- 0:00Speaker 1: Weekdays, 3 to 7 p.m. The Flash Drive with Carl
- 0:05Speaker 1: Wastey on KFM 94.5.
- 0:08Speaker 2: That's what it is. Welcome to your show, The Flash Drive,
- 0:10Speaker 2: KFM 94.5 on this gorgeous Heritage Day. A massive thank
- 0:13Speaker 2: you to our chummy Stan Mars holding it down for
- 0:16Speaker 2: your lunch session. What an amazing man he is. I
- 0:19Speaker 2: love Stan so much. You love Stan.
- 0:22Speaker 3: I kind of just want to hang out.
- 0:24Speaker 2: He's a treat, man. He's just a treat. That's what
- 0:27Speaker 2: he is, but... Now that we're here, Heritage Day, a
- 0:31Speaker 2: day to come together. Yo, can I tell you, now
- 0:34Speaker 2: this morning I got up like early just to make
- 0:37Speaker 2: sure that my son gets to his football match, right?
- 0:40Speaker 2: And I'm telling you, at the crack of dawn, I
- 0:45Speaker 2: smelt fire. And I was like, yo, that's just, it
- 0:50Speaker 2: made me feel so comfortable. And yes, I know. Geographically,
- 0:53Speaker 2: it makes sense. I'll smell fire at that time of
- 0:55Speaker 2: the day. Anyway, I live in Paro. I mean, we
- 0:57Speaker 2: bribe for everything. We bribe dessert there. It doesn't matter. Okay.
- 1:02Speaker 2: But it was such a beautiful feeling. And then, of course,
- 1:04Speaker 2: coming to work and having a little meeting prior to
- 1:06Speaker 2: the show, seeing everybody rejoicing and having DJs in their
- 1:09Speaker 2: backyards and brides in their backyards. It just felt very good.
- 1:12Speaker 2: We are unified. We are connected. We are together. We
- 1:14Speaker 2: are the flash drive today. Expect a lot of music
- 1:17Speaker 2: today because I want to be the soundtrack to whatever
- 1:19Speaker 2: the braai situation is on your side. But then we
- 1:21Speaker 2: also got to do the normal things. When I say normal,
- 1:23Speaker 2: I mean cashbacks coming your way. I'm saying I'm still
- 1:26Speaker 2: going to give you the concept because that prize is
- 1:29Speaker 2: designed for a heritage day because I'm giving away dry firewood.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Think about that for a second. That is, it's gold.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Go to any spot right now and you'll say, ah,
- 1:39Speaker 2: I'm looking for dry firewood. They will guarantee the firewood
- 1:42Speaker 2: is dry. And then what do you do as soon
- 1:44Speaker 2: as that stuff gets hit in the braai? All you
- 1:45Speaker 2: do is... It's wet. This company guarantees you some nice
- 1:51Speaker 2: dry firewood. I'll chat about them later. But welcome. Hope
- 1:55Speaker 2: you've had a wonderful relaxing day. Did you do anything
- 1:57Speaker 2: nice today or you like hard chilling?
- 1:59Speaker 4: I was hard chilling. I went to Pilates this morning.
- 2:03Speaker 4: I went and I visited the doggos and my mom
- 2:06Speaker 4: had a nice little coffee. And then, and then, maybe
- 2:09Speaker 4: I shouldn't be telling you this. I came into work
- 2:11Speaker 4: so nice and early. And then I decided to take
- 2:14Speaker 4: a quick power nap.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Where did you sleep?
- 2:17Speaker 5: In my car.
- 2:19Speaker 2: In my parking. Okay, that's a rookie move. Did you know,
- 2:21Speaker 2: did you know the best sleep you're going to get
- 2:24Speaker 2: in this building?
- 2:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:25Speaker 2: There's a couch.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Oh, I know the couch.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Not that couch. There's a couch in... Our big boss's office.
- 2:34Speaker 5: Okay. Say less.
- 2:36Speaker 2: And if you know, our big boss has the almost
- 2:39Speaker 2: like 270 degree view of the city. That is the
- 2:42Speaker 2: place you nap. Yeah.
- 2:43Speaker 4: No, I needed a little nap because as you said,
- 2:46Speaker 4: you wake up at the crack of dawn, you smell fire,
- 2:48Speaker 4: you hear, you know, beers opening, you hear music. And
- 2:51Speaker 4: I was like, oh, you know, I love the chaos,
- 2:53Speaker 4: but also I needed to sleep in then.
- 2:56Speaker 3: So I had a little bit of a nap.
- 2:57Speaker 2: We have to.
- 2:58Speaker 3: Yeah. That was my day.
- 3:00Speaker 2: What a beautiful day it is. Honestly, I'm so happy
- 3:03Speaker 2: to have you. Can we just have a lovely, chill
- 3:05Speaker 2: time today? Yes, we're going to do all the stuff
- 3:06Speaker 2: you love. Flashwood coming up as well. We've got Vanillas
- 3:09Speaker 2: for a heritage day. And what Ashley has done, our
- 3:12Speaker 2: music manager, he's thrown in a lot of local music,
- 3:16Speaker 2: which I'm loving. All of the favorites, some of these
- 3:19Speaker 2: iconic tracks, the cult classics of South Africa, all have
- 3:22Speaker 2: been thrown in. We're going to play them all out
- 3:24Speaker 2: for you. But I think it's very important to start
- 3:26Speaker 2: a show in the most important way on this gorgeous
- 3:29Speaker 2: heritage day. in a way that is designed to remind
- 3:33Speaker 2: you where you are, who you are, and why we
- 3:37Speaker 2: work so hard for this beautiful freedom and why we
- 3:41Speaker 2: love to share it. I want to open things up
- 3:44Speaker 2: with this. Welcome to your flash drive. It's Rihanna. Don't
- 3:51Speaker 2: stop the music. I know I just did the irony,
- 3:53Speaker 2: but I mean, I'm going to play some more music
- 3:54Speaker 2: for you. Don't worry about it. I got you covered.
- 3:56Speaker 2: This is your show. It is your flash drive. It
- 3:59Speaker 2: is your KFM 94.5 and a day to rejoice in
- 4:03Speaker 2: our heritage. And when I say that also to ensure
- 4:06Speaker 2: that possibly part of our heritage is the fact that
- 4:09Speaker 2: we educate and inspire and empower people to use their
- 4:12Speaker 2: freedom responsibly. And that includes making sure that we Leave
- 4:17Speaker 2: space and hold space for all those around us. Like
- 4:21Speaker 2: Cassidy Jade Nicholson. I always do that for her.
- 4:23Speaker 3: I was going to say, that's so beautiful.
- 4:25Speaker 2: She took a nap earlier and I've held space for
- 4:28Speaker 2: you to wake up a little bit. No, but can
- 4:30Speaker 2: I tell you, on a day like this, I am
- 4:33Speaker 2: so happy for you.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Because I got, after the football match, I got home
- 4:38Speaker 2: so late, I had to go straight to work. I
- 4:40Speaker 2: would have loved. Just a power.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Just a little 20 minutes. Just a little speed charge.
- 4:45Speaker 2: It would be so cool. I would have liked to
- 4:47Speaker 2: do that. Or I would have liked to get the
- 4:49Speaker 2: fire started. Because now I've left the fire to be started.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Because I am going to bribe today.
- 4:54Speaker 3: Oh, as you should.
- 4:55Speaker 2: I'm going to bribe today. I would judge you. I
- 4:57Speaker 2: have to bribe today. But the fire will now be
- 5:00Speaker 2: started by a 16-year-old. So I want to see how
- 5:02Speaker 2: this rolls. Ooh, you know what that's going to entail.
- 5:04Speaker 2: I want to see the caliber. I want to see
- 5:06Speaker 2: what the usage of the wood. Is he going to
- 5:09Speaker 2: do Camille Dwering? Is he going to do blue gum?
- 5:12Speaker 3: It's not that I don't have any faith in him.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 5:15Speaker 4: I just know that if you have any classifieds in
- 5:17Speaker 4: your house, they will all be gone. Because one thing
- 5:21Speaker 4: about a 16-year-old, they'll.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Start the fire the way you tell them to start it.
- 5:26Speaker 3: But to keep it going, where's the newspaper? Do we
- 5:29Speaker 3: have newspaper? Do we have paper? Oh, these documents look fine.
- 5:32Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:33Speaker 3: Any paper you have in your house is going to
- 5:35Speaker 3: be gone by the time you get there.
- 5:37Speaker 2: I have eco fire lighters. Listen to me. Eco. That's right.
- 5:42Speaker 2: So I've got those already. I've got those in the bag.
- 5:44Speaker 2: So it's going to be fine. Also, Pietras in my
- 5:46Speaker 2: ear asked me if I have building insurance. Of course
- 5:48Speaker 2: I do. I'm 40 years old. All right. I got
- 5:51Speaker 2: insurance on this body and on my house. Yes, you should.
- 5:55Speaker 2: That's what we're doing. Great. So wish me luck. I'll
- 5:58Speaker 2: let you know how it goes. I'll see if the
- 6:00Speaker 2: flames are going. No, but I mean, chances are there
- 6:02Speaker 2: might be like a TikTok of like, fire like fire
- 6:06Speaker 2: maxing get ready with me primaxing get ready with me
- 6:08Speaker 2: yeah get ready with me as i start okay so
- 6:12Speaker 2: what i got i got this piece over here it's
- 6:14Speaker 2: gonna it's gonna smell like wood soon.
- 6:16Speaker 5: But it's fine you know so let's see what happens
- 6:18Speaker 5: later now i'm very excited to see what's gonna happen
- 6:21Speaker 5: but yeah i hope that you already have the fire
- 6:23Speaker 5: started in fact it's it's just past three if you
- 6:26Speaker 5: don't have the meat on by now you're okay.
- 6:30Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the exact right reaction.
- 6:32Speaker 2: You do you, boo. It's fine. We'll eat Doritos. We'll wait.
- 6:36Speaker 2: It's okay.
- 6:37Speaker 4: We'll eat every snack in your house until 9pm tonight.
- 6:40Speaker 2: We'll grab as many of those things as possible. Trust me.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Sometimes the snacks get so droog, right? That you're starting
- 6:46Speaker 2: to like... Because it's amazing how the dips always last
- 6:49Speaker 2: longer than the actual chips and crackers, right? It's going
- 6:52Speaker 2: to be so desperate. Because you're so late with the braai.
- 6:55Speaker 2: We're going to start dipping spookies into the dip. No.
- 6:59Speaker 2: And then they're going to disappear in the dip as well.
- 7:01Speaker 3: I'm going to start putting slanger cheese there in the dip.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Yes, why not? Make like a little melange. Slanger cheese
- 7:08Speaker 2: and sour cream dip melange.
- 7:13Speaker 5: Shame.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Don't eat the people hungry, man. Please. At least do
- 7:15Speaker 2: a garlic roll like on the side there. Just so
- 7:18Speaker 2: that people can have something to happen. Yeah, it's okay.
- 7:20Speaker 4: We won't judge you that you're putting it in the oven.
- 7:22Speaker 3: People just need something to eat.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Yeah, if you're going to put it in the oven
- 7:25Speaker 2: or air fryer, at least they're eating, man.
- 7:27Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Just give them something now. I know, you feel guilty now.
- 7:30Speaker 2: I didn't mean to make you feel guilty. And I
- 7:32Speaker 2: know you thought it was this African way. But people
- 7:34Speaker 2: are hungry. They came to your house. Go for it. Okay?
- 7:35Speaker 2: Give them something to eat.
- 7:37Speaker 3: Your fault for starting the fire now.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Yeah. No, no, no. They didn't start the fire now.
- 7:42Speaker 2: They just put on three pieces of kamildoering. Oh, gosh.
- 7:45Speaker 2: The stuff will still catch and become cold. It's going
- 7:49Speaker 2: to be 5.20 when we have this conversation again. Come
- 7:52Speaker 2: on now. People are hungry, man. All right. Who's that?
- 7:55Speaker 2: Is that someone in your kitchen making two-minute noodles? Come on. Hey. Anyway,
- 8:00Speaker 2: I'm going to distract you and ask you to think
- 8:03Speaker 2: about Clix Beauty. Rate the counter. 60 seconds. Mention all
- 8:06Speaker 2: the products you'll grab and throw into your basket and
- 8:08Speaker 2: win two and a half thousand rand. That is with Clix.
- 8:11Speaker 1: 0829450940.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Clix is the keyword, name, ID number. You know the rest.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Clix feel good. Pay less.
- 8:15Speaker 5: Pay less.
- 8:18Speaker 2: I'm not sure if we have any. Early B, Lekha J.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Heritage Day. That's what a nice day to say, Lekha J. Definitely. Hello.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Welcome to the Flash Drive KFM 94.5. We were offered
- 8:33Speaker 2: a day off today, but we thought, you know what,
- 8:35Speaker 2: we're coming into work. And when I say we, I'm
- 8:37Speaker 2: talking about all of us. Jodie is here. Producer P
- 8:42Speaker 2: is here. You know what? You were here.
- 8:46Speaker 3: You know what? You are here too, I guess.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Yeah, we're all here. And that's why it's important. We
- 8:51Speaker 2: are here and we're here for you, which is we
- 8:54Speaker 2: love being here for you.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:56Speaker 2: It's our favorite time of the day. And on Heritage Day,
- 8:59Speaker 2: I think that this moment right here is part of
- 9:01Speaker 2: our heritage. I just thought I'd let you know that. Anyway,
- 9:04Speaker 2: Clix is offering you a chance to win. And I
- 9:06Speaker 2: don't want you to miss out on that. So if
- 9:07Speaker 2: you can handle 60 seconds, I'm sure you'll be fine.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 9:13Speaker 3: All right.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Hello.
- 9:14Speaker 3: Is it you? It is you.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Hi.
- 9:16Speaker 3: Shannon, are you?
- 9:17Speaker 2: Hi.
- 9:42Speaker 6: Phenoms, yo.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Phenoms, okay? Phenoms. Yes, that's it. We're feeling very heritaginous today,
- 9:54Speaker 2: which is important, okay? It's a word I made up
- 9:57Speaker 2: for the day. You're most welcome. You have 60 seconds.
- 10:02Speaker 2: But you can do it in 30 seconds and we
- 10:04Speaker 2: can just make it up as we go along. But
- 10:05Speaker 2: I'm in 60 seconds to raid the Clix Beauty counter.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Are you ready? I am ready. Are you sure you're ready?
- 10:12Speaker 6: I think so. I was born ready. Really?
- 10:14Speaker 2: Okay. Here we go.
- 10:16Speaker 6: Well, I wouldn't have been born if I wasn't ready
- 10:19Speaker 6: to be born.
- 10:19Speaker 2: I mean, that wasn't really up to you, was it? Yeah. Okay,
- 10:27Speaker 2: let's go. Let's go. 60 seconds. Rate the counter.
- 10:30Speaker 5: Go.
- 10:32Speaker 6: Okay, so it's everything beeswax. All the beeswax products. Also, Garnier.
- 10:36Speaker 6: All Garnier under the eyes. It's fantastic, especially this kind
- 10:40Speaker 6: of season. Mascara. Obviously, we're going for the.
- 10:45Speaker 6: What's the essence? The big whip one. We're going for
- 10:49Speaker 6: some bronzer. It is season and I don't have a
- 10:51Speaker 6: tan yet, so we definitely need that.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Good idea.
- 10:54Speaker 6: And a little bit of highlighter. And Cassidy's eyebrows are
- 10:57Speaker 6: always sleek, so I have to make my way to
- 10:59Speaker 6: the eyebrow section.
- 11:00Speaker 2: You need to.
- 11:01Speaker 6: Just so I can give my fleek, some of her
- 11:04Speaker 6: fleek to my fleek.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Perfect.
- 11:07Speaker 6: And I'll definitely do, you get these silver packs that
- 11:10Speaker 6: you put under your eyes that help the I'm getting
- 11:13Speaker 6: to that age now where I'm wearing my mid-30s, so
- 11:17Speaker 6: you need to flash on that. And I think my
- 11:20Speaker 6: 60 seconds are over.
- 11:21Speaker 2: No, they're not. Say something else. Quickly, say something. Say something,
- 11:28Speaker 2: I'm giving up on you. Am I worried?
- 11:31Speaker 6: No, definitely grab some of that.
- 11:33Speaker 2: You're done now. No, you're done. It's fine. It's over. Yep,
- 11:36Speaker 2: finished now. Cops are here. It's done. Well done. That
- 11:43Speaker 2: was incredible. And for all of that effort, and there
- 11:45Speaker 2: was effort in there. Congratulations.
- 11:47Speaker 3: Two and a half.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Thousand cashback is all yours, Shannon. You enjoy, and a
- 11:52Speaker 2: blessed balance of your Heritage Day to you. Are you braying?
- 11:55Speaker 6: To be honest, we haven't put a fire on yet,
- 11:59Speaker 6: but she did make me feel bad, so I took
- 12:01Speaker 6: out some brew, so I'm going to make some brewery rolls.
- 12:04Speaker 2: When you say took out, are they still frozen now?
- 12:07Speaker 6: I've put it in cold water.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Okay. You know what to do.
- 12:10Speaker 5: All right.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Enjoy. Have a beautiful one. Enjoy your cash back. And remember,
- 12:15Speaker 2: you were looking at all those lovely products, including a
- 12:17Speaker 2: new product that's just come to South Africa. And I

- 12:53Speaker 2: these Mzansi staples. You need to just listen up and
- 12:57Speaker 2: respect and enjoy the vocals from the locals all day
- 13:00Speaker 2: today on your flash drive. Now, while you're working, because
- 13:03Speaker 2: I know you weren't, but I was still working for you.
- 13:05Speaker 2: It doesn't matter. I found a couple of cool things
- 13:08Speaker 2: that I want to share with you. And I think
- 13:09Speaker 2: these are just, they very feel good. You know, the
- 13:12Speaker 2: things that I have to share today, very, very nice,
- 13:15Speaker 2: in fact. How about a few lesser known facts about
- 13:18Speaker 2: Heritage Day in South Africa? Cassidy, welcome to class. You
- 13:21Speaker 2: ready for your... Your little assessment.
- 13:24Speaker 3: Let's go.
- 13:24Speaker 2: All right. Heritage Day was not always called Heritage Day.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Before 1995, 24 September was associated with Shaka Zulu Day,
- 13:32Speaker 2: particularly in KwaZulu-Natal, commemorating King Shaka Zulu. Okay, that's cool.
- 13:37Speaker 2: The name change caused some controversy when the new democratic
- 13:40Speaker 2: government introduced the public holiday. The Inkata Freedom Party initially
- 13:44Speaker 2: objected because Shaka Day had particular significance for the Zulu
- 13:47Speaker 2: community and not the broader South African community. Shaka Day
- 13:50Speaker 2: eventually became Heritage Day. A compromise was reached. 24 September
- 13:53Speaker 2: became a national public holiday. That was back in 1995.
- 13:56Speaker 2: The first Heritage Day was celebrated that year. Now, the
- 13:59Speaker 2: Braai connection. Heritage Day was not... originally created as National
- 14:04Speaker 2: Bride Day. The idea of using the Bride as something
- 14:06Speaker 2: that brings South Africans together grew over time. And there
- 14:09Speaker 2: was a certain gentleman who thrusted it forward. His name
- 14:12Speaker 2: is Jan Bride. And I remember he was really pivotal
- 14:15Speaker 2: in ensuring that Brides and Heritage Day were connected. National
- 14:19Speaker 2: Bride Day was launched separately. 2005, Archbishop Desmond Tutu became
- 14:23Speaker 2: involved in a campaign encouraging South Africans to celebrate their
- 14:26Speaker 2: shared heritage around a Bride because I feel like fire,
- 14:30Speaker 2: no matter what, culture, religion, or whatever you're a part of,
- 14:34Speaker 2: the fire became a symbol of togetherness. It became a
- 14:38Speaker 2: symbol for every community back in the day to get
- 14:41Speaker 2: around a fire and have this almost enchanted, like I'm
- 14:46Speaker 2: going to say, we kind of entranced by it. And
- 14:49Speaker 2: then we ask random questions around the fire. And I
- 14:51Speaker 2: think that happens in all religions and creeds and races.
- 14:55Speaker 2: It doesn't matter. When we're in front of a fire,
- 14:57Speaker 2: have you noticed that? We just, we pause.
- 14:59Speaker 3: I think it's deeply primal as well.
- 15:01Speaker 2: That's it.
- 15:02Speaker 3: I don't know what it is.
- 15:03Speaker 4: I remember I was in a camp a few years
- 15:05Speaker 4: ago and we were all sitting around the fire and
- 15:07Speaker 4: we were like, I don't know what it is. But
- 15:09Speaker 4: like whenever you come, you want to get a little
- 15:11Speaker 4: bit like solemn. You want to slow down, get a
- 15:13Speaker 4: little bit stoic. You want to, you know, share stories.
- 15:16Speaker 4: It's that storytelling, sing song, you know, want to dance
- 15:20Speaker 4: around the fire. There's something, as I said, very primal
- 15:24Speaker 4: about being able to just sit.
- 15:27Speaker 2: And watch those flames, man. And then we tend to
- 15:30Speaker 2: ask strange questions around the fire. You understand? Yeah.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:36Speaker 2: What if I don't cut my toenails for like a week?
- 15:38Speaker 5: It's okay.
- 15:38Speaker 3: Let them break off when they're ready.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Oh. Yeah.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Okay.
- 15:43Speaker 2: How's your mom?
- 15:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, she's okay. How's your dad?
- 15:48Speaker 2: He's all right. Lots of floods in Philippines.
- 15:50Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 15:51Speaker 2: Yeah. You know, he's handling that. He was sick recently,
- 15:53Speaker 2: but he's fine.
- 15:54Speaker 5: Okay.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Yeah. How's this weather?
- 15:58Speaker 3: I mean, it's okay.
- 15:59Speaker 2: That's what a fire does. Have you noticed what a
- 16:02Speaker 2: fire does? Like there's this trance that we get into
- 16:04Speaker 2: and we ask nonsense questions, but we're connecting nonetheless, which
- 16:08Speaker 2: is very important. So National Briar Day was born. The
- 16:12Speaker 2: Springboks helped make the briar connection even stronger. The National
- 16:14Speaker 2: Briar Day. initiative and the spring box became closely associated
- 16:17Speaker 2: with the idea of south africans coming together on a
- 16:19Speaker 2: fire food and sport heritage day is about far more
- 16:23Speaker 2: than culture and food the holiday is intended to recognize
- 16:25Speaker 2: south africa's diverse cultural heritage including its languages traditions history
- 16:33Speaker 2: music food art customs invite people in to your customs
- 16:40Speaker 2: doesn't matter where you from but give someone something that
- 16:43Speaker 2: you're connected with and to say hey Like, this is
- 16:46Speaker 2: what I grew up with. I want you to taste this.
- 16:48Speaker 2: I want you to do this. I want you to
- 16:49Speaker 2: try this. That's what it's about, I believe. And I
- 16:52Speaker 2: think that the more heritage days that go past, the
- 16:55Speaker 2: more times that you need to be active in cultural
- 16:59Speaker 2: diversity and actually say, like, I would like to try
- 17:02Speaker 2: a cuisine I've never tried before. I want to sample
- 17:05Speaker 2: a language. I want to know what Diagutanda means in Xhosa.
- 17:08Speaker 2: I want to do that, right? And you know what
- 17:09Speaker 2: that means, of course. Told you many times, right? Which is? Hey,
- 17:14Speaker 2: how's it?
- 17:14Speaker 5: How are you doing?
- 17:15Speaker 2: This is what I mean. Yeah. It means I love you. Oh.
- 17:19Speaker 2: So here we go. And I think it's important that
- 17:22Speaker 2: we really just steep ourselves in all of the cultures
- 17:26Speaker 2: of South Africa. So important. So the phrase Rainbow Nation
- 17:31Speaker 2: is also often associated with Heritage Day celebrations, but it
- 17:34Speaker 2: wasn't originally created as the name of the holiday. It
- 17:36Speaker 2: became a powerful shorthand for South Africa's cultural diversity. After
- 17:41Speaker 2: 1994 So those are some of the things about the
- 17:42Speaker 2: day And I think it's important because If you look
- 17:45Speaker 2: at our history We faced so many moments where we
- 17:48Speaker 2: were looking for ways to part There were certain people
- 17:53Speaker 2: in the government who were trying to separate us, take
- 17:57Speaker 2: away opportunities from one and giving it to another. We
- 18:00Speaker 2: faced a lot of that and there's a lot of
- 18:02Speaker 2: scornful feeling around that. But Heritage Day, I think what
- 18:05Speaker 2: it means is for us to say we are so different,
- 18:10Speaker 2: but that is why we have so much to share.
- 18:12Speaker 2: And that is what Heritage Day should be about. It's
- 18:15Speaker 2: about sharing. It is about making sure that our collective
- 18:19Speaker 2: freedom is in the way we can join together, find
- 18:22Speaker 2: bridges between each other. And find the beauty in our differences.
- 18:26Speaker 2: That is what this day is all about. So thank
- 18:29Speaker 2: you very much for coming to my Heritage Day talk.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Of course. Appreciate it. I love being here. No, no,
- 18:34Speaker 2: thank you. It's important for you to know that because
- 18:38Speaker 2: I have strong feelings about when someone just kind of
- 18:42Speaker 2: passes by and says like, free day, liquor, braai. I
- 18:46Speaker 2: get you, but there's something more to it. I feel
- 18:48Speaker 2: like there's more active cultural citizenship that should come with
- 18:52Speaker 2: Heritage Day. Totally. And I think it becomes even more
- 18:56Speaker 2: important for us to be open to it and invite
- 19:00Speaker 2: and go and take on and invite RSVP and go.
- 19:02Speaker 3: That's important.
- 19:03Speaker 4: So much so, I went to a coffee shop this
- 19:06Speaker 4: morning after I went to Pilates and we were chatting
- 19:09Speaker 4: about Heritage Day and I said, oh, please tell me
- 19:12Speaker 4: something cool has happened. Like, did someone come in here blaring, like,
- 19:15Speaker 4: Nkalakatsa or something? And then they were like, actually, look
- 19:18Speaker 4: at this. And it was someone who came into the
- 19:19Speaker 4: coffee shop in, like, their full garb, which was really,
- 19:22Speaker 4: really cool.
- 19:23Speaker 3: It was like, and then he showed me the photos.
- 19:25Speaker 4: And I said, you know, now that we're getting into
- 19:27Speaker 4: this conversation, I said, I know that, like, this establishment
- 19:30Speaker 4: usually plays easy coffee music. But, like, why not put
- 19:33Speaker 4: on a proudly South African Heritage Day playlist?
- 19:36Speaker 3: And they were like, you know what? Actually, let's do that.
- 19:40Speaker 4: So I was a little bit stoked because I was
- 19:43Speaker 4: just like, hey, I did that.
- 19:44Speaker 3: Well, I didn't do that.
- 19:45Speaker 4: But, you know, I started that conversation. And now everyone
- 19:48Speaker 4: that walks into that coffee store... today coffee shop today
- 19:51Speaker 4: is going to smile on their face because they're going
- 19:53Speaker 4: to remember that they are a part of something bigger
- 19:55Speaker 4: than themselves and.
- 19:56Speaker 2: By the way us South Africans we do coffee jams
- 19:58Speaker 2: by the way we do I know it's not just
- 20:00Speaker 2: the generic stuff I'm telling you now we also have
- 20:03Speaker 2: our own jams like just we do these you know
- 20:06Speaker 2: we have this power with regard to our music Coffee.
- 20:12Speaker 2: You want a matcha?
- 20:13Speaker 4: I don't.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Cappuccino.
- 20:15Speaker 3: A cappuccino, but with oat milk, please.
- 20:17Speaker 2: This is Kyle Watson.
- 20:18Speaker 3: I know.
- 20:25Speaker 2: All the boxes are ticked here. All right. That's what
- 20:32Speaker 2: we're talking about. Thank you very much. This is wonderful.
- 20:35Speaker 2: I know you may be stuck on the road somewhere.
- 20:37Speaker 2: You should be brying, but you had to go and
- 20:39Speaker 2: get ice. I get it. So here are the things

- 22:39Speaker 2: C's apply. You know that when we heard a story
- 22:43Speaker 2: at the beginning of the year of Australia having a
- 22:47Speaker 2: sound archive, we as a show decided to take it
- 22:50Speaker 2: upon ourselves to create our very own South African sound archive. Now,
- 22:56Speaker 2: you may be wondering, what is it? A sound archive
- 22:58Speaker 2: effectively is something that is in the public. So it
- 23:01Speaker 2: could be the TV shows, the ads we've seen, the
- 23:06Speaker 2: political moments, the when people's all, you understand. Those are
- 23:10Speaker 2: all parts of these things that have an audio connection
- 23:13Speaker 2: to the heritage of South Africa. And I know this
- 23:17Speaker 2: is something that you love hearing because, you know, we
- 23:19Speaker 2: start building and we upgrade this as often as we can.
- 23:23Speaker 2: And we've done just that. We have a South African
- 23:26Speaker 2: sound archive. And I couldn't think of a better day
- 23:29Speaker 2: to play this out to you. I will have you
- 23:32Speaker 2: know that if you have anything, now listen to this carefully,
- 23:35Speaker 2: if you have anything you believe that should be added
- 23:37Speaker 2: to the South African Sound Archive, that's why we keep
- 23:40Speaker 2: this open. It's literally an open archive. Yes, it is
- 23:43Speaker 2: housed on the flash drive on KFM 94.5, but we
- 23:47Speaker 2: want you to be a participant today. in this history creation,
- 23:50Speaker 2: this archive creation. And that is why on Heritage Day,
- 23:54Speaker 2: you get to hear a whole lot of you. Be proud,
- 23:57Speaker 2: be South African, and listen to Your Sound Archive. Sister Bettina!
- 24:04Speaker 2: All right, all right.
- 24:06Speaker 6: And he's not back!
- 24:08Speaker 2: And he's not back! And he's not from our refrigerator!
- 24:11Speaker 2: It's not inside, it's on top! It's not inside, it's
- 24:14Speaker 2: on top!
- 24:37Speaker 4: Don't come here with your food, food nonsense, man.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Food!
- 24:48Speaker 1: That's B-I-Z-A-R-R-E. Come to Bathroom Bazaar.
- 24:53Speaker 3: SMS tone to 31314 now.

- 25:01Speaker 3: I love it when you talk about it.
- 25:07Speaker 2: Anybody would allow it to make it.
- 25:13Speaker 3: Touch me on my studio.
- 25:14Speaker 2: I'll touch you on your studio. You don't do that.
- 25:16Speaker 2: My name is Martin. I stay in the old main road.
- 25:20Speaker 2: My fellow South Africans.
- 25:21Speaker 3: When people's own.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Baby girl just condomize. I want you to condomize. All
- 25:27Speaker 2: you condomize. As they walk straight, stomach in, chest out.
- 25:32Speaker 2: Not the stomach out, chest in.
- 25:35Speaker 1: I am McIntyre from Glasgow.
- 25:37Speaker 2: What kind of a McIntyre are you? I'm a McIntyre.
- 25:40Speaker 3: McIntyre?
- 25:41Speaker 2: Ah, from Edinburgh, I suppose. No, from Maritz, Pará. Unbelievable, unbelievable.
- 25:47Speaker 3: I want to be a son of Japan.
- 25:50Speaker 2: We want to be a son of Japan.
- 25:52Speaker 6: Windy, windy, windy, windy, windy.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Swap me a kegel. Get up my... Up my tongue up. Beep, beep, beep, beep.
- 26:01Speaker 3: Wee, wee, wah.
- 26:04Speaker 2: You've got an uncle in the furniture business, Joshua Dawes.
- 26:09Speaker 2: My f * * *, my release. Listen properly. 36?
- 26:13Speaker 1: I love the way you say 36.
- 26:16Speaker 2: 36. These hands will never let you go. Put the
- 26:22Speaker 2: pedal to the metal. It's Friday Action Night, right here
- 26:26Speaker 2: on E! Oh! I giggle and I waggle and I
- 26:31Speaker 2: giggle and I gaggle.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Remember, I'm Timothy Trudeau.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Each time when I come here, I am abused.
- 26:41Speaker 7: Killing me softly with his soul.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Remix.
- 26:52Speaker 7: Killing me softly with his soul.
- 26:54Speaker 2: What's that? It's Shabalala! The Baker's Man can.
- 27:02Speaker 3: The Baker's Man can.
- 27:06Speaker 2: The Baker's Man can.
- 27:07Speaker 6: Pumpkin patch, oh.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Pumpkin patch.
- 27:11Speaker 1: Let's all stay in pumpkin patch.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Ta-da-la-la, it's the man. Ta-da-la-la, make a punch. That's nothing new. Heidi, Heidi,
- 27:39Speaker 2: you're fantastic. Do you know your monkey stole my Savannah?
- 27:48Speaker 5: No.
- 27:48Speaker 3: Well, if you hum it, I'll play it.
- 27:50Speaker 2: I think I need a bath, Bob. I know just
- 27:54Speaker 2: the place, Nigel. It's the story of the 2.55-cylinder fancy bus.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Oh, shit!
- 28:03Speaker 2: That's us, our South African Sound Archive. Be proud. It's
- 28:07Speaker 2: Heritage Day. And if you have anything else to add
- 28:10Speaker 2: after that four-minute clip of a bunch of things that
- 28:13Speaker 2: really have the audio culture captured in South Africa, please
- 28:16Speaker 2: feel free to add to it because we are upgrading
- 28:19Speaker 2: that every single time we hear a new clip. That
- 28:21Speaker 2: just is so us. and South Africa. Happy Heritage Day.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Maria Pepa, Bongo Muffin, the finest South African music on
- 28:30Speaker 2: the flash drive and KFM 94.5 to go along with
- 28:33Speaker 2: your braai. Is this Bernu?
- 28:34Speaker 7: This is Bernu.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Bernu! That's it. Thank you, my brother. I thought so.
- 28:40Speaker 2: I did it in Cassidy's vernac first and then I'm
- 28:42Speaker 2: going to go back to mine. Bernu. I say, mania,
- 28:46Speaker 2: are you ready to rumble? You could win dry firewood.
- 28:49Speaker 2: You know how rare dry firewood is this close to winter.
- 28:53Speaker 2: It's rare, my friend.
- 28:53Speaker 3: Especially in Cape Town.
- 28:54Speaker 2: Yes.
- 28:54Speaker 3: Especially in Cape Town.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Because you know how these people promise you, they go like, no, no, no,
- 28:58Speaker 2: the wood is dry. You take it home. You put
- 29:00Speaker 2: it in the bride. Then what do you hear?
- 29:03Speaker 5: Exactly. That's the only one you hear.
- 29:06Speaker 2: Then it's bad. And it smokes up a lot. And
- 29:08Speaker 2: do you know that that wet firewood, it makes everything
- 29:11Speaker 2: smell like bride. Like everything. Trust me. Exactly. Even your clothes.
- 29:16Speaker 2: Your neighbor's washing. Your eyebrows start smelling like briar manure. Goodness.
- 29:22Speaker 2: We have two single word clues for you so you
- 29:23Speaker 2: can win a dry firewood. I'm going to call it
- 29:27Speaker 2: an extravaganza from Cape Town Firewood. Their email address is
- 29:31Speaker 2: pretty much, well, their website is capetownfirewood.co.za. They also, they deliver,
- 29:37Speaker 2: so you can WhatsApp them. Quick, quick, 073-332-3446, and they
- 29:45Speaker 2: will sort you out. And this prize has in it, Bernu,
- 29:49Speaker 2: listen to this one, three fire lighter packs. We need
- 29:53Speaker 2: that just to get things started. Then five. Packs of
- 29:58Speaker 2: Namibian fire starters. Now we're getting there. And here's the
- 30:03Speaker 2: big one. Five bags, right? 20 kilo bags, by the way,
- 30:07Speaker 2: of Kamil Dwarang. That is the holy grail of a braai.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Circle Boss bags, also five, 20 kilograms. Swartak as well,
- 30:17Speaker 2: five times 20 kilogram bags. And then 10 large Roy
- 30:20Speaker 2: Krantz bags. You know that's a staple for us. And
- 30:22Speaker 2: 10 large black wattle bags as well. That's the hamper.
- 30:26Speaker 2: And it's all... Dry. Let's do this thing. Answer the question.
- 30:31Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 30:39Speaker 2: Bernu, here come your clues. Cassidy, take us away, please.
- 30:42Speaker 3: Oh, okay. My clue today is tiger.
- 30:48Speaker 2: Bernu. Yes. Go for it, Minya.
- 30:52Speaker 4: Stripes.
- 30:53Speaker 2: Did you say stripes? Yes. Is stripes correct based on
- 30:59Speaker 2: those words that you heard? We only gave you two yesterday.
- 31:03Speaker 2: Another fresh two today. You've got three in total. Incorrect answers.
- 31:08Speaker 2: Fish and chips that came through. Yours is stripes. Is
- 31:11Speaker 2: it right? No. It's okay, Mania. I got your back
- 31:16Speaker 2: because I got another word because I want you to win.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Thank you. Thank you.
- 31:20Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 31:21Speaker 2: I hope this helps, but my word is sensitive.
- 31:27Speaker 1: Lion.
- 31:28Speaker 2: What do you say?
- 31:30Speaker 1: Lion.
- 31:31Speaker 2: Lion. Yes. Lion is incorrect. Come on, Bernu. The wood
- 31:42Speaker 2: should have gone to you, man. We're going to have
- 31:44Speaker 2: to roll over. I know you had so much confidence
- 31:48Speaker 2: in your voice. I'm so sorry, my friend. But I
- 31:50Speaker 2: hope that you try again and that Pietras calls you
- 31:52Speaker 2: again for another shot. Bernu tried. Unfortunately, incorrect today. You
- 31:57Speaker 2: heard those two words. Please remember them. Because we're going
- 32:00Speaker 2: to roll this over. And Cape Town Firewoods, incredible. KFM
- 32:04Speaker 2: Summerbry Hamper is still up for grabs for you. This
- 32:07Speaker 2: prize value that 4,000 Rand. Dry firewood on the concept.
- 32:11Speaker 2: Very South African. And these guys deliver too. You just
- 32:15Speaker 2: need to deliver me a correct answer. Good luck. Here
- 32:19Speaker 2: we go. And thanks to DeFi and Finish for getting
- 32:22Speaker 2: involved with the flash with this week. It's been a joy.
- 32:24Speaker 2: They were in last week and we gave away two dishwashers.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Tomorrow is much of the same. Now, great hosting. It's
- 32:30Speaker 2: about spending time with the people that you really love,
- 32:32Speaker 2: the people that you've invited over. You want to spend
- 32:34Speaker 2: time with them as much as possible. If there's a
- 32:36Speaker 2: dumbs game going, you don't get up and say, let
- 32:39Speaker 2: me just go wash this quickly. No, leave the dishes
- 32:41Speaker 2: in the back. And they'll sort themselves out with a
- 32:43Speaker 2: DeFi dishwasher. Simple. You can continue playing 30 seconds as well.
- 32:47Speaker 2: So with a DeFi dishwasher and finish, just stick around.
- 32:51Speaker 2: Be with your people. That's important. And you can buy
- 32:53Speaker 2: a DeFi dishwasher and you will receive a free additional
- 32:56Speaker 2: three-year warranty. So visit your nearest participating retailer to take
- 33:00Speaker 2: advantage of this limited time offer. Enjoy the moment. Forget
- 33:03Speaker 2: the dishes. T's and C's apply. Nadia, welcome back.
- 33:07Speaker 3: Thank you, Carl.
- 33:08Speaker 2: Just edged it. Hey, just edged it yesterday. Goodness gracious me.
- 33:14Speaker 2: That was tight, eh?
- 33:14Speaker 3: Yes, I'm lucky.
- 33:15Speaker 2: It was tight. I'm very excited. But I think it's
- 33:18Speaker 2: important for you to know that you are competent, ready, confident,
- 33:24Speaker 2: good to go. Let's meet your opponent from Easter River.
- 33:28Speaker 2: Someone who works at the airport. Hello, Shanaz. Hello, Carl.
- 33:34Speaker 2: How's the airport work doing? How's it going on that side?
- 33:37Speaker 2: Lots of people flying around?
- 33:39Speaker 1: Yes, a lot, a lot.
- 33:41Speaker 2: Okay, well, that's good. You know, tourism. As in a
- 33:43Speaker 2: lot of people coming here or people leaving? Coming and going. Oh, both?
- 33:50Speaker 1: Both, exactly.
- 33:51Speaker 2: Okay, good. All right. So you just said you work
- 33:54Speaker 2: at the airport. Are you going to share the department
- 33:57Speaker 2: or is that like top secret?
- 34:00Speaker 6: I don't want to disclose that because we have a
- 34:03Speaker 6: conflict where we can't say anything about our work, but yes.
- 34:06Speaker 3: At the airport.
- 34:10Speaker 2: Now I'm so intrigued. You just made me bus. Happy
- 34:14Speaker 2: Heritage Day. Proper. Shanaz, thank you so much for playing. Nadia,
- 34:18Speaker 2: do you want to go first or second?

- 34:22Speaker 2: All right. No problem. Today, your flash word is... Ish again.
- 34:30Speaker 2: How could I? Why could I? Who am I? Yes,
- 34:34Speaker 2: it's Ish. So it can be I-S-H. It can be I-double-S.
- 34:39Speaker 2: Sometimes even I-C-H, you know, as long as there's an
- 34:42Speaker 2: ish in your answer somewhere, you'll be fine. Are you ready?
- 34:45Speaker 2: I'm ready. All right, good luck to you. Ish is
- 34:48Speaker 2: your flash word. Your time begins in three, two, one,
- 34:51Speaker 2: let's go. A cream-topped caffeinated alcoholic drink.
- 34:58Speaker 3: No pause.
- 34:59Speaker 2: A South African electronic music duo. No pause. A citizen
- 35:06Speaker 2: of Madrid.
- 35:07Speaker 5: No pause.
- 35:09Speaker 2: Spanish. A citizen of Stockholm.
- 35:14Speaker 6: Danish.

- 35:23Speaker 2: just after. I'm sorry. Let's go to the answers. Have
- 35:28Speaker 2: you ever had an Irish coffee in your time?
- 35:31Speaker 6: Yes, of course I have.
- 35:32Speaker 2: Cream topped. Got alcohol in it. That's why I caffeinated.
- 35:37Speaker 2: It's coffee. There we go. SA Electronic Music Duo. I
- 35:41Speaker 2: played them earlier. Goldfish. Citizen of Madrid, Spanish. Stockholm, Swedish.
- 35:47Speaker 2: And then you got it right. Barack's wife.
- 35:48Speaker 5: Yep.
- 35:49Speaker 2: Michelle. That was wonderful. Let's go on to Shannaz. That's
- 35:55Speaker 2: your time to shine-ish. Your time begins in three, two, one.
- 36:03Speaker 2: Let's go. A basketball shot. A swing. Pass. A UK citizen.
- 36:16Speaker 3: American.
- 36:18Speaker 2: This animal apparently has a three-second memory.
- 36:23Speaker 5: Pass.
- 36:25Speaker 2: A citizen of Copenhagen. Danish.
- 36:30Speaker 6: Pass.
- 36:30Speaker 2: A freshwater catch with whiskers. Time is up.
- 36:35Speaker 1: Pass.
- 36:37Speaker 2: There we go. All right. was an interesting journey for you.
- 36:43Speaker 2: Basketball shot, swish. A UK citizen, British. This animal apparently
- 36:50Speaker 2: has a three-second memory. It is that myth about a goldfish.
- 36:54Speaker 2: A citizen of Copenhagen, Danish. A freshwater catch with whiskers,
- 37:00Speaker 2: a catfish. One out of five. Nadia, one out of five.
- 37:06Speaker 2: You've done it again. It is the tiebreaker time. And ladies,
- 37:14Speaker 2: all right, this is what I need from you. To
- 37:16Speaker 2: focus up, make sure all other voices are muted and
- 37:19Speaker 2: only yours is apparent and straightforward. Okay, Nadia? Okay, Shanaz?
- 37:26Speaker 2: There we go. I need your name first and then
- 37:28Speaker 2: an answer, please. Ish remains your flash word. Ladies, the tiebreaker.
- 37:34Speaker 2: The one that will get you into tomorrow's final for
- 37:36Speaker 2: a DeFi dishwasher with finished products is... A citizen of Warsaw.
- 37:54Speaker 2: And here comes the countdown. 3, 2, Nadia, what's your answer? Polish.
- 38:00Speaker 2: That is the correct answer. Nadia, you're through to the
- 38:06Speaker 2: final tomorrow. And Shanaz, don't worry. You are still in
- 38:07Speaker 2: the draw for tomorrow. But well done today. You did
- 38:09Speaker 2: very well. Thank you, Shanaz. One day I'll find out
- 38:12Speaker 2: what you do at the airport.
- 38:13Speaker 5: One day.
- 38:14Speaker 2: Nadia, how did you know that? That was incredible.
- 38:17Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know.
- 38:20Speaker 2: It was just luck. Was it just luck? Okay, good.
- 38:23Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 38:23Speaker 2: All right. Well, let's hope luck follows you tomorrow. You're
- 38:26Speaker 2: in the final for a dishwasher from DeFi and finished products.
- 38:29Speaker 2: I'll chat to you then. It'll sound a little different

- 38:39Speaker 2: our Flashwood champion. DeFi and finished products up for grabs.

- 39:45Speaker 2: No. No, no, no. So I was told, I was told, Dad,
- 39:49Speaker 2: I'll start it at seven. So by the time you're here,
- 39:51Speaker 2: you can still see some of the flames before we
- 39:53Speaker 2: get the coals enough to braai. So it's cool.
- 39:56Speaker 3: So you're eating at midnight.
- 39:57Speaker 2: I was about to say that. Well, I mean, the

- 40:07Speaker 2: It's nothing to cough at. Anyway.
- 40:10Speaker 7: Yes.
- 40:11Speaker 3: So inspired by you.
- 40:13Speaker 2: By me? By you.

- 40:22Speaker 2: Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.
- 40:26Speaker 3: Stop.
- 40:26Speaker 2: Okay. Things you can say at a bribe, but not
- 40:30Speaker 2: to your partner. Not to your partner. Why do you
- 40:33Speaker 2: want to get some people into trouble here, man? What's
- 40:35Speaker 2: your problem, man? Because there's some people at a bribe
- 40:37Speaker 2: right now listening to this, and they're probably going to
- 40:39Speaker 2: say these. That's true. I don't think they're listening too attentively.
- 40:45Speaker 2: You never know. Well, just in case. At 10 to 7,
- 40:47Speaker 2: and you don't have work tomorrow. You're on your, like,
- 40:50Speaker 2: ninth now. You understand what I'm saying? Can you imagine? Hello.
- 40:56Speaker 2: That might happen. You never know. At the braai. So
- 41:00Speaker 2: things you can say at a braai. But not your braai.
- 41:06Speaker 2: Sounds like that wet food Yeah It does sound like
- 41:09Speaker 2: a wet food No this is a sizzle of a steak.
- 41:15Speaker 3: So Is it supposed to be that colour?
- 41:23Speaker 2: It's not hot enough Sorry There's way too much fat
- 41:30Speaker 2: on this No no don't worry Can I put a
- 41:35Speaker 2: probe in it first? to check.
- 41:41Speaker 3: Can you cut off the skin.
- 41:50Speaker 2: Look here if you leave it any longer it's gonna
- 41:53Speaker 2: get dry.

- 42:29Speaker 2: Where did you get?
- 42:29Speaker 3: This is bigger than what we normally have.
- 42:32Speaker 2: No problem. I'll just wrap it in foil.
- 42:40Speaker 3: It's burning.
- 42:42Speaker 2: I usually just press it to see if it's done.
- 42:46Speaker 3: I was going to say it's very dry.
- 42:53Speaker 2: Yes, it would be. It would be. What? Are you done?
- 43:05Speaker 2: I'm done. Are you done? Why are you blushing? Why

- 43:22Speaker 2: Is that a good tradition? It is. That sometimes works. Yeah. Right?
- 43:28Speaker 3: 30 seconds is.
- 43:30Speaker 2: And if you're really good at it, you flip. The card.
- 43:34Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 43:35Speaker 3: Una reverse.
- 43:36Speaker 2: That also works. It does indeed. Thanks so much for
