'll still be in the club at like 520 and
- 7:43Speaker 3: my flight leaves at 8. So I'll just be like,
- 7:46Speaker 3: I got to get out of here.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Yeah, next time you go to Vegas, don't pick me.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Don't pick Tanya for sure.
- 7:52Speaker 7: For sure, dude.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Well, don't pick either of us for sure. She's the one.
- 7:58Speaker 2: She will show you a good time.
- 7:59Speaker 13: We'll plan something.
- 8:00Speaker 2: You're all grown up. There it is. That's it. One
- 8:02Speaker 2: of the rites of passage. Vegas. A debut in Vegas.
- 8:05Speaker 2: And almost a tattoo of your dad's handwriting.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Isn't it weird?
- 8:11Speaker 2: All right, coming next. The easiest way to get all
- 8:13Speaker 2: the guts out of your pumpkin. Meet your quotes of
- 8:15Speaker 2: the day. Also, if you're getting your pumpkin this week,
- 8:19Speaker 2: this is an easy way to get the stuff out.
- 8:21Speaker 2: You know, when you carve a pumpkin. Instead of the
- 8:23Speaker 2: spoon when you scoop.
- 8:25Speaker 8: Right.
- 8:25Speaker 2: It's kind of a drag. Use an electric mixer. Put
- 8:30Speaker 2: the beaters on in there. Oh, that's genius. Run the
- 8:34Speaker 2: mixer on low. That stuff comes right down into a
- 8:36Speaker 2: big pie. Take it out.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Done.
- 8:39Speaker 2: I love that.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Yeah, so smart.
- 8:42Speaker 2: I mean, we've been here 22 years, and I just
- 8:43Speaker 2: found that. All right, today's quote. Just remember, someone loves
- 8:48Speaker 2: all the things you dislike about yourself.
- 8:51Speaker 5: Oh, that's really sweet.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Such a great idea. Actually, if you want to be romantic,
- 8:55Speaker 2: write that down and come up with your own version
- 8:57Speaker 2: of that and say it to somebody later today.
- 8:59Speaker 7: You get me.
- 9:00Speaker 2: I got you. Yeah, and don't credit me. You take it.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Got a Ryan's Roses call after 7 o'clock here. Sissany,
- 9:07Speaker 2: first headlines. Kiss FM headlines with Sissany.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Well, power is back on for all SoCal Edison customers
- 9:14Speaker 3: whose electricity was turned off due to the red flag warning.
- 9:18Speaker 3: All evacuation orders and warnings have been lifted in Malibu
- 9:21Speaker 3: as the Bryson fire is up to 74% containment. A
- 9:25Speaker 3: Super Lotto Plus ticket was sold at a 7-Eleven store
- 9:28Speaker 3: on Magnolia Avenue in Anaheim worth an estimated $ 64 million.
- 9:32Speaker 3: And the Victoria's Secret fashion show returned to L.A. last
- 9:36Speaker 3: night for the first time since 2007 with performances from
- 9:39Speaker 3: Cat's Eye, Tate McRae, and Megan Thee Stallion.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Ryan's Rose is 740. Paying a bill next. This Rose
- 9:46Speaker 2: is basically she was traveling for work. He sent a
- 9:51Speaker 2: cropped picture of the dog, a cropped photo. Smoke, smoke, smoke.
- 9:56Speaker 7: Right.
- 9:56Speaker 2: First, Ronnie is out in Huntington Beach. this morning with
- 10:00Speaker 2: Free Gas. Good morning, Ronnie. How was your weekend?
- 10:03Speaker 7: Good morning.
- 10:03Speaker 12: It was so good.
- 10:04Speaker 1: How was yours?
- 10:05Speaker 8: Great.
- 10:05Speaker 2: Thank you for checking and asking. Had a lovely weekend,
- 10:08Speaker 2: beating the heat. You're out in Huntington Beach, and you've
- 10:11Speaker 2: got Free Gas, so let's give it away.
- 10:14Speaker 6: Sure do.
- 10:15Speaker 12: Let me see, because I don't know if he's trying
- 10:16Speaker 12: to go... There's some people inside. So let me just
- 10:20Speaker 12: wait a second for them to come out really quick.
- 10:22Speaker 12: I don't know if they're trying to pay inside. Well,
- 10:24Speaker 12: I'll fill the gap here.
- 10:28Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 10:29Speaker 12: You know how they call Long Beach the LBC?
- 10:31Speaker 7: Do they call Huntington Beach HBC?
- 10:34Speaker 1: No.
- 10:34Speaker 3: They don't do that.
- 10:36Speaker 2: That's a great question. It's fine to ask. But the
- 10:39Speaker 2: answer is a consensus is no.
- 10:41Speaker 4: No.
- 10:42Speaker 12: I was just curious.
- 10:43Speaker 7: Oh, here he comes right here.
- 10:45Speaker 3: You can just call it Huntington. You don't even say beach.
- 10:46Speaker 12: Yeah. How are you, sir?
- 10:48Speaker 7: Oh, you see our van right here.
- 10:50Speaker 12: My name is Ronnie. I'm with Kiss FM, and we'd
- 10:52Speaker 12: love to fill up your gas tank this morning.
- 10:54Speaker 7: That's crazy.
- 10:55Speaker 12: I have Ryan Seacrest on the phone right now.
- 10:57Speaker 7: He wants to talk to you.
- 10:58Speaker 12: What up, Ryan?
- 10:59Speaker 7: How you doing, man?
- 11:01Speaker 1: What's up, buddy?
- 11:02Speaker 6: I've been listening to your show for like ever, dude,
- 11:04Speaker 6: but this feels like it's a scam or it's like unreal.
- 11:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:08Speaker 7: I'm kind of like nervous right now.
- 11:10Speaker 2: That's awesome, bro. Well, thank you for listening all those years.
- 11:13Speaker 2: What's your name?
- 11:14Speaker 7: My name is Alpine. Alpine.
- 11:16Speaker 2: My name is Ryan. Great to meet you.
- 11:18Speaker 7: Hey, Ryan.
- 11:18Speaker 6: Dude, man, this is unreal, dude. I see the band
- 11:22Speaker 6: out here, man. Thank you so much.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure. That's Ronnie. He works with us on
- 11:26Speaker 2: the morning show. You're on the air. Got Sissy and
- 11:28Speaker 2: Tanya here with us.
- 11:29Speaker 9: Hey.
- 11:29Speaker 7: Hey, what's up, everybody?
- 11:31Speaker 3: What's up?
- 11:32Speaker 2: We are going to fill that tank of gas up
- 11:34Speaker 2: for you, Alpine. You're on your way.
- 11:37Speaker 6: Gas is expensive as heck right now, so thank you.
- 11:40Speaker 2: That's why we're there. That's the whole reason for Ronnie
- 11:43Speaker 2: being there, bro. You got it. Thanks for listening to us, Alpine.
- 11:47Speaker 1: For sure.
- 11:49Speaker 12: Hello.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Ronnie, your work is unparalleled. Thank you.
- 11:52Speaker 6: All right.
- 11:53Speaker 12: I'll talk to you guys later.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Bye, Ronnie. Paying a bill next. 102.7 Kiss FM. Hey,
- 11:58Speaker 2: Devin in Agoura Hills. Good morning.
- 12:00Speaker 7: How are you? I'm doing all right. How about yourself?
- 12:03Speaker 2: I'm good, brother. So happy Halloween. And it looks like
- 12:07Speaker 2: you have a date on Halloween night. I like it.
- 12:10Speaker 2: What's going on? How can I help?
- 12:12Speaker 4: Yes, well, I matched with this girl on Hinge about
- 12:15Speaker 4: a week ago, and we've been talking pretty much every day,
- 12:18Speaker 4: and we finally decided to go on our first date,
- 12:21Speaker 4: you know, this weekend, and then, of course, Halloween weekend, right?
- 12:24Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 12:26Speaker 4: The problem is I can't decide if my idea for
- 12:29Speaker 4: the date is a good one. She told me that
- 12:32Speaker 4: she goes to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal every year, and,
- 12:35Speaker 4: you know, she loves scary movies and is basically obsessed
- 12:38Speaker 4: with Halloween. So I thought, why not take her to
- 12:40Speaker 4: a haunted house?
- 12:41Speaker 9: Brilliant.
- 12:43Speaker 7: You're right. Thank you. Thank you.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Right.
- 12:44Speaker 4: And I found one, you know.
- 12:45Speaker 7: That's supposed to be really scary.
- 12:48Speaker 4: And I thought it could actually be a fun first
- 12:50Speaker 4: date and we'd have something to do. And then we'd
- 12:53Speaker 4: have plenty to talk about afterwards. But, you know, then
- 12:56Speaker 4: my friend told me a haunted house is a terrible
- 12:58Speaker 4: first date because you're basically trapped together in the dark
- 13:01Speaker 4: while strangers are screaming at you and all that.
- 13:03Speaker 7: So now I'm wondering if I'm overthinking this. Yeah.
- 13:07Speaker 4: She literally told me, you know, she literally told me
- 13:09Speaker 4: that she loves scary stuff.
- 13:11Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 13:11Speaker 7: Right. So I feel like she'd have fun.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Let me give you my feedback, Devin. I appreciate you
- 13:15Speaker 2: reaching out. Do not overthink this. Show and carry out
- 13:20Speaker 2: confidence in your decision to make this the first date.
- 13:23Speaker 2: I like it. She dropped the hint. She told you
- 13:26Speaker 2: she loves haunted houses. That's basically saying, hey, Devin, take
- 13:29Speaker 2: me to one. So now you've done it. Don't second
- 13:32Speaker 2: guess it. And here's why I like the haunted house.
- 13:37Speaker 2: It's an icebreaker. You break the ice. She may grab
- 13:40Speaker 2: your arm. You may jump in front of her. I
- 13:42Speaker 2: don't know, but it breaks ice. So you got the
- 13:45Speaker 2: pregame of the lead up talking about haunted houses and
- 13:49Speaker 2: the vulnerability of them. You got the icebreaker during, and
- 13:51Speaker 2: then you got the post, you got the postmortem where
- 13:54Speaker 2: you're going to have some good laughs about what happened
- 13:56Speaker 2: in the haunted house. So for me, this is a
- 13:59Speaker 2: great idea with many layers and little pressure, bro.
- 14:04Speaker 7: Thank you. I'd never even thought about that. That's a
- 14:06Speaker 7: really great point.
- 14:07Speaker 3: But you know what? It depends on the haunted house.
- 14:10Speaker 5: It doesn't.
- 14:11Speaker 3: It does, because there's some where they can touch you
- 14:13Speaker 3: and jump at you and you feel things.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Better, great, good, fine.
- 14:16Speaker 3: I don't know about all that.
- 14:18Speaker 10: She did say she likes all that stuff, so I
- 14:20Speaker 10: do feel like it's a good idea. However, don't be
- 14:22Speaker 10: a Ryan Seacrest and push her in front of you.
- 14:25Speaker 2: I don't push anyone. I just go behind.
- 14:28Speaker 3: I'm just saying, any haunted house where you have to
- 14:30Speaker 3: sign a waiver, I would probably not do for a
- 14:32Speaker 3: first date.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Devin, own your decision. Own your decision and let us
- 14:36Speaker 2: know what goes. Happy Halloween.
- 14:38Speaker 7: Absolutely. Thank you so much, brother. Have a great day, okay?
- 14:41Speaker 2: You too, buddy. Take care.
- 14:42Speaker 7: Bye-bye. Bye-bye.
- 14:44Speaker 2: I like the vulnerability in it. I like that it
- 14:46Speaker 2: gives you an activity as well. I like that it's
- 14:48Speaker 2: at night, generally, right? I guess you go out in
- 14:50Speaker 2: the day, but at night. All right, it's Kiss FM.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Ryan's Rose is coming up and sold out Jingle Ball
- 14:55Speaker 2: tickets next. Kiss FM, and it's time for Ryan's Roses.
- 15:01Speaker 2: All right, I have photo evidence here. You see it?
- 15:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:07Speaker 6: So.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Wow, this is interesting because I think Tanya last week
- 15:10Speaker 2: did a story about an actor whose naked reflection was
- 15:14Speaker 2: in a window. He took a picture, posted it, and
- 15:16Speaker 2: then took it down.
- 15:17Speaker 5: Tom Welling.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Tom Welling. Smartsville. Cindy is on the line right now.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Same thing happened to her.
- 15:23Speaker 3: Smallville.
- 15:24Speaker 2: I know. Cindy, good morning, and thank you for reaching
- 15:28Speaker 2: out to us. So you were traveling for work. He
- 15:31Speaker 2: sent you a cropped picture of your dog to basically say, hey,
- 15:34Speaker 2: things are normal, but they weren't. What did you find
- 15:37Speaker 2: in that picture?
- 15:39Speaker 1: So I was at this conference in San Francisco and
- 15:43Speaker 1: I always miss our dog so much. So he sent
- 15:45Speaker 1: me this picture of our dog, Molly. And yeah, it
- 15:47Speaker 1: was cropped very weird. Like it was not a normal size.
- 15:51Speaker 1: And so I did the like revert to original and
- 15:54Speaker 1: there like right behind our dog in the TV reflection,
- 15:58Speaker 1: I could see a woman sitting on the couch.
- 16:02Speaker 2: And could you make the woman out? Could you recognize
- 16:04Speaker 2: the woman? What did she look like? What was she wearing?
- 16:08Speaker 1: She had like a long brown hair and was wearing
- 16:10Speaker 1: like a white top. And so I like FaceTimed him immediately.
- 16:15Speaker 1: And he was just like, no, it's like I'm totally alone.
- 16:18Speaker 1: I don't know what you're talking about. And I was like,
- 16:21Speaker 1: look at the photo that you sent me. And he
- 16:24Speaker 1: was like, oh, that's so weird. Maybe it's a ghost.
- 16:28Speaker 2: OK, well, first of all, that makes no sense. I'm
- 16:30Speaker 2: looking at it now. You sent it to us. Thank you.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Well, I was kind of thinking it could be a ghost, too.
- 16:34Speaker 2: It's not a ghost with brunette hair to shoulder length
- 16:37Speaker 2: and a white top, this short sleeve, tucked in with
- 16:39Speaker 2: blue jeans. I mean, it's just not.
- 16:41Speaker 3: I mean, it is weird that he cropped the photo
- 16:42Speaker 3: to begin with.
- 16:44Speaker 2: So what is she doing? She looks like she's just
- 16:45Speaker 2: standing there, right? In the reflection?
- 16:49Speaker 1: Like sitting, sitting, I think, on the couch. Because there
- 16:52Speaker 1: are couches that go across from the TV like that.
- 16:54Speaker 2: All right, well, you guys are gamers. I'm looking at
- 16:57Speaker 2: the games on the shelf there. Zingo and illustrations, charades.
- 17:02Speaker 2: I know, but they got a lot of games on
- 17:03Speaker 2: the keyboard. All right, listen, Cindy, we are going to
- 17:06Speaker 2: make a call to your husband so we can find
- 17:07Speaker 2: out next, okay?
- 17:09Speaker 1: Okay.
- 17:10Speaker 2: This is Kiss. You're welcome. 102.7, Kiss FM. It's time
- 17:16Speaker 2: for the call, Ryan's Roses. I mean, he is lying.
- 17:20Speaker 2: We know that going in. I'll tell you how we
- 17:21Speaker 2: know that.
- 17:22Speaker 8: Why? How?
- 17:22Speaker 2: Well, what is it? What's the story? I'll tell you.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Cindy reached out. Her husband sent a photo like, hey,
- 17:28Speaker 2: look at our dog. Everything's good at home. The photo
- 17:31Speaker 2: was cropped. And then she examines the photo in the
- 17:35Speaker 2: reflection of the dark TV screen. There's a woman standing
- 17:38Speaker 2: there with brunette hair, brown hair, just below his shoulder length,
- 17:43Speaker 2: white t-shirt on clear as day. I can see it.
- 17:45Speaker 7: You see it.
- 17:46Speaker 2: I see it.
- 17:47Speaker 5: I see it.
- 17:48Speaker 2: She asked him about it. And he says, what are
- 17:49Speaker 2: you talking about? A ghost?
- 17:51Speaker 12: I mean, come on.
- 17:53Speaker 7: Ghost doesn't dress like that.
- 17:54Speaker 3: It looks kind of ghosty.
- 17:56Speaker 2: No, it's a person. It's clear to me as a person, Cindy.
- 18:00Speaker 2: I don't need much more. I just need you to say, Ryan,
- 18:03Speaker 2: you have my permission to call and then his name.
- 18:05Speaker 2: Go ahead.
- 18:07Speaker 1: You have my permission to call.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Good luck as a last resort public service. Let's see
- 18:13Speaker 2: if we can find out what's going on. Who was
- 18:16Speaker 2: in your house while you were away on a work trip?
- 18:19Speaker 2: Why is he lying about it? Sus.
- 18:32Speaker 12: Hello?
- 18:33Speaker 3: Hi, can I speak to David, please?
- 18:37Speaker 7: Yes.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Hi, David.
- 18:39Speaker 3: My name is Quinn. I'm calling from Sweet Blooms. How
- 18:41Speaker 3: are you doing this morning?
- 18:44Speaker 7: I'm sorry. Where did you say you were calling from?
- 18:46Speaker 3: Sweet Blooms. We deliver here locally in surrounding areas, and
- 18:48Speaker 3: we're offering a free promotion today. So the way this works,
- 18:51Speaker 3: it's a dozen red roses that you can send to
- 18:53Speaker 3: anybody that you like.
- 18:57Speaker 6: Oh, wow.
- 18:58Speaker 7: Okay. Hold on. I think I heard something like this
- 19:01Speaker 7: on the radio once.
- 19:03Speaker 12: No.
- 19:03Speaker 3: So these are, they're absolutely free. I don't need any
- 19:06Speaker 3: info from you. I don't need cash. This is not
- 19:09Speaker 3: a subscription. They're truly beautiful arrangements that we do. And
- 19:13Speaker 3: we do this promotion about once a month. So is
- 19:16Speaker 3: there anybody you want to send free flowers to?
- 19:18Speaker 7: Wait, hold on. You haven't heard?
- 19:19Speaker 8: There's like this thing on the radio where they send
- 19:21Speaker 8: roses to guys to see if they're cheating on their wives.
- 19:24Speaker 7: Have you heard about that?
- 19:25Speaker 1: Never.
- 19:27Speaker 3: Is there anybody you'd want to send the flowers to?
- 19:31Speaker 8: I mean, I guess I better play it safe just
- 19:32Speaker 8: in case, right? I'll send it to my wife just
- 19:35Speaker 8: in case you guys are trying to bust me, right?
- 19:37Speaker 6: Okay.
- 19:37Speaker 3: What's your wife's name?
- 19:40Speaker 7: Cindy.
- 19:42Speaker 3: And what do you want to put on the card
- 19:43Speaker 3: for Cindy?
- 19:46Speaker 7: Just put to my angel, love your daughter.
- 19:53Speaker 2: David, your voice is being broadcast on the radio. This
- 19:56Speaker 2: is that. Ryan's roses. You did. I agree with you.
- 20:03Speaker 7: Yeah, you're the guy. You're the guy. What's your name?
- 20:06Speaker 2: My name is Ryan.
- 20:08Speaker 7: Yes, Ryan. Yes, Seacrest.
- 20:10Speaker 8: Yes, I knew it.
- 20:13Speaker 2: I'm here with your wife, Cindy, to address something specific.
- 20:19Speaker 11: Hi.
- 20:20Speaker 2: So, Dave, the reason we're calling is she sent me
- 20:24Speaker 2: the photo. So I'm looking at this photo. You sent her, well,
- 20:28Speaker 2: there was a work trip. You sent a photo from
- 20:30Speaker 2: back home. Hey, everything's cool. There's the dog. You cropped
- 20:33Speaker 2: the photo. And then in the photo, when I zoom
- 20:35Speaker 2: in on the dark TV screen, I see a woman
- 20:38Speaker 2: with long brown hair and a white t-shirt in the reflection.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Have you seen this?
- 20:44Speaker 7: Yeah, that was crazy.
- 20:46Speaker 8: Like that, like I, like I've never been like.
- 20:49Speaker 7: A ghost guy before, but like, that was crazy.
- 20:52Speaker 2: I don't think it's a ghost, bro. It's not a ghost.
- 20:56Speaker 5: Yeah, it's really not.
- 20:58Speaker 8: No, like I was home alone. And like, I literally
- 21:01Speaker 8: like after that, I was like Googling like, yo, did
- 21:03Speaker 8: someone die in our house? Like, And she's got like
- 21:07Speaker 8: old timey clothes on too.
- 21:08Speaker 2: No, she doesn't.
- 21:09Speaker 7: Like it's crazy.
- 21:10Speaker 2: No, no, no, she doesn't. No, it's not a ghost.
- 21:14Speaker 2: It's not a ghost. I can tell it's not a ghost.
- 21:16Speaker 2: So David, just be honest with your wife. Who was over?
- 21:21Speaker 7: No, no one. Look at, we have a ring camera.
- 21:23Speaker 7: Like you can go back and check it. Like there
- 21:25Speaker 7: was no one there. Like no one, like go check
- 21:28Speaker 7: the camera.
- 21:30Speaker 6: I did.
- 21:30Speaker 1: You didn't pay the subscription. And so it didn't record anything.
- 21:33Speaker 7: Hmm. No, I thought it was on auto pay.
- 21:37Speaker 2: David, you're, we, come on, we, please. We're professionals. What happened?
- 21:43Speaker 2: Who was there? Why are you lying? Why are you
- 21:45Speaker 2: trying to cover it up?
- 21:45Speaker 3: Yeah, just come clean.
- 21:47Speaker 7: I'm just, look, I'm telling you, like, I don't know
- 21:50Speaker 7: what that is. Like, I, I'm a believer now. I'm
- 21:54Speaker 7: a believer.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Why did you crop the photo to begin with? Why
- 21:58Speaker 1: did you even crop it?
- 22:00Speaker 7: Because the dog's face is cute.
- 22:02Speaker 8: Just, like, look at the cute dog's face.
- 22:04Speaker 12: Look at that cute dog.
- 22:07Speaker 1: No, you cropped out this other woman because you didn't
- 22:09Speaker 1: know that I could uncroft it.
- 22:13Speaker 7: That is not true. I just was like, hey, this
- 22:15Speaker 7: is a cute pup-o, and, like, look at the dog. Like,
- 22:18Speaker 7: you know what I mean? Like, why would I give
- 22:19Speaker 7: you this giant extra stuff?
- 22:22Speaker 2: Look, guys, I don't know what's happening, but we're going
- 22:24Speaker 2: in circles. I don't believe David.
- 22:26Speaker 3: I don't know him.
- 22:26Speaker 2: I don't believe him. I think there's a legit issue here.
- 22:28Speaker 2: I can see the woman clear his day. It's not
- 22:30Speaker 2: a ghost. Cindy, you need to get to the bottom
- 22:32Speaker 2: of it. Thank you very much for reaching out, okay?
- 22:34Speaker 2: Thank you. Good luck to you.
- 22:37Speaker 9: Thanks.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Good job, Sisany. He called you out, but good job
- 22:42Speaker 2: with Grizzly there.
- 22:43Speaker 3: Yeah, we're just like skirt, skirt, skirt. Calm, cool, and
- 22:45Speaker 3: collected over here.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Grizzly, Ryan's Rose is right there.
- 22:48Speaker 7: Kiss FM. On air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 22:54Speaker 2: She will be at our sold-out Jingle Ball 102.7. Kiss FM.
- 23:00Speaker 2: You know, we should look up how many songs with
- 23:03Speaker 2: the artists that are at Jingle Ball has Ryan Tedder,
- 23:05Speaker 2: who's performing at Jingle Ball with OneRepublic, how many has
- 23:07Speaker 2: he produced? I bet he's produced some of the artists
- 23:09Speaker 2: that are there.
- 23:09Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Who wants that assignment in the back room?
- 23:13Speaker 3: He was just walking out. Nobody.
- 23:16Speaker 2: Michaela, can you do that? Do a little Claude. Okay,
- 23:20Speaker 2: I got it.
- 23:21Speaker 1: All right.
- 23:21Speaker 2: Ronnie is on the streets of Huntington Beach this morning
- 23:24Speaker 2: with free gas.
- 23:26Speaker 7: Ronnie? Good morning.
- 23:28Speaker 12: I had to already come up to this guy right
- 23:30Speaker 12: here because he was already filling up. I said, can
- 23:32Speaker 12: you cancel it? We'd love to fill up your gas tank.
- 23:36Speaker 12: So I'm going to give you Ryan Seacrest. He's on
- 23:38Speaker 12: the phone right now. He'd love to speak to you.
- 23:40Speaker 12: Ryan Seacrest?
- 23:40Speaker 8: Yes.
- 23:41Speaker 7: You're joking.
- 23:42Speaker 3: It's him.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Hello.
- 23:44Speaker 2: Hey, what's up? It's Ryan. What's your name?
- 23:46Speaker 7: Chris Kanan.
- 23:48Speaker 2: Chris Kanan, Ryan Seacrest on Kiss FM with you. How
- 23:51Speaker 2: are you, buddy? I'm good.
- 23:53Speaker 1: I'm good.
- 23:54Speaker 7: Happy Monday, Ryan.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Thank you. I appreciate you being there with us. That's Ronnie.
- 23:59Speaker 2: So what we are doing basically is with the gas. Stupid, right?
- 24:03Speaker 2: The prices. We're just sending Ronnie out to different places
- 24:05Speaker 2: every week to give away free gas. And you're the
- 24:07Speaker 2: lucky one right now.
- 24:09Speaker 12: Oh, my gosh.
- 24:10Speaker 7: That's awesome. I appreciate you guys.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Totally, bro. What are you up to this morning?
- 24:16Speaker 12: I am actually heading.
- 24:17Speaker 7: Up to Redondo beach.
- 24:20Speaker 1: I live in San Diego though.
- 24:22Speaker 7: So yeah.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Oh, that's not a small, you definitely need to take
- 24:25Speaker 2: a gas then. I do.
- 24:27Speaker 6: I do.
- 24:28Speaker 2: And also my mortgage is a little high, Ryan.
- 24:30Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 24:30Speaker 2: I'm kidding. I'm kidding.
- 24:33Speaker 3: I'm kidding.
- 24:34Speaker 2: We do pay bills. Yes, you are correct. You got
- 24:36Speaker 2: the right guy. All right. Listen, Chris Kanan, thank you
- 24:39Speaker 2: so much for having us on and good luck with
- 24:41Speaker 2: your drive to Redondo today. You take good care.
- 24:43Speaker 7: Okay. All right.
- 24:45Speaker 6: You too.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 24:46Speaker 8: Okay, bro.
- 24:47Speaker 7: Well, that's cool.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Ronnie, I'm having the best time just listening to you
- 24:53Speaker 2: find the people.
- 24:57Speaker 12: We, you see, we've gotten in a good rhythm now.
- 25:00Speaker 12: Like people don't really think I'm trying to scam them anymore. Good.
- 25:03Speaker 2: It was just a matter of time, you know?
- 25:06Speaker 7: Yeah, so now I'm happy people are getting the hang
- 25:09Speaker 7: of it.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Yeah, nothing's changed about his delivery. He is Ronnie, and
- 25:12Speaker 2: he is here to fill your tank. We'll talk to
- 25:13Speaker 2: you in a little bit, Ronnie. Chris, kissfm.com slash bills.
- 25:17Speaker 2: That's what you got to do to get your bills paid.
- 25:19Speaker 2: We'll do it next. Kiss FM, that's where we are.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Thanks for streaming. Seacrest with you. Sissany and Tanya, we
- 25:26Speaker 2: got the back room. So, yeah, not a great weekend
- 25:30Speaker 2: for our NFL teams. The Rams lost at home. To Arizona,
- 25:35Speaker 2: they fall to 2-4, and the Chargers got beat. Chiefs.
- 25:41Speaker 2: So what are they?
- 25:41Speaker 7: 0-6.
- 25:42Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 25:43Speaker 3: 0-6. You know what? We're not proud at this point.
- 25:47Speaker 2: Well, they will not lose next week because it is
- 25:50Speaker 2: a bye.
- 25:50Speaker 3: It is a bye week.
- 25:51Speaker 9: You're right.
- 25:51Speaker 5: You can only go up from when you're down.
- 25:53Speaker 3: You know what?
- 25:54Speaker 2: You're right.
- 25:54Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 25:55Speaker 2: My Bulldogs lost to Auburn in an upset. I texted
- 26:00Speaker 2: my boys and I said, guys, why is it that
- 26:04Speaker 2: I viscerally get, I am upset. Like I'm literally upset.
- 26:08Speaker 2: Like I had anything to do with it. Like I
- 26:11Speaker 2: have any responsibility to it. But when your team that
- 26:15Speaker 2: you are connected to loses, it is a visceral response.
- 26:18Speaker 2: I was not thrilled.
- 26:20Speaker 5: But you know what it shows?
- 26:21Speaker 2: What does it show?
- 26:22Speaker 5: It shows that you deeply care.
- 26:24Speaker 2: It shows I have a heart.
- 26:25Speaker 5: And life is about caring. If you didn't care about anything,
- 26:28Speaker 5: what would you be doing? You'd just be.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Look at Professor Profound over here. Only a way from
- 26:33Speaker 2: up is good or back up or down is up.
- 26:36Speaker 2: And then people care. That's what you want. That is
- 26:38Speaker 2: Professor Profound.
- 26:40Speaker 5: I mean, maybe it's the artist's way.
- 26:41Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 26:42Speaker 5: The book I'm doing.
- 26:42Speaker 3: I would like the Chargers to have a win eventually. Yeah,
- 26:45Speaker 3: it'd be nice.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Oh, the goose egg is not what we're in it for.
- 26:48Speaker 7: It's not.
- 26:49Speaker 2: I posted the Catalina trip. I got to tell you,
- 26:51Speaker 2: you get out there on that express and you have
- 26:53Speaker 2: a nice day and you can just take your time
- 26:56Speaker 2: and explore. It is beautiful. I did the bike ride
- 26:58Speaker 2: I was telling you about and caught a fish. I
- 27:02Speaker 2: grew up in a place where in the summertime, my
- 27:06Speaker 2: dad and I would do a deep sea fish. Wow.
- 27:08Speaker 2: Every five years.
- 27:10Speaker 3: Okay.
- 27:10Speaker 2: So it wasn't a standard.
- 27:11Speaker 3: That's like me with camping.
- 27:13Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 27:13Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 27:14Speaker 3: Every five years.
- 27:15Speaker 2: But we did a fish. Me and my guys. And
- 27:19Speaker 2: I caught a marlin, a striped marlin. It's a catch-release program.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Whether you reel it in for 25 minutes, it's 189
- 27:25Speaker 2: pounds or something.
- 27:26Speaker 7: Maybe 120.
- 27:26Speaker 2: Your fish? Probably like 20 pounds.
- 27:29Speaker 3: No, no, it was big.
- 27:32Speaker 2: It was big. It took me 25 minutes to reel.
- 27:34Speaker 2: It was 150 pounds. It was one. Mark, didn't you
- 27:37Speaker 2: see the post? You can't really see the fish itself.
- 27:39Speaker 2: I saw the post, too, and you cannot see the fish.
- 27:41Speaker 3: That's the problem.
- 27:41Speaker 2: With catch-and-release, let me tell you about catch-and-release. You get
- 27:44Speaker 2: a big one. I had a big one on the line.
- 27:46Speaker 2: And I reeled it in for 25 minutes. I was exhausted.
- 27:49Speaker 10: With catch and release, you can still catch like really
- 27:51Speaker 10: small fish as well.
- 27:52Speaker 2: This was massive. Almost brought the boat down.
- 27:55Speaker 1: And I.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Couldn't see it because we had to let it go
- 27:59Speaker 2: when it got close. So I know it was in there.
- 28:02Speaker 2: I know it was down there.
- 28:03Speaker 3: It was like a boot.
- 28:05Speaker 2: No, it was not a boot.
- 28:05Speaker 3: It was fighting.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Because it was taking the line. It was pulling and
- 28:08Speaker 2: taking the line.
- 28:09Speaker 3: Okay, I've seen this now.
- 28:11Speaker 2: I don't spend time. I don't spend time with guys.
- 28:15Speaker 2: I just don't.
- 28:16Speaker 12: I did.
- 28:16Speaker 7: I know.
- 28:16Speaker 2: Maybe you should more.
- 28:17Speaker 10: Cause I feel like there was something in you that
- 28:19Speaker 10: like was through your post, through your carousel.
- 28:22Speaker 5: I did feel like you were invigorated. Like I felt, yeah,
- 28:25Speaker 5: I felt the energy.
- 28:26Speaker 2: I'm not the guy that looks forward to hanging out
- 28:28Speaker 2: with the guys. I'm not that guy.
- 28:30Speaker 5: Maybe you are that guy.
- 28:31Speaker 2: Maybe I am.
- 28:32Speaker 3: This fish is like 15 inches long.
- 28:34Speaker 2: No, it's a massive fish.
- 28:35Speaker 7: It's a Marlin.
- 28:35Speaker 3: It's a huge Marlin.
- 28:36Speaker 2: It's a huge Marlin. Obviously pictures not to scale. Zoom
- 28:41Speaker 2: it out.
- 28:41Speaker 3: It's a video.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Uh, but no, we had an electric skillet. We had
- 28:46Speaker 2: a barbecue on the back of this little boat, fishing boat.
- 28:49Speaker 2: And we had a time. I mean, it was actually,
- 28:51Speaker 2: I may spend more time with dudes.
- 28:54Speaker 3: Who are these guys?
- 28:55Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 28:55Speaker 3: Who are the guys?
- 28:56Speaker 2: My guys.
- 28:57Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 28:57Speaker 3: You see, you keep saying that.
- 28:58Speaker 6: I got guys.
- 28:59Speaker 3: They got names.
- 29:00Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 29:03Speaker 2: That was Ted and Matt.
- 29:04Speaker 3: Ted and Matt.
- 29:05Speaker 7: Ted and Matt.
- 29:06Speaker 5: Trusty Ted.
- 29:07Speaker 2: Mike ride in the morning, make peanut butter sandwiches on
- 29:09Speaker 2: our backpacks. I got to tell you, Southern California, our
- 29:12Speaker 2: own town in our backyard. You got to explore it.
- 29:15Speaker 2: You really do.
- 29:16Speaker 7: All right.
- 29:17Speaker 2: It's coming up. We've got tickets to our Jingle Ball
- 29:19Speaker 2: presented by Capital One. That is next. It's kids.
- 29:21Speaker 7: All right.
- 29:22Speaker 2: I still almost have a wreck every time I see
- 29:24Speaker 2: one of those Waymos or these Waymo vans. Like that's
- 29:27Speaker 2: fascinating to me too. These are the autopilot vehicles. And
- 29:31Speaker 2: then what I do is I try and also assess
- 29:33Speaker 2: the person who's taken the risk in my mind of
- 29:36Speaker 2: being in a car without a person. They look happy.
- 29:38Speaker 2: They look fine. They look content. Most of them in
- 29:41Speaker 2: the back. I think I might ride in the front.
- 29:43Speaker 2: I'd be the Waymo guy in the front. I've never
- 29:45Speaker 2: taken one. It's strange. I've never taken one. I've never
- 29:47Speaker 2: had the desire to take one.
- 29:48Speaker 6: Same.
- 29:49Speaker 3: I never had either.
- 29:50Speaker 2: Did you see the new Tesla rocket car that flies?
- 29:54Speaker 3: That's what everybody was talking about this weekend, was this
- 29:57Speaker 3: upside-down flying Tesla Roadster.
- 29:59Speaker 2: It is out of Future of the Back, Back to
- 30:02Speaker 2: the Future. It is like jet rocket, right? Jet rocket
- 30:05Speaker 2: propulsion up, smoke, and then it jumped cars.
- 30:09Speaker 3: Yes, it also jumped cars. The videos that I saw, though,
- 30:12Speaker 3: was the ramp one where it literally went up all
- 30:14Speaker 3: the way and then it's upside down and it's like
- 30:17Speaker 3: suction cupped up there for like three seconds. Then you
- 30:22Speaker 3: see it drop and then turn around and then.
- 30:25Speaker 2: So did you get into like the practicality? Is this
- 30:28Speaker 2: going to happen in our lifetime or is it going
- 30:30Speaker 2: to be safe? Is it going to be cleared, permitted?
- 30:32Speaker 2: I mean, will we see these?
- 30:34Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 30:34Speaker 3: Production is expected to happen in 2028. That's in two years. Apparently,
- 30:40Speaker 3: it uses technology from SpaceX, and Tesla says that it
- 30:42Speaker 3: can go from zero to 60 in less than one second.
- 30:47Speaker 6: What?
- 30:47Speaker 3: Less than one second?
- 30:48Speaker 2: I don't even know why we need that.
- 30:50Speaker 3: Does anybody need to go that fast in one second?
- 30:51Speaker 2: How could you go that fast? I don't think this
- 30:54Speaker 2: is going to be permitted on our streets. I mean,
- 30:56Speaker 2: we can't even drive. We can't merge, even with the
- 31:00Speaker 2: stoplight on an oncoming ramp to the 101.
- 31:03Speaker 3: It's so true.
- 31:04Speaker 2: People can't even get the stoplight green light, red light,
- 31:06Speaker 2: green light down.
- 31:07Speaker 8: Right.
- 31:07Speaker 3: And so at what point are you allowed to fly your.
- 31:10Speaker 2: Car over traffic? And you need a pilot's license. You
- 31:14Speaker 2: can't just fly.
- 31:15Speaker 3: Do you?
- 31:16Speaker 1: Yes.
- 31:16Speaker 2: What if you run into stuff? Well, I don't know.
- 31:21Speaker 2: In a situation, I don't know. It's cool to see,
- 31:24Speaker 2: but I do not want certain people I have seen
- 31:26Speaker 2: driving flying.
- 31:28Speaker 3: It is interesting that there was nobody in the car
- 31:31Speaker 3: too you know they didn't trust it enough to actually
- 31:33Speaker 3: put a human being in there to do this all upside.
- 31:35Speaker 2: Down probably just not there yet but what does it
- 31:39Speaker 2: take for fuel i don't think rocket fuel is it
- 31:42Speaker 2: inexpensive fuel so if it takes jet rocket fuel that's
- 31:45Speaker 2: another problem i.
- 31:46Speaker 3: Don't even think about that i thought it was i
- 31:48Speaker 3: thought you just plug it in charge it you charge
- 31:51Speaker 3: it overnight.
- 31:51Speaker 2: All that steam smoke coming out of those exhaust pipes
- 31:54Speaker 2: that launched it does not look like electricity i know
- 31:59Speaker 2: Everybody's talking about it, but I don't know if anybody's
- 32:01Speaker 2: going to get it.
- 32:02Speaker 7: No. On air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 32:07Speaker 2: Seacrest, Tanya, Ronnie, the backroom, Michaela, Ruby. We got the
- 32:11Speaker 2: whole court here. Full court press. Thanks for being with
- 32:14Speaker 2: us on a Monday, October 19th. So, Tanya, you have
- 32:17Speaker 2: some details on this, but it was a busy weekend.
- 32:20Speaker 5: It was such a busy weekend.
- 32:22Speaker 10: I was living vicariously through all the events that were happening,
- 32:25Speaker 10: starting with the 2026 Academy Museum Gala.
- 32:28Speaker 2: That's a big deal.
- 32:30Speaker 3: It was flooded.
- 32:31Speaker 10: Like all the stars were there. It was absolutely crazy.
- 32:36Speaker 10: Like for everybody from Hailey Bieber to Kendall Jenner.
- 32:38Speaker 2: However, there was a big dupe. People were duped. What
- 32:43Speaker 2: was the dupe?
- 32:43Speaker 10: So there was this photo of Taylor Swift and Kim
- 32:45Speaker 10: Kardashian talking, circulating around social media.
- 32:48Speaker 5: And I like wrote a whole report.
- 32:50Speaker 10: Just on this meeting and talking because of all the
- 32:53Speaker 10: drama from the Reputation album.
- 32:55Speaker 2: I was duped.
- 32:56Speaker 10: I think this was an AI photo. It did not happen.
- 33:00Speaker 10: And I was, because I was like, why aren't outlets
- 33:02Speaker 10: picking this up? This is so crazy.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Because they checked their work?
- 33:05Speaker 5: Because it was fake, yeah.
- 33:07Speaker 3: I think you checked your work after you did your report.
- 33:09Speaker 5: I was like, Mark, update.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Let's get to the bottom of the Dancing with the
- 33:13Speaker 2: Stars thing here. So Val from DWTS got suspended this
- 33:19Speaker 2: week for his, quote, inappropriate social media post.
- 33:23Speaker 7: Yes.
- 33:23Speaker 2: What happened?
- 33:24Speaker 10: So, long story short, last week on Dancing with the Stars,
- 33:27Speaker 10: Carrie Ann Inaba is a judge, and she gave a
- 33:29Speaker 10: critique to Jenna Johnson, who is Val's wife.
- 33:32Speaker 9: Okay?
- 33:33Speaker 10: In my personal humble opinion, who knows nothing about dance,
- 33:36Speaker 10: it was a little annoying of a comment anyway. Carrie
- 33:39Speaker 10: Ann gave it to Jenna. A lot of dancers do lifts.
- 33:41Speaker 3: It was weird.
- 33:43Speaker 10: Val, being Jenna's husband... wanted to stand up for her
- 33:47Speaker 10: and post it on social media. Basically, I was about
- 33:50Speaker 10: to go Will Smith in the ballroom.
- 33:52Speaker 2: Val is married to Jenna Dewan?
- 33:55Speaker 5: Jenna Johnson.
- 33:56Speaker 3: This is where I got confused, too. There's two Jennas.
- 33:59Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. Jenna Dewan was with Tanning Chater. Tanning Chater.
- 34:04Speaker 2: But Jenna Dewan is his actual partner. Correct.
- 34:07Speaker 10: His competitive partner in the ballroom. And Jenna Johnson is
- 34:10Speaker 10: his wife.
- 34:11Speaker 3: Is she another dancer?
- 34:12Speaker 5: Yes, she's a professional on the show.
- 34:14Speaker 2: So the two dancers are married and Jenna Dewan, who
- 34:18Speaker 2: was at our IR Radio Music Festival.
- 34:20Speaker 4: Correct.
- 34:20Speaker 7: Who's she with?
- 34:21Speaker 3: With Val.
- 34:21Speaker 12: With Val.
- 34:22Speaker 3: She's with Val.
- 34:22Speaker 2: No, no, who's she married to?
- 34:23Speaker 10: Oh, oh, she's engaged to Steve, I believe his last.
- 34:26Speaker 5: Name is Kazzy.
- 34:27Speaker 2: And she was with Channing Tatum.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Correct.
- 34:29Speaker 3: They have a.
- 34:29Speaker 5: Daughter together, but they are no longer together.
- 34:31Speaker 10: But anyways, because of his social media post, he is
- 34:35Speaker 10: suspended from this week of dancing in the ballroom.
- 34:37Speaker 5: Jenna Dewan is going to have a new partner this week.
- 34:39Speaker 2: Is it justified, do you think?
- 34:42Speaker 5: Honestly, I.
- 34:43Speaker 10: I don't think, I think Val should be held accountable
- 34:46Speaker 10: for posting that because I don't think it was a
- 34:48Speaker 10: great post. However, I think suspending him is not fair
- 34:51Speaker 10: to his partner. You know, it's happened to the competition
- 34:54Speaker 10: and I just think it's not right to her.
- 34:56Speaker 2: So maybe they score accordingly. Like the judges will probably
- 35:00Speaker 2: score if something doesn't happen perfectly because she's got a sub.
- 35:05Speaker 7: We shall see.
- 35:06Speaker 2: All right, quickly before we break, Dakota Johnson, Machine Gun Kelly,
- 35:09Speaker 2: we're out.
- 35:09Speaker 10: Yeah, they were spotted leaving a late night studio session.
- 35:12Speaker 10: They have romance rumors going on. So I was like
- 35:14Speaker 10: Hawkeye on that. And then last but not least, the
- 35:16Speaker 10: Victoria's Secret fashion show was last night. Barbara Palvin walked
- 35:20Speaker 10: just six weeks after giving birth. Natalia Bryant walked Kobe
- 35:25Speaker 10: Bryant's daughter. And then Kylie Jenner made a big surprise
- 35:28Speaker 10: debut on the runway wearing the fantasy bra.
- 35:30Speaker 2: Does the Victoria's Secret fashion show inspire you to buy
- 35:33Speaker 2: their fashion?
- 35:34Speaker 3: Yeah, I really like that $ 50 million bra that Kylie wore.
- 35:38Speaker 2: No one's wearing that kind of underwear. Who's got that
- 35:40Speaker 2: in their drawer?
- 35:41Speaker 10: If you're watching the full thing, they do have some
- 35:44Speaker 10: ready-to-wear stuff from their pink collection and things like that.
- 35:47Speaker 2: But does it inspire you?
- 35:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:49Speaker 9: All right.
- 35:50Speaker 2: There you have it. The weekend. Very active. 102.7 Kiss FM.
- 35:53Speaker 2: We're paying a bill on the 323 next. 102.7. It
- 35:56Speaker 2: is Kiss FM. Wrapping it up for us. So Michaela
- 36:00Speaker 2: earlier gave away those Jingle Ball tickets. And I was thinking,
- 36:04Speaker 2: you know, with all of the artists, Olivia Rodrigo and
- 36:07Speaker 2: all the artists are going to be there. Ryan Tedder
- 36:09Speaker 2: is going to perform with One Republic. I wonder how
- 36:11Speaker 2: many artist songs that will be performing he's produced.
- 36:14Speaker 5: Yeah, so besides One Republic, it's just Hilary Duff.
- 36:18Speaker 13: He did write with Ray.
- 36:19Speaker 5: During the pandemic, but nothing really came of it. And
- 36:21Speaker 5: a lot of these artists are new, so I'm sure
- 36:23Speaker 5: he'll work with them soon.
- 36:25Speaker 2: Well, he's done that Tate McRae. He's doing the Tate
- 36:26Speaker 2: McRae stuff right now, that new music we got.
- 36:28Speaker 8: Yep.
- 36:29Speaker 2: Looking forward to giving away more tickets tomorrow morning. Sisney,
- 36:31Speaker 2: what is the plan? You got an hour. What are
- 36:33Speaker 2: you going to do?
- 36:34Speaker 3: Playing the hits, baby.
- 36:35Speaker 2: Playing the hits. All right, we'll talk to you first
- 36:36Speaker 2: thing in the morning, kids. Thanks for listening to On
- 36:39Speaker 2: Air with Ryan Seacrest. Make sure to subscribe, and we'll
- 36:42Speaker 2: talk to you again tomorrow.
