- 0:01Speaker 1: Now on the Voice of New York Kates the Mark
- 0:04Speaker 1: Simone Show on seven.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Ten or.
- 0:15Speaker 1: It's already too hot. It's gonna be a heat wave
- 0:17Speaker 1: for two days. We're gonna be sweating more than Bill
- 0:20Speaker 1: Gates yesterday testifying of that Epstein Committee. It's is gonna
- 0:23Speaker 1: be very hot. Pull off a little on Saturday and Sunday.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Should be a nice weekend. Rain possible later today tomorrow,
- 0:31Speaker 1: but it's gonna be great. It's gonna be beautiful outside. Lots
- 0:35Speaker 1: of sunshine too over the weekend. Hey, a lot to
- 0:39Speaker 1: get to. We'll get to the Knicks, the amazing ending
- 0:41Speaker 1: of that game, the greatest comeback in the NBA playoff history.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Then we'll get to the Knicks. We'll get to President Trump.
- 0:49Speaker 1: We'll get to SpaceX, we'll get to Platner. We'll get
- 0:52Speaker 1: to Bill Gates. Bad day for him yesterday, although he
- 0:55Speaker 1: handled himself pretty well. We'll get to a Ran, of course,
- 0:58Speaker 1: and a whole lot more Nicks last night, and many
- 1:02Speaker 1: people gave up and went to sleep. Why did that
- 1:03Speaker 1: game run so late? Usually that ends about eleven ten
- 1:07Speaker 1: or so. It went a little later, a little longer.
- 1:10Speaker 1: People have to get up early. Went to sleep and
- 1:13Speaker 1: a lot of people. Yeah, I mean it was it
- 1:18Speaker 1: was bad. I mean the Knicks were getting killed for
- 1:20Speaker 1: most of the game. Just thought it wasn't going to
- 1:22Speaker 1: turn out well and left and you saw some of
- 1:24Speaker 1: the celebrities in the seats were on their phone and
- 1:28Speaker 1: you might say, wow, they really lost interest around that. No,
- 1:30Speaker 1: they were actually texting their drivers when to pick them up,
- 1:32Speaker 1: where to pick them up. But the ending unbelievable. This
- 1:37Speaker 1: come from behind. The Spurs totally dominant the first half,
- 1:42Speaker 1: third quarter, pretty good, but then they kind of decided
- 1:45Speaker 1: to just, you know, just try to melt down the
- 1:49Speaker 1: clock and started to coast a little and the Knicks
- 1:52Speaker 1: came to life, and of course the dramatic endings.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Shut. No, that's gone, that's gone, that's gone. But one
- 2:02Speaker 2: point toobermad Er, let's take the lead.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Oh futs Ontle seven little sex a most unbelievable moment.
- 2:12Speaker 1: That's that's old her but great has come back and
- 2:16Speaker 1: NBA tighof history.
- 2:18Speaker 2: But let's pull off but Loule to come back and.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Lead at three games to London, No one god away
- 2:25Speaker 1: from up titled Now the amazing thing when that happened,
- 2:32Speaker 1: you they shut shot the celebrities, and that you could
- 2:35Speaker 1: see Taylor Swift jumping up and down dancing. They cut
- 2:39Speaker 1: the Seinfeld arms jumping up and down, waving his arms.
- 2:43Speaker 1: They cut to Larry David just standing there frozen, no expression.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Nothing is going to get him to look excited.
- 2:53Speaker 3: That.
- 2:53Speaker 1: If that didn't get him excited, nothing will. But it
- 2:56Speaker 1: was a great, great, great night and quite a victory
- 2:59Speaker 1: there at the end. And so the next game is
- 3:01Speaker 1: Saturday night, San Antonio. That's a better place to win.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Let him win in San Antonio. Maybe maybe less rioting
- 3:08Speaker 1: here as a result. Now, after the game, of course,
- 3:11Speaker 1: there was a lot of crazy fans. They were jumping
- 3:14Speaker 1: up and down, stomping on the hoods of cars and
- 3:18Speaker 1: some mayhem. I think about fifty people were arrested for
- 3:21Speaker 1: some reason. These crazy the ones that were rioting and
- 3:25Speaker 1: causing trouble. Palestinian flags. They're waving Palestinian flags. What the
- 3:30Speaker 1: hell does this have to do with the Knicks. You
- 3:32Speaker 1: maybe have seen that video some influencer Seinfeld is coming
- 3:37Speaker 1: out and he gets right in his path, right in
- 3:39Speaker 1: his face with the microphone, and he said, what about
- 3:41Speaker 1: a free Palestine? What do you think about a free Palestine?
- 3:45Speaker 1: And Seinfeld said it doesn't exist. There is no Palestine,
- 3:48Speaker 1: so and just kept walking. For some reason, they started
- 3:52Speaker 1: a zero in on Seinfeld about Palestine. He's getting hit
- 3:57Speaker 1: with this wherever he goes hit with Israel store. I
- 4:01Speaker 1: don't know why. I mean, well, yeah, he's Jewish, but
- 4:03Speaker 1: so most comedians. But I don't know why for some
- 4:06Speaker 1: reason to keep going after Seinfeld on that, which is
- 4:09Speaker 1: silly because obviously he loves Israel. But he's also a
- 4:11Speaker 1: guy who has never, in fifty years in front of
- 4:15Speaker 1: a camera and a microphone ever had a political thought ever.
- 4:18Speaker 1: So he's certainly not going to have anything there. But
- 4:20Speaker 1: it was an amazing, amazing night for the Knicks. So
- 4:26Speaker 1: tonight we're going to hit Iran. The President actually announcing it,
- 4:28Speaker 1: we will hit Iran tonight. He didn't say it was
- 4:32Speaker 1: definitely tonight, but he said, we'll take carg Island. That
- 4:36Speaker 1: is the big oil facility of Iran. That's where they
- 4:39Speaker 1: store the oil, that's where they export the oil. They've
- 4:42Speaker 1: got oil wells all over the place, but it all
- 4:44Speaker 1: comes to carg Island. Their entire oil industry goes through
- 4:48Speaker 1: Carg Island. If we were to blow that up, that'd
- 4:52Speaker 1: be the end of the oil industry in Iran. It
- 4:55Speaker 1: would take for many, many, many many months, maybe years
- 4:59Speaker 1: to you build it. Their economy, their oil industry would
- 5:02Speaker 1: be crippled until then. But the problem is if we
- 5:06Speaker 1: blow it up, it's gone for a couple of years,
- 5:09Speaker 1: and then that's going to drive the price of oil
- 5:11Speaker 1: up even more. So we don't want to do that.
- 5:12Speaker 1: So that's why he's saying, we'll be very simple to
- 5:15Speaker 1: just destroy Carg Island. But that's why he's saying we'll
- 5:17Speaker 1: take it. Does that mean boots on the ground could
- 5:21Speaker 1: be But there are ways to take Carg Island. We
- 5:24Speaker 1: could just blockade it and take control of it, even
- 5:26Speaker 1: if their boots on the ground. It's okay. We've had
- 5:28Speaker 1: boots on the ground twice now in Iran. Both times
- 5:32Speaker 1: were to rescue the pilot pilots shot down, but a
- 5:37Speaker 1: lot of boots on the ground. We put a lot
- 5:39Speaker 1: of equipment, planes, we built runways, all kinds of stuff
- 5:42Speaker 1: on the ground, and we're able to protect everybody just fine.
- 5:45Speaker 1: But tonight could be a big night attack in Iran.
- 5:49Speaker 1: We hit them.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Hard yesterday and we're going to hit them again hard
- 5:53Speaker 3: today in case you missif cause you don't turn on
- 5:56Speaker 3: your television set, and we'll see what happened with the deal.
- 6:00Speaker 3: We were really close to a deal, but they keep
- 6:03Speaker 3: tapping us along, they keep playing us for suckers.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Yeah, they keep stretching. Time is the only weapon Iran
- 6:08Speaker 1: has right now, and I think was Hexath said we
- 6:12Speaker 1: can negotiate with bombs. We can do it that way too.
- 6:15Speaker 1: But their oil industry is shut right now. They've got
- 6:18Speaker 1: absolutely no revenue. They're probably just a couple of weeks
- 6:21Speaker 1: away from being totally out of cash, not being able
- 6:24Speaker 1: to make payroll. So tonight is a big night. Do
- 6:27Speaker 1: you know we've been taking out now, that's the other
- 6:29Speaker 1: big announcement the President made yesterday. You always hear about
- 6:33Speaker 1: the straight of hormose closed. Well, technically it's closed, but
- 6:38Speaker 1: but we've been We opened a sliver of it to
- 6:41Speaker 1: bring a lot of oil out. We've brought out one
- 6:43Speaker 1: hundred million barrels already. Price of oil is down, it's
- 6:47Speaker 1: eighty nine dollars right now, down from whatever was one
- 6:51Speaker 1: hundred and nine. You notice when it's down twenty five
- 6:53Speaker 1: dollars a barrel, no mention of it on the news.
- 6:56Speaker 1: It's not a story. If it goes up ten dollars
- 6:58Speaker 1: a barrel, it's the lead story on nightly news. If
- 7:01Speaker 1: it drops twenty five dollars a barrel, no mention, They
- 7:04Speaker 1: don't even mention it. So, but we've actually escorted a
- 7:11Speaker 1: lot of ships out. We've actually opened the other side
- 7:14Speaker 1: of the straight of Horn Moose. We've created a path
- 7:16Speaker 1: where two hundred ships have safely traveled through the strait.
- 7:21Speaker 1: We brought out one hundred million barrels already, President Trump
- 7:26Speaker 1: revealing that yesterday.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Do you know we've been taking out millions of barrels
- 7:30Speaker 3: of oil?
- 7:31Speaker 2: Nobody knows that, you know, who.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Doesn't know about it? Iran until right now. We've took
- 7:38Speaker 3: out the other night, twenty two ships late at night
- 7:41Speaker 3: with no lights because they don't have any radar, because
- 7:43Speaker 3: we've blasted the crap out of it. We took out.
- 7:46Speaker 3: That's why oil's eighty five.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Dollars a barrel.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Yeah, we did it late at night, middle of the night,
- 7:51Speaker 1: no lights, they're transponders shut off, escorted by a US military.
- 7:58Speaker 1: A lot of ships, two hundred ships have gotten through
- 8:01Speaker 1: the straight oh Horn Moose. So they estimated it's about
- 8:05Speaker 1: one hundred million barrels of oil came to the market
- 8:09Speaker 1: that way. So the Knicks, we're going to have a
- 8:13Speaker 1: watch party for last night's game, you know, right outside
- 8:17Speaker 1: the garden. And then they had to cancel at the
- 8:19Speaker 1: last minute because the city, who was giving him such
- 8:22Speaker 1: a hard time, they didn't want the watch party outside
- 8:24Speaker 1: the garden. Then the city insisted to be limited to
- 8:27Speaker 1: a thousand people. Then the city insisted it be tickets only.
- 8:31Speaker 1: You have to give out tickets to get in, and
- 8:35Speaker 1: they finally just decided to cancel it. They couldn't deal
- 8:37Speaker 1: with the city. So James Dolan went on sports radio.
- 8:41Speaker 1: He actually called in wand to go in the air.
- 8:43Speaker 1: I mean, it's the best if you'll announced the watch
- 8:45Speaker 1: party's over sports radio, best place to do it. But
- 8:48Speaker 1: he went on there but really took some shots at
- 8:51Speaker 1: the mayor, James Dolan pointing out that his actual words, Mom,
- 8:57Speaker 1: Donnie and Tish are not experienced enough to handle a
- 9:01Speaker 1: major event, not experienced enough to handle the security measures
- 9:05Speaker 1: you need for that. Well, you know he's got a point. Actually, Mom,
- 9:10Speaker 1: Donnie actually has no experience that anything, never had a job,
- 9:15Speaker 1: never worked in any profession. Jessica Tish had been in
- 9:21Speaker 1: the police department for years, but it was really as
- 9:22Speaker 1: an it person. It's just no actual law enforcement experience
- 9:26Speaker 1: before becoming commissioner. Done a good job, but again, yeah,
- 9:29Speaker 1: not a lot of experience.
- 9:31Speaker 3: Now.
- 9:31Speaker 1: I don't know why, but and Dolan upset. They created
- 9:34Speaker 1: this frozen zone that was ridiculous. It was okay when
- 9:37Speaker 1: the President was there, they closed like everything around Madison
- 9:41Speaker 1: Square Garden within like five blocks in any direction frozen zone.
- 9:45Speaker 1: But they did it last night. Nobody understands why. Here's
- 9:47Speaker 1: James Dolan.
- 9:48Speaker 4: You have an easier chance of getting into the area
- 9:51Speaker 4: fifty one today than you do into Madison Square Garden.
- 9:54Speaker 4: You know, it's really the Mayor's office, right. I cannot
- 9:58Speaker 4: explain that the decision on this, but it makes absolutely
- 10:02Speaker 4: no sense at all.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Yeah, it was a really crazy frozen zone for blocks
- 10:06Speaker 1: in every direction.
- 10:07Speaker 4: Even if you come by train or by subway, they're
- 10:10Speaker 4: not letting you up.
- 10:12Speaker 2: They're going to fort They're going to push you outside of.
- 10:15Speaker 4: The of the the forbidden zone and make you come
- 10:18Speaker 4: through magnetometers the.
- 10:22Speaker 2: And you're going to have to show that you have
- 10:24Speaker 2: a reason to.
- 10:24Speaker 4: Be there, right, And this is all really designed around
- 10:29Speaker 4: stopping people from celebrating around Madison Square.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Guard that's what this is. Frozen zone, all right. You
- 10:37Speaker 1: can understand the president's there after three assassination attempts, you
- 10:40Speaker 1: can certainly understand it. But what we were worried about last
- 10:43Speaker 1: night Ben Stiller most people, and they see Ben still,
- 10:47Speaker 1: it's a two snap to go what's his name? You
- 10:50Speaker 1: know he's kind of forgotten about now More James Dolan.
- 10:53Speaker 4: Honestly, the Mayor's office and I'm sorry the Commission or
- 10:57Speaker 4: two write do not have the experience to do this, right.
- 11:01Speaker 3: That's mayor Mom, Donnie and Jessica Tissues, the police comm I.
- 11:04Speaker 4: Mean, they have never managed anything like this before. And
- 11:08Speaker 4: it's like peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It's coming out
- 11:10Speaker 4: the sides.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Good for him, Good for him, somebody need to say it.
- 11:15Speaker 1: They don't have an experience. Who is the guy talking
- 11:17Speaker 1: to that's Craig Carton. It sounded like more Dolan.
- 11:20Speaker 2: They don't want the celebration. The I can't tell you.
- 11:24Speaker 4: Why they don't want to celebration right the I'm not
- 11:28Speaker 4: sure they know why they don't want to celebrate, but
- 11:31Speaker 4: they clearly don't want it.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Well case of Jessica Tish. You know, he's just being
- 11:37Speaker 1: overly cautious. Doesn't want any trouble. Case of mom, Donnie.
- 11:41Speaker 1: I think he doesn't like people celebrating. He doesn't want
- 11:43Speaker 1: to see you happy. You know, he's a socialist. They
- 11:45Speaker 1: like to see it walking around waiting in a breadline, scowling.
- 11:48Speaker 1: The socialists. They don't want to see you happy. They
- 11:50Speaker 1: don't it's not good smiling having fun at real left wingers.
- 11:55Speaker 1: They don't like that at all. Let's here, it's more Dolan.
- 11:58Speaker 4: All I would say to the Mayor and the Commissioner
- 12:00Speaker 4: is right, believe in New Yorkers. Believe New Yorkers can
- 12:05Speaker 4: handle this right. We're the greatest city in the world.
- 12:08Speaker 4: We got we got the greatest citizens and fans in
- 12:10Speaker 4: the world. They are not going to turn this right into.
- 12:14Speaker 1: The well and nice thought, But did you see the
- 12:19Speaker 1: other night stopping on that police car putting one hundredents
- 12:21Speaker 1: in it?
- 12:22Speaker 4: Trust first in your own police departments that they can
- 12:25Speaker 4: handle it right, and then trust the fans themselves.
- 12:28Speaker 2: That they're not maniacs. Right, they're enthusiastic.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Yeah, Hey, we'll get to plat their coming up a
- 12:35Speaker 1: little later. So Bill Gates had to go before the
- 12:39Speaker 1: Epstein Investigating Committee and testify about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
- 12:46Speaker 1: He had quite a relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. He was
- 12:50Speaker 1: very tangled up with Jeffrey Epstein. He spent a lot
- 12:54Speaker 1: of hours and a lot of nights in that townhouse.
- 12:57Speaker 1: And there were a lot of women around, not under age,
- 12:59Speaker 1: they were older women. But what the hell was he
- 13:04Speaker 1: doing there? Obviously it was for women, you know the
- 13:08Speaker 1: reason this happens. Sometimes you can say, well, the guy's
- 13:10Speaker 1: the multi is the richest, most famous guy on earth.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Can't he get all the women he wants? It doesn't
- 13:15Speaker 1: quite work that way. I probably could, but he doesn't
- 13:18Speaker 1: know how to do it. He's not built for that.
- 13:19Speaker 1: He's not set up for that. He's got a huge
- 13:22Speaker 1: staff of people that know how to get all kinds
- 13:24Speaker 1: of things done that they don't know how to get done.
- 13:27Speaker 1: And that's what a lot of these fixtures do. It's
- 13:29Speaker 1: not millions of Epstein's not bad, and most of them
- 13:33Speaker 1: are quite legitimate people, these fixers, But that's why billionaires
- 13:37Speaker 1: latch onto them. They'll take care of stuff for you
- 13:39Speaker 1: that you don't want to have to do. Yourself. You know,
- 13:41Speaker 1: let's say you want to get your kid into Harvard.
- 13:45Speaker 1: You don't want to be seen making these calls. So
- 13:47Speaker 1: the guy, I'll do it for you, whatever you need.
- 13:50Speaker 1: And when it comes to women, these fixtures always have
- 13:53Speaker 1: a ton of women. If you, Bill Gates and I
- 13:56Speaker 1: got to go around picking up women. But this guy
- 13:58Speaker 1: has plenty, and you're going into his house. And so
- 14:00Speaker 1: that's what it's all about. Now, Bill Gates walking into
- 14:04Speaker 1: the hearings. He's got to testify under oath for hours
- 14:07Speaker 1: about Epstein. Listen to him coming in.
- 14:09Speaker 5: Glad to be here voluntarily.
- 14:11Speaker 1: To glad to be here. I think out of if
- 14:14Speaker 1: you named every possible thing on earth you could do,
- 14:17Speaker 1: this would be like ten millionth on the list. Glad
- 14:20Speaker 1: to be.
- 14:20Speaker 5: Here, Glad to be here voluntarily to testify, to help
- 14:24Speaker 5: with the committee's work. I'll start with an opening statement
- 14:28Speaker 5: in the hearing room. I hope my testimony is helpful
- 14:32Speaker 5: to the important work of the committee to find justice
- 14:36Speaker 5: for the victims.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Yeah. So he basically said that Epstein was blackmailing. At
- 14:41Speaker 1: some point, he said he wouldn't admit to any affairs
- 14:44Speaker 1: in the Epstein house, but he said Epstein knew of
- 14:48Speaker 1: some affairs, well house, would you know, and that he
- 14:50Speaker 1: kept holding that over him. He said, that's I don't
- 14:53Speaker 1: know if he's blackmail. He said, that's the reason he
- 14:55Speaker 1: kept going back, because the question is why did you
- 14:59Speaker 1: keep coming back? They're over and oh you kept coming
- 15:01Speaker 1: back all the time. So the blackmail explanation, I guess
- 15:05Speaker 1: is for that. The original explanation as to why he
- 15:07Speaker 1: went was to he needed money. He was trying to
- 15:09Speaker 1: raise money for his charity. Very important that he get
- 15:12Speaker 1: money for his charity. This explanation doesn't make any sense
- 15:16Speaker 1: at all. Gates is worth one hundred billion dollars, Epstein's
- 15:21Speaker 1: worth a hundred million. It should be the other way around,
- 15:24Speaker 1: should be Epstein going to gateshouse begging for money. You
- 15:28Speaker 1: got one hundred million, one hundred billion. He's got over
- 15:32Speaker 1: a well over one hundred billion. All the money needs
- 15:36Speaker 1: for so And I've been in I'm on the board
- 15:39Speaker 1: of a lot of charities. I've been to these meetings
- 15:41Speaker 1: where you go see the billionaire and to get money
- 15:44Speaker 1: for a charity. I've never seen one of these meetings
- 15:46Speaker 1: take more than a half hour. Maybe maybe if it's
- 15:50Speaker 1: going well, or you start talking to it. Maybe it
- 15:52Speaker 1: could go forty five minutes, it's not seven hours, and
- 15:55Speaker 1: you leave at midnight. There's no philanthropy meeting that goes
- 16:00Speaker 1: seven hours and you're leaving the house at midnight. And
- 16:02Speaker 1: Gates was doing that a lot. So everything he's saying
- 16:05Speaker 1: does not pass the smell test or the left test.
- 16:08Speaker 1: But we'll get back to Bill Gates and we'll take
- 16:11Speaker 1: some calls next. Eight hundred three two one zero seven
- 16:15Speaker 1: ten is the number. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 16:19Speaker 1: seven ten,
