- 0:00Speaker 1: Yo, Boutlet Cap Podcast, Boutlet Cap Show. We got a
- 0:02Speaker 1: special guest here. He came with gifts, Miles Minnick. Yeah,
- 0:06Speaker 1: the first of all. Check out this awesome SmackDown christ
- 0:09Speaker 1: like hat. Come on, man, smack demons down. This is gas. Yeah, bro,
- 0:13Speaker 1: and you brought me an ae w ceing punk MJF. Yeah,
- 0:18Speaker 1: dog collar match toy.
- 0:19Speaker 2: It had to happen.
- 0:20Speaker 1: This is where do you find this at?
- 0:22Speaker 3: I mean, you know, there's a lot of a lot
- 0:24Speaker 3: of shops where I stay at the San Pedro with
- 0:26Speaker 3: some gems.
- 0:29Speaker 1: You live in San Pedro? I do great great great seafood.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Oh yeah yeah yeah the fish market.
- 0:35Speaker 1: That's where Miguel was from.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, Miguel.
- 0:39Speaker 1: When did you move to l A?
- 0:40Speaker 2: I move to l A two years ago.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Oh so you've been here?
- 0:43Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, I'm integrated, like I'm a part of it now.
- 0:45Speaker 1: For you missed the Bay, I do.
- 0:48Speaker 3: I do miss the Bay, but I go back a
- 0:50Speaker 3: lot though, so like I scratched at it.
- 0:51Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying?
- 0:53Speaker 1: How was I saw? Glow Fest was crazy?
- 0:55Speaker 2: Oh?
- 0:55Speaker 3: Glow Fest bro insane? It was year four for us.
- 0:59Speaker 3: We broke fire cold this year. You know what I'm saying,
- 1:01Speaker 3: like we could fit like no more people inside. Legally
- 1:05Speaker 3: that joint is crazy.
- 1:07Speaker 1: When you broke break fire code, does the venue come
- 1:09Speaker 1: to you and say hey.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Yeah yeah.
- 1:13Speaker 3: The one of the fatillitators of the building was like, hey, yo,
- 1:17Speaker 3: we can't let nobody through these doors.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Like it's cool, but let's be mindful.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Yeah. You go to like certain events and they were like, yo,
- 1:24Speaker 1: we have to see certain people leave to let more
- 1:27Speaker 1: people in. So yeah, I just got to hang out
- 1:28Speaker 1: wait for somebody to walk out.
- 1:30Speaker 3: But that was my goal though, Like cause last year,
- 1:33Speaker 3: last year, I've seen some empty seats and I'm like
- 1:36Speaker 3: anti empty seat.
- 1:37Speaker 2: So I'm like, now, let's oversell this joint.
- 1:39Speaker 3: So even when those people cancel, we still got like
- 1:42Speaker 3: enough people in the building to pack it out.
- 1:44Speaker 1: I got to listen to your new album. When is
- 1:46Speaker 1: the new album coming out?
- 1:48Speaker 2: August twenty ninth?
- 1:49Speaker 1: So is that next Friday? It is? Yeah. I don't
- 1:52Speaker 1: know why I thought the name was the Last Level
- 1:54Speaker 1: because the untitled link I got, I think it's what
- 1:56Speaker 1: it am? I tripping? Was that like what it was
- 1:58Speaker 1: titled in the untitled Yo?
- 2:00Speaker 2: So the company that master date is called Last Level.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, because I'm like, yeah, that's kind of a
- 2:06Speaker 1: tight name Last.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Loud, but I tell you, but that's like a retirement.
- 2:12Speaker 3: So what's the name of the album, viadlasa Okay, so
- 2:15Speaker 3: explain that. Yeah, yeah, Vielrosa is translated into the pathway
- 2:18Speaker 3: or the sorrowful road. It's the road that Jesus walked
- 2:21Speaker 3: on when he was carrying his cross, you know what
- 2:23Speaker 3: I'm saying, And so we all got across to carry.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Now the album don't sound like a sorrowful album, right,
- 2:29Speaker 3: but if you look at the story of Jesus, when
- 2:31Speaker 3: he got through that road, you know what I'm saying,
- 2:33Speaker 3: he unlocked the promise that he had for us, and
- 2:35Speaker 3: so it's really an album about God's promise on your life.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Yeah, you have an out The outro on the album
- 2:40Speaker 1: is crazy, oh brother.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:42Speaker 3: We try to add like more musicality and some heartfelt
- 2:45Speaker 3: tunes to really move people.
- 2:47Speaker 1: It's crazy because it's like the entire album is like
- 2:50Speaker 1: super just back to back to back, just and everything
- 2:55Speaker 1: kind of just like transitions into each other like seamlessly.
- 2:58Speaker 1: But it feels like it's like an album full of singles,
- 3:02Speaker 1: but you have like a record like the outro on there,
- 3:04Speaker 1: you know where you're just like, oh, this is this
- 3:06Speaker 1: is beautiful.
- 3:08Speaker 3: Yeah, it's it's definitely I would say a lot of
- 3:10Speaker 3: singles on there, but there's some in there that's just
- 3:14Speaker 3: the substance slaps. You know what I'm saying, like like
- 3:17Speaker 3: not my job, you know what I'm saying. I'm talking
- 3:18Speaker 3: about being a believer in spaces where folks don't believe. Yeah,
- 3:23Speaker 3: that's like one of my favorites right now. And the
- 3:25Speaker 3: intro to the intro is a slapper.
- 3:27Speaker 1: But like the walk by Face record.
- 3:32Speaker 3: That's to me, that's like that's one of the most
- 3:35Speaker 3: anticipated ones that I'm seeing like on the internet right now.
- 3:38Speaker 3: It's like the G Easy one and the Kamia one
- 3:41Speaker 3: went crazy bro.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean the features on this project or if
- 3:47Speaker 1: it's kind of like the Bay Area All Star game.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, Amaya G Easy? Obviously you got the
- 3:57Speaker 1: methods on this album as well.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Uh, mister fab you know what I'm saying.
- 4:02Speaker 3: And it wasn't even intentionally like that, but folks on
- 4:07Speaker 3: the Soil started to tapping in with us, and so
- 4:09Speaker 3: we started getting records with them and they came out
- 4:12Speaker 3: to be good records. So like you know, let's let's
- 4:14Speaker 3: let's put it put it together for you?
- 4:16Speaker 1: Was because like obviously you've been putting it so much
- 4:21Speaker 1: work for so long? Was it kind of dope? Did
- 4:23Speaker 1: it feel good? They kind of have some folks that
- 4:25Speaker 1: you probably grew up listening to, like acknowledge what you're doing.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure, Like I grew up on all of them,
- 4:31Speaker 3: especially Keek and mister fab Like they were the pioneers
- 4:35Speaker 3: of the hype movement for sure, you know what I'm saying.
- 4:37Speaker 3: And so to have them tap in on me like
- 4:39Speaker 3: all these years later, it just felt like like a
- 4:42Speaker 3: god dream to me.
- 4:43Speaker 2: For sore.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Hey, we got to stop the interview to tell you
- 4:45Speaker 1: about our good folks. Odd Socks, man, Now these are
- 4:48Speaker 1: the odd Socks basics, ladies and gentlemen. Now, when I
- 4:51Speaker 1: tell you this is a product that every single day
- 4:55Speaker 1: I'm alive for the last five six years I have
- 5:00Speaker 1: used are these odd Socks basics. Now, what odd Socks
- 5:02Speaker 1: is doing is they're kind of reinventing the sock game,
- 5:04Speaker 1: if we're being honest, and the underwear game. You know
- 5:06Speaker 1: a lot of times you'll hit Walmart, you'll hit Target,
- 5:09Speaker 1: you'll get some socks you get some draws. They're affordable,
- 5:12Speaker 1: they end up with holes in them, they don't really
- 5:14Speaker 1: feel great. Not odd Socks, Ladies and gentum. These odd
- 5:17Speaker 1: Socks Basics are the most comfortable socks I've ever had
- 5:21Speaker 1: on my feet. Not only that, but you're super affordable.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Fourteen ninety nine for a six pack. That's it oddsocks
- 5:30Speaker 1: dot Com. And if you don't believe me, sock check full.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Wait that's the ex is on the other side. There
- 5:38Speaker 1: we go. Ah, you see that. Sorry you had to
- 5:42Speaker 1: see those white lakes. But it's so dope that you know,
- 5:47Speaker 1: I get to push a product that I use and
- 5:48Speaker 1: that I love, so odd Socks they got the six
- 5:51Speaker 1: pack of socks for fourteen ninety nine at odd socks
- 5:53Speaker 1: dot com the basics. This is the future of socks,
- 5:57Speaker 1: the future of underwear. For an affordability. I'm talking about
- 6:02Speaker 1: affordability without jeopardizing the quality because they are the most
- 6:05Speaker 1: comfortable socks you ever put on your feet. Ladies and
- 6:07Speaker 1: gents and the ETCeteras. Got to show love to the ETCeteras.
- 6:11Speaker 1: We like all the stripes on the flag. There are
- 6:14Speaker 1: odd Socks dot com. Man, much love to my brothers
- 6:16Speaker 1: over there. Make sure you get some right now, odd
- 6:18Speaker 1: Socks dot Com just get back to the interview for
- 6:21Speaker 1: you man, Like, uh, did you feel a lot of
- 6:23Speaker 1: pressure when it came to making this project because you
- 6:26Speaker 1: do have the most sizes that are outside of your
- 6:29Speaker 1: world on you like right now, like the pressure to deliver?
- 6:32Speaker 1: Was it? Like? Did you feel it?
- 6:35Speaker 2: Nah? I didn't.
- 6:35Speaker 3: I didn't feel the pressure, but I felt the opportunity though, right.
- 6:38Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 6:38Speaker 3: I waited my whole life for this opportunity to have
- 6:41Speaker 3: an anticipated release. You know what I'm saying by not
- 6:45Speaker 3: just people that come from the church, but like mainstream markets,
- 6:49Speaker 3: like the Method with the forty and Craye really knocked
- 6:51Speaker 3: down all the doors for us, right, and so now
- 6:54Speaker 3: everybody's like what you got coming next? So we been
- 6:57Speaker 3: had this on tuck ready for this moment?
- 7:00Speaker 2: You feel me?
- 7:00Speaker 1: Yeah? How long was the actual creative process putting the
- 7:03Speaker 1: album together? It's been it's been, I mean it's been finished.
- 7:06Speaker 3: So we we finished this joint in March, but I
- 7:10Speaker 3: had to drop two projects before this one to build
- 7:13Speaker 3: the momentum to get to the main course, you feel me.
- 7:16Speaker 1: What was it like doing a joint project with la
- 7:19Speaker 1: Craig because he's kind of the goat in that space,
- 7:21Speaker 1: you know.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, Crazy is definitely the pioneer when it comes
- 7:24Speaker 3: to slaps for the soul and really really he's he's
- 7:30Speaker 3: one of my goats, right, you know what I mean.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Fod is the barrier goat. To me, Kray is like
- 7:34Speaker 3: the Christian rap goats. So to have him on the
- 7:36Speaker 3: project with me, like I've been been like praying for that,
- 7:39Speaker 3: working for that since I was like a kid, and
- 7:41Speaker 3: so the had that, It's like he was looky passing
- 7:45Speaker 3: the torch.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Do you feel like the because the method is it's
- 7:49Speaker 1: such a West Coast song? Uh, have you considered doing
- 7:56Speaker 1: a remix where you shot out like, Okay, we need
- 7:59Speaker 1: to do a Florida one. We need to do we
- 8:02Speaker 1: need to do it, like we need to do a
- 8:05Speaker 1: Midwest one we like. Have you considered like, because you
- 8:08Speaker 1: know a lot of radio stations are playing the song.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Yes they are. If they are, you know, it's funny.
- 8:11Speaker 3: I'm already doing like little little up custersions. I'm doing
- 8:15Speaker 3: separate versions, like I did a Fresno version when I'm
- 8:18Speaker 3: shouting out all.
- 8:19Speaker 2: The central Valley cities.
- 8:20Speaker 3: I did a eight or five VERSI, I'm shouting out
- 8:22Speaker 3: the hospitals.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Just hit me for Phoenix areas for you to do
- 8:25Speaker 1: a Phoenix ring.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Yes, sir, I'm doing Boston all of that. You know
- 8:29Speaker 2: what I'm saying. And the radio stits are playing it.
- 8:31Speaker 2: They playing it on radio.
- 8:33Speaker 1: No, it's a big it's it's going crazy. Were you
- 8:35Speaker 1: surprised that it because it it it's like anybody who
- 8:38Speaker 1: plays it, it shoots to number one on like Shizam.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Were you surprised? Because I mean, I wonder if you
- 8:44Speaker 1: heard the song and you felt as like obviously you
- 8:46Speaker 1: felt strong about the song with your song, but did
- 8:49Speaker 1: you feel like, yo, this is like a life changing single.
- 8:51Speaker 3: I knew it because once we got to mix a
- 8:53Speaker 3: master that I literally played it on my car and
- 8:55Speaker 3: I was in tears.
- 8:57Speaker 2: I knew it.
- 8:57Speaker 3: I felt like it was going to say in my
- 8:58Speaker 3: life and I never forget. I was doing a radio
- 9:01Speaker 3: interview and then was like, how do you feel about
- 9:04Speaker 3: this song?
- 9:04Speaker 1: I said?
- 9:05Speaker 3: Everybody, everybody clipped this part right here. The method is
- 9:08Speaker 3: gonna be the new California Love. Everybody looked at me crazy,
- 9:12Speaker 3: And this is right before I dropped. And I'm not
- 9:15Speaker 3: I'm not saying that it's doing what California Love did,
- 9:18Speaker 3: but I would say it's low key on the way.
- 9:20Speaker 1: I mean, look, it's got that energy. Obviously there's like ah,
- 9:23Speaker 1: I would say, I would say, for like a California anthem.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Obviously not like us as a kind of that in
- 9:29Speaker 1: its own way, Yeah, for sure, but like lyrically you're like,
- 9:32Speaker 1: I feel like you say, California Love, Tupac chattered all
- 9:36Speaker 1: all kinds of cities on there, you know what I'm saying.
- 9:38Speaker 1: So I definitely feel that energy on it for sure.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Bawn the big year for getting back down where you
- 9:44Speaker 2: get they met them.
- 9:45Speaker 3: Come on, man, if somebody told me the other day
- 9:47Speaker 3: California Love is an LA anthem, I'm not gonna get
- 9:50Speaker 3: out of here, bro. That is a Califonia anthem. All
- 9:54Speaker 3: my LA homies try to like just like in doctrinate
- 9:57Speaker 3: me into la uh la is.
- 10:01Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, trust me, I know, not as much as
- 10:05Speaker 1: the Bay Area at homies, because the y'all y'all are
- 10:07Speaker 1: like real cult members are dudes are just full fledged
- 10:13Speaker 1: scientologists and hip hop y'all just cult members. Dog y'all.
- 10:19Speaker 1: It's funny because sweet he was here the other day.
- 10:21Speaker 2: I've seen that.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Yeah, and uh, she started singing some mac dre lyrics, right.
- 10:28Speaker 2: She was like, oh no, ray me, but no, I'm
- 10:30Speaker 2: not an R and B.
- 10:31Speaker 1: That's fine. Yeah, but like like obviously like me as
- 10:34Speaker 1: like somebody who like respects mac Dre for what he means,
- 10:36Speaker 1: you know, to you know, I was like, what are
- 10:40Speaker 1: you singing? Yeah?
- 10:41Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's like if you're from a bab Meanwhile,
- 10:45Speaker 3: cooks over there like yay, yay. You see the first
- 10:48Speaker 3: three words I said, he did this. Yeah, it's like
- 10:52Speaker 3: a Negro spiritual Sure, you know, it's.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Not into the bay for you.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Man?
- 10:58Speaker 1: Is there is there anything that you feel like, because
- 11:03Speaker 1: you know, I feel like you've kind of broken down
- 11:06Speaker 1: the barriers of people like I don't feel like a
- 11:08Speaker 1: lot of people even I was talking to Orlando Davis,
- 11:11Speaker 1: who's a PD from Tampa and I'm on the radio
- 11:15Speaker 1: out there. I do nights out there. But he was like, yeah,
- 11:17Speaker 1: the Miles Minni kid. It's crazy. It's because I had
- 11:19Speaker 1: to be told he's a Christian artist. He's like and
- 11:21Speaker 1: then I heard the Method song again and I was like, oh,
- 11:25Speaker 1: oh here it now.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I mean to be honest, with you.
- 11:31Speaker 3: That's always been a goal of mine to like make
- 11:34Speaker 3: music in such a way that is palatable for everybody.
- 11:37Speaker 3: But when you sit down and really dissect it, it's like,
- 11:39Speaker 3: oh no, he talking about something that could inspire my soul, right,
- 11:43Speaker 3: you feel me?
- 11:44Speaker 2: That's all?
- 11:44Speaker 3: Yeah, that's and that's how you get into these spaces
- 11:47Speaker 3: Like I don't want to like exclude myself, you know
- 11:51Speaker 3: what I mean, because like if everything is labeled Christian, Christian,
- 11:54Speaker 3: Christian on everything, then then why would the Gonna Say
- 11:57Speaker 3: Words book me for a halftime show unless it's a
- 12:00Speaker 3: faith and family night, you know what I'm saying. Or
- 12:01Speaker 3: why would the public school give me the perform at
- 12:03Speaker 3: half at at lunch unless it's the Christian club? Are you?
- 12:08Speaker 1: Are you doing nightclub stuff.
- 12:11Speaker 2: Just like like la function stuff.
- 12:13Speaker 1: So my thing is because I think that's dope. I
- 12:17Speaker 1: think that's what you should be doing. But I think
- 12:18Speaker 1: there's other artists who might be in your lane in
- 12:20Speaker 1: the past that might be like, and I can't go
- 12:22Speaker 1: everybody's in there drinking and sinning and shit. So so
- 12:27Speaker 1: but for you, it's like your music is their slaps.
- 12:30Speaker 1: So it's like you gotta kind of go with this
- 12:32Speaker 1: that you gotta go. You gotta go where the people are.
- 12:34Speaker 2: You know, it pops in that environment, you know what
- 12:35Speaker 2: I'm saying.
- 12:36Speaker 3: And you know, we get the backlash from from a
- 12:38Speaker 3: lot of people like why are you in these environments
- 12:40Speaker 3: with these kind of people? Like even even at the
- 12:43Speaker 3: scam Joint when I was with Ogz and Pil and
- 12:46Speaker 3: you and and Nicod.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Are like, what are you doing over there with those people?
- 12:49Speaker 3: It's like, bru, this this is where, this is where
- 12:52Speaker 3: we belong, you know what I'm saying, Especially like if
- 12:54Speaker 3: you want to look at it through a religious context,
- 12:57Speaker 3: like the Bible say, be the.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Light of the world. But if you're not out in
- 13:01Speaker 2: the world, how you're gonna.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Be a light? You already know? Man. Want to give
- 13:03Speaker 1: a shout out to slap Woods for presenting the podcast
- 13:07Speaker 1: only papers I smoke man only leafs that we let

- 14:04Speaker 1: Do you think because I was talking with Chance, right,
- 14:08Speaker 1: I think Chances, like I think the Coloring Book album
- 14:10Speaker 1: was like a perfect example of like a great album
- 14:12Speaker 1: that had like Christian undertones in it. But yes, do
- 14:16Speaker 1: you do you look at a guy like Chance and
- 14:17Speaker 1: like kind of like see what he was able to do?
- 14:20Speaker 1: And you know, because Chance is like a huge artist.
- 14:23Speaker 1: I mean, he's massive, He's a superstar, right, but he's
- 14:26Speaker 1: also very very like outwardly like open about his faith.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Do you ever do you look at Chance ever for
- 14:32Speaker 1: any inspiration?
- 14:33Speaker 2: Absolutely?
- 14:34Speaker 3: A lot of what he does is the blueprint, you
- 14:36Speaker 3: know what I'm saying, Like for him to be on
- 14:37Speaker 3: that level of impact, fame, notoriety, impact, and for him
- 14:41Speaker 3: to talk about God the way that he does and
- 14:43Speaker 3: for it to be received and he's not being preachy
- 14:46Speaker 3: about it right like that that like how he did that?
- 14:49Speaker 1: Man is?
- 14:50Speaker 2: It definitely inspired me? Man I feel like we could
- 14:51Speaker 2: run that same play.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Did you listen to this new album for sure? Did
- 14:55Speaker 1: you listen to the song Letters?
- 14:56Speaker 2: I did?
- 14:57Speaker 1: I did? It's definitely it's a at the church.
- 15:00Speaker 3: It is it is. He has some thoughts and some
- 15:04Speaker 3: words for megachurches and how they may close the doors
- 15:08Speaker 3: and certain people that need et cetera, et cetera.
- 15:10Speaker 2: I feel like it's an important conversation I have.
- 15:12Speaker 1: So do you feel like because I feel like a
- 15:15Speaker 1: lot of people get turned off by that kind of
- 15:17Speaker 1: shit where they're like, yo, man, I don't like it
- 15:19Speaker 1: because you see a lot of these guys on TV
- 15:21Speaker 1: and you see they got private jets and they're like
- 15:24Speaker 1: and it feels like you got your brand it's called
- 15:27Speaker 1: christ Like. It doesn't feel very christ like to you know,
- 15:31Speaker 1: live on you know, living multimillion dollar crazy mansions and
- 15:36Speaker 1: have a bunch of airplanes and rose races and all
- 15:38Speaker 1: this stuff, and yeah, it feels very very un christ like,
- 15:42Speaker 1: if you will, I.
- 15:44Speaker 3: Can see that, yeah for sure. So like, I love
- 15:46Speaker 3: having a conversation, man, because there's two sides to it.
- 15:49Speaker 3: On one side, a lot of these men of God
- 15:53Speaker 3: may have the appearance of them being sleazy, but a
- 15:55Speaker 3: lot of them are best selling authors, so they get
- 15:58Speaker 3: a lot of money from like the stuff. That so right,
- 16:01Speaker 3: So I'm throwing on a flag towards those people. But
- 16:05Speaker 3: there's definitely some people that do take the church money
- 16:10Speaker 3: and upgrade their lives with it in some outlandish ways,
- 16:14Speaker 3: and so that that's easy to attest.
- 16:15Speaker 1: You know, I'm talking about what's the uh, the real
- 16:18Speaker 1: creepy preacher with the eyes.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Bro, I don't know. I knew he was gonna bring
- 16:23Speaker 2: him up. What's Kenneth Copeland?
- 16:25Speaker 1: Oh my god, I watched this documentary. There's this guy
- 16:28Speaker 1: on YouTube who like infiltrated his like compound.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Oh I think I know what you're talking about, and
- 16:34Speaker 2: this was.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Like maybe a month ago, month, month and a half ago,
- 16:38Speaker 1: that dude, right, So I guess he has been like
- 16:40Speaker 1: taking money because he's supposedly supposed to have been like creating.
- 16:43Speaker 3: This like.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Like a community, this whole community and like university and all,
- 16:49Speaker 1: and he's been like collecting money for this thing for
- 16:52Speaker 1: like forty years and it still hasn't been built. But
- 16:55Speaker 1: this dude, Kenneth Copeland is the richest preacher in America.
- 16:58Speaker 1: I think I think he's I think he's got more
- 17:00Speaker 1: money than Joe Ostine. I think he's number one. But
- 17:04Speaker 1: that dude is like and by all accounts he's he
- 17:07Speaker 1: seems like a sick ass fool like he does not
- 17:09Speaker 1: seem like.
- 17:10Speaker 3: I don't know much about him. I just know that
- 17:12Speaker 3: video that you're talking about with the eyes like the
- 17:14Speaker 3: Tyler Perry.
- 17:15Speaker 1: He's like he's hardcore, maga like psycho like dudees like
- 17:19Speaker 1: outside dog like he's he's an interesting cap. But I
- 17:23Speaker 1: think that dude is probably like the poster child of
- 17:25Speaker 1: like uh.
- 17:26Speaker 2: First or yeah first, Sure, you know what I mean.
- 17:30Speaker 3: It's just you know, I learned a long time ago,
- 17:33Speaker 3: or I made the decision a long time ago, to
- 17:36Speaker 3: not let Christians take me away from Christ.
- 17:39Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying smart because like I don't,
- 17:41Speaker 2: I don't put my trust in man, put my trust
- 17:42Speaker 2: in God.
- 17:43Speaker 1: That's what Chance was saying. He said he was a
- 17:45Speaker 1: little conflicted by that record, and he sent it to
- 17:46Speaker 1: his preacher because he was like, I don't want to
- 17:49Speaker 1: Uh what did he say? He's so he has a
- 17:54Speaker 1: fourth or fifth verse on there where he was talking
- 17:55Speaker 1: about the wrap into the body, and he was like,
- 17:58Speaker 1: my preachers told me to add that.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Yeah. She was like, I didn't want to. I didn't
- 18:03Speaker 1: want to take anything away from the body by criticizing
- 18:10Speaker 1: the church.
- 18:10Speaker 3: If that makes sense, that's so good because oftentimes, yeah,
- 18:14Speaker 3: a lot of a lot of artists they criticize the
- 18:17Speaker 3: church without you know what I'm saying, cleaning it up
- 18:21Speaker 3: in a way that doesn't turn people away from the church.
- 18:23Speaker 2: So that's a good move.
- 18:24Speaker 1: What is your give me your bay area? Like, uh,
- 18:28Speaker 1: if you had to give me your top let's say,
- 18:31Speaker 1: let's say, let's go Barria Anthems, give me your top
- 18:36Speaker 1: five Baria Anthems.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Oh you're going crazy, I've seen you. Ask Sweety a
- 18:40Speaker 2: similar question.
- 18:41Speaker 1: I asked herd Mount Rushmore of the of nor.
- 18:43Speaker 2: Cal and she gave you Hago artists.
- 18:45Speaker 3: Right.
- 18:45Speaker 1: It was like, did you say the jacka oh.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, Jacker from my city, Jacker from my city. Okay, okay,
- 18:50Speaker 2: so so Bay area anthems.
- 18:54Speaker 3: Now, when you say anthems, I think about songs that
- 18:55Speaker 3: you could play in the Bay and everybody would know,
- 18:58Speaker 3: and it'll shift the atmosphere all right on top of
- 19:01Speaker 3: my head. Number one Mac j feeling myself. I'm in
- 19:03Speaker 3: that building and I'm feeling number two tell me when
- 19:07Speaker 3: to go. You forty okay, mm hmmm hmm uh oh okay, Uh,
- 19:17Speaker 3: I'm stu Love is probably number five okay, Oh but
- 19:22Speaker 3: m yeah, I gotta put up in there. I gotta
- 19:25Speaker 3: put up in there because even now it has a
- 19:27Speaker 3: resurgence like it's back.
- 19:28Speaker 2: It's back everywhere.
- 19:29Speaker 3: You know, I'm talking about what's some well I'm trying
- 19:33Speaker 3: to oh glamorous lifestyle to jack of Okay.
- 19:37Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. Can I got one?
- 19:39Speaker 1: What's the uh? Why can't I think of the fucking
- 19:43Speaker 1: song right now?
- 19:44Speaker 2: But who?
- 19:45Speaker 1: Little Blood? Third World, New Oakland.
- 19:54Speaker 3: New oak New Oakland, New Oakland, Number foe New oaklandnumber foe.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Blow the Whistle not cracking the top five?
- 20:00Speaker 2: No, oh, okay, up was an honorable mention. I gotta
- 20:07Speaker 2: put blow the whistle. Gotta yeah, someone to go and
- 20:11Speaker 2: blow the whistle is twins.
- 20:13Speaker 1: You know what I like about the Bay though, is
- 20:15Speaker 1: there songs that work in the Bay that don't work, Like, uh,
- 20:19Speaker 1: what's the Flossing song by Mike Jones? Yeah, that song
- 20:25Speaker 1: cracked in the Bay, like it didn't even crack in
- 20:27Speaker 1: Texas like that.
- 20:28Speaker 2: Yeah, but you go to a day party You'll hear that.
- 20:31Speaker 1: That whole crowd. So I'm like, are they playing Mike
- 20:34Speaker 1: Jones flossing?
- 20:35Speaker 2: But same thing with Deurou the Year Buddy that and
- 20:38Speaker 2: then what.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Was the Baby Boy the Prince song? Where I Live?
- 20:44Speaker 2: This is them might as well have been Bay songs.
- 20:47Speaker 2: How we embrace them? Joints man, real, Hey.

- 22:08Speaker 3: as well, me and La Craze. But I'm I'm two
- 22:11Speaker 3: projects ahead for sure. Now, these these projects aren't done,
- 22:16Speaker 3: but we already tapping into them. You know what I'm saying,
- 22:19Speaker 3: May may try to get a chance on one, may
- 22:21Speaker 3: try to get you know what I'm saying that OJZ thing, Papa,
- 22:23Speaker 3: But yeah.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Are you are you next year? Like are you guys

- 22:34Speaker 1: What's the next? The next thing?
- 22:37Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 22:37Speaker 2: So my agent is trying to get me to go
- 22:39Speaker 2: to h TO s f TO. When you call the Masonic, yeah.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Is it the Masonic lodge or what is it? Or
- 22:46Speaker 1: the Masonic?
- 22:47Speaker 2: What is that.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Mosaic?
- 22:51Speaker 2: Mosaic?
- 22:52Speaker 3: Okay, that's a much better name than it seems a
- 22:55Speaker 3: little cause like trying to get my fans to a Freemason.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Ven let's go Mason venue, guys, that's not really own brand.
- 23:04Speaker 3: But yeah, trying to upgrade it man double the capacity.
- 23:06Speaker 3: Because the demand is there, we have to turn hundreds
- 23:08Speaker 3: of people away.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Hundreds is a lot this year. Would you do it
- 23:13Speaker 1: anywhere else besides the Bay glow Fest? Or is it
- 23:17Speaker 1: just like it's home. It's kind of you know, it's
- 23:19Speaker 1: kind of like rolling out starting in Miami. Always in Miami.
- 23:21Speaker 1: It's like glow Fest.
- 23:22Speaker 3: I feel like like I'll always have glow Fest in
- 23:25Speaker 3: the Bay. But that doesn't mean that I won't do
- 23:28Speaker 3: an additional one. I do something called Glovember November.
- 23:33Speaker 1: I like that.
- 23:34Speaker 2: I did the first one in La went Crazy Glovember.
- 23:38Speaker 1: Is that like a it's like a little like you
- 23:40Speaker 1: got a line up and all that.
- 23:42Speaker 2: It's like another little veestl. I like that.
- 23:44Speaker 1: Who's your favorite? Not even Christian space, but just in general, Like,
- 23:48Speaker 1: what are you listening to right now? Anything? Now?
- 23:50Speaker 2: What am I listening to right now? Brother? Got my phone?
- 23:53Speaker 2: I was trying to pull it up.
- 23:56Speaker 3: I'm really I'm revisiting a lot of Hyphi music right now,
- 24:00Speaker 3: probably because like I'm just living the dream of like
- 24:02Speaker 3: getting somebod these artists to get on my wave.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Definitely chanced a rapper.
- 24:07Speaker 3: With his new project, Who else am I listened to, man,
- 24:12Speaker 3: Tommy Zuko, you gotta tap in with Tommy Zuko. He
- 24:16Speaker 3: hard he from Kentucky, but you would swear you from Compton,
- 24:19Speaker 3: like the kind of the kind of wave he on. H. C.
- 24:22Speaker 2: J emuls Alsome. I listened to that new Zoe Osama
- 24:28Speaker 2: joint Crazy Fire.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, he got a new album.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Big shout out to him.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Well listen, man, the new album is out everyone. Well,
- 24:36Speaker 1: it's not out yet, but it'll be. Well, wh when
- 24:38Speaker 1: are we dropping this next next Wednesday? Thursday? So look
- 24:41Speaker 1: it'll be out or coming out in the next day
- 24:44Speaker 1: or two, because yeah, I'll probably be dropping Wednesday or Thursday. Friday.
- 24:49Speaker 1: Ye out, Yeah for Thursday at midnight on the West
- 24:51Speaker 1: Coast Thursday at nine is it nine nine pm? You
- 24:56Speaker 1: know on the West Coast. We gotta start promoting. The
- 24:57Speaker 1: album comes out Thursday night.
- 24:59Speaker 3: That's what I do every single time. Thursday night. I'll
- 25:01Speaker 3: never say Friday no more. And we got an album release.
- 25:05Speaker 3: Parready happened in Frisco Thursday night. It's going to go
- 25:08Speaker 3: crazy it already. It already sold out, but I don't care.
- 25:11Speaker 3: I'm letting everybody like pull up. Is it like an
- 25:14Speaker 3: open of the like, like fans like you were like
- 25:16Speaker 3: selling tickets to it type show. Yeah, yeah, so we're
- 25:18Speaker 3: doing this thing. Is that it's at levels, s f
- 25:20Speaker 3: it's a clothing store, but there's three levels to it.
- 25:23Speaker 3: So the bottom is, like to speak easy, like like
- 25:25Speaker 3: a lounge feel, and that's that's a certain capacity. But
- 25:29Speaker 3: there's also a loft upstairs. And so what's happening downstairs
- 25:32Speaker 3: will be live stream upstairs.
- 25:33Speaker 1: Oh damn.
- 25:34Speaker 3: So those who can't fit downstairs, you'll be able to
- 25:36Speaker 3: view it and like comment like whatever they want to act.
- 25:39Speaker 1: And that's actually yeah, are your fans who aren't there
- 25:42Speaker 1: going to be able to see the stream?
- 25:44Speaker 2: Yes, that's sick. I like it.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Listen, man, new album is out in a couple of days. Yes,
- 25:50Speaker 1: sir uh it's it's fire great man, I told you
- 25:53Speaker 1: you delivered. Man, it's a dope, dope album. Like I
- 25:55Speaker 1: was listening to WHI I was working out, and I
- 25:57Speaker 1: was like, this shit is fire like just runs. It's
- 26:01Speaker 1: just such a smooth album and it's just so seamless,
- 26:03Speaker 1: like the way you're doing the transitions. Whoever sequenced it
- 26:06Speaker 1: like back to back, it was just smooth, man.
- 26:08Speaker 2: So what what's your top tracks from there, if you
- 26:10Speaker 2: had to pick.
- 26:11Speaker 1: I really liked the Kamaya song, the g Z songs,
- 26:15Speaker 1: what Hidden Hills, Yeah, and then the Kick song is
- 26:20Speaker 1: I feel like that could be like a single.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Mm hmm it is. We dropped it last week in
- 26:24Speaker 2: terms of.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Like like whatever y'all worked to radio, you know what
- 26:27Speaker 1: I'm saying.
- 26:29Speaker 2: M hmm.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I liked I liked the intro a lot, but
- 26:34Speaker 1: I would say that the Kamaya record stuck out, And
- 26:37Speaker 1: now I think the g Z song is also one
- 26:38Speaker 1: that could be I think the Hidden Hills record could
- 26:40Speaker 1: be an intro to or a single as well.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, play.
- 26:44Speaker 1: I feel like you got like five or six records
- 26:46Speaker 1: on there. You could be like, we could take this
- 26:47Speaker 1: one the radio, or we could take this one the radio.
- 26:49Speaker 2: So that was always the goal.
- 26:50Speaker 3: And I got videos to the Kamaia one Gezy one.
- 26:54Speaker 3: We're like half of the project as music videos to it.
- 26:56Speaker 1: So we're just going do you feel like for you
- 26:58Speaker 1: because I've always hear mus videos they always like the
- 27:01Speaker 1: new thing artists are saying is like not even artists,
- 27:04Speaker 1: but just people in general in the music industry, like
- 27:06Speaker 1: music videos are just there's the ROI isn't where they
- 27:09Speaker 1: used to be, but it is still like a commercial
- 27:13Speaker 1: to your brand if you.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Will it is it is, it is.
- 27:16Speaker 3: I'll drop a music video with every song literally to
- 27:19Speaker 3: this day, and it's like it don't hurt you if
- 27:23Speaker 3: you're not putting like dumb money into it.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Right.
- 27:25Speaker 3: I got a full time videographer with me every day. Right,
- 27:28Speaker 3: we shoot at it, put it out right, you know
- 27:31Speaker 3: what I'm saying. And our fans love seeing seeing the
- 27:33Speaker 3: videos and yeah, it adds to like the familiarity with
- 27:36Speaker 3: the brand. Well.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Also someone I feel like someone like yourself is helpful because,
- 27:40Speaker 1: like you said, people, there's still people who are finding
- 27:42Speaker 1: out about you, like you got your flock. But it's
- 27:44Speaker 1: like if you do a record with a geasy or
- 27:46Speaker 1: you do a record with another artist and that YouTube
- 27:49Speaker 1: algorithm picks it up. Now you know, you find new fans,
- 27:52Speaker 1: you know what.
- 27:52Speaker 3: I'm saying exactly, and like them them seeing us together too,
- 27:56Speaker 3: like there's something there's something that happens with that to
- 27:58Speaker 3: the Psyche.
- 27:59Speaker 1: For so for sure, there it is miles minute support
- 28:02Speaker 1: this guy. This is the coolest hat? Are you gonna
- 28:06Speaker 1: sell this? Like ten of them?
- 28:09Speaker 3: Fifty It's like, really, we only saw those in person,
- 28:12Speaker 3: but this producing.
- 28:14Speaker 1: I like this man. Yes, Sir Mack, Demons down, flip,
- 28:18Speaker 1: let's get it. Thank you brother, already know man miles
- 28:21Speaker 1: minute boom
