- 0:03Speaker 1: The Gun Writer.
- 0:05Speaker 2: You can watch read follow his work at The Gunwriter
- 0:10Speaker 2: dot substack dot com. Lee Williams joins us, Hello sir,
- 0:13Speaker 2: how are you.
- 0:15Speaker 3: I'm loving the theme music Man thank.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Right, going spaghetti Western all in.
- 0:22Speaker 3: I'm dealing with it. I love it, love it.
- 0:25Speaker 1: All right.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Uh, we've been horrified by what we know about Kamala
- 0:31Speaker 2: Harris and Tim Walls. It's I mean, it's Kamala is inepp.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Tim Walls is horrifying. But Lee, you've written a piece
- 0:41Speaker 2: lately that chronicles the real challenge that this administration would
- 0:46Speaker 2: would pose to people that believe and love the Second Amendment.
- 0:52Speaker 3: I have this this administration would be I mean, I
- 0:57Speaker 3: said the same thing about Joe Biden. Joe Biden has
- 0:59Speaker 3: been the most anti gun president in the history of
- 1:02Speaker 3: the country. This administration would make him look like a piker,
- 1:05Speaker 3: like a beginner. It is incredible. First of all, you've
- 1:09Speaker 3: got Kamala, who we all know is you know, just
- 1:13Speaker 3: a couple of weeks before the debate that took Joe out,
- 1:16Speaker 3: they were telling Joe to get rid of her because
- 1:18Speaker 3: she's now you know, she wasn't competent to be be
- 1:21Speaker 3: as veep and now she's like they're treating her like
- 1:24Speaker 3: a cross between JFK and Pericles. I've never seen anything
- 1:28Speaker 3: like it. You know, they still don't have exactly what
- 1:34Speaker 3: they want to do for gun control on their website,
- 1:37Speaker 3: so I had to go to the Democratic Party platform
- 1:40Speaker 3: in twenty twenty four to see where they're at. And
- 1:43Speaker 3: basically the guiding principle from all this is there. If
- 1:47Speaker 3: they're going to be tyrannical, they're not. They're smart enough
- 1:50Speaker 3: not to put it in writing. I mean, they're calling
- 1:53Speaker 3: for background checks, assault weapon magazine bands, you name it.
- 1:57Speaker 3: But it's what it's the stuff that's not in new
- 2:00Speaker 3: that really concerns me. We took a hard look at
- 2:02Speaker 3: what they've done and what they've said. No doubt in
- 2:05Speaker 3: my mind, brother, they're going to go for an ar confiscation,
- 2:08Speaker 3: whether that be through some type of executive order, of
- 2:12Speaker 3: which she will issue probably more than one hundred. Joe
- 2:16Speaker 3: Biden's issued forty anti gun executive orders. She'll probably do
- 2:20Speaker 3: more than that. On day one. He's already said he
- 2:24Speaker 3: wants a mandatory buyback, which is a smoke screen for confiscation.
- 2:29Speaker 3: The point is, I don't think they're going to just
- 2:31Speaker 3: stop at ar's president, I think they're going to go
- 2:33Speaker 3: for other popular rifles. You're going to see defensive shotguns
- 2:37Speaker 3: and probably some handguns on there too. They're going to
- 2:39Speaker 3: try and take them all. It's going to be up
- 2:41Speaker 3: to us to try and stop that in the courts.
- 2:45Speaker 3: We already know that's going to happen if they get
- 2:47Speaker 3: in now. Joe Biden weaponized the ATF. I think I
- 2:53Speaker 3: think Harris and m Loon Waltz will criminalize it upon
- 3:00Speaker 3: what they've done. Remember when they had the lockdown, Waltz
- 3:03Speaker 3: ordered his police in Minnesota, my home state, to shoot
- 3:06Speaker 3: paintballs at any residents that were outside of their home,
- 3:10Speaker 3: right on their porch or in their yard. He has
- 3:13Speaker 3: got no issue with ordering law enforcement to break the
- 3:17Speaker 3: law and violate somebody civil rights. By the way, if
- 3:19Speaker 3: you or I did that, we'd be facing aggravated battery charges.
- 3:22Speaker 3: But for cops it's okay. So I think when they
- 3:26Speaker 3: get in office, if that happens, the ATF is no
- 3:29Speaker 3: one's going to be hacker than the ATF because they've
- 3:32Speaker 3: already proven more than willing to violate civil rights. They've
- 3:36Speaker 3: never heard of the constitution. So what you're going to
- 3:39Speaker 3: see is a huge uptick in these knock and talks,
- 3:41Speaker 3: and I've documented a few of them on my website
- 3:45Speaker 3: where they knock on the door try and get consent,
- 3:47Speaker 3: trying to scare the owner into turning something over or
- 3:50Speaker 3: allowing them to search. You're also going to see them
- 3:52Speaker 3: going absolutely crazy on licensed gun dealers and law binding
- 3:58Speaker 3: gun owners. I I hope I'm wrong. I hope this
- 4:02Speaker 3: is all moot based on what happens November fifth, but
- 4:06Speaker 3: we're preparing for it as though it's going to happen.
- 4:08Speaker 4: It's The Morning Show with Preston Scott on US Radio
- 4:11Speaker 4: one hundred point seven, Domla Born on US Radio double
- 4:16Speaker 4: Umla aanamacity dot com.
- 4:20Speaker 1: He's the gunwriter Lee Williams Lee.
- 4:22Speaker 2: This is not related, but it kind of is because
- 4:25Speaker 2: it speaks to the personality and the type of an
- 4:30Speaker 2: administrator of this nation she would be. It's one of
- 4:34Speaker 2: our big stories. It's been determined that if you want
- 4:38Speaker 2: to work for the Kamala Harris campaign, you are required
- 4:42Speaker 2: to have the COVID vaccine.
- 4:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I've seen that. That says everything you need to know.
- 4:48Speaker 3: By comparison, President Trump is looking to get all those
- 4:53Speaker 3: people who are discharged from the military for not wanting
- 4:56Speaker 3: to take the vaccine back pay an apology in their job,
- 5:00Speaker 3: fact that they want it, if they want it, you know,
- 5:03Speaker 3: it's all about control with her, yes, always has been.
- 5:07Speaker 3: And if you look at Waltz, I mean, I don't
- 5:10Speaker 3: think that guy is sane. Okay. The fact that he
- 5:13Speaker 3: had to come out and tell the whole country I'm
- 5:16Speaker 3: such a great shot. I'm such I'm a better shot
- 5:18Speaker 3: than all of the Republican lawmakers, and I've got the
- 5:21Speaker 3: trophies to prove it. Okay. My world is full of
- 5:25Speaker 3: guys and gals who are pretty good shots. Okay. Nobody
- 5:31Speaker 3: talks about.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Talks about it like that, if they can do it.
- 5:36Speaker 3: No, not at all, not at all. This guy with
- 5:39Speaker 3: his M four that he carried into battle. I mean,
- 5:44Speaker 3: as a veterans, the response from the veterans community, especially
- 5:48Speaker 3: we found out his challenge challenge coin and Sergeant major
- 5:52Speaker 3: on there as opposed to Masters Argeant, I've never seen
- 5:55Speaker 3: anything like it. I've bet I've got hundreds of hundreds
- 5:59Speaker 3: of emails. Mother Eve's just saying, you know, this guy's nuts,
- 6:03Speaker 3: he's a balor thief. Nothing wrong with his career. I
- 6:08Speaker 3: loved the National Guard. Great honorable service. I'm kind of
- 6:12Speaker 3: the guy. I don't care what you did in the military.
- 6:14Speaker 3: I don't care if you were Delta Force or Navy
- 6:16Speaker 3: seal or a cook. You raised your right hand, you
- 6:19Speaker 3: took the oath, you volunteered. Good on you. All service
- 6:23Speaker 3: is valorous. Ye, all service is honorable. But to claim
- 6:28Speaker 3: he went into combat, and then to claim he got
- 6:30Speaker 3: out as a mansarm major, and then to try and
- 6:34Speaker 3: obfuscate that, that's the worst part. If he would have
- 6:37Speaker 3: just stepped up and said, look, I'm sorry, you know
- 6:40Speaker 3: got the better of me. I never was in combat,
- 6:43Speaker 3: never retired as a commansar major. But he didn't, and
- 6:48Speaker 3: he dug in. And that's He's the perfect foil for
- 6:53Speaker 3: her because she's she's just a nuts.
- 6:56Speaker 2: But let's go just a step deeper in that, and
- 6:59Speaker 2: then I want to checke Gears and go to the
- 7:01Speaker 2: ATF and our final segment, Lee. There is every reason
- 7:05Speaker 2: to be concerned that Tim Walls is actually a literal
- 7:09Speaker 2: Manchurian candidate.
- 7:12Speaker 3: I agree. How many times has he been to China?
- 7:14Speaker 3: I don't think we know the exact number. I know
- 7:17Speaker 3: many how many times I've been to China zero. We're
- 7:21Speaker 3: talking dozens of times. The guy honeymoon there, he took
- 7:25Speaker 3: his bride to communist China. Plus he taught over there,
- 7:29Speaker 3: or at least he told people here that he was
- 7:32Speaker 3: teaching over there.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Man, But how creepy is it that their wedding anniversary
- 7:39Speaker 2: was intentionally selected to honor the massacre at Tianaman Square,
- 7:45Speaker 2: so he'd never forget it?
- 7:47Speaker 3: Yeah, this guy is beyond scary. The Manchurian candidate angle
- 7:55Speaker 3: is one that should give anybody, I don't care how
- 7:59Speaker 3: liberal you are, that should give you pauks. You should
- 8:02Speaker 3: look at that and know who exactly is he going
- 8:04Speaker 3: to be serving here? What do they have on Was
- 8:07Speaker 3: he paying for all these trips? Was he paying for
- 8:10Speaker 3: the hotels and all the times he went? Was he
- 8:13Speaker 3: paying for his own effort? Or did the Chinese commonists
- 8:15Speaker 3: picked that up?
- 8:18Speaker 2: Twenty one past the hour, Lee Williams thegunriter dot substack
- 8:21Speaker 2: dot com.
- 8:22Speaker 1: That's how you find his work.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Subscribe to the newsletter I get when he writes something,
- 8:26Speaker 2: I get it in my email box.
- 8:28Speaker 1: It is a great read, and we.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Have said it time and again, Lee, the Second Amendment
- 8:34Speaker 2: protects the rest of them Without the Second Amendment, we
- 8:36Speaker 2: are like any other potential third world country out there.
- 8:41Speaker 3: I couldn't agree more. We need it. Second protects, the first, third, fourth, fifth,
- 8:45Speaker 3: you name it. It's why i work for the Second
- 8:48Speaker 3: Amendments Foundation. I'm very proud of that. We're celebrating our
- 8:51Speaker 3: fiftieth year.
- 8:53Speaker 1: People that have a bump stock.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Now, obviously we got a bunch of listeners in Florida
- 8:57Speaker 2: and they're still illegal here, and that's a that's an
- 9:00Speaker 2: another issue we can tie into as well. But the
- 9:02Speaker 2: ATF had to back it back up a little bit
- 9:05Speaker 2: on bump stocks. Tell us about it.
- 9:07Speaker 3: Yeah, you said they got slept. I think they ate
- 9:09Speaker 3: a knuckle sandwich. The Supreme Court basically said ATF was
- 9:16Speaker 3: wrong when they recently determined that bump stocks were machine guns.
- 9:20Speaker 3: Bump Stocks are a plastic aftermarket accessory or appropriate replaces
- 9:24Speaker 3: the stock of your rifle. It's got a spring in
- 9:26Speaker 3: it when the when the rifle fires, it recoils back,
- 9:29Speaker 3: comes forward, hits your finger so it fires quickly. But
- 9:32Speaker 3: every round is fired by a pull, a single pull
- 9:35Speaker 3: of the trigger. It is not a machine gun. Bump
- 9:37Speaker 3: Stocks weren't an issue. They weren't an issue at all,
- 9:40Speaker 3: ATF signed letters saying they were not machine guns. Then,
- 9:44Speaker 3: of course there's that horrible massacre in Las Vegas, fifty
- 9:48Speaker 3: eight people killed, five hundred wounded. What does ATF do
- 9:52Speaker 3: They changed their mind. Now everybody that owns a bump
- 9:54Speaker 3: stock owns a machine gun, which is and you had
- 9:57Speaker 3: to register it or turn it in. So Supreme Court said, yeah, no,
- 10:03Speaker 3: ATF exceeded their authority. So now they got to give
- 10:07Speaker 3: them back. Anybody that turned in a bum stock under protest.
- 10:12Speaker 3: And I'm a member of Florida Carry, which is a
- 10:14Speaker 3: great pro gun nonprofit here in the state. We had
- 10:17Speaker 3: our bumstock that we obtained for educational purposes. We turned
- 10:21Speaker 3: it in under protest and immediately joined a lawsuit Getty's
- 10:25Speaker 3: versus ATF, along with Fire and Policy and a couple
- 10:28Speaker 3: of other planets. So now ATF has to give all
- 10:32Speaker 3: these bum stocks back. Unfortunately, ATF being ATF, they can't
- 10:37Speaker 3: do that, right. They can't just return the property that
- 10:40Speaker 3: is no longer theirs that the Supreme Court said they
- 10:43Speaker 3: seized and took in error. They put this ninety day
- 10:47Speaker 3: burden onto the actual owners of the bumstock. You have
- 10:50Speaker 3: ninety days to make arrangements to get your bump stock back,
- 10:53Speaker 3: and then it'll be sent to the ATF office nearest you,
- 10:56Speaker 3: and you'll be contacted when you can go and get it,
- 10:59Speaker 3: rather than just put the damn thing in the mail.
- 11:00Speaker 3: It's a piece of plastic, it is no longer a
- 11:02Speaker 3: machine gun. Put it in the mail, mail it out.
- 11:05Speaker 3: They can't do that because ATF you know, they can
- 11:08Speaker 3: screw up a cup of coffee. Brother, let me.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Ask you this, do you think they actually have them
- 11:12Speaker 2: or do you think they destroyed them?
- 11:14Speaker 3: I think they got them, you know, ATF is that
- 11:18Speaker 3: would be huge if they didn't. Well know for sure
- 11:21Speaker 3: when Florida Carrie gets ours back. But because they're illegal
- 11:24Speaker 3: in Florida, it will have to be shipped to a
- 11:25Speaker 3: board member's relative in another state where they're legal. But
- 11:30Speaker 3: we we will know whether or not that is the
- 11:32Speaker 3: exact bump stock that we submitted. But yeah, this is
- 11:36Speaker 3: just part of the course. ATF criminalized after market triggers.
- 11:41Speaker 3: You know, they said, oh, these triggers, they turned the
- 11:43Speaker 3: gun into a machine gun. No, no they don't. They're
- 11:47Speaker 3: gonna get slapped on that. They're getting slapped and eaten
- 11:49Speaker 3: a knuckle sandwich on their frame and receiver rule. They're
- 11:52Speaker 3: gonna they're gonna eat it on who is and who
- 11:56Speaker 3: is not a gun dealer. They just make up the rules,
- 12:00Speaker 3: and Congress has said, you know, that's kind of our
- 12:02Speaker 3: job ATF. Congress makes the rules, not the ATA. They
- 12:07Speaker 3: say they're rules. But brother, you violate a certain ATF rule,
- 12:11Speaker 3: like possession of the machine, you can do ten years
- 12:14Speaker 3: in a federal prison. Okay, their rules have massive penalties.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Lee, Let's spin this now to Florida. What needs to
- 12:24Speaker 2: happen or what might be happening, and perhaps you can't
- 12:28Speaker 2: even talk about it. Maybe they're lawmakers behind the scenes
- 12:31Speaker 2: willing to front this to roll back the repeal of
- 12:35Speaker 2: bump stocks in Florida.
- 12:37Speaker 3: It'll happen. It'll happen eventually. I know there's a couple
- 12:41Speaker 3: of lawmakers that want want to clean that up. Quite frankly,
- 12:45Speaker 3: I know right now most of us are concerned about
- 12:48Speaker 3: open caerry in Florida. You have gun owners of America
- 12:51Speaker 3: have filed suit to get that repealed so we can
- 12:55Speaker 3: carry a firearm and not concealed. A lot of people,
- 13:00Speaker 3: well I'll never open carry. Well, you know, the Second
- 13:02Speaker 3: Amendment is not prevocated upon what you or I would
- 13:05Speaker 3: do or how we would carry. If it was everybody
- 13:08Speaker 3: would be carrying a staccato Sea two, my favorite pistol.
- 13:12Speaker 3: But I digress. So we want to get open carry
- 13:15Speaker 3: here because it is a major part of the right
- 13:18Speaker 3: to keep in bare arms. That's the biggest, the biggest
- 13:20Speaker 3: thing right now facing Florida.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not.
- 13:23Speaker 2: It's not unlike almost any other civil right, like, for example,
- 13:27Speaker 2: tree speech. There are a lot of things I'm not
- 13:28Speaker 2: gonna say, but it doesn't mean I can't say them
- 13:31Speaker 2: right exactly.
- 13:32Speaker 3: Great point. Uh, and we're seeing that. You know, once
- 13:36Speaker 3: people understand what open carry is all about, because right
- 13:38Speaker 3: now in Florida you can only carry openly if you're
- 13:40Speaker 3: fishing or camping or hunting.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Or on your way to the gun range, exactly, all
- 13:47Speaker 2: be changed.
- 13:48Speaker 1: All right. Uh.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Do you have hopes that the will go we'll get
- 13:51Speaker 2: the full constitutional carry in the next legislative session.
- 13:55Speaker 3: I do. It depends on the Sheriff's Association, and we
- 13:58Speaker 3: are talking to folks right now. The Florida Shriff's Association
- 14:02Speaker 3: is very powerful and they have come out against this.
- 14:04Speaker 3: I think we'll have good people in charge of the
- 14:06Speaker 3: House in the Senate, who may be a little more
- 14:08Speaker 3: receptive than Kathleen Pasadomolo's because she took her marching orders
- 14:13Speaker 3: from the Florida Shriff's Association. Uh. And we will be
- 14:16Speaker 3: lobbying them and educating them as we should.
- 14:20Speaker 2: May I ask, are you polling the individual sheriffs versus
- 14:23Speaker 2: just their head?
- 14:25Speaker 1: We will be nice.
- 14:26Speaker 2: We will be because I suspect the majority is not
- 14:29Speaker 2: in favor of the position the association is taken.
- 14:33Speaker 3: The association can be very liberal.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Yep.
- 14:36Speaker 3: And this is Florida.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Yep.
- 14:38Speaker 2: I think you're going to find majority of sheriffs are
- 14:40Speaker 2: in favor of open carry.
- 14:41Speaker 1: All right, Lee, you're the man. Thank you brother, anytime.
- 14:45Speaker 3: Take care.
