- 0:01Speaker 1: Hi, everybody. Welcome to another episode of By Order of
- 0:05Speaker 1: the Faithfuls. And we have an amazing co-host today. It's
- 0:09Speaker 1: Stephanie Sosa by Dancing with the Stars, the next pro.
- 0:16Speaker 1: She was amazing. We loved her. Stephanie is a professional dancer, choreographer,
- 0:21Speaker 1: and actress from Utah. She began performing at age five
- 0:25Speaker 1: and grew up alongside her brothers who share her same
- 0:27Speaker 1: passion for dance. Stephanie and her younger brother, Ezra... made
- 0:32Speaker 1: history together on So You Think You Can Dance season 16,
- 0:36Speaker 1: becoming the first brother and sister duo to reach the
- 0:39Speaker 1: top 10. In 2024, Stephanie joined Dancing with the Stars
- 0:44Speaker 1: season 33 as a troop member for one season in February, 2026.
- 0:50Speaker 1: She danced alongside Bad Bunny at the Super Bowl halftime show.
- 0:54Speaker 1: And later that year, she appeared as a contestant on
- 0:58Speaker 1: the spinoff series Dancing with the Stars Next Pro. Beyond dance,
- 1:02Speaker 1: Stephanie is also an accomplished singer and a vocal advocate
- 1:06Speaker 1: for fitness and mental wellness. She's amazing. So we'll bring
- 1:11Speaker 1: her in now and she is going to be the
- 1:13Speaker 1: best co-host ever. I am so excited. Hi, Stephanie.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Hi.
- 1:19Speaker 1: You're so pretty. I'm so excited. Don't tell me that.
- 1:22Speaker 3: You're pretty.
- 1:24Speaker 1: I love the glasses.
- 1:25Speaker 3: They're so cute.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Thank you. It's because I can't see, Stephanie. I love it.
- 1:31Speaker 3: I'm blind, too, but I wear contacts.
- 1:34Speaker 1: I can't put them in and out. I can't do
- 1:37Speaker 1: a lot of things that you can do. Dancing is
- 1:40Speaker 1: one of them. Thank you. I enjoyed you so much.
- 1:44Speaker 1: You were amazing. the hard work, the dedication you've put
- 1:48Speaker 1: in this your whole life. You've been dancing your whole
- 1:50Speaker 1: life with your family. I was rooting for you and
- 1:53Speaker 1: you are a winner. Thank you.
- 1:55Speaker 3: That means a lot.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Thank you so much. So thank you for coming on
- 1:58Speaker 1: with me. I love that you're the co-host. I know.
- 2:01Speaker 3: I was so excited when they sent me your Instagram.
- 2:03Speaker 3: I was like, I'm so down.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Yes. Okay. And you watched the finale.
- 2:07Speaker 4: Yes.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Oh, I can't wait to hear what you think. So
- 2:11Speaker 1: the finale is taking place in front of a live
- 2:14Speaker 1: studio audience. So I watched the whole season. I didn't
- 2:18Speaker 1: realize this was the first time it was a live
- 2:20Speaker 1: studio audience. I felt like it was live the whole time.
- 2:22Speaker 1: It wasn't.
- 2:23Speaker 3: No.
- 2:23Speaker 4: Yeah. We didn't have any audience. We just have the judges.
- 2:26Speaker 4: So it's crazy. Like they actually got experience, like what
- 2:30Speaker 4: it's like on the show when you, you know, go live.
- 2:32Speaker 1: So, right. I don't, I don't feel like, I mean,
- 2:36Speaker 1: do you feel it would be much different in front
- 2:39Speaker 1: of an audience? I feel like you guys never get
- 2:41Speaker 1: nervous or frazzled or, You're to me, my whole Instagram
- 2:46Speaker 1: is dogs, kids and dancing, dancing and professional dancing. I
- 2:53Speaker 1: just stare at it like I want to do it,
- 2:54Speaker 1: but I never do it. So what does it feel
- 2:56Speaker 1: like to be on that stage? It must have been
- 2:59Speaker 1: amazing and surreal.
- 3:01Speaker 3: It was crazy.
- 3:02Speaker 4: It was definitely, for me, very nerve-wracking because it felt
- 3:05Speaker 4: like life or death.
- 3:07Speaker 1: It kind of was, right? Yeah, no, it literally was.
- 3:10Speaker 4: But it was, yeah, it was amazing, especially to perform
- 3:13Speaker 4: for the judges. But I do wish that, you know,
- 3:16Speaker 4: we had a live audience the whole time because I
- 3:18Speaker 4: feel like it would have made a difference.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Like, just feeding off.
- 3:20Speaker 4: Of people clapping and just, like, it would have felt
- 3:23Speaker 4: like Dancing with the Stars, like, fully.
- 3:26Speaker 1: So you feel, okay, so you feel that it would
- 3:29Speaker 1: have been... better for you if there was a live
- 3:32Speaker 1: audience yeah I wouldn't have made you more nervous no
- 3:35Speaker 1: no I would have been excited yeah got it because
- 3:38Speaker 1: some people it makes them more nervous.
- 3:41Speaker 4: Yeah yeah I I love performing live so I was
- 3:43Speaker 4: like I would have it would have been nice.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Oh okay well you've done it a lot of times
- 3:49Speaker 1: I'm sure So dancers take the stage and warm up
- 3:53Speaker 1: the crowd before introducing Mark and Shirley Ballas, who dance
- 3:57Speaker 1: across the stage together. I have never seen them dance together.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Have you?
- 4:01Speaker 3: No, my first time ever.
- 4:02Speaker 1: It was pretty amazing.
- 4:04Speaker 3: It was so cute, too. And of course, she looks great.
- 4:08Speaker 3: She's so good.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Recently on Instagram, because I doom scroll all day, I
- 4:13Speaker 1: have to stop and break this habit up. So the
- 4:16Speaker 1: thing is, I saw her dancing in 1991. Did you
- 4:21Speaker 1: happen to come across that?
- 4:23Speaker 3: Oh, on like her old videos of her competing.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Like an old video. Have you seen it?
- 4:28Speaker 3: I've seen those videos. Yeah.
- 4:30Speaker 1: I have never seen that. She was unbelievable.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:35Speaker 3: She's the queen of Latin.
- 4:36Speaker 4: Like even if you aren't like dancing with stars fan,
- 4:39Speaker 4: like growing up, like ballroom competitors, like you wanted to
- 4:42Speaker 4: impress really like she was like, she's the queen.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Is she nice?
- 4:47Speaker 3: I have to ask.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Like, is she? Yeah.
- 4:50Speaker 4: I've known her for a long time, too. Like, when
- 4:52Speaker 4: I was a baby, because she, like, knew my family.
- 4:55Speaker 1: She's always been around, right?
- 4:56Speaker 4: She's been in the ballroom world, especially in Utah. So, yeah,
- 5:00Speaker 4: I love her. She's very, like, professional and knows who
- 5:04Speaker 4: she is. But that can be scary. But I think
- 5:07Speaker 4: she's so sweet. Like, she's such a great human.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Well, you grew up in a dancing home also. Were
- 5:12Speaker 1: your parents dancers?
- 5:14Speaker 3: No, they were soccer players.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Oh, okay. All right. I always wondered what it was
- 5:19Speaker 1: like to become what your parent was like Mark becoming
- 5:23Speaker 1: what his mom was like, what was breakfast like? Okay.
- 5:27Speaker 1: You know, you're going to dance.
- 5:28Speaker 4: Well, my dad really wanted us to be soccer players,
- 5:31Speaker 4: but we ended up being dancers.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Three of you have three siblings and you were all
- 5:35Speaker 1: in the dance.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Oh, that's pretty amazing. I want to come over for
- 5:39Speaker 1: dinner one day.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Yeah, come over. We only talk about dance. So maybe
- 5:42Speaker 3: you coming over would be a nice break.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Well, I want to get into it. So Derek Huff
- 5:47Speaker 1: is introduced as this week's guest judge. He gives Shirley
- 5:51Speaker 1: a spin before joining the judges. Now, when you look
- 5:55Speaker 1: at them, do you see the difference in like that
- 6:00Speaker 1: they're like way above everyone else? Or do you say like,
- 6:05Speaker 1: they're just the same as every other professional dancer. I
- 6:07Speaker 1: can't tell the difference because I'm not a professional.
- 6:10Speaker 4: Well, growing up, I idolized like Derek, like all the pros, Julianne.
- 6:15Speaker 4: And so I definitely like put like, I'm like, they're phenomenal.
- 6:18Speaker 4: Because for me, they were like, what I wanted to be.
- 6:21Speaker 4: So but now being able to like work with them,
- 6:23Speaker 4: or even just like being the same room with them.
- 6:24Speaker 3: It's an honor.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Like they're, I'm sure like they you looked up to them.
- 6:28Speaker 1: And now like, Yeah. What was it like?
- 6:30Speaker 4: We're like, we want to be the next Derek and Julianne,
- 6:33Speaker 4: but the Latin version, we would always just joke about that.
- 6:36Speaker 4: So it's just like, you know, it's so cool to
- 6:38Speaker 4: just be in the same room as them and be like, wow,
- 6:40Speaker 4: we really did idolize you guys so much.
- 6:43Speaker 1: They all seem so lovely and they really wanted, I
- 6:48Speaker 1: felt like they wanted everyone to win.
- 6:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 6:51Speaker 3: I feel like they, they want everybody to become the
- 6:54Speaker 3: best dancer.
- 6:55Speaker 1: They can best as they can. Yeah. Yeah. So Robert
- 6:58Speaker 1: does his entrance next. He's so cute. He makes me
- 7:01Speaker 1: laugh all the time. flanked by dancers as they move
- 7:05Speaker 1: across the stage Whitney Carson is lifted on to the
- 7:09Speaker 1: stage and it's announced that she'll be Robert's co-host tonight
- 7:13Speaker 1: they dance together they're like very close.
- 7:15Speaker 4: Yeah yeah because they won last season so right they're
- 7:19Speaker 4: they're honestly to me it's like so cute like sibling
- 7:21Speaker 4: like they're siblings.
- 7:22Speaker 1: I see that they're they're still really close I think
- 7:25Speaker 1: that you form a relationship when you go through something
- 7:28Speaker 1: like this together that lasts like You know, it's got
- 7:33Speaker 1: to be different to be able to win something and
- 7:37Speaker 1: for her to be with it. I just love seeing
- 7:39Speaker 1: them together again because I did watch last season.
- 7:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:42Speaker 1: And I'll be watching Sierra this season. I'm going to
- 7:44Speaker 1: see her. You are?
- 7:45Speaker 3: Well, you're amazing. I'll be there watching.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Oh, you will? Okay, we'll have to make sure it's
- 7:50Speaker 1: on the right time. Are you going to be there
- 7:51Speaker 1: the whole time?
- 7:52Speaker 4: I'm going to try to because, you know, Ezra's on
- 7:54Speaker 4: the show. So I was like, I need to be
- 7:55Speaker 4: a good sister and support him in every episode. So
- 7:58Speaker 4: I'm going to try to go to every episode.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Oh, I love that. So finally, the three remaining contestants
- 8:03Speaker 1: take the stage. Selena, Adele, and AJ are all introduced
- 8:07Speaker 1: and they join the big group number. Robert tells the
- 8:10Speaker 1: dancers that they will be performing two dances tonight. For
- 8:13Speaker 1: the first round, they will be able to choose any
- 8:16Speaker 1: ballroom Latin style to perform tonight. And for the second round,
- 8:20Speaker 1: they'll perform a freestyle just like they'll do on Dancing
- 8:23Speaker 1: with the Stars.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Yep.
- 8:25Speaker 1: So do you think they made the right choices all
- 8:28Speaker 1: for each one of them?
- 8:31Speaker 3: I think so.
- 8:32Speaker 4: I feel like as a dancer, your strategy is to
- 8:36Speaker 4: showcase what you're best at.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Your best.
- 8:39Speaker 4: So I think Selena did great by choosing contemporary because
- 8:42Speaker 4: that's her bag. And then the other two, they're more
- 8:45Speaker 4: ballroom trained. So I like that they were able to
- 8:47Speaker 4: create numbers that had mixed styles. But I definitely feel
- 8:50Speaker 4: like they chose correctly because I don't see them doing
- 8:53Speaker 4: any other freestyle.
- 8:53Speaker 3: They nailed it. They all nailed it.
- 8:55Speaker 4: It's so....
- 8:59Speaker 1: Hard to judge and it's down to the wires so
- 9:02Speaker 1: robert tells the contestants that they'll be paired with celebrities
- 9:06Speaker 1: who were able to reach or win dancing with the
- 9:08Speaker 1: stars finale selena's paired with the olympic figure skater and
- 9:12Speaker 1: champion of the 2018 athlete season adam ripon he's so nice.
- 9:18Speaker 4: Yeah he's so cutie too like he just seems like
- 9:20Speaker 4: a ball like it's so cute.
- 9:22Speaker 1: And I think this is honestly the most stressful because
- 9:25Speaker 1: if you get paired with someone that you really don't
- 9:27Speaker 1: have that chemistry with, it could be really, I felt
- 9:32Speaker 1: like by now the judges were pretty sure who they
- 9:35Speaker 1: thought was going to win.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:38Speaker 1: But anything can happen. Anything can change. And it was,
- 9:43Speaker 1: it's really hard that you have a partner you didn't
- 9:45Speaker 1: pick that's going to kind of make.
- 9:48Speaker 3: Determine your fate.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Determine your fate. So Adele's paired with 2020 finalist and
- 9:53Speaker 1: co-host of Catfish. AJ's paired with the 2022 Dancing with
- 9:57Speaker 1: the Stars champion and social media influencer. Charlie D'Amelio who
- 10:01Speaker 1: we all know is an amazing dancer TikTok queen she's
- 10:06Speaker 1: a TikTok queen she's been dancing her whole life I
- 10:09Speaker 1: know she was she danced when she was younger.
- 10:12Speaker 4: Yeah competitive like jazz contemporary dancer so yeah she's phenomenal
- 10:18Speaker 4: And she nailed it on Dancing with the Stars with Mark.
- 10:20Speaker 3: Like that pairing was perfect.
- 10:21Speaker 1: The thing with this is, which made me nervous for Adele,
- 10:24Speaker 1: even though they've been calling her the Rolls Royce, they've
- 10:27Speaker 1: been kind of setting her up to win. I felt
- 10:31Speaker 1: like when he got there and he was at, like
- 10:35Speaker 1: he had jet lag and he was tight. I was like,
- 10:39Speaker 1: oh no, she got like a kind of a dud.
- 10:42Speaker 1: I felt like he was the least trained dancer of
- 10:44Speaker 1: the three. And I wondered if they gave her that
- 10:49Speaker 1: to make it harder for, or that she could handle
- 10:52Speaker 1: it better. I don't know why or who they picked
- 10:56Speaker 1: to go with who, but it worked out for her
- 10:59Speaker 1: in the end. He really came through. No.
- 11:01Speaker 4: Yeah. And Adele is such a great teacher. She knows
- 11:03Speaker 4: her materials. So if anyone were to be able to
- 11:06Speaker 4: figure it out and like have like some sort of obstacle,
- 11:09Speaker 4: it'd be Adele for sure.
- 11:10Speaker 1: So, well, the fact that they only had three days
- 11:13Speaker 1: to make this work.
- 11:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 11:15Speaker 1: And two dances. And two dances. So he definitely nailed
- 11:21Speaker 1: the second one.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Yes.
- 11:23Speaker 1: But he came through. I wasn't sure. So Selena chose
- 11:27Speaker 1: to perform the jive for the first round. That's probably
- 11:30Speaker 1: my least favorite of all of them. Really?
- 11:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:35Speaker 3: I think it worked.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:36Speaker 3: She, I think she did phenomenal. Like the jive was
- 11:38Speaker 3: so entertaining.
- 11:39Speaker 4: Like she has that performance that like, you can't keep
- 11:41Speaker 4: your eyes off of her.
- 11:42Speaker 1: I love her.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:44Speaker 4: And I, yeah, it would have been super cool to
- 11:46Speaker 4: see her do maybe like another, another sort of Latin style,
- 11:49Speaker 4: but she nailed it.
- 11:49Speaker 3: She nailed that jive, but yeah.
- 11:52Speaker 1: That it wasn't that it wasn't the greatest dance. I
- 11:55Speaker 1: don't love the jive. So that's how I, that's how
- 11:58Speaker 1: I say, but she, she was a very nice teacher.
- 12:01Speaker 1: I felt like when I saw Adele teaching her, until
- 12:05Speaker 1: now she was nice to Neve, but in the past,
- 12:09Speaker 1: I thought that she was a little hard on when,
- 12:13Speaker 1: on the, you know, her partner, when she was teaching,
- 12:16Speaker 1: when they had the people that had no idea, did
- 12:19Speaker 1: you watch that episode?
- 12:21Speaker 4: I think it's, it's more of like a, I think
- 12:24Speaker 4: switching from that ballroom world into like the commercial TV
- 12:27Speaker 4: world is so different. And so I feel like she
- 12:29Speaker 4: did a really good way of like navigating that. I mean,
- 12:31Speaker 4: at first it's, you know, we're not used to seeing
- 12:34Speaker 4: those type of strict teachers anymore, dancing with stars. So,
- 12:36Speaker 4: but I think that she's, you know, finding it, you know,
- 12:39Speaker 4: cause you're also dealing with someone that's done this for
- 12:42Speaker 4: the first time and they want to have fun in
- 12:43Speaker 4: a good experience. So it's like finding that balance, but I'm,
- 12:47Speaker 4: I'm positive, like she'll find it. And, but at the
- 12:49Speaker 4: end of the day, her results, they look phenomenal. So
- 12:52Speaker 4: just find the process to, you know, becoming a pro
- 12:55Speaker 4: is hard too, because you learn so.
- 12:57Speaker 3: Much while even on the job.
- 12:58Speaker 4: So I'm excited to also see her just you know,
- 13:01Speaker 4: keep growing and seeing like how amazing of a pro
- 13:03Speaker 4: she can become.
- 13:03Speaker 3: So.
- 13:05Speaker 1: I think she's amazing. I don't know. I think she
- 13:08Speaker 1: has a really big future. She's only 20 years old. Yeah. Right.
- 13:13Speaker 3: She's like, yeah, she's, she is young, but I didn't.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Wow.
- 13:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:17Speaker 1: She's a star. She is. She's a star. And to
- 13:20Speaker 1: think of the struggles that she had when she was younger,
- 13:23Speaker 1: all their stories, all of your stories are, are unbelievable,
- 13:28Speaker 1: but during practice, Adam is very receptive to Selena's feedback,
- 13:33Speaker 1: but she makes sure to include affirmations as well. See,
- 13:36Speaker 1: that's what I, if somebody was teaching me, they'd have to,
- 13:40Speaker 1: otherwise I go downhill real quick, Stephanie. Yeah.
- 13:43Speaker 4: Yeah. And also everyone's learning styles are different. So when
- 13:47Speaker 4: you're given like a celebrity, you kind of have to
- 13:49Speaker 4: navigate their personality, see what they like, see if they
- 13:53Speaker 4: love tough critiques, see if they like.
- 13:55Speaker 3: Honestly, really like we're encouraging like courage.
- 13:58Speaker 1: You have to as a teacher, you do. You have
- 14:00Speaker 1: to figure out how that person you're teaching learns. Yeah.
- 14:04Speaker 4: Even when I was like doing, you know, the next
- 14:06Speaker 4: pro and I was working with Tristan, like teaching him
- 14:08Speaker 4: choreography and everything. I was trying to see what his
- 14:10Speaker 4: learning style was. So even as a pro, you're constantly
- 14:13Speaker 4: having to like navigate and switch things up so that
- 14:15Speaker 4: your celebrity becomes the best they can be because every
- 14:17Speaker 4: person is different.
- 14:18Speaker 3: So.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Right.
- 14:20Speaker 1: So Adele is 24, still very young.
- 14:24Speaker 3: She's very young.
- 14:25Speaker 1: So they perform their jive Candyman by Christina Aguilera. I
- 14:29Speaker 1: love Christina Aguilera. Mark calls Selena an electric dancer and performer,
- 14:34Speaker 1: but he reminds her that the jive is meant to incline.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Now explain to someone like me what that means.
- 14:42Speaker 4: So the jive inclining, meaning the energy is supposed to
- 14:45Speaker 4: like pick up. So the whole time it needs to
- 14:47Speaker 4: be elevating instead of it being like one energy, like
- 14:50Speaker 4: it needs to build. And it could be like a
- 14:53Speaker 4: slip action and jive, which is very much like it
- 14:56Speaker 4: looks like you're bouncing the whole time with a ball
- 14:58Speaker 4: of energy, but it's actually like a technique that you learn.
- 15:02Speaker 4: And so I think that was just missing like that,
- 15:04Speaker 4: like incline. But it was very entertaining regardless.
- 15:08Speaker 3: And she's phenomenal.
- 15:09Speaker 1: So she is. So Shirley applauds Selena for taking every
- 15:13Speaker 1: piece of constructive criticism they've given her and gives her
- 15:17Speaker 1: the nickname Miss Wow. I liked when she gave her
- 15:21Speaker 1: that they're like, well, there wasn't that wow moment and
- 15:24Speaker 1: I needed another wow moment or we had one, but
- 15:27Speaker 1: we could have had to, right?
- 15:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:29Speaker 1: That's a lot of what the judges, I feel this
- 15:32Speaker 1: season we're looking for. Yeah.
- 15:35Speaker 4: She definitely someone that can just like, she wows you
- 15:37Speaker 4: the whole time. Like I can't, I can't get my
- 15:39Speaker 4: eyes off her when I dance. So, I mean, when
- 15:41Speaker 4: she's dancing, so I'm like, yeah, she's Miss.
- 15:43Speaker 3: Wow for sure. And she can do all these like
- 15:46Speaker 3: cool tricks and, She's, she's a commercial dancer.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 15:49Speaker 4: So like when you're a commercial dancer, you know what
- 15:52Speaker 4: looks good on camera. You know how to wow an
- 15:55Speaker 4: audience because that's a lot of your job is because
- 15:57Speaker 4: you know you're dancing on TV or on stage live.
- 15:59Speaker 4: So she's very good at that because she grew up
- 16:02Speaker 4: training like, like in that way too.
- 16:04Speaker 3: So yeah, she's Miss Wow for sure.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Well, I'm glad that, yeah, they gave her, they gave
- 16:10Speaker 1: her great reviews and I feel like it was good.
- 16:13Speaker 1: She needed to hear that.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Competition is so hard right now. I'm sure they're all
- 16:18Speaker 1: looking at each other like, oh, that was better than me.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Right?
- 16:22Speaker 1: Is that how it feels when you're sitting on that
- 16:25Speaker 1: couch and you're watching it on the screen? You're like, oh, God.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Do you want to go first or last? I want
- 16:33Speaker 1: to go.
- 16:34Speaker 3: First because you set the standard perfectly. I don't know.
- 16:37Speaker 4: I love just going first, getting out of the way
- 16:39Speaker 4: and then being able to enjoy everybody else perform because
- 16:41Speaker 4: like the nerves having to sit there and like watch
- 16:43Speaker 4: everyone go. It's like you're so supportive at the same time.
- 16:46Speaker 4: You're like going through your moves in your head. It's
- 16:48Speaker 4: very stressful sometimes.
- 16:50Speaker 1: I can imagine. And yeah. So AJ and Charlie round one.
- 16:55Speaker 1: AJ chose the Viennese waltz for this round. When Charlie
- 17:00Speaker 1: performed this style on Dancing with the Stars, she received
- 17:03Speaker 1: a perfect score of 40. They performed the Ebeneez Waltz
- 17:08Speaker 1: to the Golden Hour by Jake. And Mark calls it
- 17:11Speaker 1: a solid performance. I thought it was amazing. What did
- 17:15Speaker 1: you think of it?
- 17:16Speaker 4: It was very beautiful. I mean, Charlie's also phenomenal, too.
- 17:19Speaker 4: So I think AJ lucked out on a very good.
- 17:22Speaker 3: Partner as well. It was a very good piece.
- 17:25Speaker 1: He's a strict teacher, too. Yeah.
- 17:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:35Speaker 1: So Shirley compliments AJ's technicality, but she wonders if he
- 17:39Speaker 1: got the most out of Charlie and her abilities. I
- 17:42Speaker 1: agreed with her.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Did you agree with that?
- 17:46Speaker 4: Yeah, just because it is Charlie D'Amelio and just being
- 17:50Speaker 4: able to see what she did with Mark on her
- 17:52Speaker 4: season of Dancing with Stars. She's capable of so much,
- 17:54Speaker 4: especially with her dance background. But it was a phenomenal piece.
- 17:58Speaker 4: But yeah, it would have been nice to see like
- 17:59Speaker 4: some more wow moments, I'd say, or just something that
- 18:02Speaker 4: really elevated who she was.
- 18:05Speaker 1: I have a question. So you've probably never stopped dancing,
- 18:09Speaker 1: but the, you know, I don't think the people coming
- 18:12Speaker 1: back dance every day. I don't know that that's something
- 18:15Speaker 1: they do all the time. And you have to wonder, like,
- 18:17Speaker 1: she's coming back after a year. Has she been dancing
- 18:19Speaker 1: every day? Has she been on TikTok every day? Like,
- 18:22Speaker 1: I don't know. I know the extent of the way
- 18:26Speaker 1: the professional dancers, the way you practice all day, nine
- 18:29Speaker 1: hours at a time, like you never stop. So I
- 18:32Speaker 1: feel like maybe they were a little rusty. I felt
- 18:35Speaker 1: like she was kind of a little stiff. I don't know.
- 18:37Speaker 1: It could be me because I can't even get up
- 18:39Speaker 1: right now.
- 18:41Speaker 4: No, I feel like she did a great job, especially
- 18:44Speaker 4: it's hard because it's a standard dance. So you kind
- 18:47Speaker 4: of have to be in frame the whole time and
- 18:49Speaker 4: you kind of have to like, you know, navigate that
- 18:51Speaker 4: and make it exciting. You know, standard, you have to
- 18:53Speaker 4: stay closed frame. But I think she did a great job.
- 18:56Speaker 4: And yeah, it's kind of hard to just put your
- 18:57Speaker 4: ballroom shoes back on after so many times, like so
- 19:00Speaker 4: much time. Right, that's what I'm, Even if you are
- 19:03Speaker 4: dancing like 10 hours a day, going back in a
- 19:06Speaker 4: ballroom is like a whole other world. And being in
- 19:09Speaker 4: the heels again for four hours, five hours a day
- 19:13Speaker 4: is a lot on the body. So yeah, having those
- 19:15Speaker 4: celebrities jump in that week in three days was crazy.
- 19:20Speaker 3: But they did amazing.
- 19:21Speaker 1: They did amazing. And I told you, Neve surprised me.
- 19:25Speaker 1: So Adele and Neve. chose the samba for this round.
- 19:30Speaker 1: That's her dance, isn't it?
- 19:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:33Speaker 1: She loves it. She loves it.
- 19:35Speaker 3: She looks great doing, she looks very sexy doing samba.
- 19:38Speaker 4: Yeah, definitely like Adele is samba.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Like that's her dance. When Neva arrives to practice, he
- 19:43Speaker 1: brings Adele a bouquet of flowers and never, he said
- 19:47Speaker 1: he never did the samba. I think the flowers were
- 19:50Speaker 1: to cushion the blow of telling her he's never did
- 19:53Speaker 1: the samba before. So this is a particularly difficult task
- 19:56Speaker 1: for Adele. Neve is jet lagged. So Adele stops practice
- 20:00Speaker 1: early so he can get some rest. I was like,
- 20:03Speaker 1: I honestly thought she was going to implode. She's like,
- 20:08Speaker 1: we're going to give him a rest.
- 20:09Speaker 4: I will say Samba is the hardest dance to learn
- 20:13Speaker 4: slash teach someone that's never done Samba. It's like the
- 20:16Speaker 4: heart for me, it's the hardest of the five Latin dances.
- 20:19Speaker 4: Cause that, that dance is very difficult to do. Cause
- 20:21Speaker 4: there's like a bounce action. There's a bounce action. That's
- 20:24Speaker 4: like really difficult to teach and it's very rhythmical. So
- 20:28Speaker 4: if you're, if you're not a dancer, if you're not
- 20:30Speaker 4: a rhythmical person and you, even if you don't have
- 20:32Speaker 4: any rhythm, it is so hard, but, uh, And so
- 20:36Speaker 4: I was very shocked that she chose Samba, but it
- 20:39Speaker 4: looked great. So I was like, yeah, I would be
- 20:41Speaker 4: nervous teaching someone Samba for the first time, like for
- 20:44Speaker 4: my finale dance.
- 20:45Speaker 1: I know. They didn't make it easy for her, I
- 20:49Speaker 1: feel like.
- 20:49Speaker 3: No, but she did it.
- 20:54Speaker 1: So they do it. They pull it off. They receive
- 20:57Speaker 1: a standing ovation from the judges. I always look to
- 21:00Speaker 1: see if they're going to get up after a dance.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Yeah, very telling.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Yes, it is very telling. Derek calls this Neve's redemption.
- 21:08Speaker 1: He says he would like to see more creativity in
- 21:11Speaker 1: the choreography, but the quality was there. Yeah. I mean,
- 21:15Speaker 1: Adele's quality. Would you agree with that?
- 21:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:18Speaker 3: Adele's quality is just out of this world. Yeah.
- 21:22Speaker 4: And then just, I think, again, just having to navigate,
- 21:25Speaker 4: you know, how you choreograph outside of TV film and
- 21:28Speaker 4: like there's no camera is very different than choreographing for camera.
- 21:32Speaker 4: But I feel like she'll be able to learn that
- 21:33Speaker 4: along the way. And it's just a skill you have
- 21:36Speaker 4: to develop. So doing, doing next pro for her was
- 21:40Speaker 4: perfect because now she's learning that. And now that she's
- 21:43Speaker 4: a pro that she's going to continue to learn that
- 21:45Speaker 4: and like grow.
- 21:46Speaker 3: So I'm excited.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Well, we'll see.
- 21:48Speaker 3: We'll see.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Cause right now they go, how long ago was this filmed?
- 21:53Speaker 3: Um, we filmed in February. So, or March, February time.
- 21:57Speaker 3: So it's been a couple months.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Yeah. It's been a couple months. And so it just ended, um,
- 22:04Speaker 1: And so they just when was the finale like in
- 22:07Speaker 1: real time?
- 22:08Speaker 3: I think it was March, like like August. And I
- 22:11Speaker 3: was like March, end of March, March 30th.
- 22:15Speaker 1: OK, so now she's getting ready and now she's going
- 22:18Speaker 1: to do this season. So there wasn't a lot of
- 22:19Speaker 1: time off. I don't think Adele's ever taken any time
- 22:22Speaker 1: off to tell you.
- 22:22Speaker 3: Oh, no, she's always dancing.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Oh, I'm sure. So so they call her the. The
- 22:29Speaker 1: Cobra Queen. She struck again tonight and he starts crumping
- 22:34Speaker 1: to explain what he wanted to see in their dance.
- 22:36Speaker 1: And Shirley says Adele's musicality is second to none. What
- 22:39Speaker 1: does musicality mean in this?
- 22:41Speaker 4: Musicality means being able to accentuate the rhythms and like
- 22:46Speaker 4: the beats in a song. So if you're able to
- 22:48Speaker 4: watch a routine and you really hear the music, then
- 22:51Speaker 4: they're using the musicality correctly. Because the whole point of
- 22:54Speaker 4: choreographing to music is to really show the beats of
- 22:57Speaker 4: the song. So like you'll hear them exactly hit, you know,
- 23:00Speaker 4: choreography that like matches it and it brings the song
- 23:02Speaker 4: to life.
- 23:03Speaker 3: So she has really good musicality. She's able to bring
- 23:05Speaker 3: that to life.
- 23:07Speaker 1: Robert sits down with the dancers and I really like
- 23:09Speaker 1: this because it showed Adele's the first time I saw
- 23:13Speaker 1: her vulnerability.
- 23:15Speaker 3: Yeah, I agree.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Selena came on the show to inspire girls that look
- 23:20Speaker 1: like her and prove that this dream is possible. And
- 23:24Speaker 1: she did just that.
- 23:26Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 23:27Speaker 1: I really agree. Adele gets emotional telling Robert that when
- 23:30Speaker 1: she was 13, she had scoliosis and she had to
- 23:34Speaker 1: wear a brace 20 hours out of the day. And
- 23:38Speaker 1: if she didn't, she wouldn't be able to dance again.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Having said that, the four hours that it was off,
- 23:44Speaker 1: she would dance the whole time.
- 23:45Speaker 4: Yeah, that made me cry listening to that because I
- 23:48Speaker 4: know what that's like to have dance be like your
- 23:50Speaker 4: everything or your way out of whatever situation you're in.
- 23:54Speaker 4: So I just I saw a different side to Adele.
- 23:57Speaker 4: And I'm just so happy that she's had the success
- 23:59Speaker 4: because she really she really worked hard for it.
- 24:02Speaker 1: She really did. And, you know, she doesn't get emotional
- 24:05Speaker 1: even when she won. Like, we'll get to that. But
- 24:08Speaker 1: I'd like to see her break. And I think by
- 24:11Speaker 1: now they're so tired physically. And I mean, I think
- 24:15Speaker 1: you guys were tired like six episodes ago.
- 24:18Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, we were.
- 24:21Speaker 1: It takes such a toll. And emotionally too. So AJ
- 24:26Speaker 1: says his family couldn't afford to fund dancing, but he
- 24:29Speaker 1: did mention that there was a wealthy woman that ended
- 24:33Speaker 1: up funding him so that he could do this. And
- 24:37Speaker 1: the last conversation he had with her was take every opportunity.
- 24:43Speaker 1: So I felt like, oh, there was just somebody that
- 24:47Speaker 1: in his life that gave him a chance that he
- 24:49Speaker 1: wouldn't have normally had. There's so much talent out there.
- 24:55Speaker 1: I've seen it so much, but they don't get that
- 24:57Speaker 1: one person that steps up to the plate and says,
- 25:00Speaker 1: let me help you. And it was really like, I
- 25:06Speaker 1: thought to myself, wow, look at where you are now,
- 25:08Speaker 1: just because one person helped you. And he appreciates her,
- 25:12Speaker 1: you could tell. Selena and AJ round two. Selena calls
- 25:16Speaker 1: their freestyle a gritty contemporary fusion. During practice, Adam applauded
- 25:21Speaker 1: Selena for how she handled the stress. He already sees
- 25:25Speaker 1: her as one of the pros. I love their chemistry.
- 25:27Speaker 3: Yeah, they were very fun to watch. Very cute together.
- 25:30Speaker 1: And this, I thought that this routine, this dance was amazing.
- 25:36Speaker 1: And I love, of course, this. Justin Timberlake yeah.
- 25:39Speaker 3: That when I heard that song come on I was
- 25:41Speaker 3: like oh.
- 25:42Speaker 2: That's a good freestyle song and here we get our
- 25:45Speaker 2: our standing ovation from the judges which I wanted them
- 25:49Speaker 2: I was waiting during the the dance I'm like please
- 25:52Speaker 2: give them a standing ovation they're so good yeah so Mark.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Quotes Hamilton when praising Selena saying let's get this girl
- 26:00Speaker 1: in front of a crowd yeah Shirley's in awe. She says,
- 26:06Speaker 1: if this was performed on Dancing with the Stars finale,
- 26:09Speaker 1: it would be considered one of the best. Derek said
- 26:11Speaker 1: she'd been an instant fan favorite if she were to
- 26:14Speaker 1: join Dancing with the Stars tomorrow. I believe that. She
- 26:18Speaker 1: has such a warm heart. And she's so humble. And
- 26:24Speaker 1: I just, I love the way she interacts with everybody. Yeah.
- 26:28Speaker 3: And she dances amazing, too.
- 26:31Speaker 1: She is so amazing. So I really hope to see
- 26:34Speaker 1: her in the future. You know, timing is everything. And
- 26:36Speaker 1: I'm sure we'll see her. I feel like just making
- 26:39Speaker 1: it as far as all of you guys have, you won.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:44Speaker 4: Timing is everything on the show, too. So I feel
- 26:46Speaker 4: like when it's a line for her, it's going to
- 26:48Speaker 4: be she's going to be in such a great profile.
- 26:58Speaker 1: AJ and Charlie round two, their freestyle is a combination
- 27:01Speaker 1: of every single thing that AJ has learned throughout his process.
- 27:05Speaker 1: He made it as hard as possible, even for a professional.
- 27:09Speaker 1: He's lucky he had Charlie to do that because she
- 27:13Speaker 1: was able to handle it. They're dancing to bad man
- 27:17Speaker 1: by pitbull. They received a standing, another standing ovation from
- 27:20Speaker 1: the judges.
- 27:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:23Speaker 1: So I was, I was totally in awe of this
- 27:26Speaker 1: dance too. Yeah.
- 27:27Speaker 4: I was very, I liked the, they had extra dancers
- 27:30Speaker 4: in there too. Really did make it feel like a
- 27:32Speaker 4: free dancing with stars freestyle.
- 27:34Speaker 3: And he did.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Yeah. Now weren't you also a dancer on dancing with
- 27:39Speaker 1: the stars? Yes.
- 27:41Speaker 3: I was on their troop two seasons ago. So yeah.
- 27:45Speaker 1: What was that like?
- 27:46Speaker 3: Oh my God. It was amazing. It was like living
- 27:49Speaker 3: my dream. Like I, it was crazy. Cause that was
- 27:52Speaker 3: Ezra's first year as a pro.
- 27:53Speaker 4: And then I was on troop and it was so
- 27:55Speaker 4: fun to be able to like do the, the bumpers
- 27:58Speaker 4: and do like, you know, duets. And I did a
- 28:01Speaker 4: lot of like little demonstrations with Ezra, with Derek. And
- 28:04Speaker 4: it was just, it was so, it was so, it
- 28:06Speaker 4: was like my dream. I was living my dream. It
- 28:08Speaker 4: was so fun.
- 28:09Speaker 1: Good for you. That must've been amazing.
- 28:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 28:11Speaker 1: Shirley's always wanted AJ to jam pack a routine and
- 28:15Speaker 1: he did just that. So he, he got the memo.
- 28:18Speaker 1: I know they've been telling him this the whole time and,
- 28:22Speaker 1: and he did get the most out of Charlie. Like
- 28:24Speaker 1: they've told him to, she's a great dancer. Get the
- 28:26Speaker 1: most you can. Derek says their side-by-side look like something
- 28:30Speaker 1: out of a Broadway play. Did you believe that?
- 28:32Speaker 3: Yeah, it was so cute. Like very cute.
- 28:34Speaker 2: Yes.
- 28:35Speaker 1: And Mark's impressed by what they were able to accomplish
- 28:38Speaker 1: in such a short amount of time. I mean, he
- 28:42Speaker 1: was a very close second here.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:46Speaker 1: I have to say. Adele and Neve round two. Adele
- 28:49Speaker 1: tells Neve that she was a hardcore introvert before this.
- 28:54Speaker 1: So the show has really changed her for the better.
- 28:57Speaker 1: I have to say, Stephanie, she grew on me.
- 29:01Speaker 3: Yeah, she grew on me too.
- 29:04Speaker 4: Like living in the house, like first week altogether, she
- 29:07Speaker 4: was very closed off. So I didn't really know her
- 29:09Speaker 4: energy and her vibe. But I feel like every single
- 29:12Speaker 4: week she started to open up to us and she
- 29:14Speaker 4: felt comfortable. I think people forget that she came from
- 29:17Speaker 4: the ballroom world and that is very cutthroat and competitive.
- 29:21Speaker 3: And you kind of have to like watch your back
- 29:22Speaker 3: because it's scary. Like everybody's like wanting to win.
- 29:26Speaker 1: So- Like the housewife shows. Yeah.
- 29:29Speaker 3: No, actually. Yeah.
- 29:30Speaker 2: No.
- 29:32Speaker 4: So like I go back to sometimes I'm like, do
- 29:34Speaker 4: I want to compete again? I'm like, I don't know
- 29:35Speaker 4: if mentally I could do that because it's very scary.
- 29:37Speaker 3: But yeah.
- 29:38Speaker 1: You could do it. I know. I'll have your back.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Do it. Definitely do it.
- 29:43Speaker 2: Yes.
- 29:43Speaker 4: So I think just like being on the show, like
- 29:45Speaker 4: she's she she realized like, I don't know, like a
- 29:49Speaker 4: lot about herself and all of us. We were also
- 29:51Speaker 4: like welcoming each other. We really did like create this
- 29:54Speaker 4: like family bond. And I think she started to open
- 29:56Speaker 4: up and then the dancing on top of it is
- 29:58Speaker 4: so intimate that And you're telling your story through dance.
- 30:00Speaker 3: And that's just so healing.
- 30:02Speaker 4: And I think she's starting to figure out who she
- 30:05Speaker 4: is outside of being a ballroom dancer, which I think
- 30:07Speaker 4: is so beautiful. So I think you guys were able
- 30:09Speaker 4: to actually see who she really was. And I love her.
- 30:13Speaker 4: She's been so sweet to me even after the show
- 30:15Speaker 4: and everything. So I'm very proud of her.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Oh, I'm so happy. And I'm so happy that we
- 30:22Speaker 1: all finally got to know her and got through that
- 30:25Speaker 1: tough exterior because... I wanted to really like her more
- 30:30Speaker 1: because she's so beautiful. She's an amazing dancer. I'm like,
- 30:33Speaker 1: don't be so tough, but I get it. Now that
- 30:36Speaker 1: you explained that I get, I understand why she was
- 30:39Speaker 1: like that because she's always had to be like that. Yeah.
- 30:42Speaker 4: Especially if she grew up competing from when she was
- 30:44Speaker 4: baby till now, like that's all she's ever known.
- 30:47Speaker 1: So. And it's probably very lonely too. There's no time
- 30:51Speaker 1: for friends. There's no time outside of this life. If
- 30:54Speaker 1: you want to be the best, The sacrifice people don't
- 30:58Speaker 1: understand is that your whole life is just that.
- 31:02Speaker 3: Yeah, there's nothing.
- 31:03Speaker 4: And then sometimes for people like her, that's all she has.
- 31:07Speaker 3: So it's like life or death for her.
- 31:10Speaker 1: Well, she treated it like it was. So Adele is
- 31:13Speaker 1: having them do a Paso with a twist. They're dancing
- 31:16Speaker 1: to natural by imagine dragons, which was amazing. They also
- 31:20Speaker 1: receive a standing ovation from the judges. Derek loved their
- 31:23Speaker 1: style of dance because it made them stand out. He says,
- 31:27Speaker 1: if Adele were to join dancing with the stars, she
- 31:29Speaker 1: would elevate the rest of the cast. That was a
- 31:32Speaker 1: huge compliment. Yeah.
- 31:35Speaker 3: I think it's her quality too.
- 31:38Speaker 4: Like just being able to have somebody fresh off the
- 31:40Speaker 4: competition floor is amazing. It's very it's nice because she
- 31:44Speaker 4: her quality is just like fresh and ready to go.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Right. Exactly. Yeah. And I feel like she made him
- 31:52Speaker 1: an amazing dancer when he showed up. I was like, yeah, he's.
- 31:57Speaker 3: Like, I'm not buying it.
- 31:59Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, geez, she's she's not sleeping tonight thinking,
- 32:02Speaker 1: what did I get? She made him good.
- 32:05Speaker 3: So I'm sure that's a good teacher.
- 32:08Speaker 1: That's a good teacher. So I'm curious to see this
- 32:11Speaker 1: will be her first year. Yeah. I'm excited.
- 32:14Speaker 3: I'm so excited to see like, yeah, this is going
- 32:17Speaker 3: to be amazing.
- 32:18Speaker 1: It is going to be amazing. Mark says Adele's giving
- 32:21Speaker 1: them hell. He loved both dances she showcased tonight. Mark's
- 32:25Speaker 1: the biggest fan of her.
- 32:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:29Speaker 1: Mark has Maura Higgins this year. Oh, yeah.
- 32:33Speaker 3: Her accent is perfect.
- 32:35Speaker 1: It is so funny. You know, my my fiance is
- 32:37Speaker 1: from Dublin. Oh, really? I know that accent. Yeah.
- 32:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:41Speaker 4: It's like so cute. I'm like, please keep saying Mark's name.
- 32:45Speaker 4: Just keep saying it like all of rehearsal, please.
- 32:47Speaker 1: Yeah, she's she's so cute. Shirley recognizes that Adele forces
- 32:52Speaker 1: her partners to work hard, but it's all paid off,
- 32:55Speaker 1: just like you said in the beginning.
- 32:59Speaker 4: It's it's the payoff is everything. So sometimes the process
- 33:02Speaker 4: can be scary to get there. But learning that process
- 33:05Speaker 4: is going to be her.
- 33:06Speaker 3: She's going to do great.
- 33:07Speaker 1: I feel like what would she do with me? That
- 33:09Speaker 1: would be the biggest challenge of her life.
- 33:11Speaker 3: So I'm like, no, you need to dance with us.
- 33:13Speaker 3: Like he'll bring out the best in you.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Really? Yes.
- 33:16Speaker 3: He will.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Yes.
- 33:17Speaker 3: But you guys would be so good together.
- 33:20Speaker 1: I'm going to find him.
- 33:21Speaker 2: Yes.
- 33:22Speaker 4: I'm going to, I'm going to reach out to him.
- 33:24Speaker 1: I will reach out to him. So finally Shirley announces
- 33:28Speaker 1: that the third place winner is Selena. I kind of
- 33:31Speaker 1: thought so.
- 33:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:34Speaker 1: But she handled it so well.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 33:38Speaker 4: And I think it's hard to, because the other two
- 33:41Speaker 4: are such trained ballroom dancers. And I think that's like,
- 33:45Speaker 4: if she's able to just go back and train and
- 33:47Speaker 4: like really learn the technique and know it's enough to
- 33:49Speaker 4: translate it and just really, you know, elevate somebody like,
- 33:53Speaker 4: and even though she did that already on the show, like,
- 33:55Speaker 4: I think she's going to be so unstoppable. So yeah,
- 33:58Speaker 4: but I thought she killed it and I loved her freestyle.
- 34:00Speaker 3: It was, it was, it was so good.
- 34:03Speaker 1: I loved it too. Um, and I, and I do
- 34:06Speaker 1: think we'll see a lot more of her.
- 34:07Speaker 3: No, for sure. Yeah.
- 34:08Speaker 4: A lot of her dances too. Like I couldn't stop
- 34:10Speaker 4: watching online too. They'd go viral. And I was like, that,
- 34:13Speaker 4: that's a good choreographer. That's a good, that's what makes
- 34:16Speaker 4: a good pro.
- 34:16Speaker 1: So do you feel like she's been dancing the least
- 34:21Speaker 1: amount of time out of the three of them?
- 34:23Speaker 4: I feel like, um, she's been training dance her whole life,
- 34:26Speaker 4: but specifically ballroom in Latin.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:29Speaker 4: Because the other two had been doing that their whole life.
- 34:32Speaker 4: So she just recently caught on to Ballroom. And if
- 34:35Speaker 4: she's able to do that with a little amount of time, imagine.
- 34:38Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. For the two remaining dancers, AJ and Adele,
- 34:42Speaker 1: the judges not only took tonight's performances into account, but
- 34:46Speaker 1: they're looking at the entire competition. Shirley announces that the
- 34:50Speaker 1: next pro is Adele. I was like, oh, I was
- 34:53Speaker 1: happy and I knew it. But I knew like AJ,
- 34:57Speaker 1: I really felt he thought he was going to win.
- 35:02Speaker 3: Oh, really?
- 35:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:05Speaker 3: He definitely has that confidence in him.
- 35:07Speaker 1: That's right. And he should, as he should. Yeah. AJ
- 35:12Speaker 1: received second place. He loves being able to perform in
- 35:15Speaker 1: the finale with Charlie, but he admits he's devastated. Adele
- 35:19Speaker 1: feels like all of her sacrifices have paid off for
- 35:22Speaker 1: this moment. I mean, it was so beautiful. And Adele
- 35:28Speaker 1: was so calm about winning.
- 35:30Speaker 3: I know if it were me, I'd be like crying.
- 35:33Speaker 3: I dropped it.
- 35:33Speaker 4: I was like, I wouldn't, I wouldn't be shaky. Like,
- 35:37Speaker 4: but she, she just held it together. Very classy, very demure.
- 35:41Speaker 3: I was like, yes.
- 35:43Speaker 1: In her Adele fashion.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Yes.
- 35:45Speaker 1: She just went, won the biggest thing of her life.
- 35:48Speaker 1: And she's just like, so cool about it.
- 35:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 35:52Speaker 3: I'm like, that's, that's a very, just put together girl.
- 35:55Speaker 3: I love it.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. So this week we found out who her
- 35:58Speaker 1: partner is. So it's the Connor Levitt from Secret Lives
- 36:03Speaker 1: of Mormon Wives. He's Whitney Levitt's husband and she competed
- 36:07Speaker 1: last season.
- 36:07Speaker 2: Yes.
- 36:09Speaker 1: That's nice that they have him now. Let's see how
- 36:11Speaker 1: he does. But he got the Rolls Royce.
- 36:15Speaker 3: Yeah, no, he got like the fresh Rolls Royce.
- 36:17Speaker 4: And on top of that, he did dance a routine
- 36:21Speaker 4: last season. He did like a trio on the show.
- 36:23Speaker 4: They invited him to for one of the dedication nights
- 36:27Speaker 4: and he looked like a dancer. So I think those
- 36:30Speaker 4: two are going to look amazing. Like if he was
- 36:32Speaker 4: able to do that contemporary routine and look amazing, like
- 36:36Speaker 4: I'm excited to see what Adele can do with him
- 36:38Speaker 4: and just transform him as a dancer. Like I'm so,
- 36:41Speaker 4: I'm so genuinely curious and like rooting for her too.
- 36:43Speaker 3: So I love it.
- 36:45Speaker 1: So who do you think knowing anything or knowing what
- 36:49Speaker 1: you know, who do you think is going to win?
- 36:52Speaker 1: Could you say yet?
- 36:53Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 36:54Speaker 4: Cause you have like Jenna Dwan on there. You have
- 36:57Speaker 4: the guy from Glee. I forgot his name. There's so
- 37:01Speaker 4: many front runners.
- 37:02Speaker 3: I have no idea.
- 37:03Speaker 4: I feel like after the first like premiere episodes, we're
- 37:08Speaker 4: going to have like more of an understanding of like, okay,
- 37:11Speaker 4: front runners. But right now it's like, I have no idea.
- 37:14Speaker 4: Cause there's like, like half of them are big dance.
- 37:16Speaker 4: So it's going to be so interesting. And yeah. I,
- 37:19Speaker 4: you know, Ezra and Julia, I feel like they're going to,
- 37:22Speaker 4: I've seen some little clips and I'm like very excited
- 37:25Speaker 4: for that.
- 37:26Speaker 1: Really? Okay.
- 37:27Speaker 4: I'm like, you guys are going to be genuinely, I mean,
- 37:30Speaker 4: you guys are already going to be excited and, but like,
- 37:32Speaker 4: I think you guys are going to be very, very surprised.
- 37:34Speaker 3: So I'm excited for that.
- 37:36Speaker 1: Well, thank you so much, Steph. I am so excited.
- 37:39Speaker 1: It's going to be my first time at Dancing with
- 37:41Speaker 1: the Stars. So I really hope I see you. We
- 37:43Speaker 1: have to stay in touch. Yes, please. So that I
- 37:45Speaker 1: get to see you there. We'll have you on again
- 37:48Speaker 1: and we'll have to talk about what's going on.
- 37:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I would love to.
- 37:51Speaker 1: Yes. Thank you so much. And I, again, thank you
- 37:54Speaker 1: for coming on. Where can we find you? Where can
- 37:56Speaker 1: everybody here find you?
- 37:58Speaker 4: Oh, yes.
- 37:58Speaker 3: Stephie Chica on TikTok and Instagram.
- 38:01Speaker 1: All right, Steffi Chica.
- 38:04Speaker 3: Gotta rub the Latinas.
- 38:06Speaker 1: Yeah, we will. We will see you soon.
- 38:09Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 38:09Speaker 1: Bye.
- 38:10Speaker 2: Bye.
