Transcript
- 0:13Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to Pink Shade.
- 0:14Speaker 2: It's Thursday, so that means it's pop and Bravo and
- 0:18Speaker 2: I've got a good friend here to talk about pop
- 0:20Speaker 2: culture and mostly Bravo.
- 0:21Speaker 1: And it's Gibson John's Hey Gibson.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Hey MP, how are you good to be here?
- 0:27Speaker 2: Grea great, so good to see you and your cute face.
- 0:31Speaker 2: You just fresh off the beaches of Nantucket.
- 0:34Speaker 3: I am, I am. We go. There's a family every year.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Very blessed to do that, and uh just roasted for
- 0:42Speaker 3: two weeks. You know, I needed it.
- 0:46Speaker 2: You know, I'm obsessed with Nantucket and I talk about
- 0:49Speaker 2: it all the time, and it didn't happen for me
- 0:52Speaker 2: this year. But Nantucket is on the twenty twenty six
- 0:55Speaker 2: Darcy A.
- 0:56Speaker 3: And when you go, you know that you have I
- 0:59Speaker 3: can do your whole tenerary for you.
- 1:01Speaker 1: That's exactly right. I know, I've got I got my
- 1:03Speaker 1: own Nantucket travel agent.
- 1:05Speaker 3: Yep. Yeah, note free of charge, so.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Oh thank you. I didn't even think you would charge me.
- 1:10Speaker 2: But the pictures were out. Every time we see your
- 1:12Speaker 2: pictures of like the old jeeps and everything. Just because
- 1:14Speaker 2: I read all those books about Nantucket, I'm like oh,
- 1:16Speaker 2: I want to go so bad.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Yeah, it's it's just as like charming and quaint as
- 1:21Speaker 3: it sounds and looks. It's just it's our favor a
- 1:24Speaker 3: place in the world. It really is.
- 1:25Speaker 1: It's just is it crowded though? Is it crowded?
- 1:28Speaker 3: You know? August is much more We go in July.
- 1:31Speaker 3: August is much more crowded, and it is crowded, but
- 1:34Speaker 3: we stay in town, which kind of makes it so
- 1:38Speaker 3: like parking is as much of an issue because like
- 1:40Speaker 3: if you stay out of town, you can drive in
- 1:41Speaker 3: and then find parking. We stay in town and we
- 1:44Speaker 3: walk everywhere, and then you have to drive to the
- 1:46Speaker 3: beach obviously, but it's definitely crowded, but you find ways
- 1:49Speaker 3: to just like we have it. We had sort of
- 1:52Speaker 3: a well oiled machine for us when we go there now,
- 1:54Speaker 3: you know, Yeah, we know when when to make the reservations,
- 1:57Speaker 3: where to go when, and it's just we haven't figured out.
- 2:01Speaker 3: But August it's definitely the most crowded, I think, and
- 2:03Speaker 3: we avoid that if we can.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, Well, whenever we were thinking about going, it
- 2:08Speaker 2: was going to be like in May, because I was like,
- 2:09Speaker 2: I'm gonna do like May or September.
- 2:11Speaker 1: So the weather's still okay, but it's not zillions of people.
- 2:15Speaker 2: But I also want to make sure things are open
- 2:16Speaker 2: because I know here on Balted Island in the off season,
- 2:19Speaker 2: you know, the hours aren't so consistent.
- 2:22Speaker 3: Yeah, I've heard that September is an amazing time to
- 2:24Speaker 3: be in Nantucket. I've heard that it's like very optimal
- 2:26Speaker 3: because things are open still, but it's there's lots of
- 2:29Speaker 3: a rush obviously, and it's still very nice and warm.
- 2:32Speaker 3: May I think is like a hit or miss in
- 2:34Speaker 3: terms of weather, but it's definitely not as crowded, so
- 2:37Speaker 3: take your pick.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Okay.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Well, when I get around to January twenty twenty sixth,
- 2:42Speaker 2: that's when I start my That's when I start my
- 2:44Speaker 2: planning frenzy, and I'll I'll be waiting.
- 2:48Speaker 3: I'll be waiting for that text message.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Okay, Okay, Gibson, let's talk. Are you following this Kelly
- 2:57Speaker 2: Wolf situation on Instagram?
- 3:00Speaker 3: So okay, So I don't know if you know this,
- 3:02Speaker 3: but I write for E News A couple of days
- 3:04Speaker 3: a week. I write news articles for them. I get
- 3:07Speaker 3: a signed things basically, and I just churn out articles.
- 3:10Speaker 3: And I when that was first happening. I wrote a
- 3:14Speaker 3: few articles about that for them, because I honestly didn't
- 3:17Speaker 3: even really know who they. I was not familiar with them,
- 3:21Speaker 3: but I there was like that Instagram live off for
- 3:23Speaker 3: getting arrested, right.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Or something Richard that was one of them.
- 3:27Speaker 3: Yeah, but I have not kept up with it in
- 3:30Speaker 3: recent weeks. What's the latest in that.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Well, she still does a lot of she still does
- 3:35Speaker 2: a lot of lives. And it's a lot of grandios.
- 3:41Speaker 2: You know, I speak six languages, I have a degree
- 3:43Speaker 2: in nuclear physics and psychology, and this it's a lot
- 3:47Speaker 2: of grandios. Like everybody loves me, nobody's ever not liked me,
- 3:50Speaker 2: and yes I kissed So's husband and she doesn't like
- 3:53Speaker 2: me anymore, but she's only one of ten people in
- 3:55Speaker 2: the world that don't love me. And yesterday I beat
- 3:58Speaker 2: a twenty seven year old in the foot rate and
- 4:01Speaker 2: this week, I mean, you're like.
- 4:02Speaker 1: What, huh huh.
- 4:05Speaker 2: And then she did have the police here in the
- 4:07Speaker 2: last week going with her to her home where she
- 4:12Speaker 2: was trying to get in to get her things. So
- 4:14Speaker 2: now it was where people were commenting under it like
- 4:17Speaker 2: go girl, da da da da. Now twenty thousand people
- 4:21Speaker 2: may watch it, but nobody comments. Nobody ever comments, And
- 4:26Speaker 2: this one where she had the police and was trying
- 4:27Speaker 2: to get into the house, it was like taking the
- 4:29Speaker 2: screens off and like trying to get in the house.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Her son, who's like fifteen sixteen, wrote under it, this
- 4:35Speaker 2: is literally insane, Mom, what are you doing?
- 4:38Speaker 1: And that's hard?
- 4:39Speaker 3: Yeah, that's hard. I feel like that people know not
- 4:41Speaker 3: that's when you know. And also the people not commenting
- 4:43Speaker 3: tells me that like everyone kind of knows. It's probably
- 4:47Speaker 3: like a mental health situation that's happen unfolding, and it's
- 4:50Speaker 3: like you kind of can't look away, but also like
- 4:52Speaker 3: you don't want to say anything like too insensitive or
- 4:55Speaker 3: too like yeah, you know what I mean. Like it's
- 4:57Speaker 3: kind of one of these things where it's like it's
- 4:58Speaker 3: she's putting it out there, right, but.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Like NonStop, non stop, Yeah, like.
- 5:02Speaker 3: What do you what do you actually say?
- 5:04Speaker 2: In response to it, right, today's post, which was probably
- 5:09Speaker 2: one of the least sensical ones, she says a lot
- 5:11Speaker 2: of nonsensical ones, but at least like the grammar is correct.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Today's post that I mean.
- 5:15Speaker 2: When I saw this morning was pretty nonsensical with bad grammar,
- 5:19Speaker 2: and she is again for the second time, calling on
- 5:21Speaker 2: Brad Pitt. Brad Pitt is somebody she calls on. She
- 5:23Speaker 2: hadn't called on him in a few weeks, but she
- 5:25Speaker 2: started calling on him today.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Were they connected in the past, Do we know?
- 5:30Speaker 1: No, she doesn't know.
- 5:31Speaker 3: Okay, So it's not because it's not like, for example,
- 5:33Speaker 3: like with Britney Spears, like she will she'll mention justin Timberlake,
- 5:38Speaker 3: She'll mention Orsina Aguilera, like here and there, but that
- 5:41Speaker 3: those are people there. It's sort of the implication there
- 5:44Speaker 3: is that like she still holds on to some of
- 5:47Speaker 3: these things from the from like twenty years ago or whatever.
- 5:49Speaker 3: But it clearly Kelly Wolf is just sort of grassing
- 5:54Speaker 3: and it's sort of random.
- 5:55Speaker 2: And then another thing she was saying today was like, oh,
- 5:58Speaker 2: I'm just you know, I'm ready to get married again.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Giddy up, who's gonna I don't like to be single?
- 6:02Speaker 2: I mean it was you know, it's like that.
- 6:04Speaker 3: And she just got but didn't she just get divorced from.
- 6:07Speaker 1: And I don't even know if they are divorced actually.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Right, it's like that. It's like that was like a
- 6:11Speaker 3: fresh split I feeling. And now that's dark.
- 6:17Speaker 2: It's it's dark and it's rough, and it's sort of
- 6:19Speaker 2: like I got kicked out of this hotel and I
- 6:21Speaker 2: couldn't believe it. I've been coming here for twenty years,
- 6:23Speaker 2: blah blah blah. And then the next this is my
- 6:25Speaker 2: favorite hotel in the world. They do everything for me there.
- 6:27Speaker 2: They feed me champagne in the morning, and you're like, well,
- 6:29Speaker 2: you just said you got kick huh.
- 6:30Speaker 1: You know.
- 6:31Speaker 2: So it's it's trying to make sense of it and
- 6:33Speaker 2: there's no point, but it is. It is a lot
- 6:37Speaker 2: of This afternoon, I'm going to buy a property because
- 6:40Speaker 2: me and my family we preserve property, so we buy
- 6:42Speaker 2: properties to preserve the land to get them back to
- 6:44Speaker 2: their people. And then the next thing she'll say, I
- 6:46Speaker 2: have twenty three dollars to my name because my husband's
- 6:48Speaker 2: cut me off from all my accounts, but that afternoon
- 6:51Speaker 2: she's going to buy a property.
- 6:53Speaker 1: So it's sort of like yeah.
- 6:55Speaker 3: And then she'll also say like, oh no, like we're
- 6:58Speaker 3: me and the aftergot the guy's name. We're good, Like
- 7:01Speaker 3: we're we're not like, but clearly there at odd's clearly
- 7:05Speaker 3: there's there's they're not good, right.
- 7:07Speaker 2: I believe he is one of the people that have.
- 7:11Speaker 2: She's been on psychiatricals now twice and I think once
- 7:15Speaker 2: was like her family and friends, and then once was him.
- 7:18Speaker 1: And I think the one that.
- 7:19Speaker 2: He did was because we saw a live where she
- 7:22Speaker 2: had her daughter in the car and was like looking
- 7:24Speaker 2: out the front window of the car like into the
- 7:26Speaker 2: woods and was like, we're going camping, and the daughter
- 7:29Speaker 2: was clearly like hiding under a blanket, like don't show me.
- 7:32Speaker 3: It was.
- 7:33Speaker 2: So I think after that was when she had to
- 7:35Speaker 2: get like supervised visitation and stuff like that. All right,
- 7:41Speaker 2: You know, I spend a lot of time on my
- 7:44Speaker 2: cow to watching TV, taking notes, having some coffee, having
- 7:47Speaker 2: some wine. You guys, I like to be comfortable because
- 7:50Speaker 2: I spend a lot of time there. Now I'm not
- 7:52Speaker 2: necessarily a blanket person, but holy cow, I got this
- 7:55Speaker 2: Lola blanket and it is so soft and so comfy.
- 8:00Speaker 2: I'd be using it every single night while I'm sitting
- 8:02Speaker 2: there watching my trashy TV shows.
- 8:04Speaker 1: And I got this big, big blue on it to
- 8:06Speaker 1: size large.
- 8:07Speaker 2: And now my son John wants to try to steal
- 8:08Speaker 2: it from me and take it to college.
- 8:10Speaker 1: I'm going to get them another one also at our
- 8:12Speaker 1: beach house.
- 8:12Speaker 2: We have a lot of throw blankets that came with
- 8:14Speaker 2: the house, but they're completely inferior.
- 8:16Speaker 1: To this Lola blanket.
- 8:17Speaker 2: And now I think I need to replace all my
- 8:19Speaker 2: throw blankets with Lola blankets. Did you know that Lola
- 8:22Speaker 2: is the world's number one blanket crafted with ultrasoft, luxury
- 8:25Speaker 2: vegan faux fur and signature four way stretch that sets
- 8:28Speaker 2: it apart. And what I love is that it's machine
- 8:31Speaker 2: washable and you need that if you have dogs and kids.
- 8:33Speaker 2: It's double him for durability, stays follows, no pilling, no shedding,
- 8:37Speaker 2: even after repeated washes. A blanket that doesn't shed all
- 8:40Speaker 2: over is amazing and this blanket hasn't shed one bit.
- 8:44Speaker 2: And also, Lola is now my go to gift because
- 8:46Speaker 2: it's personal, beautiful and something people actually use.
- 8:49Speaker 1: And if you really want.
- 8:50Speaker 2: To elevate the gift, here's a hot tip, try the
- 8:52Speaker 2: matching pillows. Lola has over ten thousand five star reviews
- 8:56Speaker 2: and once you felt it, you'll know why.
- 8:58Speaker 1: For a limited time, our.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Listeners are getting a huge thirty five percent off their
- 9:02Speaker 2: entire order at Lola Blankets dot Com by using code

- 9:09Speaker 2: l a Lola Blankets dot com and you use code

- 9:19Speaker 2: at checkout.
- 9:22Speaker 1: It's it's terrible.
- 9:24Speaker 2: But what's interesting is she is a psychiatrist herself.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Oh is she? Yeah?
- 9:29Speaker 2: And she'll say, oh, they said that I'm grandiose, and
- 9:32Speaker 2: I'm this, and they said I'm that, and I'm bipolar,
- 9:34Speaker 2: and I've been called this, and I'm a drug addict.
- 9:36Speaker 1: And da da da da.
- 9:37Speaker 2: She'll say all these things, Oh, this is what they
- 9:39Speaker 2: say about me. But then she talks about herself in
- 9:42Speaker 2: this grandiose fashion and talks about she doesn't do drugs,
- 9:46Speaker 2: only this certain kind of mushroom by this doctor. And
- 9:50Speaker 2: it's just sort of like you can't make heads or
- 9:53Speaker 2: tails of it. But I think I'm watching it to
- 9:55Speaker 2: see if it turns out okay, because like for a while,
- 9:57Speaker 2: remember when we watch Katie Ross.
- 9:59Speaker 3: For a while, Yeah, I was that. She came to mind,
- 10:02Speaker 3: for Sureanda Vines comes to mind. Some of the people
- 10:05Speaker 3: who are like sort of sort of in real time
- 10:07Speaker 3: we're documenting these like clearly like mental breaks. But yeah, yeah,
- 10:11Speaker 3: and in some way and in some ways, if you're
- 10:13Speaker 3: like watching it, you're almost like keeping her eye on
- 10:16Speaker 3: her too, you know what I mean. It's like, yes,
- 10:17Speaker 3: you know, any kind of sick way, it's like okay,
- 10:20Speaker 3: but like she's putting it out. She's putting stuff out there,
- 10:22Speaker 3: like if something goes on, like people are going to
- 10:24Speaker 3: know immediately.
- 10:25Speaker 2: You know, people know where she is because she's constantly
- 10:27Speaker 2: posting at all times. She is in real time. And
- 10:32Speaker 2: the Katie Ross thing, though, I was always like, today's
- 10:34Speaker 2: going to be the day she's going to do a
- 10:35Speaker 2: post that says, actually she's been five days sober or what.
- 10:38Speaker 2: And then it did come and she was sober, and
- 10:41Speaker 2: I don't know if she still doesn't know she just
- 10:42Speaker 2: said she married somebody, but it did come where she
- 10:46Speaker 2: was like, you know, it's been really hard, I'm today.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Sober, where are were like okay, good. So that's kind of.
- 10:52Speaker 2: What I'm hoping is going to happen with this Kelly
- 10:54Speaker 2: Will thing. There's going to be some kind of redemption
- 10:55Speaker 2: to it.
- 10:56Speaker 3: Yeah. I hope that she stops going live for like
- 10:58Speaker 3: a little bit and then she comes back she's like hey, guys, like, yeah,
- 11:02Speaker 3: I've been at a facility or something, because like I mean,
- 11:04Speaker 3: two psychiatric holds. That's intense. And it's like, yeah, okay,
- 11:08Speaker 3: maybe yeah, maybe they should maybe they should get her
- 11:11Speaker 3: some like more long term help.
- 11:14Speaker 2: But they can't hold her after a certain amount of time,
- 11:16Speaker 2: do you know what I mean? Because there is unless
- 11:19Speaker 2: they fifty and fifty her, unless they fully put her
- 11:20Speaker 2: into her conservatorship, like you can't hold somebody. She just
- 11:26Speaker 2: gets out and walks around town in her cowboy house,
- 11:28Speaker 2: and oh my.
- 11:29Speaker 3: God, I just think about I mean, maybe maybe maybe
- 11:32Speaker 3: it will take something from the kids, you know what
- 11:34Speaker 3: I mean. Then they're they're clearly they're under age, and
- 11:36Speaker 3: it's I feel bad, but like maybe they will get
- 11:39Speaker 3: to her and be like mom, like you really need
- 11:41Speaker 3: to get help, Like this is not normal.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I think anything like that has been Like, well,
- 11:46Speaker 2: you don't know, because I'm a therapist and I have
- 11:47Speaker 2: four degrees and I speak six languages and I have.
- 11:49Speaker 3: To do and you're like to get through her, yeah,
- 11:52Speaker 3: hard to get through.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Okay, Now what shows are you watching that are not Bravo?
- 11:59Speaker 3: So I us watch Hunting Wives. We watched that in
- 12:01Speaker 3: Nantucky with my family, we ate that ship up.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Okay, but when you watch it with your family, I've heard.
- 12:07Speaker 2: I haven't watched it, but I've heard it's a lot
- 12:08Speaker 2: of sex.
- 12:09Speaker 3: It is a lot of sex. But whatever, like we're grown,
- 12:13Speaker 3: you know what I mean.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I would, I would. I'm just very I don't
- 12:17Speaker 1: want to marry.
- 12:18Speaker 3: It's very over the top and soapy and like it
- 12:21Speaker 3: knows it's ridiculous and it leans into it and like
- 12:23Speaker 3: we were laughing along, we were all s rivetted. It
- 12:26Speaker 3: was just like kind of the perfect sort of soapy
- 12:28Speaker 3: show for me. Yeah, and I don't normally watch like
- 12:31Speaker 3: the really big Netflix, like you know, fictional shows, but
- 12:36Speaker 3: this one just I love Malan Ackerman and Britney Snow,
- 12:40Speaker 3: the two leads of the show. They're great, and it's
- 12:43Speaker 3: just it's like and also, there's not enough sex on
- 12:45Speaker 3: TV anymore. Like it's it's it's good sexy. It's good
- 12:48Speaker 3: sexy to me. I just finished watching that. I watched
- 12:53Speaker 3: season two. I think it's called Bright, Happy Shiny People
- 12:57Speaker 3: or Bright Shiny People. The first season was about the
- 12:59Speaker 3: Duggers and sort of the yeah, yeah, they were the
- 13:03Speaker 3: cult thing. They were a part of yeah, and there's
- 13:04Speaker 3: a new second season of that. It's just three episodes.
- 13:07Speaker 3: It's about this thing called teen Mania, which is like
- 13:10Speaker 3: basically this like kind of this Christian group for young
- 13:14Speaker 3: people that was in the nineties and it was huge.
- 13:16Speaker 3: They have like thousands, thousand person conventions, like these huge events,
- 13:22Speaker 3: and they like recruited all these young people.
- 13:24Speaker 1: To like it wasn't called teen Mania.
- 13:26Speaker 3: It was called teen Mania. And then there was these
- 13:30Speaker 3: there were the events were called like Acquire the Fire,
- 13:32Speaker 3: I want to say, and they like they made them
- 13:35Speaker 3: look like super cool. It was basically like an antidote
- 13:37Speaker 3: to or like a direct reaction to MTV and MTV
- 13:40Speaker 3: culture and like how that was sort of like poisoning
- 13:43Speaker 3: the minds of teens and so like these kids would
- 13:46Speaker 3: grow up in these churches and be told that MTV
- 13:49Speaker 3: like they would basically they would ask their parents to
- 13:51Speaker 3: like take to MTV off their TV because they were
- 13:54Speaker 3: so scared of it. That was how they and so
- 13:55Speaker 3: it was basically a direct reaction to that. Then there
- 13:57Speaker 3: was like this university they could like after they ground
- 14:00Speaker 3: from high school, they could like forego college and go
- 14:03Speaker 3: to this training center place and they it was basically
- 14:07Speaker 3: like unpaid labor. They paid go to this place to
- 14:10Speaker 3: learn kind of it was under the guise of like
- 14:14Speaker 3: mission trips and like helping to be like sort of
- 14:17Speaker 3: training to be like a really good, like kind of
- 14:19Speaker 3: accolade in that way. But then they basically were just
- 14:21Speaker 3: there and they would like pay to be able to
- 14:24Speaker 3: like be part of a call center or do manual
- 14:27Speaker 3: labor or whatever. And it was kind of this whole
- 14:29Speaker 3: build up thing. So it was three episodes. Very interesting.
- 14:32Speaker 3: I love like a coal Tea Me Too series, so
- 14:35Speaker 3: that's a good one. It was the first one was
- 14:36Speaker 3: about the Douggers and so it's sort of like like
- 14:38Speaker 3: tangentially related. Yeah, yeah, yeah, so same idea. Just finish
- 14:43Speaker 3: that the other day, which was okay, yeah, all.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Right, I don't have time to watch anything right now
- 14:48Speaker 2: because I'm covering so many shows. And one show we
- 14:51Speaker 2: were recovering Match Me Abroad. I thought it was six episodes,
- 14:54Speaker 2: but it's fourteen, so I was.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Like, well, crap, and now we're always you know, we're
- 14:59Speaker 1: in it. We can't like quit.
- 15:00Speaker 2: So that and now covering the Valley uh episodically and
- 15:04Speaker 2: thank the Lord, that's almost over.
- 15:07Speaker 1: That I'll take.
- 15:08Speaker 2: But then Love is Blind UK is coming in and
- 15:10Speaker 2: we're covering that we covered.
- 15:13Speaker 3: And season one was so good. I love of Love
- 15:16Speaker 3: is Blind UK. The last season was, and so I'm
- 15:18Speaker 3: I'm hoping this one can be as good. God, Love
- 15:21Speaker 3: is Blind is such an undertaking. It really is.
- 15:24Speaker 2: It is an undertaking. And then so when they dropped
- 15:27Speaker 2: the four, you know, I get the screeners to the
- 15:29Speaker 2: four ahead of times, so I have to record pre
- 15:31Speaker 2: record four episodes when I'm already this. I told my
- 15:35Speaker 2: family we were coming to the beach this week. I said,
- 15:37Speaker 2: this week I have to record eleven episodes. And they're like,
- 15:40Speaker 2: we're at the beach. I go, Love is Blind stops
- 15:43Speaker 2: for no one.
- 15:44Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I said.
- 15:46Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 15:47Speaker 2: I'm sorry, but I will be glad when the Valley
- 15:49Speaker 2: is off my plates.
- 15:52Speaker 3: It's a light Bravo month, which is kind of which
- 15:53Speaker 3: is kind of nice because it's been it's been a lot,
- 15:56Speaker 3: Like it's just it's really just O C Miami to
- 16:00Speaker 3: the Valley ends for a little bit here.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Do you know when Salt Lake is coming back? Because
- 16:04Speaker 2: we've seen some some trailers and some previous.
- 16:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel like it must be like mid Septembers.
- 16:10Speaker 3: My guests like early, Okay, I gotta be my guess.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Maybe they'll give me screeners. They did give me salt
- 16:16Speaker 1: like screeners last year.
- 16:19Speaker 3: Maybe something is.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Okay, because you know, I have to beg every time.
- 16:24Speaker 2: And I did ask for The Valley and was like, look,
- 16:27Speaker 2: I'm covering it episode by episode and I would love
- 16:29Speaker 2: to get it on and they were like nope. And
- 16:31Speaker 2: then I asked another time just if I could get
- 16:33Speaker 2: one one episode early because I was traveling, and they
- 16:35Speaker 2: were like no, It's like, okay, Well, I.
- 16:38Speaker 3: Think it depends on that. I think it really depends
- 16:40Speaker 3: on the show, honestly, because I don't know. I don't
- 16:42Speaker 3: really it's there's no kind of no rhyme or reason.
- 16:45Speaker 3: I don't think I get the Valley screeners. I get
- 16:47Speaker 3: OC and Miami. I want to say, right now, it
- 16:51Speaker 3: goes in and out of what they of what they give.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Yeah, so I know, well, I just I've decided I
- 16:56Speaker 2: just continue to lower myself and beg.
- 16:58Speaker 3: And then I said, there's no shame in the game.
- 17:02Speaker 3: Whatever it takes, whatever it happens. Now.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Speaking of The Valley thoughts, so what we were thinking
- 17:13Speaker 2: we were watching it was something happened during this Renie
- 17:15Speaker 2: to say, Okay, absolutely, we're going to fire him, Like
- 17:18Speaker 2: we weren't thinking we're going to fire him, but now
- 17:19Speaker 2: we're going to fire him, you know.
- 17:20Speaker 1: So we're kind of like, what was it?
- 17:22Speaker 2: Well, in episode one, you know, all the other stuff
- 17:25Speaker 2: we knew about breaking the furniture and the raging out
- 17:27Speaker 2: and all that all along. I mean, we on my show,
- 17:30Speaker 2: and I'm sure many other people in the world thought
- 17:33Speaker 2: something physically happened that they're just not saying, but you know,
- 17:37Speaker 2: domestic violence between the two of them. That wasn't the
- 17:39Speaker 2: coffee table, which was bad enough. And so finally she
- 17:44Speaker 2: did say, well, you know, you threw me into the
- 17:45Speaker 2: bushes and no I didn't. And they're all, literally every
- 17:48Speaker 2: single person was like, we've seen the ring footage. If
- 17:52Speaker 2: you love cameras so much, you should know that it's recorded, right,
- 17:56Speaker 2: So that was the first thing that he said, and.
- 17:58Speaker 1: I was like, Okay, I don't know if now.
- 17:59Speaker 2: That's been said, if they can get past that.
- 18:03Speaker 1: And then this week he said.
- 18:08Speaker 2: Towards the end, he sort of was doing the whole
- 18:11Speaker 2: like my show, my show, I mean, we'd seen them
- 18:14Speaker 2: already do it that time when he said my show
- 18:16Speaker 2: until Zack said wasn't for the last month, which was hilarious.
- 18:19Speaker 2: And then we saw the preview for the coming week
- 18:23Speaker 2: where he said where they said, you told us that
- 18:27Speaker 2: you fired everybody on the show because they got a
- 18:29Speaker 2: better edit than you. He's like, what, I don't have
- 18:31Speaker 2: that power, and they all go, we know. So I
- 18:35Speaker 2: was like, okay, so that's another thing he did. He's
- 18:37Speaker 2: once again trying to say it's his show and he
- 18:39Speaker 2: has editing power.
- 18:41Speaker 3: Right totally, No, I I I think it has a
- 18:45Speaker 3: lot to do with the rosebush thing. And it's like,
- 18:48Speaker 3: if you think about it, like they easily could have
- 18:49Speaker 3: edited that out. They clearly didn't want to harp on
- 18:52Speaker 3: it because there was no follow up to that, which
- 18:54Speaker 3: was kind of shocking, Like it kind of lands like
- 18:57Speaker 3: a thud if you're if that reveal is going to
- 18:59Speaker 3: happen and we're not going to follow up on that,
- 19:01Speaker 3: like you put you were pushing her into a bush,
- 19:04Speaker 3: and like, also, it's like that's one incident that was
- 19:06Speaker 3: caught on camera. How were there other incidents that we
- 19:09Speaker 3: don't know about? You know what I mean?
- 19:10Speaker 2: Because she's really been trying to protect him to protect
- 19:14Speaker 2: because they both earn money.
- 19:15Speaker 1: You know, Yeah, I.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Think so too. And I also like there's obviously an
- 19:17Speaker 3: element of like, yeah, I think Britney's sort of dealings,
- 19:22Speaker 3: she's reflecting on everything that she's been through with Jacks,
- 19:24Speaker 3: and I think that that is something that she had
- 19:26Speaker 3: confided into her friends with And I'm so curious if
- 19:29Speaker 3: there are other things like that, because with this group,
- 19:32Speaker 3: I feel like, in particular, there's a lot of like
- 19:37Speaker 3: we know things they know about that's like are we
- 19:39Speaker 3: going to bring that up now? You know? Are we
- 19:41Speaker 3: gonna you know, like that happened a lot with Janet,
- 19:43Speaker 3: that happened with Jasmine and Zach. There were sort of
- 19:45Speaker 3: a side thing that happened on this past reunion where
- 19:47Speaker 3: she was like he said, or she said, like go there,
- 19:50Speaker 3: you know, like oh.
- 19:51Speaker 1: She said, she said, don't stop go there.
- 19:53Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah. I was like, there's I think there's a
- 19:55Speaker 3: lot of it like go where, go where? Yeah, And
- 19:57Speaker 3: they've all known about the spring Foots. They didn't bring
- 19:59Speaker 3: it up this season, and you know, because there was
- 20:00Speaker 3: clearly enough to incriminate Jack's at that point in my opinion,
- 20:06Speaker 3: but Brittany brought it up herself all.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Right, y'all, it's summer.
- 20:10Speaker 2: I really love to have people over and I love
- 20:12Speaker 2: to get out all of my fun serving dishes, and
- 20:14Speaker 2: I also love a string light and a full barbecue vibe.
- 20:17Speaker 2: I also love an outdoor game like croquet or cornhole.
- 20:20Speaker 2: That would surprise you, but I'm pretty good at cornhole.
- 20:23Speaker 2: And guess what else? You can get all of that
- 20:25Speaker 2: at my go to shop, Wayfair.
- 20:27Speaker 1: So for this beach.
- 20:27Speaker 2: House, I like to keep kind of a beach theme.
- 20:29Speaker 2: I like things with like sharks and a nautical vibe,
- 20:32Speaker 2: like you know, navy blue. I got the cutest outdoor
- 20:35Speaker 2: pillows from Wayfair, and I got a couple from my
- 20:38Speaker 2: Adirondack chairs and a couple of bench cushions, because you know,
- 20:41Speaker 2: if you're sitting out there for a long time trying
- 20:43Speaker 2: to get some sun, you gotta be comfortable. They're that
- 20:45Speaker 2: outdoor material which is perfect, and Wayfair's delivery was always free,
- 20:49Speaker 2: fast and hassle free. Now did you guys know that
- 20:52Speaker 2: Wayfair literally has everything for the outdoors. In addition to
- 20:55Speaker 2: all the fun to core and pillows, they have long games,
- 20:58Speaker 2: but they also have rampolines, gazebos, hot tubs, pools.
- 21:02Speaker 1: And swing sets.
- 21:03Speaker 2: There's something for every style and every home, no matter
- 21:06Speaker 2: your space, no matter your budget. So shop outdoor furniture, grills,
- 21:11Speaker 2: long games, and way more.
- 21:12Speaker 1: For way less. Head to wayfair.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Dot com right now to explore their huge outdoor selection.
- 21:18Speaker 2: That's wayfair dot com. W A Y F A I
- 21:22Speaker 2: R dot com. Wayfair Every style, every home. Do you
- 21:27Speaker 2: think they are going to bring up the season finale party,
- 21:31Speaker 2: Michelle's Zenn party where he was so clearly on something. Mmm,
- 21:38Speaker 2: I hope so vodcast he was ordering straight vodka, right,
- 21:43Speaker 2: I mean.
- 21:43Speaker 3: I I hope that Joax gets everything that's coming for him,
- 21:47Speaker 3: Like I think that they're like it's he just can't
- 21:49Speaker 3: feel like any of this this behavior is rewarded at
- 21:51Speaker 3: all or he is going to be kept secret at all.
- 21:53Speaker 3: Like what what are you protecting at this point? You know?
- 21:56Speaker 3: And Yeah, the steroids thing interesting because I feel like
- 22:00Speaker 3: that wasn't really part of the conversation until this reunion.
- 22:03Speaker 3: I want to say, like, I.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Don't why did no follow up on that either?
- 22:06Speaker 3: Yeah, And I'm also like that roid rage is the
- 22:10Speaker 3: thing that people that we've known about for a very
- 22:11Speaker 3: long time in general, and like that could explain or
- 22:14Speaker 3: that that could be fueling some of the anger that
- 22:17Speaker 3: we see in him or that we've heard about from him.
- 22:19Speaker 3: And I would love to explore that more because I
- 22:21Speaker 3: don't that feels like something we don't talk about on
- 22:24Speaker 3: these shows very often at all. And if he's if
- 22:27Speaker 3: that's part of this equation with him, like I'd like
- 22:29Speaker 3: to go there. I want to know. I actually want
- 22:31Speaker 3: to know more about that. And I want to, you know,
- 22:33Speaker 3: because we talk about the cocaine a lot with him,
- 22:35Speaker 3: and he talked about on this part of the union
- 22:37Speaker 3: as well. But like the steroids is an untapped thing.
- 22:40Speaker 3: I feel like.
- 22:43Speaker 2: When she said, are you a say a Roways and
- 22:45Speaker 2: he said, no, I'm not. Now we remember back on
- 22:47Speaker 2: Vader pump roles when Dassi would get mad at him
- 22:49Speaker 2: because he's always using that protein powder yeahtuff, and she
- 22:53Speaker 2: was mad. And when I tell you that, when you
- 22:55Speaker 2: see him on the show, and then if you watch
- 22:57Speaker 2: the after show, he is so huge his it's his
- 23:01Speaker 2: shirt is straining like he's huge on the reunion.
- 23:05Speaker 3: His jacket barely fits on the reunion. And that's not
- 23:08Speaker 3: like that's not like a shaming thing. It's just sort
- 23:12Speaker 3: of like his clothes don't fit him like that, like
- 23:14Speaker 3: he has bulked, he has bull bolt.
- 23:17Speaker 2: He said he gained thirty pounds. I think because Gana
- 23:19Speaker 2: said she lost seventy pounds. He was like, oh, I
- 23:21Speaker 2: gained thirty pounds. But it's like he's not fat, it's
- 23:24Speaker 2: and we know he said, you know, we had an
- 23:26Speaker 2: app at one point, at some point.
- 23:27Speaker 3: You know it's muscle. It's a blow. It's muscle blow.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Basically, yeah, well, you know, so many great points were made,
- 23:36Speaker 2: and I really like this pregnant, calm Kristen, you know,
- 23:40Speaker 2: who's just sort of like to him, calmly, and she's like,
- 23:43Speaker 2: why can't you look her in the eye? And she's
- 23:46Speaker 2: every she's like, why can't you lean on if you're
- 23:48Speaker 2: you need to go to a therapist to find three
- 23:50Speaker 2: things you can do before you rage out and text
- 23:52Speaker 2: somebody like she's trying to help him. And so Kisha,
- 23:56Speaker 2: who I record with, has never watched vander pump roles
- 23:58Speaker 2: at all. So she's coming in the valley just fresh,
- 24:01Speaker 2: and I was like, I wish the one every time
- 24:03Speaker 2: christ is trying to help him. What I really want
- 24:05Speaker 2: you to remember is these two banged when they were
- 24:08Speaker 2: in a very close friend group and they were they
- 24:11Speaker 2: were best friends, and they all banged each other.
- 24:13Speaker 1: I was like, so they these people have history, yeah, history.
- 24:15Speaker 3: Yeah, and she had. She has full license in my
- 24:19Speaker 3: from my point of view, to say whatever the fuck
- 24:21Speaker 3: she wants to him, you know what I mean. She
- 24:23Speaker 3: can check him, she can take him down a peg.
- 24:25Speaker 3: She can, I think Kristen Yea, more so than anybody
- 24:30Speaker 3: other than Brittany, can say whatever the fuck she wants
- 24:32Speaker 3: to Jacks.
- 24:33Speaker 2: I do love it whenever Zach just chimes in from
- 24:36Speaker 2: the end of the couch. I said, what we needed
- 24:38Speaker 2: was his little face in the corner of the screen
- 24:41Speaker 2: like a commentator yet all times, because he would be like,
- 24:44Speaker 2: I fucking hate you? Or does anybody believe.
- 24:48Speaker 3: Like the People's couch, like built into the Valley Reunion, He's.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Just like, why does anybody believe him? It's just uh.
- 24:55Speaker 2: And I felt bad because Jasmine has like no storyline,
- 24:58Speaker 2: you know, And I don't know if they're I don't
- 25:00Speaker 2: think they'll get rid of her because I think she's
- 25:02Speaker 2: just a part of their friend group.
- 25:03Speaker 3: But I.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Zach has made himself more of a main character, and
- 25:10Speaker 2: it's not her fault. She doesn't have a storyline, but
- 25:12Speaker 2: like she's got to get something going for next season
- 25:13Speaker 2: if she wants to stay on.
- 25:15Speaker 3: You know, yeah, I totally agree, And it's I think
- 25:18Speaker 3: with Jasmine, there's been this weird thing this season of
- 25:20Speaker 3: like she had this experience with Danny, and I felt
- 25:24Speaker 3: as though for a while there on the season that
- 25:27Speaker 3: story was sort of being told for her in a way,
- 25:30Speaker 3: you know what I mean, Like it wasn't. She finally
- 25:32Speaker 3: got a couple of moments to tell that and to
- 25:34Speaker 3: share her perspective, But like that was after a while
- 25:37Speaker 3: of like other people talking about that a lot, like
- 25:39Speaker 3: kind of on her behalf. So that and that was
- 25:43Speaker 3: kind of the biggest thing she had going this season.
- 25:45Speaker 3: You know, we had a we had a little peek
- 25:46Speaker 3: into her relationship with with her fiance, but like that's
- 25:50Speaker 3: pretty much it or her I forget are they are
- 25:53Speaker 3: they engaged or they're engaged? They're engaged, right, They're engaged.
- 25:57Speaker 3: So maybe we get more of her relationship next year.
- 26:00Speaker 3: And I think that her fiance seems like a nice woman.
- 26:02Speaker 3: She doesn't seem like particularly like made for reality TV necessarily,
- 26:10Speaker 3: But I do think that they need to find something
- 26:13Speaker 3: more for Jasmine to do that's beyond this thing with
- 26:17Speaker 3: Danny for sure.
- 26:18Speaker 2: Yeah, and it was stupid, like she showed Danny and
- 26:21Speaker 2: Nia a house that was smaller than their apartment. I
- 26:23Speaker 2: was like, what are we doing?
- 26:25Speaker 3: Yeah? I also and I will say though, like what
- 26:27Speaker 3: encourages me about her is like when she did have
- 26:30Speaker 3: that sit down with Danny and Andy kind of gave
- 26:32Speaker 3: her props for this as well on the reunion, as
- 26:33Speaker 3: like she presented her point of view extremely well and
- 26:37Speaker 3: extremely clearly, and it was it is a point of
- 26:40Speaker 3: view that's not represented very many other places on Bravo,
- 26:43Speaker 3: and so like it's just inherently in that idea, like
- 26:49Speaker 3: Jasmine's worth having around, but they just need to like
- 26:51Speaker 3: figure out a way to like really kind of bolster
- 26:54Speaker 3: that because she has past reality to be experienced. She
- 26:57Speaker 3: was on the Bachelor, so it's like she knows how
- 26:59Speaker 3: this all works, but she hasn't. She hasn't she hasn't
- 27:02Speaker 3: felt completely comfortable yet in my opinion.
- 27:05Speaker 2: I can't remember what show I heard it on, but
- 27:06Speaker 2: somebody else said she was on the Bachelor and she
- 27:09Speaker 2: was on something else, and I was like, she spilled.
- 27:11Speaker 3: To was a bachelor in paradise. Maybe I don't know.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Maybe I don't know. I was like, wow, look at her.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Yeah, well all right. So do you think Jacks did
- 27:22Speaker 2: leave his bar on his own volition or it was
- 27:24Speaker 2: like his contract was up and they didn't renew it.
- 27:27Speaker 2: And then he's trying to say he's working on his
- 27:29Speaker 2: mental health because he wants to get this job back.
- 27:32Speaker 3: There's no way he left on his own volition.
- 27:35Speaker 1: What's he gonna do with all that merch?
- 27:37Speaker 3: Yeah, what the merch? He needs the money. That's that's
- 27:41Speaker 3: the point of pride, you know what I mean? I mean,
- 27:43Speaker 3: does I always come back to the fact that first
- 27:46Speaker 3: season of The Valley he made some comment to Schwartz
- 27:49Speaker 3: of like, you know, everybody says when you open a bar,
- 27:52Speaker 3: a restaurant, you're gonna you're gonna get divorced, But fuck it,
- 27:57Speaker 3: I'm so like he basically was like, yeah, fuck it,
- 27:58Speaker 3: I'm still gonna open it. Well a year later, look
- 28:02Speaker 3: look where your marriage is. No.
- 28:04Speaker 2: I believe he said that a lot. He said about
- 28:07Speaker 2: Tom Sandoval. He was like, yeah, I mean, you know,
- 28:10Speaker 2: when he when the scandalval was going on, Jackson sort
- 28:12Speaker 2: of making the rounds on shows and podcasts and stuff,
- 28:15Speaker 2: and I think it was on Juicy's goop.
- 28:17Speaker 1: He said, Yeah.
- 28:18Speaker 2: I mean I told Sandival, like, you're doing the two
- 28:20Speaker 2: things that will kill your relationship, open a restaurant and
- 28:23Speaker 2: being a rock band. Those are the two things that'll
- 28:25Speaker 2: kill your relationship. And there he's doing one of them.
- 28:28Speaker 2: And you know, if he started a rock band, it
- 28:30Speaker 2: wouldn't surprise me either.
- 28:31Speaker 3: Oh my god. I mean, at this point, it's like
- 28:33Speaker 3: he doesn't have the show, he doesn't have the bar,
- 28:37Speaker 3: his cameo. You know, what's he gonna do?
- 28:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess cameo.
- 28:41Speaker 2: I guess he could like lower his price a little
- 28:42Speaker 2: bit and do it them involved.
- 28:44Speaker 1: You know, hey, Mary Paynt.
- 28:45Speaker 3: He could be he could go back to his other
- 28:47Speaker 3: dream job of being a social media manager for a
- 28:49Speaker 3: regional hockey team in Florida.
- 28:51Speaker 2: Remember that's right, that's that's a job that was never
- 28:54Speaker 2: a true So yeah, yeah, he's so great at social media.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Spelling is always so on point and he never messes
- 29:03Speaker 2: that up at all, so that yes, he's wanted to.
- 29:05Speaker 1: Look for it.
- 29:06Speaker 3: And he doesn't have any burner accounts like Jack's Taylor fans.
- 29:10Speaker 1: You know, he's a legend, so Denise Richards.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Okay, so this is speaking of dark this is also
- 29:18Speaker 2: getting darker. I think generally people of the world in
- 29:24Speaker 2: general can agree that we believe Denise and we don't
- 29:27Speaker 2: believe Aaron.
- 29:29Speaker 3: Yeah. I believe Denise on the physical situation, in the
- 29:35Speaker 3: abuse situation. I absolutely believe that. I don't think she's
- 29:37Speaker 3: like making up the fact that she has black eyes,
- 29:39Speaker 3: Like there are photos. Yeah, and she pointed to that
- 29:42Speaker 3: time when she was on her red carpet and she
- 29:44Speaker 3: had her brutal she had forgotten to hide the bruise
- 29:46Speaker 3: on her arms. Like they're clearly like that was happening.
- 29:49Speaker 3: That's very clear to me. I think one thing I
- 29:52Speaker 3: do believe Aaron on is that she was having an
- 29:53Speaker 3: affair with this guy from Special Forces.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Yeah, that's probably true.
- 29:57Speaker 3: Yeah, likely. I don't think he made I don't think
- 29:59Speaker 3: he made that up. And he did, but like now
- 30:01Speaker 3: he's out here, like he gave all those photos of
- 30:03Speaker 3: their text messages to the Daily Mail, and like that
- 30:07Speaker 3: feels icky to me, like just like kind of texting
- 30:10Speaker 3: them to the Daily Mail editors that fields. Yeah, so
- 30:14Speaker 3: he's trying to play them. He's trying to play the
- 30:16Speaker 3: media game as is she. But he's not gonna I
- 30:19Speaker 3: don't think he's ever gonna really convince me to be
- 30:21Speaker 3: on his side, you know. I'm mean, I'm team Denise
- 30:24Speaker 3: in this.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Yeah, there was something that came out in the last
- 30:26Speaker 2: couple of days about her going over to one of
- 30:28Speaker 2: the homes that she owns and to get her dogs,
- 30:33Speaker 2: and that his parents were afraid of her, and that
- 30:36Speaker 2: she found out that she found out that he put
- 30:40Speaker 2: down one of her dogs without asking her.
- 30:43Speaker 3: I mean that see yet, No, that.
- 30:47Speaker 2: That was one of the reasons she went over there
- 30:48Speaker 2: to get the dogs was because she found out that
- 30:51Speaker 2: he put down.
- 30:52Speaker 3: One of the dogs. The fuck.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Maybe that dog was really sick and it was time.
- 30:56Speaker 3: But it doesn't matter.
- 30:57Speaker 2: Doesn't you let that You let her know the dog
- 31:00Speaker 2: is really sick And I'm taking.
- 31:01Speaker 3: Oh, oh my god, that is that's insane.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Yeah, and so that's why she went over there, even
- 31:08Speaker 2: though she's not supposed to go over there. Yeah, she's
- 31:11Speaker 2: not supposed to go over there, but she owns the homes,
- 31:14Speaker 2: and she went to.
- 31:15Speaker 1: Get her other dog for fear of what would happen.
- 31:18Speaker 3: Of course, Oh my god, that's disgusting and I totally
- 31:20Speaker 3: believe he would do something like that. There there's always
- 31:23Speaker 3: something in there, you know, with him, and like, yes,
- 31:29Speaker 3: like that a flip could switch with him, and we all,
- 31:31Speaker 3: I mean we don't rehash it, but we all know
- 31:33Speaker 3: the scene from from when he was on the show,
- 31:35Speaker 3: and like it's just, yes, none of none of this
- 31:38Speaker 3: is surprising me. Yeah, but it does make me sad.
- 31:41Speaker 2: It makes me sad too, But I mean he seems
- 31:44Speaker 2: to be sort of a conspiracy theorist and people are
- 31:46Speaker 2: following me and you don't know anything about pharmaceuticals. And
- 31:50Speaker 2: it was interesting when she had her her once he's
- 31:53Speaker 2: in Denise and the wild Thing show. She was saying,
- 31:55Speaker 2: like she goes to get Boto because only twice a year.
- 31:57Speaker 2: She's sort of afraid of, you know, plus and surgery stuff.
- 32:00Speaker 2: And I was like, I can't imagine Aaron would let you.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Gets but tucks at all.
- 32:06Speaker 2: I know, it seems like that would be such poison.
- 32:08Speaker 2: He won't even let you take an.
- 32:09Speaker 3: Advil yet, such a good point.
- 32:13Speaker 1: I was like, that's interesting.
- 32:15Speaker 2: Well, anyway that's going to play out and it's going
- 32:18Speaker 2: to be messy, and I will tell you I just
- 32:20Speaker 2: listened to Emily D. Baker podcast and she did a
- 32:24Speaker 2: whole section on this, the back and forth between the
- 32:28Speaker 2: two of them, and from a law standpoint, it was
- 32:31Speaker 2: pretty interesting. Yeah, and his her whole thing was him
- 32:37Speaker 2: releasing nude photos and stuff from her computer that he took.
- 32:41Speaker 2: You know, that's that's California has the strictest revenge porns.
- 32:46Speaker 2: It doesn't matter if it was for public consumption to
- 32:49Speaker 2: go and only vans where people were paying for it.
- 32:51Speaker 2: If it's like unreleased stuff and he took it off
- 32:53Speaker 2: her computer and was posting it, then he's in like
- 32:56Speaker 2: more trouble than you can even imagine, which he did
- 32:58Speaker 2: that too.
- 32:59Speaker 3: And yeah, I mean, so I was shocked at some
- 33:02Speaker 3: of the stuff that we're in those photos from. Not
- 33:04Speaker 3: shocked because she sent them to somebody really, but more
- 33:06Speaker 3: shocked that he took pictures of them and sent and
- 33:09Speaker 3: put them in the media like that was But see, that's.
- 33:12Speaker 1: Where you get in trouble.
- 33:13Speaker 2: That's the whole thing with like Thomsonvaul and Oriana and
- 33:16Speaker 2: her taking the video of Raquel even though tom had
- 33:20Speaker 2: taken the video. It's like two people took I mean,
- 33:22Speaker 2: you know, it's just like, yeah, I'm gonna tell you something.
- 33:24Speaker 2: I think we need to all go back into the
- 33:25Speaker 2: dark ages, no phones, no texting, just just see somebody
- 33:28Speaker 2: and say something in person. That's probably a good idea,
- 33:33Speaker 2: but on these shows, because listen, we're still at Miami.
- 33:38Speaker 2: We've got the same thing happening in Miami with Gerty
- 33:42Speaker 2: putting out the text message, which.
- 33:44Speaker 1: Yeah, what are the text messages even say?
- 33:46Speaker 2: Is it just like thanks for coming on the boat
- 33:48Speaker 2: with me and why didn't I have a seat and
- 33:50Speaker 2: he had cancer?
- 33:51Speaker 3: Actually I interviewed Gerty last week, and Okay, in her mind,
- 33:56Speaker 3: like the contents of the texts weren't really the issue
- 34:02Speaker 3: necess like the it didn't really matter what it basically
- 34:04Speaker 3: it was proven. I guess her point from like whatever,
- 34:06Speaker 3: the cruise thing, which I don't even really care about.
- 34:08Speaker 3: I think it's a way too convoluted and old, Like
- 34:10Speaker 3: it's literally from the end of twenty thirteen, like let's
- 34:12Speaker 3: move forward, you know what I mean?
- 34:13Speaker 1: No, not twenty thirteen, twenty twenty.
- 34:15Speaker 3: Three, sorry, twenty twenty three, yeah, because I was like, what, wow,
- 34:20Speaker 3: twenty twenty three, I'm not yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, But
- 34:24Speaker 3: she was basically like yeah, like it was wrong place,
- 34:27Speaker 3: wrong time, but she she activated me and I just
- 34:32Speaker 3: needed to show that I was I was right and
- 34:34Speaker 3: didn't whether it weren't like incriminating necessarily, that has proved
- 34:37Speaker 3: her point about whatever this cruise thing was, which nobody
- 34:40Speaker 3: really cares about.
- 34:41Speaker 2: Right, So yeah, I will say that last week I
- 34:45Speaker 2: talked to tests and brooke a psycho legal pop about
- 34:50Speaker 2: what was.
- 34:50Speaker 1: Going on in Miami, and one hundred maybe ten people.
- 34:55Speaker 2: I was gonna say hundreds maybe ten people, but several
- 34:57Speaker 2: people wrote me, and somebody.
- 34:58Speaker 1: Even wrote me today.
- 35:00Speaker 2: I was like, I just listened to it, and you
- 35:01Speaker 2: forgot to mention that Julia threw the glass of water
- 35:05Speaker 2: at Gerty.
- 35:05Speaker 1: And I did.
- 35:06Speaker 2: I forgot to mention that because I was like, I
- 35:07Speaker 2: don't quite even understand where the fight came from. Like
- 35:10Speaker 2: I understand like you didn't sit me at the right
- 35:12Speaker 2: table at an event, or if Martina couldn't come one,
- 35:15Speaker 2: I couldn't be interested. I get all of that, but
- 35:18Speaker 2: I did forget forget about the water throwing.
- 35:20Speaker 3: Yeah, it's all about the water. It's all about the
- 35:22Speaker 3: water splash. And then also there is the whole thing
- 35:24Speaker 3: about the zoom of her Gertie not signing off to
- 35:27Speaker 3: the zoom about her sharing the adoption news, but it
- 35:30Speaker 3: is all about the water splash and her.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Which was weird and out of the blue.
- 35:35Speaker 3: Weird out of the blue performative. And then Gerty also
- 35:38Speaker 3: told me that she thinks that Julia was sort of
- 35:40Speaker 3: like working over time between seasons to like get people
- 35:43Speaker 3: to kind of to like kind of build up her
- 35:46Speaker 3: alliances in the group with like Alexia and Marisol just
- 35:50Speaker 3: to sort of bolster her side of whatever they had
- 35:53Speaker 3: going on or brewing. And so I just think that
- 35:57Speaker 3: Julia is sort of overplaying her hand in like and
- 36:01Speaker 3: trying to sort of establish power for herself on this
- 36:04Speaker 3: cast and on the show. And it's not it's just
- 36:08Speaker 3: not it's not authentic. It's not landing for me. And
- 36:13Speaker 3: she's to me, she's like pretty unrecognizable from the person
- 36:15Speaker 3: she was three years ago when she was milking goats
- 36:18Speaker 3: on her you know what I mean. Like that's just
- 36:22Speaker 3: not there's a there's a there's a total disconnect for
- 36:25Speaker 3: me and like I don't know.
- 36:29Speaker 1: And it's trying to stay on the show, so you're trying.
- 36:32Speaker 3: To like, yeah, it's not even yeah, I think it's
- 36:35Speaker 3: like she saw, you know, Nicole's not backs. And then
- 36:37Speaker 3: Gerty's sort of like kind of isolated, right, Like she
- 36:40Speaker 3: doesn't have like Nicole, sort of Gerty's bridge. Nicole has
- 36:44Speaker 3: had a history with Alexia, with Larsa, with with all
- 36:48Speaker 3: these with some other people. So it sort of gives Julia.
- 36:51Speaker 3: And Julia had already been sort of cuddling up with
- 36:54Speaker 3: Alexia and now she has Marisol with her. Yeah, and
- 36:57Speaker 3: so like there's this there was this opportunity for her
- 36:59Speaker 3: to sort of slide in and ascend in the ranks,
- 37:02Speaker 3: if you will. And I also actually has an interviewed
- 37:04Speaker 3: Adriana yesterday, so I've done a lot in Miami's I've
- 37:07Speaker 3: done a lot of Miami interviews recently. And Adriana said
- 37:10Speaker 3: the same thing. She's like, it's all about the show.
- 37:12Speaker 3: It's all about sort of ascending in the ranks and
- 37:14Speaker 3: being with the cool girls and just like you know,
- 37:18Speaker 3: stepping on people to get to the top from their perspective.
- 37:20Speaker 3: And that tracks for me in a lot of ways.
- 37:23Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 37:24Speaker 2: This last episode, this last episode of the Yachts, when
- 37:28Speaker 2: Adriana was so drunk, it was hilarious to me. First
- 37:32Speaker 2: of all, I love Mirasol. I'm rider down Mirasol. Mariso
- 37:34Speaker 2: could do anything Mariso call do in.
- 37:36Speaker 3: Marasol by the way of one of the chickest dressers
- 37:38Speaker 3: of any Housewives franchise. She always looks so chic hell.
- 37:43Speaker 2: She nails it. She nailed it at that white party
- 37:46Speaker 2: for Gerdy. She like in that little kind of like
- 37:48Speaker 2: everything she wears. I'm always screenshotting and putting into my
- 37:50Speaker 2: Google lens, like give me a look for less like
- 37:53Speaker 2: Doupe dot com, Like I need it, even though I mean,
- 37:56Speaker 2: I'm a regular sized person, but I'm three times her size.
- 37:59Speaker 3: She I mean, she she is idyo bitty. Yeah she's idiot.
- 38:03Speaker 1: Yeah, she's a little elephant. But I love her and
- 38:06Speaker 1: I love that.
- 38:08Speaker 2: Marisol was like, no, I don't want to be on
- 38:10Speaker 2: a boat with Adriana, Like, oh my god, I don't
- 38:12Speaker 2: want to.
- 38:14Speaker 1: And then Adriana got drunk and got mad.
- 38:15Speaker 2: Like why don't you want to be on the boat
- 38:17Speaker 2: with me?
- 38:17Speaker 1: She's calling her wrinkly knees.
- 38:19Speaker 3: And then that episode Mary Pyne was a perfect episode
- 38:24Speaker 3: of Real Housewives if you ask me, Like it was funny.
- 38:26Speaker 3: It was so deeply unserious, but like they still a drama,
- 38:30Speaker 3: they still like I was cracking up Adriana on the
- 38:34Speaker 3: other boat yelling across the boat, and then they all
- 38:37Speaker 3: left her. But then she was still talking to the
- 38:39Speaker 3: staff on the boat. It was or when they were
- 38:42Speaker 3: scorting the water gun in her feet in her mouth
- 38:45Speaker 3: like she was.
- 38:45Speaker 2: They were like, don't get me wet. It was like
- 38:47Speaker 2: Ramona Singer, you know, don't.
- 38:49Speaker 1: Who are you to get me wet?
- 38:50Speaker 3: It was very that.
- 38:50Speaker 1: It was very that, now what thoughts on Stephanie?
- 38:53Speaker 2: Because I did have a listener send me a bunch
- 38:56Speaker 2: of stuff about Stephanie's husband being like in.
- 38:58Speaker 1: Full foreclosure and that how she's.
- 39:00Speaker 2: Showing is like they fully don't own it anymore, like
- 39:04Speaker 2: the bank owns it. And I was like, what's happening?
- 39:06Speaker 2: There is this another scammer situation on that.
- 39:09Speaker 3: Kind of stuff. That kind of stuff I'm like, I
- 39:12Speaker 3: take with a grain of salt until like I don't know,
- 39:16Speaker 3: I feel like she's been on for like five episodes,
- 39:18Speaker 3: like they're filming the union tomorrow, Like let's like that
- 39:22Speaker 3: that's percolating out there, so like I'm sure it'll be
- 39:24Speaker 3: brought up at the reunion. Let's see how she reacts
- 39:27Speaker 3: to it. Honestly, I don't really do a lot of
- 39:30Speaker 3: the like stuff that bubbles up on the Reddit because
- 39:33Speaker 3: I'm just sort of like I need it's just too
- 39:35Speaker 3: sort of to me. But yeah, yeah, and there's also
- 39:42Speaker 3: there's clearly a lot there though, like there's clearly something happening.
- 39:45Speaker 3: I just don't really need to make sense of it myself.
- 39:47Speaker 3: But you know, you always do have to like take
- 39:50Speaker 3: a step back or no pause when somebody new comes
- 39:54Speaker 3: onto a housewive show and like projects so much wealth,
- 39:58Speaker 3: you know what I mean, Like yeah, just like that
- 39:59Speaker 3: can't be touched. You always have to like kind of
- 40:04Speaker 3: squintle a little bit, right.
- 40:06Speaker 2: Yeah, it's so it's so the her showing, you know,
- 40:09Speaker 2: Adrona where her closet will be and this will be
- 40:11Speaker 2: my wall for my burkins, and the ceilings are forty
- 40:14Speaker 2: feet and you know all this stuff.
- 40:16Speaker 1: And I had them move the pool because I didn't
- 40:18Speaker 1: want to like look at the pool.
- 40:19Speaker 2: That you know, if you have moved the pool money
- 40:24Speaker 2: like just hear that, just tear the house down, start over,
- 40:27Speaker 2: like what do you do? It was crazy and for
- 40:30Speaker 2: her for her to to be like this will be
- 40:31Speaker 2: my wall of burkins, this will be this, I was like,
- 40:34Speaker 2: it reminds you of the phrase, you know, money screams
- 40:37Speaker 2: and wealth whispers. Yes, it's like girls stop like how
- 40:42Speaker 2: about just it's sort of like Doctor Nicole in the
- 40:45Speaker 2: way that they are so rich, Like she is so rich,
- 40:50Speaker 2: but you never really snee her talk about it.
- 40:52Speaker 1: She wouldn't be like, look at my wallet, Berkins.
- 40:54Speaker 3: Yeah, the way they talk about their money is so different.
- 40:58Speaker 3: It's so different. I think Stephanie Presents is having the
- 41:01Speaker 3: same amount as Doctor and Cole and Anthony. But yeah,
- 41:04Speaker 3: Nicole was very she like she said it with like
- 41:08Speaker 3: a twinkle in her eye, you know, yeah, like she
- 41:10Speaker 3: give her the wink. But she wouldn't straight out be
- 41:12Speaker 3: straight up be like, yeah, we paid five thousand dollars
- 41:15Speaker 3: for that, or we paid six million dollars for that.
- 41:17Speaker 3: Like she didn't. That was not the way that she
- 41:19Speaker 3: really talked unless she was pressed to give an answer sometimes.
- 41:23Speaker 3: But yeah, they definitely that's a good dichotomy there. And
- 41:27Speaker 3: to compare to how they talked about their money.
- 41:29Speaker 2: Well, because I saw Nicole this week and I was like,
- 41:32Speaker 2: I love her. Gerty was like, what are we doing
- 41:35Speaker 2: to get you back into the friend group?
- 41:37Speaker 1: What are we doing to get you back on this show?
- 41:39Speaker 2: So I don't have to do it by myself. I
- 41:41Speaker 2: was like, yes, Gerty, you're all of us, yeah on
- 41:43Speaker 2: the show.
- 41:44Speaker 3: Yeah. But I think that the gerdy Julia thing like
- 41:48Speaker 3: sort of it's sort of like that's the direction that
- 41:52Speaker 3: Nicole wouldn't want, that would not want the show to
- 41:54Speaker 3: go in that that is not like, that's not enticing
- 41:57Speaker 3: her to come back to the show. That whole thing interesting.
- 41:59Speaker 1: To Stephanie used today Anthony too, huh.
- 42:02Speaker 3: I know, a very long time ago. But and you
- 42:04Speaker 3: could tell, like Nicole I think dropped out of the
- 42:06Speaker 3: season pretty close to production, and so I think that,
- 42:11Speaker 3: you know, they clearly wanted the Stephanie a Cole thing
- 42:14Speaker 3: to be a thing. Yeah, you know, they lost something
- 42:17Speaker 3: and that I still think it's been a great season,
- 42:19Speaker 3: but they wanted that to be a thing. And so
- 42:21Speaker 3: now they're nice in the press.
- 42:23Speaker 1: But what about who did Nicole say?
- 42:26Speaker 2: Somebody she said had put out a p I to
- 42:28Speaker 2: like Marisol, Come on, I just talked about how great
- 42:31Speaker 2: you are.
- 42:31Speaker 3: Don't do that to Nicole alleges hired a private investigator
- 42:36Speaker 3: on her. I think Marisol really wants them to be
- 42:40Speaker 3: full time.
- 42:41Speaker 2: And why isn't she She's there for she's like Luyn
- 42:44Speaker 2: when Luis.
- 42:45Speaker 3: She's never seen. I think it's just because she doesn't
- 42:47Speaker 3: have that much personal storyline going on. She's gotten married
- 42:50Speaker 3: like four times in the same guy. Like there's like
- 42:52Speaker 3: there's not much else going on. Mama Else is not
- 42:55Speaker 3: around anymore. I I p yeah, I think that is
- 42:59Speaker 3: the biggest reason why Adriana and Marisol aren't. I think
- 43:04Speaker 3: Kiki originally wasn't because she They don't. I don't think
- 43:06Speaker 3: they foresaw her being such a star and such a
- 43:08Speaker 3: hit with fans, and that's why she's like every season
- 43:11Speaker 3: like her her sort of her space on the show
- 43:13Speaker 3: has been gotten bigger and bigger. I think if anybody
- 43:17Speaker 3: gets one, it would be her. Like I think she's
- 43:19Speaker 3: sort of on a trap to sort of build and
- 43:21Speaker 3: build and build. Where I think Marisol and Adriana I
- 43:24Speaker 3: would love to see them get mohitos. Don't get me wrong,
- 43:26Speaker 3: but like I think they're fantastic as they are, you
- 43:30Speaker 3: know what I mean. Like, yeah, and it's also a
- 43:32Speaker 3: money thing for sure.
- 43:33Speaker 2: Well, like I told you, I started watching Miami from
- 43:36Speaker 2: season one after Marisol and Alexia We're on Ultimate Girls
- 43:40Speaker 2: trap because I was like I've never watched Miami, but
- 43:43Speaker 2: I love these two and now I.
- 43:44Speaker 1: Feel like I have to.
- 43:45Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a good watch in the beginning, especially seasons.
- 43:48Speaker 3: Season two and season three are very good, very good
- 43:51Speaker 3: seasons of Let me tell.
- 43:52Speaker 1: You something that Larsa.
- 43:53Speaker 2: When I started watching it and I knew what the
- 43:56Speaker 2: current cast looks like, and when I was watching it
- 43:58Speaker 2: with Larsa and Scotti, Pep and all.
- 44:00Speaker 1: That, I was like, is that the same girl?
- 44:02Speaker 3: Like?
- 44:02Speaker 2: I was so confused, and she talked so awfully about
- 44:05Speaker 2: like her staff and stuff.
- 44:07Speaker 1: I was like, oh, this isn't an age.
- 44:08Speaker 3: Well, yeah, it didn't age well. I think I think
- 44:12Speaker 3: most of that season doesn't age very well. Yeah, there's
- 44:17Speaker 3: also a black of it all. Yeah, that was those
- 44:19Speaker 3: are those are good days of the.
- 44:20Speaker 2: Show, Leah Black being best friends with what's the guy?
- 44:24Speaker 2: The Girl's gone wild? Jeffran says, yeah, yes, oh my god.
- 44:27Speaker 3: Yes. And there was the there was a drag queen
- 44:29Speaker 3: drama too, that one drag queen that was around.
- 44:32Speaker 1: Oh yes, none of that age.
- 44:34Speaker 2: Well you're so right, meek, All right, let's quickly talk
- 44:39Speaker 2: about the o C. So, Gretchen is back and I
- 44:43Speaker 2: didn't like I didn't like the mean girls talking about
- 44:46Speaker 2: how she looks like a filter. Even when she's out
- 44:49Speaker 2: in the world, she still looks like a filter. I mean,
- 44:52Speaker 2: it's true, but I didn't like them sitting around and
- 44:55Speaker 2: like cackling about it.
- 44:56Speaker 3: Yeah. What I think that I was fine with was
- 44:59Speaker 3: like the thing of her photos, which can be like
- 45:02Speaker 3: crazy sometimes like it's like guys, like you have to
- 45:05Speaker 3: laugh at that. But I agree the saying that she
- 45:07Speaker 3: looks like that in real life. I'm like, that's just
- 45:10Speaker 3: low hanging fruit, you know what I mean, Like find
- 45:12Speaker 3: like find something more creative.
- 45:13Speaker 2: Honestly, it's crazy this week when they had you Joe
- 45:16Speaker 2: come in and all that, and then we kept seeing
- 45:19Speaker 2: like Old Slade and New Slade. What is going New
- 45:23Speaker 2: Slade's hair is like it's like he's a Las Vegas
- 45:26Speaker 2: lounge singer. It's like swoops up and over. And I
- 45:29Speaker 2: didn't realize it until we saw Old Slade when he
- 45:31Speaker 2: had regular hair, was like, is he trying to cover
- 45:33Speaker 2: something because he's got it so so like he had
- 45:36Speaker 2: to work on that hairdo He did?
- 45:39Speaker 3: He did, and I think it's still work in progress.
- 45:43Speaker 3: Let's just say that they did.
- 45:45Speaker 2: She did prefer to Slade as her husband on the show,
- 45:47Speaker 2: but then later they showed him in the kitchen with
- 45:49Speaker 2: the with the daughter and it said Slade Gretchen's life partner,
- 45:53Speaker 2: but she did refer to him as my husband.
- 45:56Speaker 3: I feel like that is I bet you either what
- 46:00Speaker 3: do you what do you think that means? That means
- 46:02Speaker 3: are secretly married? Uh?
- 46:05Speaker 1: No, because I don't think she would get secretly married
- 46:08Speaker 1: us yeh just used the terms.
- 46:11Speaker 2: Yeah, and maybe it's a it could be a legal thing,
- 46:13Speaker 2: you know, his ex wives and whatnot. I'm not thrilled
- 46:17Speaker 2: that she's back. I don't really care so far. I
- 46:18Speaker 2: don't feel like.
- 46:19Speaker 1: She's bringing anything.
- 46:20Speaker 2: I I am more interested in that whole Katie thing
- 46:25Speaker 2: and how everybody's kind of turned on Katie, but then
- 46:28Speaker 2: everybody kind of turned on Emily after the reunion, and
- 46:30Speaker 2: it's sort of.
- 46:31Speaker 1: Like, oh, where do we go?
- 46:32Speaker 2: Because also, I don't like that Emily's brought this thing
- 46:35Speaker 2: up about her ten year old son on camera, even
- 46:37Speaker 2: though I'm sure production told her she should. I kind
- 46:41Speaker 2: of don't like it because he's only ten.
- 46:44Speaker 3: Yeah. I think that Emily had a really bad reunion
- 46:48Speaker 3: last year. I hated I hated when she brought all
- 46:51Speaker 3: that stuff up. I thought it was so besides the
- 46:53Speaker 3: point and like so punching down, like all everything about
- 46:57Speaker 3: it just like did not land well at all, and
- 46:59Speaker 3: it made her look really bad. And I think that
- 47:01Speaker 3: she's having this season now where like' just kind of
- 47:04Speaker 3: continuing to go full force and it's just not really
- 47:09Speaker 3: coming off the way that she thinks it's going to
- 47:11Speaker 3: come off. You know, I think that she she kind
- 47:13Speaker 3: of hired her high on her own supply right now,
- 47:17Speaker 3: and it's not And that's not to say that like
- 47:19Speaker 3: I am buying all what Katie's selling either, Like there's
- 47:22Speaker 3: a lot like there's a lot of smoke there in
- 47:24Speaker 3: terms of like she got in way over her head
- 47:27Speaker 3: as a housewife. She was clearly corresponding with a lot
- 47:30Speaker 3: of these different fan accounts and as they call bloggers
- 47:33Speaker 3: or podcasters, whatever term you want to use, Like the
- 47:36Speaker 3: bloggers is very twenty twelve to know.
- 47:38Speaker 2: I'm always like, who is a blogger? Are you trying
- 47:41Speaker 2: to sell Kiki Monique, who we both know is a blogger?
- 47:43Speaker 3: I don't think so that's she's ax exactly, But like
- 47:48Speaker 3: you know, now this is the third thing that's come
- 47:50Speaker 3: up about her corresponding with these people, and it's like,
- 47:54Speaker 3: and that's on top of the paparazzi thing from last
- 47:57Speaker 3: year where she was in correspondent with the head paparazzi guy.
- 48:00Speaker 3: So it's like there's a lot of that and like
- 48:01Speaker 3: clearly she thought that was sort of what the game was,
- 48:04Speaker 3: and that's like, if you're going to do that, which
- 48:06Speaker 3: I believe a lot of them do that. Yeah, don't
- 48:08Speaker 3: get caught real smart about it, like ye, all of
- 48:11Speaker 3: them have their preferred people that they talk to, I'm sure,
- 48:14Speaker 3: but like you she she it sounds like she was
- 48:18Speaker 3: like doing outreach to people, you know what I mean. Yes,
- 48:21Speaker 3: it's it's and it's sort of it sucks that I do.
- 48:25Speaker 3: When Katie has her like personal scenes and things, I'm like,
- 48:27Speaker 3: I really like you, you know, I'm like, I really
- 48:30Speaker 3: like there are so many things to like about Katie.
- 48:32Speaker 3: But then like you turn the corner and it's like, well,
- 48:35Speaker 3: you were talking about us to Kikimnique, or you were
- 48:38Speaker 3: calling Bravo babe, or you were and it's like, how
- 48:42Speaker 3: much of this did she do? Is it all out
- 48:44Speaker 3: there yet? Yeah?
- 48:45Speaker 2: I mean I know people personally that she reached out
- 48:47Speaker 2: to and then later blocked them, and then later unblocked
- 48:52Speaker 2: them and apologized for blocking them, And these people are like, girl,
- 48:55Speaker 2: I don't know you like what she messaged.
- 48:57Speaker 3: She messaged me, did I tell you this?
- 48:59Speaker 1: No, that isn't surprise me.
- 49:01Speaker 3: She messages me after I talked about her on my
- 49:02Speaker 3: podcast not even that nothing too crazy. It was like
- 49:05Speaker 3: thirty minutes into the show, and three hours after that
- 49:07Speaker 3: episode came out, I got a message from her, and
- 49:09Speaker 3: it was just like, you're you got to be above
- 49:13Speaker 3: the frail little bit more than that if you're gonna yeah.
- 49:16Speaker 2: Yeah, And you don't need to listen to all the
- 49:17Speaker 2: podcasts either, because like, no again, you can't have enough time.
- 49:21Speaker 1: There's so many podcasts, you know.
- 49:23Speaker 3: No, it's and it's just like be better off, just
- 49:25Speaker 3: like being yourself on these shows. Don't care about what
- 49:27Speaker 3: the accounts are really posting about you, Like, yeah, it's
- 49:30Speaker 3: obviously easier said than done. But I don't know. She
- 49:33Speaker 3: just has dug herself into such a hole, like curious.
- 49:38Speaker 1: You don't play in the off season, right, it's off season,
- 49:41Speaker 1: Like you're not, don't. Yeah?
- 49:43Speaker 2: Well I do like her husband, and I like how
- 49:45Speaker 2: he just like rides so hard. He's like to, like,
- 49:48Speaker 2: whatever they're saying, it's there. I was like, are you not,
- 49:51Speaker 2: It's okay. I think her personal story with the kids
- 49:54Speaker 2: and all that, I think it's I think it's something
- 49:57Speaker 2: a lot of people could relate to. And I think
- 49:59Speaker 2: that that that's interesting and I think she kind of
- 50:02Speaker 2: didn't have to do that. I'm going to record this
- 50:03Speaker 2: on my phone. I think it was Emily that was
- 50:06Speaker 2: on Watch What Happens Live. Randy was like asking about
- 50:09Speaker 2: the recording the Shannon having the meltdown and did she
- 50:12Speaker 2: remember and she goes, no, I don't remember. I've known
- 50:14Speaker 2: Channa for a long time. I've seen a lot of meltdowns.
- 50:17Speaker 2: I don't know that particular one doesn't stand out.
- 50:20Speaker 1: Meltdowns all the time.
- 50:22Speaker 3: And that and that's a perfect answer, you know what
- 50:24Speaker 3: I mean. And that track, you know clearly clearly Katie
- 50:27Speaker 3: was sort of like shocked by it or whatever. But again, yeah,
- 50:30Speaker 3: like and that talk about apparently that's technically illegal as well.
- 50:34Speaker 3: She didn't have consent to be recorded, and it's right,
- 50:38Speaker 3: I don't know. And also I just feel like she's
- 50:40Speaker 3: told different stories about that. It's like, did she play
- 50:43Speaker 3: it for a Lexus and them when they're on their
- 50:44Speaker 3: triple date or did she just talk about it or
- 50:46Speaker 3: did she only send it to her husband, Like we've
- 50:48Speaker 3: we've heard three different explanations for it, and that's also
- 50:52Speaker 3: part of her issue. She can't stick to a story.
- 50:55Speaker 1: Yeah, all of that is the issue.
- 50:57Speaker 2: And I don't know. I do think she'll have a
- 51:00Speaker 2: I was surprised she was back on this season. Honestly,
- 51:02Speaker 2: I was like, Oh, she's not gonna either she's not
- 51:03Speaker 2: going to want to come back, or they're gonna say
- 51:06Speaker 2: like it's too messy. That she came on back, and
- 51:08Speaker 2: that's probably a good thing because she is propelling a
- 51:12Speaker 2: lot of the storylines and we've got you know, Tamar
- 51:16Speaker 2: out there still fighting with Jen.
- 51:18Speaker 1: I'm like, come on.
- 51:20Speaker 3: The thing is, though, I think that they're such good
- 51:23Speaker 3: adversaries because Jen can hold her own, Like yeah, scene
- 51:26Speaker 3: of them sitting down at that Mexican restaurant, they didn't
- 51:29Speaker 3: even order anything, They had chips and deneat them and
- 51:31Speaker 3: left like that was that scene. That argument. It just worked,
- 51:36Speaker 3: Like they their dynamic is so tense, but like they
- 51:40Speaker 3: can both take it to each other and they don't
- 51:42Speaker 3: really they don't really back down to one another. Yeah,
- 51:45Speaker 3: I know that, like Tamman needs to like let the
- 51:47Speaker 3: mouse go. But I love Jen as an adversary for her.
- 51:50Speaker 3: I think that because I love Jen Bradanti. I think
- 51:53Speaker 3: that she is I I like almost everything about her,
- 51:57Speaker 3: Like it's really I like how.
- 51:59Speaker 1: She came into goes, how are you doing?
- 52:00Speaker 2: I have that belt and she goes, oh, yeah, I
- 52:02Speaker 2: like I have it too, and then they start the
- 52:04Speaker 2: whole thing about the only on Housewives will a conversation
- 52:07Speaker 2: we had about somebody's hair extensions being put into somebody
- 52:10Speaker 2: else's head, which is just.
- 52:12Speaker 3: So and it's like and I totally believe Jen's explanation
- 52:16Speaker 3: for that, like yeah, like camera tried to try to
- 52:19Speaker 3: present it as this like creepy, weird thing if she
- 52:21Speaker 3: wants to be me, and it's like, yeah, we were
- 52:23Speaker 3: just we were just walking around because they were laying
- 52:25Speaker 3: around at the hair salon, and we both go to like,
- 52:27Speaker 3: they didn't put it in my head, like it's not
- 52:29Speaker 3: that not that serious, not that crazy, like of course
- 52:33Speaker 3: Hamra did that, and.
- 52:34Speaker 1: It's so funny.
- 52:34Speaker 2: It's like I'm trying to soak up the essence of
- 52:36Speaker 2: you by putting your hair in my head like what
- 52:41Speaker 2: but only on Housewives. And I also did enjoy that
- 52:43Speaker 2: Terry Debro was stoned out of his mind at the party.
- 52:46Speaker 1: I enjoyed that as well.
- 52:48Speaker 3: It's very much like give us more of that, Terry,
- 52:50Speaker 3: Like I like, we need, we need more less, we
- 52:55Speaker 3: need less buttoned up due bro moments sometimes, And that
- 52:58Speaker 3: was a great one. I totally agree.
- 53:00Speaker 1: Him not talking about all the time.
- 53:02Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, but like okay, the throwing the glasses at
- 53:05Speaker 3: the gong, Like, how imagine being in a party, like
- 53:08Speaker 3: a cockshail party, and you're like trying to held have
- 53:11Speaker 3: conversations every five seconds, somebody's like throwing a glass at
- 53:13Speaker 3: a gong across. Yeah. I was confused by that. I
- 53:16Speaker 3: I didn't understand that. I didn't.
- 53:18Speaker 2: I mean, as it was a plastic glass that they
- 53:20Speaker 2: were throwing.
- 53:22Speaker 3: But it was they were adding glass noises at least
- 53:27Speaker 3: if they weren't actually glass.
- 53:30Speaker 1: I think of the mess that would make because it
- 53:32Speaker 1: would go all.
- 53:32Speaker 3: I know, it's dangerous, I agree, and every time it
- 53:36Speaker 3: was weird soutive.
- 53:39Speaker 2: Do you think that they'll bring Joe in as a
- 53:41Speaker 2: friend up and test her back out?
- 53:46Speaker 3: You know, I don't know, Like I think it depends
- 53:50Speaker 3: on how well Gretchen performs the rest of the season,
- 53:53Speaker 3: and I think all signs point to her performing at
- 53:55Speaker 3: least better than Alexis did in the middle. That bar
- 53:58Speaker 3: is underground, so there's the only way to go from
- 54:01Speaker 3: there was up. But to me, like I like the
- 54:05Speaker 3: instinct of tamer bringing Joe to that event, but like
- 54:08Speaker 3: it didn't really do anything.
- 54:09Speaker 1: Because nobody's mad at Joe, nobody hates Yeah, it was.
- 54:12Speaker 3: Sort of like, and I think that Joe we talked.
- 54:16Speaker 3: I talk sometimes about like old school like new housewives
- 54:19Speaker 3: who kind of give old school housewives like Angela Oakley
- 54:21Speaker 3: to me, is that in a really good way, whereas
- 54:24Speaker 3: like Joe to me, is somebody nothing not to like
- 54:27Speaker 3: about her. But I'm sort of like if they added
- 54:30Speaker 3: her back, like I kind of feel like she's sort
- 54:32Speaker 3: of stuck in the early days of the show, right
- 54:37Speaker 3: old school in a helpful way to the show. So
- 54:40Speaker 3: I don't know, Like I'm not I wasn't convinced by
- 54:42Speaker 3: that little cameo she made.
- 54:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I wasn't either, And also I didn't even recognize
- 54:46Speaker 2: her Dack Gina Kiyoh, that's who we need.
- 54:49Speaker 1: No, I'm just kidding.
- 54:51Speaker 2: Unless she's doing something great, then do bring myr Gina,
- 54:54Speaker 2: Gina Gina.
- 54:56Speaker 3: But here's the thing, I feel like the show's and
- 54:58Speaker 3: I feel like the show other than it's reliance season
- 55:00Speaker 3: on like too many bloggers podcasters stand accounts, like there's
- 55:05Speaker 3: too much of that. Otherwise, I like love the State
- 55:08Speaker 3: of OC. I think it's like very it's in a
- 55:10Speaker 3: healthy place as a franchise. So I'm like, you don't
- 55:12Speaker 3: need to fuck with it that much either, you know
- 55:14Speaker 3: what I mean, Just let it ride. Like there's a
- 55:16Speaker 3: lot of interesting group dynamic stuff happening right now.
- 55:19Speaker 1: Oh, people hate Tamra so bad. I just don't hate
- 55:21Speaker 1: her as much as.
- 55:22Speaker 3: I'm not there. No, I'm not. I'm not there with
- 55:24Speaker 3: her either.
- 55:24Speaker 2: No, everybody's like cameras the worst. I'm like, I don't know,
- 55:26Speaker 2: she's such good TV.
- 55:27Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, I'm sorry, she helps save the show,
- 55:30Speaker 3: so like, yeah, I think such like it's just yeah,
- 55:33Speaker 3: she she goes too far and she there's there's a
- 55:36Speaker 3: lot of stunts that get pulled, and so she should
- 55:38Speaker 3: rain that in a little bit. But like, I'm sorry,
- 55:42Speaker 3: she knows, she's she knows what she's doing, and she's
- 55:45Speaker 3: she also never cared. She doesn't care to be liked
- 55:47Speaker 3: so and I well, yeah about her. I appreciate that
- 55:50Speaker 3: about her.
- 55:50Speaker 2: If I was on any of these shows, I wouldn't
- 55:52Speaker 2: have one friend. I would never tell one person anything ever,
- 55:54Speaker 2: because you can't text something, you can't say something.
- 55:56Speaker 1: It's then bring it up three years later, you know.
- 55:59Speaker 3: Right, I'm now they're all realizing they can't even text
- 56:03Speaker 3: each other because like then they're gonna screen shots are
- 56:05Speaker 3: gonna be Gertie's releasing screenshots. Yeah, you know, Katie, all
- 56:09Speaker 3: her screenshots are being released, like things are Denise's screenshots. Like,
- 56:13Speaker 3: you can't be texting. I guess if you're a housewife,
- 56:15Speaker 3: you just gotta be sending voice notes that expire.
- 56:17Speaker 2: Voices to aspire. Yeah, and you see if somebody says
- 56:20Speaker 2: when you go to their house and rub their.
- 56:21Speaker 1: Phone out of their hand.
- 56:23Speaker 2: Yeah, well, Gibson, we have to wrap it up, but
- 56:26Speaker 2: tell everybody where they can find you and your fun podcast.
- 56:29Speaker 2: I did see your clip that you put up on
- 56:31Speaker 2: social media of Gurdy where she like tear.
- 56:34Speaker 3: Yeah, she was emotional over the Julia stuff. Yeah. I've
- 56:39Speaker 3: been doing a lot of Miami interviews recently. My show's
- 56:41Speaker 3: called Gavin with Gibb twice a week Tuesdays and Friday
- 56:45Speaker 3: sometimes more wherever you get this great podcast, and you
- 56:48Speaker 3: can follow me at Gibsonoma on Twitter, threads, Instagram, wherever, TikTok. Yeah,
- 56:55Speaker 3: so that's those are the plugs.
- 56:57Speaker 1: Why is your Instagram name Gibsonoma.
- 57:00Speaker 3: Because and in sixth grade, a good friend of mine
- 57:05Speaker 3: started calling me that because there was a Williams Sonoma
- 57:07Speaker 3: catalog sitting there and it just she started. She started
- 57:10Speaker 3: calling me that, and it just stuck. And then when
- 57:13Speaker 3: it came time to I feel like the first time
- 57:15Speaker 3: I used it as the username was when Twitter came around,
- 57:18Speaker 3: which was like the beginning of like middle of high
- 57:20Speaker 3: school for me. Yeah. I just used that because that's
- 57:23Speaker 3: what she was calling me, and I just kept using it.
- 57:27Speaker 1: So well, I'm just like, you think that you live
- 57:29Speaker 1: in Sonoma, but you don't.
- 57:30Speaker 3: No no opally just like a childhood nickname from a friend. Yeah,
- 57:34Speaker 3: I think it's kind of chic.
- 57:36Speaker 1: It's cute.
- 57:37Speaker 3: It's cute.
- 57:38Speaker 2: All right, Everybody follow Gibson and go listen to his podcast.
- 57:41Speaker 2: You have some great interviews over there Gabbing with GiB
- 57:44Speaker 2: and please remember to follow me as well at Paint
- 57:46Speaker 2: Shade Pod and I will talk to you soon.
- 57:49Speaker 3: Thanks for having me
