Speaker 2: with you on a Sunday, November ninth, where the Kraken
• 0:20
Speaker 2: take on the Dallas Stars for the first time this
• 0:22
Speaker 2: season at American Airlines Center. And wouldn't this be a
• 0:26
Speaker 2: story if the Kraken could come up with another win
• 0:29
Speaker 2: to end back to back Given the circumstances, We have
• 0:33
Speaker 2: coverage for you coming up once again, same time as

• 0:56
Speaker 2: with a Kraken trying to end a six game skid
• 0:59
Speaker 2: all time against Dallas and still making more noise right
• 1:03
Speaker 2: now in a very noisy impact Western conference. We'll touch
• 1:08
Speaker 2: on that in a bid, plus get more reaction after
• 1:11
Speaker 2: a thrilling and a near improbable comeback win from defenseman
• 1:16
Speaker 2: Ryker Evans and head coach Lane Lambert. Plus we'll get
• 1:19
Speaker 2: a look into Dallas heading into the second game of
• 1:23
Speaker 2: back to back. Well last night certainly one for the Ages,
• 1:26
Speaker 2: the Kraken coming back down to nothing after the first
• 1:30
Speaker 2: period and down by a goal, was zero point five
• 1:33
Speaker 2: seconds left in regulation. All the cap it off with
• 1:36
Speaker 2: Shane Wright's overtime winner. If you ask the oddsmakers, they
• 1:40
Speaker 2: weren't doing the Krack in any favors, needless to say,
• 1:43
Speaker 2: But after Dylan Holloway and Dalla board Divorski scored in
• 1:47
Speaker 2: period one, the Kraken got right to work with a
• 1:50
Speaker 2: game that turned on its head in the dying moments
• 1:54
  Speaker 2: of regulation.
• 1:55
Speaker 3: Failed clear by the Blues Seattle with some momentum told
• 1:58
Speaker 3: in it left side star, welcome back, Riiker Evans. A
• 2:05
Speaker 3: left point shot pinballs in by Hulfer, the cracket on
• 2:09
Speaker 3: the board two to one, eleven thirty two left in
• 2:13
Speaker 3: this second period where you.
• 2:14
Speaker 4: Said, partner to the cracking, we're getting some momentum offensively
• 2:16
Speaker 4: right there, moving the puck around and Evans got that
• 2:18
Speaker 4: puck just inside the blue line, right in front of
• 2:21
Speaker 4: the cracking bench, got us head up. He had Myers
• 2:22
Speaker 4: down in front, screening looking for an inflection. Put it
• 2:25
Speaker 4: hard on net. It went off of something that I
• 2:28
Speaker 4: don't believe it was Myers into the back of the net.
• 2:30
Speaker 4: Blocker side and hope for two to one Blue Ellis
• 2:32
Speaker 4: hold it in ran line across Now.
• 2:35
Speaker 3: Done shot, turn aside rightoun tob it in scores et
• 2:41
Speaker 3: phones home his first goal of the season, and the
• 2:45
Speaker 3: Cracket tie the game at two. Four thirty five left
• 2:49
Speaker 3: in period number two.
• 2:51
Speaker 4: Fantastic puck moving by the Cracket on their power play,
• 2:53
Speaker 4: it starts with Stevenson over on the left boards, feeding
• 2:55
Speaker 4: it back to done. Done gets a great shot on
• 2:58
Speaker 4: goal one that Hopefer he can't control the rebound on
• 3:01
Speaker 4: That rebound goes right to twenty on the wing. He
• 3:04
Speaker 4: puts it in the back of the net too too.
• 3:06
  Speaker 1: Lewis denied.
• 3:07
Speaker 4: Don't entry nowbut right here's signed.
• 3:09
Speaker 3: Broberg again turned out of the goal. Gruenauer came out
• 3:12
Speaker 3: to challenge Groberg, tried to go four hand in the backhand,
• 3:16
Speaker 3: popped it wide. Now another shot turned a light by
• 3:19
  Speaker 3: Grubauer turned aside.
• 3:23
  Speaker 4: Kyro stars.
• 3:29
Speaker 3: Philip Grubauer did all he could. Kracking couldn't clear the pocket.
• 3:33
Speaker 3: I think Grubauer made about three and a half really
• 3:37
Speaker 3: good saves while flailing like a fish out of water
• 3:40
Speaker 3: to cover as much space as he could. But Kyrou
• 3:44
Speaker 3: on the third or fourth chance able to get the
• 3:47
Speaker 3: pucked up over Groubaut. Here's Montour left side activates down
• 3:51
Speaker 3: the wall. Montour backhand shot toward the goal. Everyonly swatted
• 3:54
Speaker 3: it live. Seattle back to the line. Here's Stevenson suits Stosur.
• 4:00
Speaker 3: Stevenson point five left in the third Seattle cracking tie
• 4:06
Speaker 3: the game three three late and period number three.
• 4:10
Speaker 4: Fantastic offensives keep by the cracking. There it was done.
• 4:14
Speaker 4: Who got the puck over to Stevenson. Steven takes two
• 4:16
Speaker 4: strides towards the top of the circle, beats Hofer blockers side.
• 4:21
  Speaker 2: This game's tied.
• 4:22
Speaker 5: We're gonna go to ot hold it in far circle.
• 4:25
Speaker 3: Shane right on the hand off. Shane Wright walks it,
• 4:27
Speaker 3: says stops. Shane Wright finds a lane down the left side,
• 4:36
Speaker 3: tucks it in by Joel Hoefer. Seattle takes this one
• 4:40
Speaker 3: four to three and over.
• 4:42
Speaker 4: Time well Ell he tove it and Shane Right up
• 4:44
Speaker 4: at the top of the blue line chriss cross. Tobyden
• 4:47
Speaker 4: dropped it to him. Shane Right's got a full head
• 4:49
Speaker 4: of steam going on that left side. He cuts to
• 4:52
Speaker 4: the front of the end. He beats Hofer load four three, cracking.
• 4:56
Speaker 4: Bring on the griff the final gigs.
• 4:57
  Speaker 5: Watch some final.
• 4:58
Speaker 2: Kegs four to three, crack four to three in overtime. YEP,
• 5:02
Speaker 2: believe it. The Kraken have once again won a one
• 5:05
Speaker 2: goal game, keeping pace in a very chaotic, impacked Pacific Division.
• 5:10
Speaker 2: They entered today tight for second with the Vegas Golden
• 5:13
Speaker 2: Knights and still stand three points back in the first
• 5:16
Speaker 2: place Anaheim Ducks, who are surging winning six consecutive games.
• 5:21
Speaker 2: Not too far behind though, the San Jose Sharks, who
• 5:24
Speaker 2: have won again one point back of the Kraken, and
• 5:27
Speaker 2: still the Kings and Canucks looming two points back. So
• 5:31
Speaker 2: the Krakens certainly making plenty of progress with promise at
• 5:35
Speaker 2: seven three and four, but with us nearly twenty percent
• 5:38
Speaker 2: through the season, there is still more work to be done.
• 5:41
Speaker 2: Pretty fine time to get defenseman Ryker Evans back. He
• 5:44
Speaker 2: earned a goal and an assist in his season debut
• 5:47
Speaker 2: after coming back from an injury that held him out
• 5:49
Speaker 2: for the first thirteen games of the campaign. After the win,
• 5:53
Speaker 2: he shared his reaction meeting with the media in Saint Louis.
• 5:56
Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean it was a long training camp for me,
• 5:59
Speaker 6: so's to get back in regular shooting games and uh,
• 6:02
Speaker 6: to get back with the guys.
• 6:04
Speaker 4: How'd you feel in the first period when were you
• 6:06
Speaker 4: trying to get your legs?
• 6:09
Speaker 6: Yeah, y, I mean you just try to make some
• 6:10
Speaker 6: simple plays, Uh, get some touches so you start feeling
• 6:13
Speaker 6: it again. Uh when Lars went down there, Uh, I
• 6:17
Speaker 6: kind of just step up and and just get thrown
• 6:18
  Speaker 6: into it.
• 6:19
Speaker 1: So it was it was good.
• 6:20
Speaker 6: It was I was able to get all my touches
• 6:21
  Speaker 6: I needed.
• 6:22
Speaker 4: And in terms of the goal, were you looking for
• 6:25
Speaker 4: shots tonight? Were you thinking you wanted to shoot a
• 6:27
  Speaker 4: little more?
• 6:28
Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, obviously I'm not having an attack mindset
• 6:30
Speaker 6: this year, and I think I think we all are.
• 6:32
  Speaker 7: Uh.
• 6:32
Speaker 6: So we just got to get pucks towards the net
• 6:34
Speaker 6: and and Myers are a great screen, so uh, just
• 6:36
Speaker 6: able to find a hole there.
• 6:38
Speaker 5: So thoughts are in the zero point five Bowl and
• 6:42
  Speaker 5: the overtime goal.
• 6:44
Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean it was great. We had a faced
• 6:46
Speaker 6: off play and they uh lay in the back securing one,
• 6:49
Speaker 6: which was great and we needed that.
• 6:51
  Speaker 4: Uh.
• 6:52
Speaker 6: I think we we deserve to win after that second period,
• 6:54
Speaker 6: so uh, I mean it was great that we were
• 6:56
Speaker 6: able to come back.
• 6:57
Speaker 4: Feel good to be out there overtime for that they win.
• 7:00
Speaker 6: From Writer, Yeah, I mean, it's always great to be
• 7:02
Speaker 6: out there, and Writer's been high for us and it
• 7:05
Speaker 6: was good to see him scare.
• 7:06
Speaker 3: For you, what's different about overtime if you're a defender
• 7:10
Speaker 3: and obviously somebody who can who can score.
• 7:13
Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, obviously it's key to the defend and
• 7:15
Speaker 6: here though the shut guys down. I mean, you sure
• 7:19
Speaker 6: to bring your offensive abilities and generate stuff.
• 7:22
Speaker 2: The Kraket improving to three and four heading into overtime
• 7:26
Speaker 2: games this season. They're also four zero to four and
• 7:29
Speaker 2: one goal games. They also made a little bit of
• 7:32
Speaker 2: history on Saturday. Chandler Stevenson's goal marked the latest game
• 7:36
Speaker 2: tying goal in CRACKT history that was previously held by
• 7:40
Speaker 2: Ellie Tolvenan at the fifty nine minute and thirty eight
• 7:44
Speaker 2: second mark on December eighteenth of twenty twenty three at Dallas.
• 7:49
Speaker 2: Shane right By the way, earning the first overtime game
• 7:52
Speaker 2: winning goal of his career. Here's that coach Lane Lambert's
• 7:56
Speaker 2: reaction with the Kraken got their first win in Saint
• 7:59
Speaker 2: Louis since the twenty twenty two and twenty three season.
• 8:02
Speaker 7: I thought we showed, you know, a lot of character
• 8:07
Speaker 7: coming back, you know, especially after our last game and
• 8:12
Speaker 7: then coming out and going down to nothing. I I'm
• 8:17
Speaker 7: very happy with. Uh, you know, it's credit to our
• 8:20
Speaker 7: guys to fight back.
• 8:22
Speaker 6: What details did you see them zero in.
• 8:24
Speaker 7: On more and the game? Well, we just played harder,
• 8:28
Speaker 7: won more battles, and we played more of a structured game.
• 8:31
Speaker 7: We were connected, you know, and you can't you can't
• 8:36
Speaker 7: have success if you're not connected as a five men unit,
• 8:42
Speaker 7: you know. And I thought we did a much better.
• 8:43
  Speaker 5: Job of that.
• 8:44
Speaker 7: Our battle level was high, and you know, we we
• 8:49
Speaker 7: we deserved, you know, we deserve to win. In my mind,
• 8:52
Speaker 7: you know, we we had you know, quite a few shots.
• 8:56
Speaker 7: We kept them to nineteen. And I thought Grooby had
• 9:00
  Speaker 7: a had a good game.
• 9:01
Speaker 2: What did you think of Breaker Aving's first game back?
• 9:03
Speaker 7: I thought he was outstanding. Actually, I mean it's not
• 9:06
Speaker 7: just the uh, you know, the numbers that he put up,
• 9:08
Speaker 7: but uh great skater, uh heads player?
• 9:12
  Speaker 2: Uh?
• 9:12
Speaker 7: I thought he played well. How about Elie told it's
• 9:15
Speaker 7: nice to see him get uh get rewarded finally, and
• 9:20
Speaker 7: you know, I y three point night. I think that, uh,
• 9:23
Speaker 7: you know, we're certainly we feel like he's done a
• 9:27
Speaker 7: lot of good things up until now. Just hasn't you know,
• 9:30
Speaker 7: lit the lamp or or whatever. But certainly he's done
• 9:33
Speaker 7: a lot of good things, and so hopefully this just
• 9:36
Speaker 7: kind of catapults him into some uh some offense.
• 9:39
  Speaker 3: Larring is it?
• 9:40
Speaker 6: Lady's second period is kind of a perfect example of
• 9:43
Speaker 6: what you're preaching to these guys.
• 9:45
Speaker 4: Five shots for them, fifteen for you, guys score a
• 9:47
  Speaker 4: couple of goals.
• 9:48
Speaker 6: Was it something you talked about or did tig guys
• 9:50
Speaker 6: talked about a little bit going into that period?
• 9:53
  Speaker 7: Ah, I don't, you know, I don't. I mean, we
• 9:55
Speaker 7: always talk about second periods and how you can either
• 9:58
Speaker 7: take advantage of teams or or they take advantage of you,
• 10:01
Speaker 7: depending on you know, how how the ice is tilted.
• 10:04
Speaker 7: You got to manage the puck. I thought we did
• 10:06
Speaker 7: a really good job of managing the puck in that period,
• 10:09
Speaker 7: and you know, with a long change. We were able
• 10:11
Speaker 7: to you know, we were able to have some zone
• 10:13
Speaker 7: time for sure. So just overall, our mentality in the
• 10:17
Speaker 7: game was a lot better. And give our guys full
• 10:21
Speaker 7: credit for you know, bouncing back.
• 10:25
Speaker 4: I just one more about Glouby.
• 10:27
Speaker 7: I know you don't know you had a good game,
• 10:28
Speaker 7: but would you like, in particular a couple of cuff
• 10:30
Speaker 7: bows early? And well I liked what I liked what
• 10:35
Speaker 7: he did the same same way as our team did,
• 10:37
Speaker 7: you know, like you say, a couple of goals early.
• 10:39
Speaker 7: I thought he was resilient. I thought he made some
• 10:43
Speaker 7: big saves for us when we needed him to. And
• 10:47
Speaker 7: you know, so full marks to him. You know, he
• 10:50
Speaker 7: hasn't played for a while. Well done by Grooby.
• 10:53
Speaker 5: Dallas collapses low, It gets to the puck ten seconds
• 10:57
Speaker 5: left on the power play, Harley for Steele, Harley again,
• 11:02
Speaker 5: robertson low pork right.
• 11:04
  Speaker 2: Side starre.
• 11:07
Speaker 5: What movement and may go rented. It finishes with a
• 11:12
Speaker 5: second left on the power play.
• 11:14
Speaker 2: Dallas has the league that call courtesy Josh Bogerod on
• 11:18
Speaker 2: KTCK in Dallas as the Stars knocked out the Nashville
• 11:21
Speaker 2: Predators with three goals in period three, five to four
• 11:25
  Speaker 2: to the final.
• 11:25
  Speaker 5: They'll also be.
• 11:26
Speaker 2: In the back to back pool just like the krack
• 11:28
Speaker 2: in here coming up for this contest. There's also more
• 11:31
Speaker 2: in common the one goal game variety. Dallas has won
• 11:34
Speaker 2: seven of eight games decided by one goal. That is
• 11:38
Speaker 2: tied with Montreal by the way, for most among all
• 11:41
Speaker 2: NHL teams. Dallas also going through transition, just light the
• 11:45
Speaker 2: cracking behind their bench. It is their first year under
• 11:47
Speaker 2: head coach Glenn Goldson for stint number two, though he
• 11:51
Speaker 2: replaced Pete de Boor after last season. And the big
• 11:54
Speaker 2: question for Dallas can they get over the hump and
• 11:56
Speaker 2: into the Stanley Cup Final, most recently occupied last three
• 12:00
Speaker 2: seasons by either Vegas or Edmonton. First of three matchups
• 12:04
Speaker 2: coming up here for these two teams. I'll square off
• 12:07
Speaker 2: once again in Seattle on November twenty sixth and wrap
• 12:11
Speaker 2: up the head to head series after the Olympic break
• 12:14
Speaker 2: in Dallas on February twenty fifth. The Kraken trying to
• 12:18
Speaker 2: keep rope Hens quiet. He's made plugy of noise head
• 12:21
Speaker 2: to head with twelve points in twelve career games against
• 12:24
Speaker 2: the Kraken. Could there be motivation in store for Mason Marchmith.
• 12:28
Speaker 2: It's a reunion game for him. He'll face his former
• 12:31
Speaker 2: team in Dallas for the first time. Cins the Stars
• 12:34
Speaker 2: traded him to Seattle this past summer after spending three
• 12:38
Speaker 2: seasons with the Stars, last two, by the way, scoring
• 12:42
Speaker 2: twenty two goals in twenty twenty three to twenty four
• 12:45
Speaker 2: and twenty twenty four twenty five. Could a start be
• 12:49
Speaker 2: in store for Matt Murray After Philip Grubauer got to
• 12:52
Speaker 2: win last night against Saint Louis. The number say it
• 12:55
Speaker 2: might be an opportune time for him against Dallas for
• 12:59
Speaker 2: his career one on one owning guess what a nine
• 13:03
Speaker 2: to four to eight lifetime save percentage, But time will
• 13:06
Speaker 2: tell if those numbers hold up. This will be his
• 13:08
Speaker 2: first appearance of his career against Dallas since December of
• 13:12
Speaker 2: twenty twenty two. That game, by the way, the crack
• 13:15
Speaker 2: and trying to make sure MraY can certainly channel some
• 13:17
Speaker 2: of that when he had a forty four save shutout
• 13:20
Speaker 2: as a member of the Maple Leafs. So plenty of
