Let me try: 我... 想... 寄信. 我想寄信. Lucas: Perfect! You said it right. 我想寄信. Now, if you need a stamp, you say: 我要買郵票. 'I want to buy a stamp.' Luna: 我要買郵票. That's a mouthful. 我要買郵票. Lucas: You got it. And when you ask the price, you can say: 幾多錢? 'How much?' Luna: 幾多錢. That's like at the market too, right? Lucas: Exactly. Very useful. So let's put it together. Imagine you want to send a letter to the US. You can say: 我想寄信去美國. 'I want to send a letter to the US.' Then ask: 要幾耐? 'How long does it take?' Luna: So that's 我想寄信去美國 and 要幾耐? Lucas: Right.
