  Speaker 1: in It's time right now for today's word. Jesus is

  Speaker 1: our example. John five point forty one says, your approval

  Speaker 1: means nothing to me. You know, after the religious leaders
• 0:20
  Speaker 1: in Jerusalem criticized Jesus for healing a man on the Sabbath,
• 0:24
  Speaker 1: he told them that their disapproval meant nothing to him.

  Speaker 1: And Jesus is our example. He wasn't depending on who
• 0:34
  Speaker 1: liked him or supported him. He received his approval from
• 0:38
  Speaker 1: his heavenly father. Y'all, how much fear would we all
• 0:42
  Speaker 1: be if we held this same attitude, where God's approval
• 0:47
  Speaker 1: is ultimately what matters. Yes, of course we all want
• 0:53
  Speaker 1: to be liked, But too many people let the opinions
• 0:56
  Speaker 1: of others determine what they do and who they are.

  Speaker 1: They run everything through a filter. How's this going to
• 1:04
  Speaker 1: make me look? Will others be impressed and applaud or
• 1:07
  Speaker 1: will they look down on me? They don't realize they've
• 1:12
  Speaker 1: taken their eyes off their example while looking for the
• 1:15
  Speaker 1: approval of men. People. Pleasers tend to be insecure. They
• 1:20
  Speaker 1: need approval. They have to keep pleasing others in order
• 1:24
  Speaker 1: to feel good about themselves. Trust me, I know I'm
• 1:28
  Speaker 1: a recovering people pleaser. But here's the issue. Some people
• 1:33
  Speaker 1: will never give you their approval no matter what you do.
• 1:36
  Speaker 1: Sometimes people are for you, and sometimes they're not. Oftentimes
• 1:41
  Speaker 1: they're dealing with their own jealousy and insecurity. The reality
• 1:45
  Speaker 1: is your destiny is not predicated on their approval of you.

  Speaker 1: God laid out a plan for you. He called you,
• 1:54
  Speaker 1: he equipped you, he gave you favor. When you're secure
• 1:57
  Speaker 1: and who he made you to be, you know you're valuable.

  Speaker 1: You already know your talented, You already know you're attractive,

  Speaker 1: and you already know you're a masterpiece because He already
• 2:08
  Speaker 1: said it in his word. You don't need anybody else's validation. Remember,
• 2:14
  Speaker 1: Jesus is your example, and his approval and his validation
• 2:19
  Speaker 1: is all you need. Father, thank you that you are
• 2:23
  Speaker 1: our example and we can feel good about who we
• 2:26
  Speaker 1: are because you made us just as we are. Help
• 2:30
  Speaker 1: us not to become dependent on other people's approval of
• 2:33
  Speaker 1: try to get our value from them. God, we declare
• 2:37
  Speaker 1: that we have your approval and we have your love,
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: unconditional love, and that's all we need. In Jesus' name. Now,

  Speaker 1: that's your word for today. I want you to take
• 2:47
  Speaker 1: that apply it to your everyday life, and you continue
• 2:49
  Speaker 1: to be encouraged to and inspired. It's your early morning
