  Speaker 1: be able to reach their hearts and their minds and

  Speaker 1: be able to apply these verses to their lives. And

  Speaker 1: the Lord Jesus Christ name I pray a men. So

  Speaker 1: we're gonna jump into Proverbs chapter twenty five. Proverbs has

  Speaker 1: been a great series for me, and I call it

  Speaker 1: a series cause we're up to twenty five now, and truthfully,

  Speaker 1: there is about five more to go. So we're getting

  Speaker 1: close to uh having to have the Spirit be able
• 0:41
  Speaker 1: to tell me what book of the Bible I should
• 0:45
  Speaker 1: go to next. And we're gonna be talking more on

  Speaker 1: more of Solomn's Proverbs. And I'm giving you a little
• 0:54
  Speaker 1: bit of time to be able to grab your Bible
• 0:56
  Speaker 1: or your Bible lap and read along as you hear along.

  Speaker 1: Highly encourage it. And I say that because you can

  Speaker 1: really be able to absorb the word when you read it,

  Speaker 1: you see it, and you hear it, so let's jump

  Speaker 1: into it and you can just make that decision as

  Speaker 1: you hear along. But Proverbs chapter twenty five, verse one,
• 1:21
  Speaker 1: these are more solemn proverbs. Ezekiah's men wrote them down
• 1:27
  Speaker 1: when Ezekiah was king of Judah. Verse two. God hides
• 1:33
  Speaker 1: things because he is great. But great kings can explain things. See.

  Speaker 1: God has hidden things, sometimes in plain sight, sometimes in
• 1:47
  Speaker 1: certain people that you would never even expect to be
• 1:51
  Speaker 1: able to have the gift or be able to have
• 1:54
  Speaker 1: the message or the motivation or the influence. That's one
• 1:59
  Speaker 1: thing that I get from this right. So take what

  Speaker 1: you want, take what you need out of these Bible
• 2:08
  Speaker 1: studies that I have, because it's not only for you,
• 2:11
  Speaker 1: it's for me as well. And they're only fifteen minutes,

  Speaker 1: my preaching, but this is the word. The best selling

  Speaker 1: book on this earth is the Bible. And I want

  Speaker 1: to make sure that I'm also letting you know, the

  Speaker 1: listener that this is the easy version, because I'm not

  Speaker 1: the greatest pronouncer of words, as you know, and I
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: make up words. I guess sometimes in that aspect, But

  Speaker 1: God's working on men. So we're talking about Proverbs chapter
• 2:49
  Speaker 1: twenty five, verse three. You can never know all the
• 2:52
  Speaker 1: thoughts of a king. Ooh, they go high above the
• 2:56
  Speaker 1: sky and deep below the earth. Verse four. If you

  Speaker 1: remove dirt from silver, a worker can use it to
• 3:04
  Speaker 1: make a beautiful thing. God has given us everything that
• 3:09
  Speaker 1: we need to be able to build, create, and the
• 3:14
  Speaker 1: enemy wants to destroy, lie, cheat, and we can go
• 3:19
  Speaker 1: down the list. But being able to be a worker
• 3:24
  Speaker 1: amongst workers, whether it's in the church, whether it's in
• 3:28
  Speaker 1: a program, whether it's at your job. God has given
• 3:31
  Speaker 1: you that ability. Now we're talking about Proverbs is a
• 3:38
  Speaker 1: great book in the Bible, and I like to say books.
• 3:43
  Speaker 1: Everybody else might have something else to say, but there's
• 3:45
  Speaker 1: books within the book. And that's because there were many
• 3:51
  Speaker 1: people that wrote what they eyewitnessed. And obviously it's stuck.

  Speaker 1: And when we're getting into verse five, I want you
• 4:04
  Speaker 1: to keep an open mind, keep an open heart, be
• 4:09
  Speaker 1: able to allow the Holy Spirit to really come in
• 4:11
  Speaker 1: as well. Pay attention. Pay attention. Proverbs chapter twenty five,
• 4:16
  Speaker 1: Verse five states, in the same way you should keep
• 4:20
  Speaker 1: wicked people away from the king, then he will rule
• 4:24
  Speaker 1: in a right way. Verse six. When you stand in
• 4:28
  Speaker 1: front of the king, do not be proud. Do not
• 4:33
  Speaker 1: stand where the important people stand. You got to know
• 4:37
  Speaker 1: your place. Ooh, spirit, I feel it. You got to
• 4:42
  Speaker 1: know your place, and you got to know that. It's
• 4:44
  Speaker 1: almost like working for a job. You can't be manager
• 4:48
  Speaker 1: right away, especially if you don't have the experience of
• 4:51
  Speaker 1: being a manager. You have to start at ground zero,
• 4:56
  Speaker 1: and that humbles a lot of people that also come
• 4:59
  Speaker 1: into whether it's a job, church, whatever, organization, and you
• 5:05
  Speaker 1: have all this wisdom or it's like internships. You have
• 5:10
  Speaker 1: to prove yourself through time, efforts, energy. Even when you
• 5:18
  Speaker 1: think nobody's watching, somebody's watching. Somebody is watching. You have
• 5:23
  Speaker 1: to almost live your life that way, as if God
• 5:28
  Speaker 1: himself sends an angel to look over you and watch
• 5:33
  Speaker 1: you and observe you and knows your thoughts, knows your feelings,
• 5:37
  Speaker 1: knows what you're going through as well. It's not like
• 5:39
  Speaker 1: they're just watching you to condemn you. God will show
• 5:44
  Speaker 1: you a way out. Ooh, we're getting into it. We're
• 5:46
  Speaker 1: getting into it. And this is Proverbs chapter twenty five,
• 5:49
  Speaker 1: Verse seven. Then it will be good. If the king
• 5:52
  Speaker 1: says to you, come and sit up here near me,
• 5:58
  Speaker 1: that would be better than if you he sends you
• 6:01
  Speaker 1: away while his officers watch. Or we're getting deep verse eight.

  Speaker 1: If you see something bad happen, do not quickly go
• 6:12
  Speaker 1: and tell a judge. Your neighbor may show that you
• 6:16
  Speaker 1: are wrong. Then you will be ashamed. You will not
• 6:21
  Speaker 1: know what to do. Oh how quick are we to
• 6:26
  Speaker 1: judge somebody else and assume that their actions or the
• 6:30
  Speaker 1: way that they speak, or how they may feel at
• 6:33
  Speaker 1: that particular time is unjustice or justice. A lot of
• 6:39
  Speaker 1: the times we just need to be an active listener
• 6:42
  Speaker 1: and be able to listen to somebody that whether they're
• 6:44
  Speaker 1: in the higher up or there or at the bottom
• 6:47
  Speaker 1: ground zero. Sometimes that's all people need. And I can
• 6:53
  Speaker 1: go a little deeper, but we're gonna keep going. I
• 6:54
  Speaker 1: want to get to maybe verse fifteen. Tonight. Bear with me.

  Speaker 1: There's gonna be something in this that's going to help you.

  Speaker 1: If you argue with your neighbor, do not tell his

  Speaker 1: secrets to other people. Let me repeat that for somebody.

  Speaker 1: And we're talking about neighbor. We're not necessarily talking about

  Speaker 1: the neighbor that you live with. It could be somebody
• 7:16
  Speaker 1: at church, it could be somebody at your job. It
• 7:17
  Speaker 1: could be somebody that's in your tight circle, right, and
• 7:21
  Speaker 1: even a stranger. If you agree with your neighbor, I'm
• 7:26
  Speaker 1: sorry if you argue with your neighbor, even if you
• 7:29
  Speaker 1: agree right, sometimes there's so many people, right, There's so
• 7:33
  Speaker 1: many people that will stand up for you, whether you're
• 7:36
  Speaker 1: in the right or the wrong. Watch out for those people.
• 7:38
  Speaker 1: They are there to help you grow. If you argue
• 7:42
  Speaker 1: with your neighbor. Do not tell his secrets to other people.
• 7:46
  Speaker 1: Do not gossip. And people do it all the time
• 7:51
  Speaker 1: and thinks that it's okay. But I'm here to say
• 7:56
  Speaker 1: that God doesn't like gossiping. Don't try to play like
• 7:59
  Speaker 1: your God, because Lucifer did that and look how it
• 8:04
  Speaker 1: turned out for him Verse ten. If you do that,

  Speaker 1: everyone will know about it. Then you will be ashamed
• 8:14
  Speaker 1: for your whole life. See the thing about gossiping. When
• 8:18
  Speaker 1: you're talking about other people, amongst other people that you're
• 8:21
  Speaker 1: trying to whether be connected with or or stay true with.

  Speaker 1: If they hear you talk about somebody else, how do
• 8:28
  Speaker 1: you think they're gonna look at you? How are they
• 8:32
  Speaker 1: really gonna respect you? Knowing that you may be talking
• 8:36
  Speaker 1: about them behind they're back. They're not gonna tell you everything.

  Speaker 1: They're not gonna feel trustworthy. Ooh, I'm getting deep hold

  Speaker 1: on now. Verse eleven. A wise word that you speak

  Speaker 1: at the right time is a beautiful thing. It is

  Speaker 1: like a gold apple on a silver plate. Verse twelve.

  Speaker 1: When a wise person warns you, this is also a

  Speaker 1: beautiful thing. It is like a gold ear ring or

  Speaker 1: a gold necklace. It's very shiny. Verse thirteen. We're gonna

  Speaker 1: break these down. Bear with me. Verse thirteen. Proverbs, chapter

  Speaker 1: twenty five. When a faithful servant takes that message for

  Speaker 1: his master, his master will have peace in his mind.

  Speaker 1: It will keep him cool like snow in the middle

  Speaker 1: of summer. We're talking about how beautiful it is when

  Speaker 1: a wise person knows from experience that have the wisdom.

  Speaker 1: Doesn't matter how much younger they are from you, or
• 9:49
  Speaker 1: how much older they are from you. Let's be real.

  Speaker 1: Let's be real. Don't ever underestimate somebody else's wisdom, because

  Speaker 1: whether they've gone through it or not, God speaks through people.

  Speaker 1: The Holy Spirit speaks through people sometimes the least expected.

  Speaker 1: It's not always the pastor that's standing up there on
• 10:12
  Speaker 1: the pedestal. That is a teacher, and a lot of
• 10:20
  Speaker 1: times the Spirit, yes, God willing that that preacher is
• 10:26
  Speaker 1: actually following God's will by talking about his son and
• 10:32
  Speaker 1: allowing the Holy Spirit to speak for him. Ooh, let
• 10:36
  Speaker 1: me get into it. Let me get into it. There

  Speaker 1: is a difference between teaching and preaching. Let me say
• 10:45
  Speaker 1: that again. There is a difference between teaching and preaching
• 10:49
  Speaker 1: the word. It's okay to mix both. It's okay. It's

  Speaker 1: okay as long as we know who's in charge, and
• 10:58
  Speaker 1: that's God, Almighty Jesus is the king. The Holy Spirit

  Speaker 1: Some people promise things, but they never do anything. Those

  Speaker 1: people are like clouds and wind that do not bring

  Speaker 1: any rain. They just shading. They just throwing shade. Anybody

  Speaker 1: can say anything, anybody can preach, but can they practice
• 11:36
  Speaker 1: what they preach? Oh, let me preach, Let me preach.

  Speaker 1: This is for all the believers out there, whether you're
• 11:44
  Speaker 1: in the trenches, whether you're in the recovery stage, whether

  Speaker 1: you're a deacon, do you practice what you preach? Wooh,

  Speaker 1: quiet word, you can remove a difficult problem. Now we

  Speaker 1: all got problems. We all got problems, and there is loutions.

  Speaker 1: If we can pick each other's brains, if we can

  Speaker 1: sit down and really listen before trying to act on
• 12:54
  Speaker 1: or react on how to respond to somebody instead of

  Speaker 1: really listening to them, being an active listener. I'm not

  Speaker 1: only saying this for you, the listener, saying it for

  Speaker 1: me as well. We all have room for improvement, and

  Speaker 1: we all can be more like Christ. We all can

  Speaker 1: be more allowing the Holy Spirit to make us rest

  Speaker 1: at night, wake up the next day, be better than

  Speaker 1: we were yesterday. Amen, I no better than you. You're
