Speaker 4: pipe bomber in Washington, d C. Has been caught and
• 1:04

Speaker 4: forty seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
• 3:06
  Speaker 3: Story number one.
• 3:08
Speaker 4: The Supreme Court handing Donald Trump a massive victory when
• 3:13
Speaker 4: it comes to redistricting in Texas, a sweeping legal and
• 3:17
Speaker 4: political victory with big implications for the twenty twenty six
• 3:22
Speaker 4: midterms and the twenty twenty eight presidential election cycle. Now,
• 3:27
Speaker 4: the left lost their minds over what Texas was doing
• 3:30
Speaker 4: with redistricting, and they decided to sue.
• 3:34
  Speaker 5: Well, guess what.
• 3:35
Speaker 4: The Supreme Court delivered a significant victory for not only
• 3:39
Speaker 4: the president of the United States of America, but also
• 3:42
Speaker 4: for states rights ruling to affirm the Texas Congressional redistricting map.
• 3:47
Speaker 4: The decision effectively upholds the state's current district lines, rejecting
• 3:53
Speaker 4: efforts to overturn them by the radical left, and giving
• 3:57
Speaker 4: Republicans a clear path to maintain and potentially even expand
• 4:02
Speaker 4: their political advantage in one of the nation's largest and
• 4:06
Speaker 4: fastest growing states, which is extremely important for controlling Congress
• 4:11
Speaker 4: and also the White House. Let me talk to you
• 4:14
Speaker 4: about the takeaways. Number one. Not only was this the
• 4:17
Speaker 4: massive win for Trump in the election strategy, but the
• 4:21
Speaker 4: ruling validates the same redistricting principles that Trump and the
• 4:25
Speaker 4: GOP leaders have defended for years, that state sovereignty, constitutional authority,
• 4:31
Speaker 4: and legislature's power to draw maps without federal interference. The
• 4:37
Speaker 4: second victory here was GOP's strength in the critical battleground
• 4:42
Speaker 4: for the country. The upheld map solidifies not only Republican
• 4:47
Speaker 4: advantages in multiple key districts, protecting the gains that have
• 4:51
Speaker 4: been made under President Trump's leadership, in saying the stage
• 4:54
Speaker 4: for even stronger conservative performance in twenty twenty six and
• 4:59
Speaker 4: twenty twenty eight. Eight, the court rejected the challenge that
• 5:02
Speaker 4: could have undone years of GOP progress. By refusing to
• 5:07
Speaker 4: strite down the Texas Map, the court shut down a
• 5:10
Speaker 4: major legal challenge that could have unraveled Republican leaning districts
• 5:14
Speaker 4: across the state. Now this ensures political stability and predictability
• 5:19
Speaker 4: and continuity for the next several election cycles. It also
• 5:23
Speaker 4: reinforces the constitutional vision the Trumpet champion and what he
• 5:28
Speaker 4: ran on. The majority opinion signals strong support for the
• 5:32
Speaker 4: constitutional framework Conservatives have been defending states, not Washington bureaucrats
• 5:38
Speaker 4: or activist groups control the redistricting. It's also just a
• 5:43
Speaker 4: huge momentum boost for Texas Republicans. With the map locked in,
• 5:48
Speaker 4: Republican tendants can now run confidently and aggressively, knowing the
• 5:53
Speaker 4: courts will not be used to undermine their districts. This
• 5:57
Speaker 4: ruling effectively gives a GOP a green light to build
• 6:00
Speaker 4: even bigger majorities. And then there's the political impact. Not
• 6:04
Speaker 4: only does it strengthen Trump's national influence, but it also
• 6:08
Speaker 4: provides again for his judicial legacy in shaping the country.
• 6:12
Speaker 4: It also secures Texas as a GOP fortress, which is
• 6:17
Speaker 4: extremely important when it comes to the presidential election and
• 6:20
Speaker 4: making Democrats pick up efforts even harder than before. It
• 6:25
Speaker 4: also boosts fundraising and kennet recruitment since the districts are
• 6:29
Speaker 4: now stable and also favorable. It eliminates uncertainty that could
• 6:34
Speaker 4: have disrupted campaigns heading into the midterms as well, that
• 6:37
Speaker 4: was part of the democratic strategy of chaos. And it
• 6:41
Speaker 4: affirms conservative legal arguments on separation of powers and states' rights.
• 6:47
Speaker 4: The bottom line is the Supreme Court didn't just hand
• 6:50
Speaker 4: Texas Republicans a win. It delivered one of the most
• 6:53
Speaker 4: consequential redistricting victories of the decade, reinforcing President Trump's long
• 6:59
Speaker 4: term our political strategy and submitting Conservatives control in the
• 7:04
Speaker 4: country's most important red state. This is a massive victory
• 7:09
Speaker 4: for President Trump and for the rule of law and
• 7:12
  Speaker 4: states rights.
• 7:14
Speaker 3: Now, story number two, we're.
• 7:15
Speaker 4: Getting more information about exactly what happened with the DC
• 7:19
Speaker 4: pipe bomber and how he was finally arrested, And we're
• 7:23
Speaker 4: also learning the shocking news that there was no new
• 7:26
Speaker 4: tip that came in that caused the arrest to happen.
• 7:29
Speaker 4: It was actually just information that hadn't been pursued or
• 7:34
Speaker 4: information that hadn't been put together with evidence by the
• 7:38
Speaker 4: prior administration and the FBI. What we now know is
• 7:42
Speaker 4: there's a man that's been charged for planting explosive devices
• 7:46
Speaker 4: outside the RNC and the DNC on January the fifth
• 7:50
Speaker 4: of twenty twenty one. And the only reason why we
• 7:54
Speaker 4: know who he is now is because Donald Trump and
• 7:57
Speaker 4: the men and women put in charge of the FBI
• 7:59
Speaker 4: and the DOJ, they are now able to do their
• 8:01
Speaker 4: jobs the right way, which is law enforcement work in
• 8:05
Speaker 4: fighting crime. The Attorney General Pam Bondi putting it this way, Brian.
• 8:10
Speaker 5: Cole Junior was arrested and charged with placing the pipe
• 8:14
Speaker 5: bombs at the RNC and the DNC on January fifth,
• 8:20
Speaker 5: twenty twenty one. He has been charged with violating eighteen USC.
• 8:24
Speaker 5: Eight forty four, which is use of an explosive device.
• 8:29
Speaker 5: This investigation is ongoing as we speak. Search warrants are
• 8:33
Speaker 5: being executed, and there could be more charges to come.
• 8:38
Speaker 5: Today's arrest happened because the Trump administration has made this
• 8:43
Speaker 5: case a priority. The total lack of movement on this
• 8:48
Speaker 5: case in our nation's capital undermined the public trust of
• 8:54
Speaker 5: our enforcement agencies. This cold case languished for four years
• 9:02
Speaker 5: until Director Patel and Deputy Director Bongino came to the FBI.
• 9:09
Speaker 5: The FBI, along with US Attorney Puro and all of
• 9:13
Speaker 5: our prosecutors, have worked tirelessly for months sifting through evidence
• 9:20
Speaker 5: that had been sitting at the FBI with the Biden
• 9:24
Speaker 5: administration for four long years. Let me be clear, there
• 9:29
Speaker 5: was no new tip, there was no new witness, just good,
• 9:34
Speaker 5: diligent police work and prosecutorial work working as a team
• 9:40
Speaker 5: along with atf Capitol Police, Metropolitan Police Department, and of
• 9:46
Speaker 5: course the FBI. We are working every day to restore
• 9:51
Speaker 5: the public's trust. We hope that today is a significant
• 9:55
Speaker 5: step towards that progress. We'll share more information when when
• 10:01
Speaker 5: we can and when it unfolds. I cannot stress enough
• 10:05
Speaker 5: how hard Director Patel and Deputy Director Bonngino have worked
• 10:10
Speaker 5: for months to make our nation's capital safer and to
• 10:15
Speaker 5: make our country safer.
• 10:16
Speaker 4: You listen to Pam Bondi in what she had to
• 10:19
Speaker 4: say there, it's truly incredible that there was no new
• 10:23
Speaker 4: information that actually led to this arrest. Cash Battel saying
• 10:28
Speaker 4: this as well on TV in an interview.
• 10:32
Speaker 1: So you know, there's been some uncertainty, you know, certainly online,
• 10:35
  Speaker 1: so I don't know what's real and what's not Sometimes
• 10:37
Speaker 1: it's a little hard to follow, but on when these
• 10:39
Speaker 1: devices were actually planted. You know, does this arrest crystallize
• 10:43
Speaker 1: the timeline at all in terms of, you know, the
• 10:46
Speaker 1: sequence of events that's sort of been you know, up
• 10:48
Speaker 1: in the air again, you know, especially online.
• 10:50
  Speaker 3: It absolutely does.
• 10:50
Speaker 6: And I don't want to get ahead of the Department
• 10:52
Speaker 6: of Justice, but you're going to see a crystal clear
• 10:54
Speaker 6: timeline and picture in the next twenty four hours when
• 10:57
Speaker 6: this individual makes his presentment and first appearance in court
• 11:00
Speaker 6: and we proceed with the paperwork to his arraignment. That's
• 11:03
Speaker 6: where key pieces of information are going to be made
• 11:05
Speaker 6: public for the first time, because that's where key pieces
• 11:08
Speaker 6: of information legally must be made public for the first time.
• 11:11
Speaker 6: And we're not going to disrupt that process because that
• 11:13
Speaker 6: would hurt the integrity of investigation and most importantly, it
• 11:16
Speaker 6: would hurt the integrity of the prosecution that's upcoming.
• 11:19
Speaker 4: You listen to Cashptel and what he's saying is you're
• 11:22
Speaker 4: getting transparency. He also made it clear and this was
• 11:26
Speaker 4: a Cashptel tweet. When Dan bond Gino and I came
• 11:29
Speaker 4: to the FBI in March, the pipe bomb investigation installed
• 11:33
Speaker 4: for going on five years. We rebuilt it from scratch,
• 11:37
Speaker 4: rerunning every lead, retesting every piece of evidence, bring in
• 11:41
Speaker 4: top experts, and deploying new technology to engineer the break
• 11:46
Speaker 4: that finally nailed the suspect. Today is result of that
• 11:50
Speaker 4: outstanding work. We didn't need new evidence, just new leaders
• 11:55
Speaker 4: and a new President Trump willing to let good cops
• 11:59
Speaker 4: be cops. This goes exactly back to that principle. The
• 12:04
Speaker 4: President United States of America chose people to put in
• 12:08
Speaker 4: positions of power that understand exactly what they needed to do,
• 12:14
Speaker 4: which was go after the bad guys, arrest them, and
• 12:17
Speaker 4: make sure that men and women are safe. And finally,
• 12:21
Speaker 4: even Judge Janine said, the DC pipe bomber was quiet.
• 12:25
Speaker 4: She also revealed insight into his low key personal life, saying,
• 12:29
Speaker 4: federal authorities say they found bomb making materials in the
• 12:33
Speaker 4: suspect's home. The US Attorney for the District of Columbia,
• 12:38
Speaker 4: Judge Janine revealing all of this after it was announced
• 12:42
Speaker 4: the indictment, federal authorities arresting that thirty year old of
• 12:46
Speaker 4: Virginia Thursday morning, And yet again she re emphasized this
• 12:51
Speaker 4: important point that this was after a nearly five year
• 12:54
Speaker 4: long pause in essence of the investigation involving millions of
• 13:00
Speaker 4: pieces of data. Now we have him, and Americans can
• 13:04
Speaker 4: sleep a little better knowing that the DC pipe bomber
• 13:07
  Speaker 4: is behind Bart.
• 13:08
