- 0:012nd Corinthians chapter 6 Let us pray.
- 0:08Our Father who is in heaven, holy is your name, Your Kingdom
- 0:20come and your will be done here on this earth just as it is
- 0:27there in heaven. God, we exalt your holy name.
- 0:32God, your name is set apart and far greater than any other name.
- 0:37Jesus Christ is the name above all names.
- 0:41And I pray in the name of Jesus today, God, that your Kingdom
- 0:45and your will will be wrought in and through US.
- 0:48God, I pray that we'll be your hands and feet to this lost,
- 0:52wicked, and perverse generation. God, I pray in the name of Jesus
- 0:56that you will help us to snatch those who are perishing out of
- 1:00the fires of hell in condemnation.
- 1:02God, I pray in the name of Jesus that you will give us a
- 1:05supernatural zeal today. Father, let it consume us.
- 1:09Lord, I pray in the name of Jesus that you will help us.
- 1:12Father, be filled with the Holy Ghost.
- 1:14Help us to go out into the harvest, God, I pray that will
- 1:19not be found sitting on our blessed assurance.
- 1:21Father, I pray that we'll be found going out and doing
- 1:25exactly what you have told us to do in the revealed will of God,
- 1:29to go and to preach, Lord, and to go out into all nations,
- 1:34Judea and Samaria, God and Jerusalem.
- 1:37Lord, I pray in the name of Jesus for the peace of
- 1:40Jerusalem. Father, I pray for the Jews.
- 1:43God, I pray that you will protect them supernaturally.
- 1:46Father, I pray in the name of Jesus that you will lead us all
- 1:50home to where you are, Father. But in the meantime, Lord, let
- 1:54us wait. Well, Lord, let us be found with
- 1:57our hand to the plow. Let us be found locked eyes with
- 2:00you. Let us be found doing exactly
- 2:02what it is that you've called us to do in the arenas and in the
- 2:05callings and in the circles of influence that you have placed
- 2:09us in. Father, let us be your
- 2:12mouthpiece. God, I pray that we'll speak
- 2:15your eternal words to those who desperately need to hear the
- 2:19truth, Father, for the Word of God is the only truth, truth,
- 2:23the only good news that's in the entire world.
- 2:26So God, we proclaim the name of Jesus Christ, who is the way,
- 2:30the truth and the life, and there is no one who can come
- 2:33unto you, Father, God, except through him.
- 2:35So Lord, that is what we propagate, that is what we push,
- 2:40or that is our determination today is to push the name of
- 2:50Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth.
- 2:52Lord, I pray that you'll fuel us for the journey.
- 2:57God, I pray for your daily bread.
- 2:59Today. God, give us fresh bread out of
- 3:01the oven. God, I pray in the name of Jesus
- 3:04that you will help us to see these words jump off the page.
- 3:08Lord, I pray that they'll come alive, God, and quicken in us,
- 3:13in the inner man. Father, I pray that deep calls
- 3:16to deep today. Lord, I pray that we'll make a
- 3:20connection today between what is written on the page and what is
- 3:24written on our hearts and on our minds.
- 3:26And conscience is God and what drives and motivates us today.
- 3:31Father, I pray that it'll be your daily bread.
- 3:35God, thank you for forgiving us for all of our sins.
- 3:38Lord, thank you under the blood of Christ, God, that we are
- 3:42forgiven for every sin that we have ever committed, our
- 3:45committing, or will ever commit. God and I thank you, Lord, and
- 3:49help us to extend that forgiveness out to those who
- 3:52have wronged us. God 70 * 7 Lord, we forgive our
- 3:56brother. Thank you, Jesus, for all the
- 3:59things that you've done for us. Lord, I pray that you'll keep us
- 4:03from the enemy, keep us from the accuser of the brethren.
- 4:06God did not let us fall into deception, did not let us fall
- 4:11into temptation. God, I pray in the name of
- 4:13Jesus, Lord, that the fruits of the Spirit God will become
- 4:18evident in our lives. Lord, let us have love and joy.
- 4:24God, let us have peace and patience, Father, and goodness,
- 4:30gentleness, faithfulness, kindness, God and self-control.
- 4:35Lord, I pray in the name of Jesus, Lord, that you'll help us
- 4:38exude all these attributes, Exude all this fruit, God, and
- 4:43let it be sweet and let it go out and nourish those that are
- 4:47perishing. God, I pray that as we walk in
- 4:50the room that we are the peacemakers and we are more than
- 4:53conquerors, God, and you go with us, Lord.
- 4:55And so where we are, you are God.
- 4:58And I pray that the Holy Spirit shines bright today in the
- 5:01darkest places. Lord, for yours it's the
- 5:10Kingdom. Yahweh everlasting, Yours is the
- 5:15power. Yeshua ha Messiah, yours is the
- 5:19glory. Holy Spirit, teach us.
- 5:23Holy Spirit, guide us. Holy Spirit, convict us.
- 5:28I decrease as you increase. Hide me.
- 5:31Hide my words and my thoughts. And Holy Spirit, you speak and
- 5:35you teach. Today we are your vessels
- 5:40emptied out of this world to be filled with your presence, God
- 5:44Almighty. It's in Jesus Christ, holy
- 5:48worthy, lovely name that I pray, Amen.
- 5:55Let's start in verse one. We then, as workers, together
- 6:03with him, beg you also that you receive not the grace of God in
- 6:11vain. So this grace of God is a free
- 6:15gift, friends. It is what He has given to us.
- 6:21When we come to Him honestly, when we come to Him earnestly,
- 6:24when we come to Him and admit that we are sinners in desperate
- 6:29need of a Savior, He imputes to us the righteousness of Christ.
- 6:34And we have grace and grace that abounds, friends.
- 6:39And we can know that we know that we know that we know that
- 6:42we are forgiven. And when we stand before an
- 6:45almighty God, He will only see us as holy because He is holy,
- 6:50because we are covered in the holy blood of Jesus Christ.
- 6:54And that is the only way that we're going to get there,
- 6:56friends. And a lot of people are turned
- 6:58around on this point and they want to try to behave their way
- 7:01into heaven and they want to try to measure where people stand
- 7:05with God based on the external things that are being done,
- 7:09Friends. But it is not for us to try and
- 7:11gauge where somebody stands with God.
- 7:14There are a lot of people who are taking the grace of God in
- 7:17vain. They have accepted it, but they
- 7:21are abusing it, friends, and that is what is referenced here.
- 7:26We need not take the grace of God in vain.
- 7:30We need to make sure that the gravity of it sets in.
- 7:35This horror of the eternal damnation and punishment that we
- 7:41have escaped sets in and it propels us into the darkest
- 7:46places to try to persuade those with all of our heart to put
- 7:52their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ so that they do not have
- 7:55to go there, friends, and that is what is referenced here.
- 7:59We need to understand what we have been rescued from, and we
- 8:03will not take the grace of God in vain.
- 8:06We will be thankful. We'll have gratitude.
- 8:09We will make sure that we love well even in the face of
- 8:12persecution and adversity. Whenever our very liberties are
- 8:17being stripped from us. We count it all as joy for this
- 8:21small amount of affliction, this light affliction, as Paul had
- 8:25called it in previous chapters. We need to understand, friends,
- 8:29that the grace of God is supernatural and love covers a
- 8:38multitude of sins. And we need to understand that
- 8:42it is all under the blood of Jesus Christ.
- 8:45All of the sins that we've ever committed, are committing, or
- 8:48will commit are under the blood of Jesus Christ.
- 8:51And when we have that saving knowledge, we can live lives
- 8:57that show him to the world. They reveal the love of Christ
- 9:04to the world through our lives. And so we cannot let the enemy
- 9:10make a mess out of our testimony and out of our lives, so that we
- 9:14are no earthly good and useful for the ministry, because our
- 9:19lives look no different than the rest of the world.
- 9:22Far be it from us to abuse grace so that the grace of God can
- 9:26abound. God forbid.
- 9:28Verse 2 For he says, I have heard you in a time accepted,
- 9:35and in the day of salvation have I helped you?
- 9:38Behold, now is the accepted time.
- 9:41Behold, now is the day of salvation.
- 9:44Today is the day of salvation. Friends, do not put it off.
- 9:48And you need to understand that the devil cannot snatch you out
- 9:53of God's hands. But you also need to understand
- 9:57there is a fresh renewal, friends, a fresh submission,
- 10:02friends. There is a fresh devotion,
- 10:06friends, that is followed by a fresh filling of the Holy Ghost.
- 10:11If you are in a season of silence, if you are in a season
- 10:15of sifting, yield to God Almighty today, recommit your
- 10:20life unto Him. Turn to a loving Savior and
- 10:24recommit and re devote your life unto Him today, friends, for
- 10:30today is the day of salvation. If you woke up today, His
- 10:33mercies are new. Every day and every single day
- 10:37we come to the foot of the cross and we lay down all of our
- 10:41baggage, all of our woes, all of our sins, all of our cares, all
- 10:45of the things of this world, and we pick up His righteousness and
- 10:50His grace and His love and His mercy, and we receive our
- 10:54marching orders for this day. Acknowledge Him in the mornings
- 10:59and He will direct your step for the rest of the day.
- 11:02Do not wait till the end of the day to start getting into the
- 11:05Word or start shifting your mindset towards Him.
- 11:10We do not need to go out into the world without being
- 11:13sharpened and without being filled with the Holy Ghost.
- 11:17Friends, today is the day of salvation.
- 11:21It's not a question of have you ever.
- 11:26The question is, are you now? Are you now following after God?
- 11:34It's not a question of can you tell me when you put your faith
- 11:37in the Lord Jesus Christ? The question is, are you now
- 11:42indwelled with the Holy Spirit? Are you now consecrated?
- 11:46Have you now kicked out every demonic influence and oppression
- 11:52out of your lives? All of the world craftiness
- 11:55friends, get rid of it all Malice and deceit, backbiting
- 11:59and lying, all thievery friends get rid of it and be filled with
- 12:04the Holy Ghost today. Three if so be that being
- 12:10clothed, we 3 of chapter 6 giving no offense in anything
- 12:19that the ministry be not blamed. So you understand that this
- 12:24offense is one of the greatest ways that the enemy gets us when
- 12:31we have an offendable spirit. Every little bump in the road we
- 12:36start turning back into our carnal minds, we start turning
- 12:40back to our natural responses. This offense, friends, is
- 12:45whenever Jesus leaves you in the prison and whenever we know that
- 12:50He can release us, but He doesn't when we're offended by
- 12:53Him and we fall away. This is where the apostate
- 12:56church comes in, friends. This is where the great falling
- 13:00away comes in, is because of the offense that God could, but He
- 13:04didn't. And we need to go ahead and
- 13:07count the cost before we ever come to Him earnestly and
- 13:11honestly and openly. We need to count the cost and
- 13:14understand that God's ways are not our ways and His thoughts
- 13:20are not our thoughts. They are much higher and much
- 13:23greater, and they serve a greater purpose when we're left
- 13:26in the prison. Friends, we need to understand
- 13:29that death is on the table every day.
- 13:32You need to understand that this is a battleground and not a
- 13:35playground. Friends, do not let the offense
- 13:43cause the ministry to be blamed. This is where when our bank
- 13:49accounts don't measure up and we go into bribery and we go into
- 13:57laundering, and this is where we do not see our needs being met
- 14:04by the Lord. So we step out into our own
- 14:07thinking and our own understandings.
- 14:11And this is where the ministry gets blamed when we're not
- 14:14satisfied with the wife of our youth and we step out friends,
- 14:19because we think that God is withholding his best from us.
- 14:23This is where the ministry gets blamed, friends, for but in all
- 14:31things of proving ourselves as the ministers of God in much
- 14:35patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses.
- 14:41So here Paul's going to give a little resume and he's going to
- 14:44tell you of all the things that he's been doing in his worldly
- 14:49travels all over the known world, taking the gospel of the
- 14:52Lord Jesus Christ to all of these Gentile nations.
- 14:56And he's going to tell you that he was a minister of God and
- 15:01approved of God. He did not need man's approval.
- 15:05He needed God's approval. And it's the same for us today.
- 15:08We do not seek the approval of man.
- 15:10Friends, let fear of man go. We do everything unto the Lord.
- 15:16The Lord sees, and what we do in secret, He will openly reward.
- 15:21Friends, we have to have much patience in the afflictions.
- 15:27We cannot just get offended and turn back to all of our own
- 15:31ways. We have to persevere in the
- 15:35affliction. We have to persevere with the
- 15:37lack of our necessities. Friends, we have to persevere in
- 15:42the face of all the distressing moments in our lives.
- 15:47Five in stripes, in imprisonment, in tumults, in
- 15:53laborers, in watchings and fastings.
- 15:56So you can see here that Paul was telling the Corinthians all
- 16:01the things that he had to go through in order to found them
- 16:05and to found that church. And you need to understand,
- 16:08friends, that the capital C church is founded upon the rock,
- 16:14and it is unmovable and unshakeable.
- 16:17And there are many apostate churches, churches, and there
- 16:21are many false teachers and false doctrines out there, but
- 16:23that has nothing to do with the church capital C It is
- 16:28unmovable, it is unshakable, and the gates of hell will not
- 16:32prevail against it. And you need to understand that
- 16:35it was founded in stripes. The church was founded in
- 16:40imprisonments. The church was founded in
- 16:42tumults and laborers and watchings and fastings.
- 16:46And it cost Jesus Christ his very life, friends and all of
- 16:50the martyrs along the way were the seed of the church and the
- 16:54seed of the gospel that you and I are privileged to friends.
- 16:58And all of the writings in the inspired writings of Paul and
- 17:03Peter and James and all the writings here of John and of
- 17:08Matthew, all the writings of Luke.
- 17:10Friends, you can see here that we are the beneficiaries of such
- 17:16a life that was laid down for Christ.
- 17:19And they counted the cost before they ever went out into the
- 17:22harvest. And you and I need to do the
- 17:24same. Friends, God has much work to do
- 17:27and you were born for such a time as this.
- 17:29We cannot be found sitting on the sidelines.
- 17:32Friends, we need to understand that we have to get into the
- 17:35fight and charge the hill. Do not be found sitting on that
- 17:39blessed assurance. Friends, yes, you're going to
- 17:41bust heaven wide open. Praise the Lord for that.
- 17:44You're marked by His mercy and love and His grace, and you're
- 17:48covered in the blood of Christ. But there is far too much work
- 17:52to do for us to be found in our pleasures and pleasantries and
- 17:57on vacation. Friends, we need to make sure
- 18:00that we are putting our hands to the plow, that we are going out
- 18:04into the harvest, for the harvest is plenty, but the
- 18:08workers are few, and that is you and that is me.
- 18:11Friends, we are the hands and feet of Christ.
- 18:13We are the body of Christ, and we need to be found scattering
- 18:17the seed all over the world. Friends, and where it falls, we
- 18:21need to make sure that we water it and watch how God gives the
- 18:24increase. 6 By pureness, by knowledge, by long-suffering, by
- 18:34kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned.
- 18:40So he's telling you how the Church was founded.
- 18:43He's telling you how his ministry was marked with all
- 18:47these afflictions that produced the pureness.
- 18:51All of the afflictions pulled out the dross and the
- 18:55impurities, and they refined Paul into the purity.
- 18:59They refined him by the knowledge and by long
- 19:02sufferings. This refinement came that
- 19:05produced the kindness and produced the filling of the Holy
- 19:09Ghost. It produced love that was
- 19:12unwavering. Even whenever he was talked and
- 19:16slighted, he was talked down towards.
- 19:19His love abounded for this church and ours should do the
- 19:23same for the capital C Church all over the world. 7 By the
- 19:27word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of
- 19:31righteousness on the right hand and on the left.
- 19:34Think about it friends, You hold the word of truth in your hands.
- 19:37We have the power of God living inside of us, friends.
- 19:42We have the armor of righteousness.
- 19:44We have the full armor of God that we must put on every day.
- 19:48We have have to put it on in order to withstand all the fiery
- 19:52darts of the enemy. And we have him as our rear
- 19:55guard and our front guard. He's on the right, he's on the
- 19:58left. He's all-encompassing us.
- 20:01And he is fighting our battles for us, friends, And greater is
- 20:05he who is living in you than he who is in the world.
- 20:09Ate by honor and dishonor by evil report good report as
- 20:13deceivers. And yet true.
- 20:15So Paul is saying that he has gone through so many different
- 20:18seasons in his life. He's been called the worst names
- 20:22and he's been exalted into levels and states that he did
- 20:27not receive. He has been struck down and he
- 20:31has been honored. And you need to understand that
- 20:33Paul saw the end from the beginning, and he had received
- 20:38his marching orders from the Lord Jesus Christ and he had
- 20:42counted the cost and he knew that he had to preach.
- 20:45And he said, woe to me if I do not preach the gospel.
- 20:48He was filled with the Holy Ghost and he was not worried
- 20:52about what men thought about him.
- 20:54He was more concerned with how God saw him. 9 as unknown and
- 21:02yet well known as dying. And behold, we live as chastened
- 21:06and not killed. Your blood bought and
- 21:09bulletproof until you were not. God knows every single hair on
- 21:17your head, and he knows every single breath you shall take.
- 21:20And He knows every day that you're going to spend on this
- 21:25earth, and until the Lord is ready to call you home, there is
- 21:30nothing that can overtake you but that which is common to man.
- 21:36And He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can
- 21:41bear. And He always provides a way
- 21:44out. And that's what you need to
- 21:45understand is that God is our force field.
- 21:50He's all around us and He is able to keep you from death,
- 21:56He's able to keep you from imprisonment, He's able to keep
- 22:01you from disease. But when those things come, and
- 22:05they shall, but when they do, you need to understand that He
- 22:09is with you. When you go through the waters,
- 22:12you do not need to think that God is mad at you and He's
- 22:15turned His back on you. And we do not need to go back to
- 22:18all of our carnal, fleshy ways of thinking.
- 22:22We need to understand that God is going to get much glory in
- 22:26your sufferings. 10 As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing,
- 22:34as poor, yet making many rich, as having nothing and yet
- 22:38possessing all things. Jesus Christ, the Son of God,
- 22:45who has and created all things, became poor so that we can
- 22:55become rich. And where we become rich is not
- 22:59in earthly possessions. Your life is much more than just
- 23:03the amassment of material things.
- 23:07We become rich in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- 23:10We become rich in the spiritual aspects of life.
- 23:14We become rich by understanding the tapestry all around us and
- 23:18what is actually happening in the spiritual realm all around
- 23:22us. We become rich and
- 23:24understanding, and where we are not ignorant of the schemes of
- 23:28the enemy, we become rich, friends.
- 23:30And knowing what our inheritance is, when we take our last
- 23:33breath, friends, we become rich in Christ Jesus, friends.
- 23:39And Paul became poor so that we can be rich in all of this
- 23:43knowledge. He became sorrowful, although he
- 23:46rejoiced in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. 11 Oh you
- 23:57Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, and our heart is
- 24:01enlarged. 12 You are not straightened in US, but you are
- 24:07straightened in your own bowels. 13 Now for a repayment in the
- 24:12same I speak as unto my children, be you also enlarged.
- 24:18So he's saying, Open up your hearts to us.
- 24:21Do not be closed off, for we are willing to come to you.
- 24:30Now that we see that you have seen the air of your way and
- 24:39repented, we are willing to come to you.
- 24:41We are wide open towards you. Now make yourself ready.
- 24:45Make your heart ready. Open yourself up to us and to
- 24:49our teaching. And he's as a father speaking to
- 24:52his little children. Here you can hear the endearment
- 24:56that Paul had toward the Corinthians.
- 25:00And the Corinthians were guilty of so many carnal ways of
- 25:04thinking, friends, but he still considered them as Saints.
- 25:09And here we can see that now they have come to their senses
- 25:13and now they have started to repent and they see their need
- 25:18for repentance. And that is what Christ
- 25:20referenced when he said there is more rejoicing for one Sinner
- 25:23who sees his need for repentance than for the 99 who do not,
- 25:29friends. And that is what is referenced
- 25:31here. He's saying open yourself wide
- 25:33up to correction and to discipline.
- 25:36Open yourself wide up to the purging and the purifying and
- 25:42the refining that comes from discipline.
- 25:44And just remember that like a loving Father, God always
- 25:48disciplines those whom he loves. And it sure doesn't feel that
- 25:52way in the moment. But correction is not rejection.
- 25:56Friends 14 Be you not unequally yoked together with unbelievers.
- 26:07For what fellowship has righteousness with
- 26:10unrighteousness, and what communion has liked with
- 26:14darkness. So here Paul wants them to know
- 26:18that it is good for a boat to be in the water, but it is not good
- 26:22for water to be in the boat. And it is as equally
- 26:27unprofitable for a boat to be stuck in a shipyard hoisted up
- 26:33high. Friends, it has.
- 26:35It's not being used. And that is a picture of what is
- 26:38referenced here, of not being unequally yoked.
- 26:43Friends, we can be in the water, but we cannot have the water to
- 26:48get inside of us or we will be sinking.
- 26:51And that is what he is referencing here.
- 26:53He's saying do not be influenced and allow the world to come in
- 26:59and overtake you and to overtake the way that you think and
- 27:03overtake your actions. It is OK for us to be out in the
- 27:08world. We do not need to just build a
- 27:11compound and put a barbed wire fence and armed guards around it
- 27:16and sit in the middle and sing kumbaya until the Lord comes
- 27:20home. We need to be found out in the
- 27:22darkest places, but we do not need to let that darkness
- 27:26overtake the light. Friends 15 And what concord has
- 27:36Christ with Belial or what part has he that believes with an
- 27:42infidel? So he's saying that Christ and
- 27:46Satan do not cohabitate. Christ is high above all of the
- 27:52satanic realm. And we do not need to be found
- 27:55as children of Belial. We do not need to be found as
- 27:58the sons of Belial. And this is a demonic
- 28:04personality friends, that is manifested in those who choose
- 28:10to do evil in this world. And Christ is fully separated,
- 28:15as we should be as well. Whenever we try to mix in the
- 28:19world system with the Christianity, it will be like
- 28:23Christ and Belial trying to cohabitate and it will never
- 28:27happen friends. He has no conchord with him and
- 28:33we cannot put a believer in an infidel together.
- 28:37And of course, this is in reference to marriage.
- 28:43We do not need to be unequally yoked in our partner.
- 28:46We do not need to be unequally yoked in a business partner,
- 28:50friends. Anytime that you come into a an
- 28:55agreement, anytime that you come in to a relationship, friends do
- 29:01not expect for the other party to change.
- 29:05You need to understand that whatever state that that person
- 29:08is in when you come to them and when we're picking a spouse,
- 29:13whenever we're dating with the intent to marry.
- 29:16Friends, not just with the intent to get to know somebody,
- 29:19but you should date with the intent to marry.
- 29:22Do not even date them if you do not see them as a prospect for
- 29:26marriage. But you need to understand that
- 29:29whatever state you find them in at at the inception, you need to
- 29:34go ahead and count the cost that they may never come over and
- 29:39become believers. So if they are not a believer
- 29:42when you first start talking to them, there is a great chance
- 29:47that they will never become a believer.
- 29:49Even with all the hounding, even with all of your haggling and
- 29:55with all of your crying and wishing and pleading, they may
- 30:02never come over into the faith, friends.
- 30:05So whether it's a business partner or whether it is a
- 30:08marriage partner, do not be unequally yoked.
- 30:13Friends 16 And what agreement has the temple of God with
- 30:21idols? For you are the temple of the
- 30:24living God, And God has said, I will dwell in them and walk in
- 30:30them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
- 30:33So you need to understand that the temple of a holy God
- 30:37deserves for you to be emptied of all of the worldliness and
- 30:41the craftiness of all of the idol worship of all the demonic
- 30:46friends, all of the secular garbage that we allow in.
- 30:51And we give ourselves permissions and thinks that
- 30:54there's nothing wrong with it, friends.
- 30:56And we think that we can be tainted and that we can be mixed
- 31:00and that we can be Luke warm and that the holy God will dwell in
- 31:03US, friends. And far be it from us to ever
- 31:05compromise. If you want to be fully filled
- 31:09with the Holy Ghost, you must get rid of all of the
- 31:12worldliness that's inside of you.
- 31:14And it's OK for the boat to be in the water, but it is not OK
- 31:17for the water to be in the boat. Friends 17 Wherefore come out
- 31:26from among them and be you separate, says the Lord, and
- 31:31touch not the unclean thing, and I will receive you.
- 31:34This is where the accurate feeling of the Holy Ghost comes
- 31:38into a person is whenever they have stiffed, armed all the
- 31:42worldliness that's trying to come in to them.
- 31:46Friends And again, it's OK for us to go into the darkness.
- 31:49Friends, it is OK for us to be found in the darkest places on
- 31:54planet earth, but it is not OK to for the darkness to be found
- 31:58in US. And be careful when fighting
- 32:02demons, lest you become one. Friends, we need to be
- 32:08consecrated. This is an accurate picture of
- 32:11what it looks like to be consecrated.
- 32:14To be consecrated is to kick out all of the merchandise, to kick
- 32:19out all of the worldly systems, to kick out all of the demonic
- 32:24strongholds that are lording over your life, to get rid of
- 32:29them friends, to take them out into the streets and burn them.
- 32:33Rid your House of anything that is unclean and unprofitable and
- 32:38watch the Holy Ghost fill you. And not just a little bit, not
- 32:42just halfway, not just most of the way, but overflowing into
- 32:47the community, overflowing into your family, overflowing into
- 32:52the world at large. And he's telling us how to do
- 32:55it. It is to rid this temple of of
- 32:58all uncleanness. Friends, we'll end on 18 and
- 33:07we'll be a father unto you, and you shall be my sons and
- 33:12daughters, says the Lord Almighty.
- 33:17If you want the presence of God Almighty in your life, if you
- 33:20want the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome all evil in
- 33:25your life, then you must take the necessary steps to get rid
- 33:30of anything that is coming within your mind.
- 33:33Take every thought captive and make them obedient unto Christ.
- 33:38Get rid of all the external things that are plaguing you.
- 33:42You think that you can watch the filth and it doesn't affect you?
- 33:46Well you are wrong. You think that you can listen to
- 33:49all of the filth and it doesn't affect you, Well you are wrong.
- 33:53Friends, This is why we are eat up with so much anxiety and
- 33:58depression and suicidal thoughts.
- 34:00This is why we're eat up with so much anger and resentment and
- 34:04wrath. This is why we're eat up with
- 34:06all of the malice and deceit. Friends is because we have
- 34:11allowed demonic oppression and influence into the temple of
- 34:17God. And far be it from us to try to
- 34:20cohabitate Christ with Belial. I hope you've been blessed by
- 34:32this chapter. I know I sure have.
- 34:36What a beautiful picture it is to be the temple of God.
- 34:45Consecrate the temple today and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
- 34:52Christ deserves 100% of all your thought processes.
- 35:00Christ deserves 100% of all of your emotions.
- 35:08Christ deserves 100% of your adoration affection.
- 35:17Be entertained by him and not by the world system.
- 35:22Friends, do not be amused and just turn the brain off and be
- 35:28entertained by all kinds of different images that are coming
- 35:33in. Get rid of them friends.
- 35:36Get steeped and grounded in the Word of God.
- 35:40Sharpen the two edged sword. I'm praying for you.
- 35:58I love you. We'll see you back here
- 36:02tomorrow. God bless you.
