Holiday headache? Dry Friday for many, but soaking rain for Memorial Day weekend
Friday offers one of the better chances for outdoor activity, while Saturday is shaping up to be the most challenging day of the holiday stretch. Expect a raw, chilly feel, with temperatures stuck in the mid-50s and widespread rain developing. The heaviest rainfall is expected later in the day and into the night, continuing into early Sunday. This period could bring a soaking 1 to 3 inches of rain across the region, with the heaviest totals focused south and east.
