- 0:06Speaker 1: Welcome back to Artists on Artists on Artists on Artists,
- 0:09Speaker 1: Nicole Byer, Howie Mendel, Steve Harvey.
- 0:13Speaker 2: These three people have something in common.
- 0:16Speaker 3: That's right, they're all game show hosts.
- 0:20Speaker 4: If the captain is the captain of the ship, then
- 0:24Speaker 4: the game show host is the captain of a game show.
- 0:28Speaker 5: Like Shakespeare to a Shakespeare play or Michael Bay two explosions.
- 0:34Speaker 5: A game show needs somebody in charge.
- 0:38Speaker 3: So get those scores ready and listen.
- 0:42Speaker 2: In there we go around.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, Wow.
- 0:50Speaker 6: It's great to see everybody here.
- 0:52Speaker 7: I'm so stoked. I'm so stoked.
- 0:56Speaker 3: It's really good to be here.
- 0:58Speaker 8: Yeah, it's pretty cool, Pretty cool, it's pretty cool.
- 1:01Speaker 2: I've never worked with any of you. Watched all your work.
- 1:04Speaker 5: No, I've never been in the same room. That's a
- 1:05Speaker 5: crazy fun thing about game shows. We don't really ever
- 1:08Speaker 5: work with anybody else besides the contestants.
- 1:10Speaker 9: Yeah, really, the unwashed. I'm joking, but have you noticed
- 1:14Speaker 9: they all have a smell.
- 1:15Speaker 10: Yes, I'm joking, but na smell like money because that's
- 1:18Speaker 10: what they trying to win.
- 1:20Speaker 9: You know.
- 1:21Speaker 7: They smell like they've been standing outside all day in
- 1:23Speaker 7: the sun.
- 1:23Speaker 9: I'm joking.
- 1:24Speaker 8: I'm joking. It seems like you got a lot of
- 1:27Speaker 8: resentment audio.
- 1:28Speaker 9: No, I love my audience, my little minions. I'm joking.
- 1:31Speaker 9: I'm joking.
- 1:32Speaker 6: We'll go ahead. Introduce yourself.
- 1:34Speaker 7: Oh okay, all right. My name is Scottie Speed. I
- 1:37Speaker 7: am the host of You Did That. It is a
- 1:41Speaker 7: baking competition show where uh ten bakers try to fool
- 1:47Speaker 7: six judges by either presenting a cake that they've made
- 1:52Speaker 7: or something they bought from the store, and if the
- 1:54Speaker 7: judges guess if the thing they bought is something they bought,
- 1:59Speaker 7: nobody gets any money, but if one of them gets tricked,
- 2:03Speaker 7: money goes around.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Now, I have a question, how many times have you
- 2:06Speaker 1: said that monologue?
- 2:07Speaker 9: Right there? I said that monologue? I do count. It's
- 2:10Speaker 9: been four hundred and fifty season fifteen.
- 2:16Speaker 6: That was a little confusing.
- 2:17Speaker 8: Yeah, do you say that at the beginning of every episode?
- 2:19Speaker 6: I do? I do?
- 2:20Speaker 9: They have me live record the audio intro?
- 2:23Speaker 10: And at what point does the ratings drop out at
- 2:26Speaker 10: your on your episode?
- 2:29Speaker 8: We have a loyal all right, the game show last?
- 2:41Speaker 6: Okay?
- 2:42Speaker 10: Okay, Oh hello, everybody you know who I am? Two
- 2:47Speaker 10: and two baby, I'm drip ice baby. Yes, yes, yes,
- 2:51Speaker 10: legend in the game A host, of course, the very
- 2:56Speaker 10: popular show. You sure you want to say that? Be
- 3:00Speaker 10: e t it's a show or black people bring in
- 3:05Speaker 10: white people and ask them.
- 3:07Speaker 6: You sure you.
- 3:08Speaker 8: Want to say that?
- 3:10Speaker 10: It's been called the most stressful hour for white America
- 3:15Speaker 10: of all time.
- 3:17Speaker 2: God, does your show stressed me out?
- 3:19Speaker 8: Stresses you out?
- 3:20Speaker 1: I know it, but it actually comes in handy because, Uh,
- 3:26Speaker 1: I'm so used to being with my wife and when
- 3:28Speaker 1: I'm on the road, I go to bed and I
- 3:29Speaker 1: go I'm missing the stress that puts me to sleep.
- 3:31Speaker 2: And I put your show on.
- 3:33Speaker 8: Ah, you sure you want to say that?
- 3:36Speaker 2: Oh?
- 3:36Speaker 8: You sure you want?
- 3:38Speaker 10: You sure you want to invite the stress of white
- 3:42Speaker 10: America into your heart drip.
- 3:44Speaker 7: I did want to point out I saw your show
- 3:46Speaker 7: because I went to a right aid recently to put
- 3:50Speaker 7: my arm in one of those little blood pressure things
- 3:52Speaker 7: that squeezes your arm, and instead of the squeezer, they
- 3:55Speaker 7: just played your show on the screen.
- 3:57Speaker 8: That's right, that's right.
- 3:58Speaker 10: My show has the number one graphic for people who
- 4:01Speaker 10: can't afford blood pressure at the doctor.
- 4:05Speaker 11: It's really good because I symptimes. I wake up in
- 4:07Speaker 11: the morning and I'm like a little sleepy.
- 4:09Speaker 3: And I can't get out of bed. But I put
- 4:10Speaker 3: on your show and then I go and then I'm
- 4:14Speaker 3: out the door.
- 4:15Speaker 8: Yes, yes, boy is it good?
- 4:17Speaker 10: My show has been called the number one ratings hit
- 4:20Speaker 10: for b ET since one O six in.
- 4:22Speaker 5: Park, another very stressful show. Another yes, Yes, Hello everybody.
- 4:31Speaker 5: I'm George Pook and I host Survivor with kids. It's
- 4:36Speaker 5: a great fun spin off of Survivor where we get
- 4:40Speaker 5: thirty kids and put them on an island for twenty
- 4:42Speaker 5: days to see if they can survive.
- 4:45Speaker 3: How old? How old are the kids?
- 4:47Speaker 5: The kids range from anywhere to from thirteen to five.
- 4:51Speaker 5: They're they're young, they're spirited, and we just the interesting
- 4:55Speaker 5: thing about Survivor is, you know, there's there are adults,
- 4:59Speaker 5: but with kids, you want to see what they do
- 5:00Speaker 5: by themselves, so you kind of leave them alone a
- 5:02Speaker 5: little bit longer.
- 5:03Speaker 6: You know.
- 5:03Speaker 5: It's really fun, really safe, really safe. We're in season
- 5:07Speaker 5: one and we're hoping we get season two.
- 5:10Speaker 9: How much do the kiddos win?
- 5:11Speaker 5: If they win, they win ten thousand dollars. That's just
- 5:16Speaker 5: huge for kids.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Yeah, different, yeah, for a great kid.
- 5:20Speaker 6: Yes, it was a great way to pitch the show.
- 5:22Speaker 5: We kind of went in going, look, kids don't really
- 5:25Speaker 5: have an understanding of money.
- 5:26Speaker 6: Ten thousand dollars, that's a lot for a kid. They'll
- 5:28Speaker 6: love that. So yes, ten thousand dollars for two kids.
- 5:33Speaker 6: That win.
- 5:33Speaker 8: You know.
- 5:33Speaker 4: I actually auditioned for your role as a host a
- 5:37Speaker 4: while ago, and I remember back then it was called
- 5:40Speaker 4: lord of the Flies.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Let's just fucking put them on an island project.
- 5:43Speaker 5: Yes, it was called that, but the network, you know,
- 5:46Speaker 5: network notes, so we had to say, I can't say
- 5:50Speaker 5: fucking or lord of the flies.
- 5:52Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 5:52Speaker 5: So, but yes, that was the original pitch, is kind
- 5:55Speaker 5: of I read that book and I thought I got
- 5:57Speaker 5: called up when my friends who's a big time producer,
- 5:59Speaker 5: big time producer John garmp.
- 6:03Speaker 8: Oh, Johnny, Johnny j good guy Johnny.
- 6:06Speaker 2: If I smoke in here, yeah, yeah, we do mine.
- 6:10Speaker 8: I was gonna say, I mind it, but you go
- 6:11Speaker 8: ahead and do your thing.
- 6:13Speaker 9: If I do joke, I don't.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Oh man, Okay, it's my dern Okay. Well, my name
- 6:22Speaker 3: is Ricky Flanagan, and I host Lady or no lady.
- 6:27Speaker 3: There's fifty boxes up on the board.
- 6:31Speaker 11: Half of them contain a lady and the other half
- 6:35Speaker 11: contained nothing at all.
- 6:37Speaker 8: Yeah, a real human lady. You know, I don't watch
- 6:40Speaker 8: the show, so I want to know there's this there's
- 6:42Speaker 8: a woman, the women. She didn't say woman, she said lady,
- 6:47Speaker 8: A lady.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Oh, comebout a day.
- 6:49Speaker 3: It's not just any woman. Anybody can be a woman.
- 6:53Speaker 4: Now, some of the empty boxes do contain women, but
- 6:57Speaker 4: only twenty five of them.
- 6:59Speaker 8: Contain lady eight.
- 7:00Speaker 9: But if it's a woman, it's considered empty.
- 7:03Speaker 8: Yeah, so it's people in every box. It's fifty people
- 7:06Speaker 8: in fifty boxes.
- 7:07Speaker 10: Yes, and fifty of them my women, and twenty five
- 7:10Speaker 10: of my women for twenty five of my ladies.
- 7:12Speaker 4: Women, twenty five of those women are actually just Jack
- 7:16Speaker 4: in the boxes.
- 7:18Speaker 6: So there are women Jack in the boxes.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Yeah, Jacqueline in the boxes.
- 7:22Speaker 8: You know what's.
- 7:23Speaker 9: Crazy is I wasn't confused when you first described the show,
- 7:26Speaker 9: But the more you talk about it, the.
- 7:28Speaker 8: Least I know. There seems to be more to this
- 7:31Speaker 8: show too.
- 7:31Speaker 10: You got other you got other things like they're like oakers,
- 7:34Speaker 10: the levels and stuff like that.
- 7:36Speaker 8: Yeah, what's up with this show?
- 7:39Speaker 4: Tried to expand because we knew we knew the boxes
- 7:43Speaker 4: think could get stale, so a surely we started having
- 7:46Speaker 4: ladies hiding.
- 7:47Speaker 3: In the rafters.
- 7:48Speaker 4: Ah, and so you have to That's a trick of
- 7:50Speaker 4: the show is if you want to go for a
- 7:52Speaker 4: bonus round, you have to put a blindfold on and
- 7:55Speaker 4: count how many ladies are in the rafters, and then
- 7:58Speaker 4: you get a bonus point. We're on the Roku network.
- 8:02Speaker 2: I love Roku. Those are good guys, good guys.
- 8:05Speaker 5: Yeah, we pitched Lord of the Flies, but with fucking kids.
- 8:09Speaker 5: Put the fucking kids on the boat island. But it
- 8:12Speaker 5: just it didn't work with them. They weren't looking for
- 8:14Speaker 5: that content. So we went a little darker.
- 8:15Speaker 9: Their gems over there. Roku's the future, like rou the future.
- 8:18Speaker 3: The great thing about them is I don't think they've
- 8:20Speaker 3: seen the show once, so I've never gotten a note.
- 8:24Speaker 9: I mean, who saw Roku coming.
- 8:25Speaker 7: It's it's like if a television just said I'm gonna
- 8:27Speaker 7: make TV.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Now, that's incredible.
- 8:31Speaker 3: What a creative way to say that.
- 8:33Speaker 6: I'm the last, but not least, one of the labels.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Joe and it's mister Chapel. That's me, mister Chapel. I
- 8:44Speaker 1: host a little game show we like to call uh
- 8:47Speaker 1: wipe out holding the lasagna while I'm surfing.
- 8:50Speaker 8: Yeah, yes, and this.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Show has been running for one, like fifty years.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Oh, we've been going since the eighties.
- 8:56Speaker 10: Yeah, can we hear can we hear a clip of
- 8:57Speaker 10: how your voice sounded when you first got it?
- 9:01Speaker 1: Play a vintage clip, you know, I got some Hey,
- 9:04Speaker 1: welcome to surfing with Alasagna.
- 9:06Speaker 8: Wipe Boat.
- 9:08Speaker 2: That's a little boy whose balls and trapped yet?
- 9:10Speaker 8: Yeah? Wow?
- 9:12Speaker 2: And we shoot we shooting the depths at Burbank.
- 9:15Speaker 1: I smoked five packs a day and you can tell
- 9:18Speaker 1: from my voice I've changed.
- 9:20Speaker 7: I love you, mister Chappele. I mean I used to
- 9:23Speaker 7: watch you. I used to pretend like I was sick
- 9:25Speaker 7: so I could watch you on my sick days when
- 9:28Speaker 7: I was home. Oh, crowd, I would say that would
- 9:30Speaker 7: be the best part of a sick day, was watching
- 9:33Speaker 7: wipe Out holding Lasagna with while surfing.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Yeah, that's it.
- 9:36Speaker 8: Yeah, I love you too.
- 9:38Speaker 10: You know when I was a little shorty growing up
- 9:40Speaker 10: in Boston. Uh, I used to hear your catchphrase, your
- 9:44Speaker 10: famous catchphrase, like uh uh scoopy the doupe, And I
- 9:48Speaker 10: was like, dang, that makes me want to do TV.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Oh that's so kind.
- 9:53Speaker 1: I mean, I love my catchphrase and my people who
- 9:55Speaker 1: wrote it shout out to Johnny C. He wrote that catchphrase,
- 9:58Speaker 1: and h we wanted something that I could say for anything.
- 10:02Speaker 1: You know, if somebody fell off the surfboard, if they
- 10:04Speaker 1: ate the lasagna, if they tripped, I could just go.
- 10:07Speaker 5: Off off And just to remind everybody this the game
- 10:10Speaker 5: is kind of you're trying not to wipe out, and
- 10:13Speaker 5: then you're trying to eat a lasagna, and then you're
- 10:15Speaker 5: trying to surf right.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Well, like Lady in a Box, it's got levels. Yeah,
- 10:20Speaker 1: so you got to get to the level with the Lizas.
- 10:23Speaker 11: That's such an honor to hear you say that. Of course,
- 10:25Speaker 11: I was raised on your show.
- 10:27Speaker 8: It's such a simple What happened to your voice.
- 10:33Speaker 6: Drastically?
- 10:34Speaker 2: I'm sorry I'm smoking so much my affecting you.
- 10:36Speaker 3: I think I'm getting a little second.
- 10:38Speaker 4: Hand and I don't remember what I sounded like before.
- 10:46Speaker 3: But anyway, I won't give the second hand smoke.
- 10:48Speaker 11: I actually like it better than first hand smoke, to
- 10:51Speaker 11: be honest.
- 10:51Speaker 9: To be a hands free I do kind of like
- 10:54Speaker 9: this new voice on you.
- 10:55Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, I think it's it's a great hosting voice.
- 10:58Speaker 2: So you're looking for reprint.
- 11:02Speaker 6: It's a shrill it's short, it's really good.
- 11:04Speaker 9: It does sound like smoke is literally caught in your throat.
- 11:07Speaker 11: Yeah, I think it sounds like America's grandfather doing this,
- 11:11Speaker 11: just a comforting voice that you could put. You sit
- 11:14Speaker 11: back in your chair and you watch the Roku channel
- 11:17Speaker 11: and then America's Grandpa comes on.
- 11:19Speaker 10: Now I want to I want to push back on
- 11:21Speaker 10: something because on my show, that right there would be
- 11:23Speaker 10: grounds for negative five points. You see when you say
- 11:26Speaker 10: America's grandfather, you sure you want to say America's Grandfather
- 11:32Speaker 10: wasn't too kind?
- 11:33Speaker 3: I'm talking about my collars so hard right now.
- 11:39Speaker 2: I'm so sorry, Dre.
- 11:41Speaker 8: That's a that's how I hate.
- 11:42Speaker 10: And you know what, because you apologize, which is how
- 11:45Speaker 10: you get bonus points on my game, you go ten
- 11:48Speaker 10: extra points.
- 11:49Speaker 8: Wow.
- 11:50Speaker 6: Do you ever feel the points with you?
- 11:51Speaker 8: Oh?
- 11:51Speaker 10: Yeah, I bring the points with me everywhere I go.
- 11:54Speaker 10: That's how game show hosts do it.
- 11:55Speaker 1: You know today, do you ever feel like you're just
- 11:58Speaker 1: trying to live your life and you start playing your
- 12:00Speaker 1: show like at a restaurant with your friends, and you'll
- 12:02Speaker 1: bring your show up?
- 12:04Speaker 5: No?
- 12:04Speaker 12: No, nah.
- 12:04Speaker 10: See when I'm off, people could say I land the
- 12:07Speaker 10: shit around me.
- 12:09Speaker 6: You don't care.
- 12:10Speaker 8: I don't care. But when the camera's rolling, you sure
- 12:13Speaker 8: you want to say that?
- 12:16Speaker 6: No?
- 12:17Speaker 11: I do want to ask you because there was that,
- 12:19Speaker 11: of course, story that went viral about the woman who
- 12:23Speaker 11: went on your show and then went so crazy that
- 12:26Speaker 11: she drove a car into a palm tree.
- 12:29Speaker 3: And then like fled the state.
- 12:31Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 12:32Speaker 3: Do you feel any responsibility for that?
- 12:34Speaker 6: Or do you think she had a counting anything like that?
- 12:36Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 12:36Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, I get this question all the time. You
- 12:39Speaker 10: see what I'm saying. Uh, I'm a person who likes
- 12:43Speaker 10: good television.
- 12:44Speaker 8: Right, you say that?
- 12:46Speaker 11: You know?
- 12:47Speaker 10: So, I don't feel any type of responsibility for her
- 12:51Speaker 10: actions because who was number one that day?
- 12:55Speaker 8: Drip was? Drip was number one.
- 12:57Speaker 10: So as long as I'm number one, can dry your
- 13:00Speaker 10: car into a god damn fire hydrant into a palm tree,
- 13:04Speaker 10: you can dry your car into your grandma.
- 13:06Speaker 8: I'm not gonna care I that you know what I'm saying.
- 13:08Speaker 3: I love that you win every show.
- 13:10Speaker 6: I love that you are the winner. Oh, I win
- 13:12Speaker 6: every show.
- 13:13Speaker 8: I went like, I come on, brother.
- 13:15Speaker 1: It catchs me every time. Though at the end, I go,
- 13:17Speaker 1: maybe he won't win, and you win.
- 13:19Speaker 8: I win.
- 13:19Speaker 10: I win the money for every show contestings have never
- 13:23Speaker 10: won money. I won fuur million, five hundred dollars on
- 13:27Speaker 10: my show.
- 13:28Speaker 9: My question is if you lose, do they replace you
- 13:31Speaker 9: if I lose?
- 13:31Speaker 10: Oh yeah, that's if I lose, they replace me with
- 13:34Speaker 10: of course, Steve Harvey.
- 13:35Speaker 9: It's kind of like it follows it is it is.
- 13:38Speaker 10: It is as soon as as soon as as soon
- 13:41Speaker 10: as a woke white person comes who doesn't say anything
- 13:43Speaker 10: wrong on my show, that's when I lose.
- 13:45Speaker 8: But that's impossible. So I'm not gonna ever.
- 13:48Speaker 3: Lose baby years and no one can do it.
- 13:51Speaker 8: Nobody can do it.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Oh no, what part of town you filming?
- 13:54Speaker 8: Oh?
- 13:55Speaker 10: You know what I'm saying. I film in Inglewood. I
- 13:58Speaker 10: film right behind Sofi Stadium. Oh wow, kind of stadium?
- 14:05Speaker 8: Sound concerned at all?
- 14:08Speaker 6: Devastatingly placed.
- 14:10Speaker 10: Yes, it's a little loud, you know what I'm saying.
- 14:12Speaker 10: It's a little loud. But you know, I just my bullhorn. No,
- 14:15Speaker 10: you know, I make up for the for the sound
- 14:18Speaker 10: and the volume discrepancies.
- 14:20Speaker 8: Absolute. Yeah.
- 14:21Speaker 7: I have a question for everybody here because I am
- 14:24Speaker 7: so curious about the way people's productions, because everyone shoots a.
- 14:29Speaker 9: Game show differently, right, how many episodes. Do you guys
- 14:32Speaker 9: shoot in one session? For me, since there's a baking show,
- 14:35Speaker 9: we shoot one every two days.
- 14:37Speaker 7: It takes a long time. I have to sit in
- 14:40Speaker 7: the studio while they bake. It is excruciating, It is hard,
- 14:44Speaker 7: and it is long.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Wow.
- 14:46Speaker 7: Unless they buy from a store, then the episode takes
- 14:48Speaker 7: forty five minutes, and so.
- 14:50Speaker 6: It really never que in the judges.
- 14:52Speaker 5: I feel like if they don't, if they don't shoot
- 14:54Speaker 5: for two days, the judges would know most of the
- 14:56Speaker 5: things were purchased at the store.
- 14:57Speaker 9: Well, that's the thing. We bring the judges in at
- 15:00Speaker 9: the end.
- 15:01Speaker 7: So sometimes we take two days to bake, but the
- 15:03Speaker 7: judges don't know until they're coming in at the end.
- 15:05Speaker 7: They don't have to sit there, thank god, just me,
- 15:09Speaker 7: just me to kind of do color commentary while they are.
- 15:11Speaker 6: You callow them to the store, right, I follow them
- 15:14Speaker 6: to the store.
- 15:15Speaker 7: I don't know if you guys can tell I actually
- 15:17Speaker 7: used to be a comedian before I did this show.
- 15:19Speaker 6: I couldn't. That's great.
- 15:20Speaker 8: You couldn't tell nothing funny. I haven't said anything funny funny.
- 15:26Speaker 9: No, I wasn't a scholar.
- 15:27Speaker 3: I thought you want a contest.
- 15:28Speaker 9: No, no, I sort of like.
- 15:32Speaker 7: No make a wish found I was a good comedian. Actually,
- 15:36Speaker 7: I was a good comedian and I was really good
- 15:39Speaker 7: and people loved me, and I took this.
- 15:40Speaker 9: Job and I and and now it's what I do.
- 15:43Speaker 7: But comedy has always been my love, my heart, and
- 15:45Speaker 7: I actually am doing a lot of a lot of
- 15:49Speaker 7: stand up sets at the tewelivistamol. If you guys want
- 15:52Speaker 7: to come.
- 15:52Speaker 3: Out ever, okay, wearing them all.
- 15:55Speaker 9: It's in the big in the food court. No, yeah,
- 16:02Speaker 9: it is very loud, but I use a bullhorn and
- 16:04Speaker 9: it's really great.
- 16:04Speaker 8: But how many episodes do you guys shoot?
- 16:07Speaker 5: Well, you know, for us, we've put these kids kind
- 16:09Speaker 5: of in the middle of nowhere, and so we're constantly
- 16:11Speaker 5: shooting for thirty days.
- 16:13Speaker 6: You know, it's not we don't wrap until we're done.
- 16:15Speaker 9: And then do the kids got to go to school?
- 16:17Speaker 12: School?
- 16:18Speaker 5: Well, we have a tutor on set, but no, not
- 16:20Speaker 5: really the tutor. We basically give one of the students
- 16:23Speaker 5: the job of tutor and they have to teach the
- 16:25Speaker 5: rest of the students.
- 16:27Speaker 10: Now, the rest of the kids, which age between the
- 16:29Speaker 10: thirteen or the five year old.
- 16:31Speaker 5: Usually we aim for thirteen, but sometimes it doesn't swing
- 16:34Speaker 5: that way because you know it's all random at the beginning. Basically,
- 16:37Speaker 5: the kids get to the island, they break them to
- 16:39Speaker 5: different groups, and they're all assigned roles randomly. So there's
- 16:43Speaker 5: a cook, there's a school teacher, there's the mayor, there's
- 16:47Speaker 5: the police, there's the police.
- 16:51Speaker 8: Want to say that.
- 16:56Speaker 6: It's just a position, it's a it's just a position.
- 16:59Speaker 6: It's just a position.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Okay, So how.
- 17:01Speaker 11: Many points do we all have at this point?
- 17:04Speaker 10: You got ten points, you got ten, zero, you got
- 17:09Speaker 10: five points, negative fifteen.
- 17:12Speaker 6: Brother, So just mentioning the police is negative fifteen. Okay.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Wait, so when you game points, it's because I said sorry.
- 17:18Speaker 8: Yeah. Oh, and now you got fifteen.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Points because I said sorry again.
- 17:23Speaker 11: Now you get if she says sorry in the middle
- 17:25Speaker 11: of a sentence.
- 17:27Speaker 6: No matter what you doesn't matter when you say it,
- 17:30Speaker 6: it's sorry.
- 17:31Speaker 10: Now, brother, you are white man, you gotta work harder
- 17:34Speaker 10: than that. You gotta work harder than that. Brother, you
- 17:36Speaker 10: gotta work harder than that.
- 17:38Speaker 6: But yeah, so basically we we non stop. Shoot.
- 17:41Speaker 5: It's it's it's fun, it's hard, it's challenging. You know,
- 17:44Speaker 5: it's always the worst when you lose a kid. But
- 17:46Speaker 5: that's just like the tricks of the trade.
- 17:48Speaker 10: You know, can I ask you a question, brother, because
- 17:50Speaker 10: you if there's something we all know as game show hosts,
- 17:54Speaker 10: we like to work as least as possible.
- 17:56Speaker 9: Yeah, you know, totally.
- 17:57Speaker 10: And you tried to make it sound like you shooting
- 17:59Speaker 10: foot thirty straight days. Well we know you sitting up
- 18:02Speaker 10: in the crib and you just make apparises and stuff.
- 18:05Speaker 10: How many how many of you make? How many times
- 18:10Speaker 10: do you come to the island?
- 18:12Speaker 6: You're right, I.
- 18:13Speaker 5: Come only when they play the game shows. And if
- 18:15Speaker 5: there's been a devastating loss, ye'll try to explain it
- 18:18Speaker 5: to the audience of what happened.
- 18:19Speaker 9: Now it qualifies as a devastating loss.
- 18:21Speaker 6: Oh you know if they're.
- 18:22Speaker 5: Kids, so accidents happen all the time. Their kids on
- 18:25Speaker 5: an island in the middle of Kenyon.
- 18:27Speaker 4: The kids survived the show, I would say, season one, Wait.
- 18:33Speaker 10: A minute, Oh yeah, we're shooting in the middle of
- 18:37Speaker 10: an island on Kenyon.
- 18:39Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 18:39Speaker 6: Yeah, on the coast of the Kenyon Coast. There's an island.
- 18:41Speaker 5: It's it's not too big, but we just throw the
- 18:43Speaker 5: kids on there and shoot. And basically every morning I
- 18:46Speaker 5: take a boat in to see what happens.
- 18:48Speaker 8: It's the demographic of these kids.
- 18:50Speaker 6: We fly him in from America. We flying from America.
- 18:55Speaker 4: Wow, something really rough.
- 19:05Speaker 8: Bring a man from America.
- 19:07Speaker 9: Huh.
- 19:08Speaker 8: It feels like another twenty k going into the pockets
- 19:11Speaker 8: and trips coming up pretty soon.
- 19:12Speaker 10: We got go ahead, we can keep this going. I'm
- 19:15Speaker 10: gonna You're just sorry, No, I can't. You know what
- 19:20Speaker 10: honesty gives you everything plus twenty points.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Wow, that's what I love about your game. It's always changing.
- 19:26Speaker 3: It's always changing. Lady, you're no lady. We kind of have.
- 19:34Speaker 8: We have changed the game.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Sorry, I switched to my cigar.
- 19:39Speaker 3: Oh yeah, the cigar is more smoking. It's kind of
- 19:42Speaker 3: kick my voice higher.
- 19:44Speaker 11: But anyway, on lady or no lady, we are very
- 19:47Speaker 11: intent on having the same lady there the whole time.
- 19:50Speaker 11: So if one contestant reveals a lady, she's free to
- 19:54Speaker 11: go and she could go eat, and she could go
- 19:56Speaker 11: have a have a snack, go to the bathroom, whatever.
- 19:59Speaker 11: But it that lady is not revealed during the show,
- 20:04Speaker 11: then we keeper in the box for the next contestant.
- 20:07Speaker 11: So sometimes she's there overnight and they are.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Literally are holes.
- 20:11Speaker 6: Big is the box.
- 20:12Speaker 11: It's like ladies' eye just kind of like gott of
- 20:15Speaker 11: like five two five.
- 20:17Speaker 8: Too, just five two okay, yeah, med of like five two.
- 20:20Speaker 9: I didn't bring this up when we started, but I
- 20:22Speaker 9: actually dated a girl, well, a lady who was in
- 20:25Speaker 9: the box.
- 20:26Speaker 3: You dated one of the box lady?
- 20:27Speaker 9: Yeah, I dated a box lady. And it was really
- 20:29Speaker 9: difficult when we were when you guys were shooting, because
- 20:34Speaker 9: she'd basically say.
- 20:35Speaker 3: I really I just spent a lot of time in
- 20:36Speaker 3: the box, man.
- 20:37Speaker 7: And there was no service in the box, and it
- 20:39Speaker 7: was I just kind of had to lose her to
- 20:41Speaker 7: the box.
- 20:42Speaker 9: Every few weeks she'd be gone to the box, and
- 20:45Speaker 9: it was hard. It was hard to date.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Wasn't Kate Middleton a lady back in the day?
- 20:50Speaker 6: Can I ask you that?
- 20:51Speaker 5: Just a fundamental question about the game. What happens in
- 20:55Speaker 5: the game? Are they are they just selecting boxes until
- 20:59Speaker 5: there's only one left? Or do they have permission to
- 21:03Speaker 5: leave and give up at something?
- 21:05Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 21:05Speaker 2: What's taking the airtime?
- 21:08Speaker 5: So I'm not sure when you select a lady or
- 21:10Speaker 5: do you get a pass.
- 21:11Speaker 6: I'm just confusing.
- 21:13Speaker 2: I'm not sure.
- 21:13Speaker 3: It's so confusing.
- 21:14Speaker 11: You have one lucky contestant man woman or lady. They
- 21:20Speaker 11: stand there and they go one by one, they go one,
- 21:25Speaker 11: they open up the box.
- 21:26Speaker 3: Is there a woman or they.
- 21:29Speaker 9: Always go one by one, one, two, three, four five.
- 21:32Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the world in the game. You can only
- 21:34Speaker 3: go in order.
- 21:35Speaker 6: I got the lady at the top is always in
- 21:38Speaker 6: the box.
- 21:39Speaker 3: Well, we don't know.
- 21:40Speaker 11: We don't know because we do switch out the ladies.
- 21:43Speaker 11: You know, after all, the ladies have been used seven episodes. Anyway,
- 21:48Speaker 11: they guess one, we reveal, we clap, regardless of who
- 21:52Speaker 11: it is. Number two box opens, we reveal, we clap
- 21:57Speaker 11: no matter who it is. And then at the end
- 22:02Speaker 11: of the game, you have to rock paper scissors the
- 22:05Speaker 11: final lady for a prize of fifty thousand dollars.
- 22:09Speaker 5: Okay, you go through all the box so you just
- 22:12Speaker 5: get into the ends.
- 22:14Speaker 8: So the game is just rock paper scissors.
- 22:17Speaker 9: It's a long gree it's kind of a big boss battle.
- 22:20Speaker 2: It's like revealing somebody behind the door.
- 22:22Speaker 3: Yeah, we're splitting hairs here, I guess.
- 22:25Speaker 11: The technical game is rock paper scissors, and the ladies
- 22:29Speaker 11: in the boxes are all fanfare.
- 22:31Speaker 3: But once you get into it, it's a really captivating
- 22:35Speaker 3: show to watch. You never know what's gonna happen next?
- 22:38Speaker 8: Now I heard something.
- 22:40Speaker 10: I know we still got to talk about how many
- 22:42Speaker 10: games we record in a day, but I heard some
- 22:45Speaker 10: you know you famously, you know most people, because we
- 22:48Speaker 10: are you know, we just getting on the other side of.
- 22:50Speaker 8: COVID most people. God, yeah, yeah, I'm so happy. You know,
- 22:55Speaker 8: we didn't even care we were you know, we kept going,
- 22:57Speaker 8: We kept going.
- 22:58Speaker 1: I get a boner every time they put a thing
- 23:01Speaker 1: in my nostril.
- 23:03Speaker 8: Okay, okay, hard to get COVID.
- 23:07Speaker 9: You know what I love about you, mister, You're good.
- 23:10Speaker 8: I want to know a.
- 23:11Speaker 9: Man like you will never exist in the industry again.
- 23:14Speaker 9: And I want to hold on to you for as
- 23:15Speaker 9: long as possible because I'm gonna miss it. I'm gonna
- 23:18Speaker 9: miss the problematicness.
- 23:21Speaker 8: I'm being honest. You hold and known, You hold the
- 23:24Speaker 8: known all right now, you know.
- 23:26Speaker 10: And when we're during COVID, we weren't allowed to touch,
- 23:28Speaker 10: so people would fist bump, right, you know, people with
- 23:30Speaker 10: fist bump.
- 23:31Speaker 8: But I heard you don't like to fist bump.
- 23:33Speaker 10: You know what I'm saying you You you like you
- 23:36Speaker 10: hug and kiss everybody.
- 23:37Speaker 11: No, I think the fist bumping displays. I think fist
- 23:41Speaker 11: bumping transmits two futures, Yeah, hug and kiss as many
- 23:46Speaker 11: people as possible so that I can build up a
- 23:49Speaker 11: natural immunity natural.
- 23:52Speaker 5: So basically, every time a woman or lady comes out
- 23:54Speaker 5: of a box, you're going to kissing it? Right?
- 23:56Speaker 11: Well, I ask first, and that's what takes up a
- 23:59Speaker 11: lot of the shooting time. Every he comes out of
- 24:03Speaker 11: the box, and then I say, hello, lady, is it
- 24:06Speaker 11: okay if I hug you? And then she says yes.
- 24:09Speaker 11: I give her a hug, and then I go thank you.
- 24:12Speaker 11: Is it okay if I kiss you?
- 24:13Speaker 3: And then she says yes, and then I go in
- 24:15Speaker 3: for the GISs.
- 24:16Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 24:16Speaker 11: And so I take a lot of time, and sometimes
- 24:18Speaker 11: I'll ask are you sure?
- 24:19Speaker 3: Are you sure?
- 24:20Speaker 9: And then to be clear, she goes back in the
- 24:22Speaker 9: box and then close it and they go to number two.
- 24:24Speaker 8: And then they will amount yeah, Well.
- 24:27Speaker 11: Once you've been out of the box, you can kind
- 24:29Speaker 11: of sit where the box was and sort of hang
- 24:31Speaker 11: out and be a pretty lady, unless you're a woman,
- 24:34Speaker 11: then you have to leave.
- 24:36Speaker 1: My seventeen year old daughter sent me an article in
- 24:38Speaker 1: Vulture about how you're you're You're h how you're you're
- 24:44Speaker 1: really giving a platform for consent in your show.
- 24:48Speaker 9: And that's awesome and that's a really cool day.
- 24:50Speaker 3: That's the fundamentals that Lady or No Lady was founded upon.
- 24:55Speaker 8: Consent.
- 24:55Speaker 6: Get inside this box, consent.
- 24:58Speaker 8: Exactly for Yes, I love that.
- 25:01Speaker 9: It's awesome.
- 25:02Speaker 8: Now we know what's really going on with your voice.
- 25:04Speaker 8: You got mano.
- 25:06Speaker 3: Yes, I think I have permanent mono.
- 25:09Speaker 11: Yes, but I've never checked natural immunity.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Oh good for you.
- 25:14Speaker 3: I gotta know about this surfing show.
- 25:16Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 25:16Speaker 1: We clock in once a month and we do sixteen
- 25:18Speaker 1: hour days. Right because the rest of us, the lights,
- 25:24Speaker 1: we don't move once we set them up. It's all
- 25:27Speaker 1: about the surfboard and the kitchen behind the surfboard, and
- 25:30Speaker 1: the spot we put on the guy. And then we
- 25:32Speaker 1: got the two PA's that shake the surfboard and handle lasagna.
- 25:36Speaker 1: And I will occasionally shout out trivia from my lawn
- 25:39Speaker 1: chair that they suspend over the stage.
- 25:41Speaker 2: But besides that, we're in and out.
- 25:43Speaker 5: Yeah, I guess for as many questions as I had
- 25:45Speaker 5: about Lady or No Lady, I've got no real questions
- 25:48Speaker 5: about wipeout.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Like the surfboard, it stands, it's a classic show.
- 25:53Speaker 11: And you sitting in that lawn chair suspended above the ocean,
- 25:58Speaker 11: is you know an that's been blasted all over society
- 26:02Speaker 11: for many years.
- 26:03Speaker 3: The t shirts, the toad back.
- 26:05Speaker 9: My uncle's are tattoo right above his belly button of you.
- 26:08Speaker 6: Oh, that's so kind.
- 26:10Speaker 8: Grandma got a got a picture of you above a TV.
- 26:13Speaker 2: That's so sweet. I mean, I we are.
- 26:18Speaker 1: It's a fantasy working where I work. Yeah, because you
- 26:21Speaker 1: know what people like watching.
- 26:23Speaker 13: People fall And there's your your final tagline that you
- 26:27Speaker 13: always say, because you know it was keep the nuts
- 26:31Speaker 13: on those pets the way it.
- 26:33Speaker 9: Was so anti spaining and utering.
- 26:36Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, and it sent a.
- 26:40Speaker 3: Lot of confusing messages.
- 26:43Speaker 5: You.
- 26:44Speaker 10: You got in trouble for that. A few years ago.
- 26:46Speaker 10: I was on your side on Twitter. I was like,
- 26:48Speaker 10: you leave my man alone. You got in trouble for
- 26:51Speaker 10: going and like reattaching nuts on dogs and cats.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Thank you trip. I know that I shouldn't be putting.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Them back on, but I can't prevent them from ever
- 26:59Speaker 1: getting it off again.
- 27:00Speaker 8: You was sewing them back on. Yeah.
- 27:02Speaker 1: I remember when they they wanted to up my contract
- 27:05Speaker 1: when we hit five years, and that was right when
- 27:07Speaker 1: I had really started having a personal journey myself with
- 27:10Speaker 1: my pets nuts going away and their personality is being lost.
- 27:13Speaker 2: I'm watching these pets.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Lose their goddamn minds when you cut their nuts off.
- 27:17Speaker 2: And I said, never again, am I gotta do this?
- 27:19Speaker 1: So I told my agent I ain't going back to
- 27:21Speaker 1: the show unless I can have a moment at the
- 27:23Speaker 1: end of the show where I tell people you keep
- 27:24Speaker 1: your nuts on those tacks.
- 27:26Speaker 10: I can I ask the legitimate question real quick, A
- 27:28Speaker 10: legitimate question. Yeah, go ahead, you know, uh no, it's
- 27:32Speaker 10: not for you. Well, it's for everybody. It's for everybody
- 27:34Speaker 10: whoever knows this. This is a legitimate question. You know,
- 27:36Speaker 10: when you knew that you take the nuts away. What
- 27:39Speaker 10: you're taking away when you spay.
- 27:40Speaker 7: So when you spay, you actually use this little tool
- 27:43Speaker 7: that you hook, You're you're you're taking away the the uterus,
- 27:48Speaker 7: you're taking away the So it's it's internal and you
- 27:52Speaker 7: have to they actually they when when the vets bring
- 27:54Speaker 7: it up, they kind of snap it like a little guy.
- 27:58Speaker 10: How you come off like I are not like a
- 28:01Speaker 10: comedian a comedian.
- 28:03Speaker 12: Man, It was no time, but you know you let
- 28:05Speaker 12: me see my punchline at the end of the d
- 28:08Speaker 12: get to your snap like a little gume, and I
- 28:12Speaker 12: wouldn't want them to do that to me.
- 28:15Speaker 6: Yeah, not really a punchline, that.
- 28:18Speaker 1: Kind of This is why you're doing comedy in a
- 28:21Speaker 1: full court.
- 28:21Speaker 3: It's a good start, but I think we can punch
- 28:24Speaker 3: this up.
- 28:25Speaker 8: Okay.
- 28:25Speaker 6: Can I ask what you are.
- 28:28Speaker 5: Because at the beginning of this I thought you were
- 28:30Speaker 5: maybe twenty, but now you feel sixty plus.
- 28:35Speaker 3: Okay, Okay, this is a fun game.
- 28:37Speaker 11: I'm going to award fifty points to whoever can correctly
- 28:41Speaker 11: guess my age.
- 28:42Speaker 3: So here are the riddles.
- 28:44Speaker 11: The riddles it's between sixteen and ninety nine.
- 28:50Speaker 8: Yeh.
- 28:50Speaker 11: Riddle number two it's not how old your mother is.
- 28:54Speaker 11: And riddle number three it's not how old your baby is.
- 28:59Speaker 9: We all go around and just get listen, let's guess dead.
- 29:04Speaker 6: Okay, your mama's dead.
- 29:06Speaker 8: Okay, that makes sense. That makes sense.
- 29:08Speaker 2: We older you guys mothers, and we'll just mom.
- 29:10Speaker 6: Fifty two, Okay, she's also fifty two.
- 29:13Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, so I'm not fifty two.
- 29:15Speaker 9: Fifty two my mom is seventy three.
- 29:20Speaker 3: I'm not seventy three.
- 29:22Speaker 8: My kids ain't born yeah, so they zero yeah, same.
- 29:26Speaker 3: But we're getting whatever.
- 29:29Speaker 5: We're getting.
- 29:31Speaker 6: I'm just gonna take a guess of twenty six.
- 29:34Speaker 3: I'm seventy two.
- 29:36Speaker 2: You know what this makes me?
- 29:37Speaker 1: I have a question for this because that was a
- 29:39Speaker 1: bad game but hosted by a good person. YEA, believe
- 29:43Speaker 1: in a game show that's bad with a good host.
- 29:47Speaker 8: Now, let me tell you.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Do you think they don't exist?
- 29:49Speaker 10: Let me tell you about that. You know, uh brightbart
- 29:53Speaker 10: dot com?
- 29:54Speaker 6: Right, yes, right Part?
- 29:55Speaker 3: Yeah, here, I do my own research.
- 29:57Speaker 6: Yeah, promote the crud out of Survivor CAD. We'll see.
- 30:01Speaker 10: They don't like me, you know what I'm saying. They
- 30:03Speaker 10: don't like my show. They don't like my show very much.
- 30:06Speaker 10: I don't give much traction on truth social you know
- 30:08Speaker 10: what I'm saying. But the show, they'd be like, this
- 30:10Speaker 10: show is bad for America. It's just making white people
- 30:14Speaker 10: feel like they can't be alive and you know, function
- 30:17Speaker 10: in society. But they say, but that's your advice. Though,
- 30:21Speaker 10: that's your addis is a damn good host. So according
- 30:24Speaker 10: to some people, my show is bad, but they still
- 30:26Speaker 10: watch it.
- 30:27Speaker 6: Wow, I do.
- 30:29Speaker 11: Believe you make up a significant portion of Bright Part's income.
- 30:33Speaker 3: Because of hate clicks. Because people are clicking because they're angry.
- 30:37Speaker 5: Hate clicks, and also love clicks because they always I
- 30:40Speaker 5: see Steve Bannon give editorials about how much he's a
- 30:43Speaker 5: fan of your hosting ability.
- 30:44Speaker 8: You know what I'm saying. You know what I'm saying.
- 30:45Speaker 10: I normally I wouldn't take that endorsement, but dr Ice,
- 30:49Speaker 10: take any endorsement you can give.
- 30:51Speaker 8: You know what I'm saying. I love that.
- 30:53Speaker 7: I cannot tell you who likes you did that because
- 30:55Speaker 7: people just shouted at me on the street all the time.
- 30:58Speaker 7: But I can't ever catch their face like they shout
- 31:01Speaker 7: it because it's my cashphrase, Oh you did that, And
- 31:03Speaker 7: so by accidentally, if my dog poops or something, all
- 31:06Speaker 7: hear just a whizzing car. You did that, and I
- 31:08Speaker 7: won't know who it is. And I feel like people
- 31:10Speaker 7: watch it. But every time I try to be who
- 31:12Speaker 7: is that, like, it's always just some kind of shout
- 31:14Speaker 7: at me.
- 31:14Speaker 2: So it's like, yeah, who is that?
- 31:16Speaker 3: Yeah exactly, nobody has ever recognized me.
- 31:21Speaker 7: Well, you do seem to be shifting kind of at
- 31:22Speaker 7: a Yeah, you're a chameleon.
- 31:25Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, sometimes I have a beard, sometimes I don't.
- 31:29Speaker 2: But you know what, what, I'll just say, I think
- 31:34Speaker 2: that Howie Mendel is a piece of shit.
- 31:36Speaker 5: Yeah, wow, yeah, WoT.
- 31:39Speaker 1: I think that game show is the best written game
- 31:42Speaker 1: I've ever saw.
- 31:43Speaker 5: So you think it's a good.
- 31:45Speaker 6: Good show bad? Hell.
- 31:46Speaker 1: What I'm saying is I think it's up for debate.
- 31:48Speaker 1: I think it depends. I think the Monopoly Man's a
- 31:50Speaker 1: good host Monopoly. Sure man is the host of Monopoly
- 31:56Speaker 1: in so many words.
- 31:58Speaker 8: Yes, yeah, yeah.
- 32:00Speaker 9: Did you get to meet Regis?
- 32:02Speaker 10: Oh Man, I met Regions man. Regis was that guy man?
- 32:05Speaker 10: Regis was that I got a story about regions. We
- 32:11Speaker 10: got a story about regions. Boy, I got a story
- 32:14Speaker 10: about regions. So the years two thousand and six. You
- 32:17Speaker 10: know what I'm saying.
- 32:19Speaker 6: What you're saying, you know.
- 32:20Speaker 10: A young, a young Barry Obama is uh, we called
- 32:23Speaker 10: him Barry back in the day, we all hanging out
- 32:25Speaker 10: in Hyde Park, Chicago. You know what I'm saying, Me
- 32:28Speaker 10: Bury Obama, Regis, Phil Group, Mary Jry j BLI.
- 32:37Speaker 8: We was playing, you know what I'm saying. We was
- 32:39Speaker 8: playing and uh.
- 32:41Speaker 10: And you know, and and I you know, I had
- 32:43Speaker 10: a lot of cars in my hands, so I wasn't
- 32:46Speaker 10: I wasn't there.
- 32:47Speaker 8: Bury Obama had one car.
- 32:48Speaker 10: He was like no, and Regis hit him with the
- 32:51Speaker 10: blappity black blou and if yn'll know what that means,
- 32:54Speaker 10: that means he hit him with the draw fall draw
- 32:56Speaker 10: to reverse reverse skip and he hit him with all
- 33:00Speaker 10: os And Barry Obama was like, I'm going wrong for
- 33:04Speaker 10: president when I get that, and when I get that presidency,
- 33:09Speaker 10: I'm going to start a life's long mission to end
- 33:13Speaker 10: your life.
- 33:14Speaker 8: He said this to Region Region. Mary J. Blige was
- 33:19Speaker 8: just there saying she was she was just Switzerland. She
- 33:23Speaker 8: was just like, no more pain rama. Yeah, that's what
- 33:29Speaker 8: she was saying, and uh, you know, and he did it.
- 33:32Speaker 8: Barry went on, he became president and reaches Philip and died.
- 33:36Speaker 8: That's a star.
- 33:38Speaker 6: Yeah, I have a similar story and uh you do.
- 33:41Speaker 5: Yeah, maybe it's for another time.
- 33:47Speaker 9: No, No, I think it's for an hour.
- 33:48Speaker 3: Similar if it's similar.
- 33:51Speaker 7: Yeah, and this is this is a story that happened
- 33:56Speaker 7: you And it's not a story you're doing for points.
- 33:58Speaker 6: No, No, it's a story that happened to me. It
- 34:01Speaker 6: was me, Regis philbin Uh.
- 34:05Speaker 5: We had Alex Trebek there and we also had I'm
- 34:11Speaker 5: one of my favorite people, Hillary Clinton. She's great, and
- 34:16Speaker 5: we were all playing a game, a little game called life,
- 34:20Speaker 5: so very similar.
- 34:22Speaker 6: Weirdly, how similar.
- 34:23Speaker 5: This is yea, And basically I soft pitched the show
- 34:27Speaker 5: idea to him, which was actually really exciting to kind
- 34:29Speaker 5: of you know, like, what if we got all these
- 34:31Speaker 5: kids from America put them in Kenya and just.
- 34:33Speaker 6: See what happens.
- 34:36Speaker 2: You left pitching that for years.
- 34:37Speaker 8: Yeah, and it's gonna say I don't like this Kenya. Thanks,
- 34:42Speaker 8: I could see some points.
- 34:46Speaker 6: Kenya. There's nothing wrong with Kenya.
- 34:47Speaker 5: We love Kenya, and we'll bringing a lot of money
- 34:50Speaker 5: to Kenya. And the one thing he did say was
- 34:53Speaker 5: don't do this. You know, this is a terrible, terrible idea.
- 34:56Speaker 5: Five year olds going to Kenya by themselves and being
- 34:59Speaker 5: left an island not a good idea. And you know,
- 35:03Speaker 5: we have potato Potato. So we made the show without him.
- 35:07Speaker 5: We were all hanging.
- 35:08Speaker 6: It was a good time.
- 35:09Speaker 8: Well, what was his role going to be on the show?
- 35:11Speaker 6: Oh, he was. He didn't have a role. He was
- 35:13Speaker 6: just kind of I was just talking to.
- 35:15Speaker 5: Him more as a mentor, see more as a mentor,
- 35:18Speaker 5: and then we had a falling out.
- 35:20Speaker 6: But yeah, that's incredible.
- 35:21Speaker 2: I was in an a capella group with rageous.
- 35:24Speaker 1: In college, it was me uh regeous and we're enough
- 35:29Speaker 1: Mary J.
- 35:30Speaker 8: Blotch.
- 35:32Speaker 6: Maybe J you were singing her song?
- 35:33Speaker 8: Yeah, I know, you know them all.
- 35:36Speaker 9: People don't know that she was a kid genius. You
- 35:38Speaker 9: should know that she was in she was in college
- 35:41Speaker 9: and when she was eight.
- 35:42Speaker 6: So when you say that, it makes you sound like
- 35:44Speaker 6: a scholar, like why would uh.
- 35:46Speaker 9: No, But if you haven't heard the joke, the punchline,
- 35:50Speaker 9: the punchline, she.
- 35:51Speaker 7: Was in college when she was eight. I was in
- 35:53Speaker 7: college too, the college of my my pooping my pants
- 35:59Speaker 7: and in elementary school.
- 36:03Speaker 8: So was Mary J. Blige a lady on your show?
- 36:08Speaker 3: Okay, so she was a lady.
- 36:10Speaker 11: But because we never have celebrities, she was a different
- 36:14Speaker 11: She was on a new level.
- 36:16Speaker 3: She was the ultimate lady.
- 36:18Speaker 8: Oh wow. And if you.
- 36:21Speaker 11: Open up, if you catch an ultimate lady, then you
- 36:25Speaker 11: get fifty one thousand dollars, You get an extra one
- 36:29Speaker 11: thousand dollars, and.
- 36:31Speaker 3: You get to hug the ultimate lady for two.
- 36:35Speaker 11: Seconds with her consent, of course, with her consent. Wow,
- 36:40Speaker 11: which takes a little longer because I have to ask
- 36:42Speaker 11: may I hug you?
- 36:43Speaker 3: And may I contestant hug you?
- 36:45Speaker 11: But that's the price we pay for a little bit
- 36:48Speaker 11: more of a fifth solid foundation of consent.
- 36:51Speaker 3: Of course, I have to ask you because you do
- 36:54Speaker 3: have celebrities on your show.
- 36:55Speaker 8: Yeah, I got a few celebrities.
- 36:57Speaker 3: Who has been your favorite celebrity.
- 36:59Speaker 2: To have on?
- 37:00Speaker 5: Can I just jump into when you said to Vin
- 37:05Speaker 5: Diesel you looked at at Diesel, Oh do you want
- 37:09Speaker 5: Are you sure you want to say that?
- 37:10Speaker 6: And he almost had a conniption. That was awesome.
- 37:13Speaker 2: Or when Selena Gomez shit her pants.
- 37:15Speaker 8: Oh, man, yo, when Selena g shit them poopy.
- 37:19Speaker 10: Sh them, shipped them poopies.
- 37:24Speaker 8: Man, she shipped them poopies.
- 37:26Speaker 5: At the Boo Boo when Lindsay Lohan wouldn't stop, Yeah.
- 37:29Speaker 8: That was bad.
- 37:30Speaker 2: Who was it that blood from their nipples?
- 37:33Speaker 8: Oh? You know what I'm saying?
- 37:34Speaker 10: That was uh the the old woman from uh uh
- 37:39Speaker 10: down to Nabby.
- 37:40Speaker 9: Oh, Dave, Maggie Smith Maggie.
- 37:42Speaker 8: Smith Man, Maggie smith Man I.
- 37:45Speaker 9: And when Martino Martindale ran her car through the set. Yeah,
- 37:48Speaker 9: that was crazy.
- 37:48Speaker 6: That was a good episode. That was a good episode.
- 37:51Speaker 6: That was a good episode.
- 37:52Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 37:52Speaker 10: Now we had all we We've had all the celebrities.
- 37:54Speaker 10: You know what I'm saying I would probably say my
- 37:56Speaker 10: favorite one out of all the celebrities we've had was
- 38:01Speaker 10: probably uh, Hillary Clinton too.
- 38:04Speaker 8: You know Hillary Hillary Clinton.
- 38:06Speaker 6: We have Yeah, we have some similarities.
- 38:08Speaker 8: Yeah, man, Hillary Clinton.
- 38:09Speaker 1: As Hillary been on everybody show here she Yeah, she
- 38:14Speaker 1: was a contestant.
- 38:15Speaker 8: She was. I know she was on.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Your show when she was first Lady.
- 38:20Speaker 10: I don't know if anybody watches Lady, your lady, but
- 38:22Speaker 10: lady or no.
- 38:24Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, yeah, so she was.
- 38:26Speaker 11: Not in the boxes because I could not do that
- 38:29Speaker 11: to Hillary Clinton.
- 38:30Speaker 3: But she was a contestant.
- 38:34Speaker 2: The ladies.
- 38:35Speaker 3: This was through a crazy connection.
- 38:38Speaker 11: I was sort of a make a wish kid for
- 38:40Speaker 11: Bill Clinton early on.
- 38:42Speaker 3: It's a long story. We don't have to get in.
- 38:45Speaker 9: I do know presidents get.
- 38:48Speaker 8: When you're a.
- 38:48Speaker 11: President, you are assigned a make a wish kin and
- 38:52Speaker 11: you kind of have to make all their dreams come
- 38:55Speaker 11: drue on a whim.
- 38:56Speaker 3: And I saved all mine.
- 38:58Speaker 8: Up.
- 38:58Speaker 11: I was a kid and I was like, oh, I
- 39:00Speaker 11: really wish I had an ice cream cone right now.
- 39:02Speaker 3: No, I'm gonna save it.
- 39:03Speaker 11: And I saved every wish I had until I could
- 39:06Speaker 11: combine them into an ultimate wish, which was please mister
- 39:09Speaker 11: Bill Clinton.
- 39:10Speaker 3: Sir, can you ask your wife Hilary Clinton to be
- 39:13Speaker 3: a guest on Lady or No Lady?
- 39:16Speaker 8: Wow?
- 39:17Speaker 9: Wow, beautiful story.
- 39:18Speaker 5: Yeah, it's beautiful. And I didn't know you planned Lady
- 39:21Speaker 5: or No Lady for that long.
- 39:23Speaker 3: It was a dream I had ever since I was
- 39:25Speaker 3: a boy.
- 39:27Speaker 8: Wow?
- 39:28Speaker 2: Can I can we go?
- 39:29Speaker 1: Ask one last question before we go? Because I'm dining. No,
- 39:32Speaker 1: if you got to be you got to host any
- 39:36Speaker 1: show besides your rown, what would it be made up
- 39:38Speaker 1: or real?
- 39:39Speaker 7: Gosh?
- 39:40Speaker 8: Wow, wow, wow wow. You know I'm gonna go on here.
- 39:43Speaker 10: I cannot do you guys, mind if I because this
- 39:45Speaker 10: is a this is a this is a sensitive subject
- 39:48Speaker 10: for me.
- 39:48Speaker 6: You know, because you're really you're tearing up fully drip.
- 39:54Speaker 8: Nobody see my eyes and trip's going trip, drip. Nobody
- 39:57Speaker 8: see my eyes in fifteen years? You know they're so big. Yeah,
- 40:05Speaker 8: they're so big. You know.
- 40:07Speaker 5: Uh.
- 40:08Speaker 10: The thing that really made me want to do it,
- 40:10Speaker 10: and I know I said you made me want to
- 40:11Speaker 10: do it, and I'm not lying. You didn't make me
- 40:13Speaker 10: want to do it, but uh, there was this little
- 40:15Speaker 10: show called Double Dare you know what I'm saying?
- 40:18Speaker 8: Host Mark Summers you're not a good guy.
- 40:21Speaker 10: My good good, good guy, really good guy Mark Summers
- 40:25Speaker 10: and uh, you know, if you don't know the show.
- 40:27Speaker 8: He would bring kids and families on. They would answer questions.
- 40:29Speaker 10: If they got them wrong, they would go down and
- 40:31Speaker 10: pie each other in the face and do physical challenges
- 40:34Speaker 10: and then run the obstacle course. They called it the
- 40:36Speaker 10: Slobsticle course because Nickelodeon was a g like that and
- 40:40Speaker 10: I just love that growing up.
- 40:41Speaker 8: So you know, that's what made me want to do it. Man,
- 40:44Speaker 8: it made me. Uh, you know, we all have our inspiration.
- 40:47Speaker 8: That's what made me want to do it.
- 40:48Speaker 10: So if I if I ever had the chance to
- 40:51Speaker 10: host a nothing gate show besides My Gate Show, I would.
- 40:56Speaker 8: Host Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?
- 40:58Speaker 6: Oh different?
- 41:01Speaker 10: Oh yeah, yeah, I was just telling a story. There's
- 41:09Speaker 10: nobody so funny.
- 41:10Speaker 5: Double There was actually a huge, you know, inspiration for
- 41:13Speaker 5: Survivor Kids. It was just kind of like, what if
- 41:15Speaker 5: we did double there but in Kenya?
- 41:17Speaker 6: And wow, yeah it was fun. It was fun.
- 41:20Speaker 2: Would your dream show be a kid involving too or you.
- 41:23Speaker 6: Know, I was just gonna say that.
- 41:24Speaker 5: I think for me, I would love to do Bachelor Kids.
- 41:28Speaker 5: I feel like that would be really fun.
- 41:30Speaker 6: I mean, there's just such a huge job.
- 41:33Speaker 5: Yeah, kids, we could do Fear Factor kids. I feel
- 41:38Speaker 5: like that would be so fun, you know, so interesting
- 41:40Speaker 5: because I think when you're when you're a kid, the
- 41:43Speaker 5: world is so impressionable on you, and I just.
- 41:45Speaker 6: Want to see these kids become adults.
- 41:48Speaker 11: Can I ask you what happened or what was the
- 41:51Speaker 11: general vibe of your childhood?
- 41:54Speaker 5: So basically, my parents were missionaries in Kenya and it
- 42:00Speaker 5: wasn't great. My dad would go off a lot, and basically, so.
- 42:06Speaker 10: Your life in Kenya wasn't great. I'm sure you want
- 42:10Speaker 10: to say, no, my childhood was great. Okay, my childhood
- 42:18Speaker 10: is great. I want to take that back, thank you. Yeah,
- 42:21Speaker 10: my childhoods are great.
- 42:22Speaker 5: I had a great childhood, So yeah, all right, my
- 42:27Speaker 5: childhood is great.
- 42:29Speaker 7: I think my dream show that I would host would
- 42:31Speaker 7: be like a game show that's only stand up comics,
- 42:37Speaker 7: but there's no points and people just get to tell
- 42:42Speaker 7: their jokes and then leave it us before a live
- 42:45Speaker 7: studio audience.
- 42:46Speaker 3: So you want to be booked on a stand up show?
- 42:48Speaker 9: I would like that. That would be my goal. That
- 42:51Speaker 9: would be awesome. But until then, I love doing you
- 42:56Speaker 9: did that.
- 42:57Speaker 7: Because there's so many interesting people and it's so fun
- 43:02Speaker 7: and there's so much cool stuff and the bakers are amazing.
- 43:06Speaker 7: And this week we actually have world famous pastry chef
- 43:12Speaker 7: Jacqueline bonshitt.
- 43:13Speaker 5: Do made from bonche do for her.
- 43:20Speaker 6: Yeah, would she ever go to the store and buy something?
- 43:23Speaker 9: She's the judge, one of one of six. We also
- 43:26Speaker 9: have a sports analyst.
- 43:28Speaker 7: We have a really famous TikToker named Sassy Little Booger.
- 43:33Speaker 6: Oh, I love Sassy Little Booger. He does the funniest
- 43:36Speaker 6: French five faces.
- 43:37Speaker 11: He has the funniest p ov skits.
- 43:40Speaker 3: I've ever seen.
- 43:41Speaker 7: And then three of the try guys and so they're
- 43:44Speaker 7: gonna be on and it's gonna be so much fun,
- 43:46Speaker 7: so check it out.
- 43:47Speaker 9: But I'm also available for other stuff incredible.
- 43:50Speaker 11: Yeah, you know, if I had to host any other show, I.
- 43:55Speaker 3: Think it would be Saturday Night Live.
- 44:00Speaker 11: But I would never do it because that would mean
- 44:03Speaker 11: I'm taking one moment away from my own show. Lady
- 44:07Speaker 11: or no, Lady, I've hit my dream and there's nothing
- 44:10Speaker 11: else I want.
- 44:11Speaker 9: That's wow, And you'd only be able to host this
- 44:14Speaker 9: it out once.
- 44:15Speaker 8: They don't have to be one and done yeah, yes.
- 44:18Speaker 3: Exactly why I'd never give it up.
- 44:20Speaker 8: Would you have a host of men and no man show?
- 44:23Speaker 11: Oh yeah, I don't think that men fit into boxes,
- 44:26Speaker 11: and oh yeah, that's right.
- 44:28Speaker 2: I don't know how it would work.
- 44:29Speaker 11: Like I'm trying to wrap my head around a man
- 44:32Speaker 11: shaped box and I don't know.
- 44:36Speaker 3: I mean, I'd love to talk to you about it later,
- 44:38Speaker 3: but I don't. I'm gonna have to think about that one.
- 44:41Speaker 9: Well, so that illuminated something for me. These are not
- 44:43Speaker 9: large crates. These are shaped like the women.
- 44:47Speaker 2: Yes, so they're not like you.
- 44:50Speaker 8: They're more like yeah, old Egyptian coffege.
- 44:53Speaker 6: Box shaped to their bodies.
- 44:54Speaker 11: They're kind of like you know what a Barbie comes
- 44:56Speaker 11: in the plastic lining around it.
- 44:59Speaker 8: That's a box though, Yeah, that's a square box.
- 45:03Speaker 6: I guess it's a square box.
- 45:04Speaker 5: But inside of it, it's Barbie pressed against plastic.
- 45:08Speaker 6: Oh you mean that part?
- 45:09Speaker 8: Oh wow?
- 45:10Speaker 11: Yeah yeah, so it is pretty obvious when it's a
- 45:13Speaker 11: lady and when it's a jacket the box.
- 45:16Speaker 8: Yeah wow. Yeah.
- 45:19Speaker 6: But Bill Clinton got you this right.
- 45:21Speaker 3: Yeah, he doesn't talk about it.
- 45:23Speaker 8: Bunch.
- 45:23Speaker 3: You guys should tune in the Roku channel.
- 45:28Speaker 1: My dream show would be I'm very inspired by your work, Drip,
- 45:32Speaker 1: and I would do something a little similar but different,
- 45:35Speaker 1: where I would bring in these pet owners and before
- 45:40Speaker 1: they're about to snap off their pets little balls, I.
- 45:44Speaker 2: Say, do you sure you want to do that? And
- 45:47Speaker 2: we'll and we'll have fire coming from.
- 45:49Speaker 1: The ceiling and then we'll put them and then I'll
- 45:52Speaker 1: go and then we'll have a pa bring scissors near
- 45:56Speaker 1: their balls.
- 45:57Speaker 8: Yeah, and we'll say if.
- 45:58Speaker 1: You want to cut, if you want to take off
- 46:00Speaker 1: the balls of your pets, you gotta take off the.
- 46:02Speaker 8: Balls, are you? Yeah?
- 46:04Speaker 1: Tune in hopefully at the Roku channel. I have a
- 46:06Speaker 1: bitch next week.
- 46:08Speaker 8: Were were yo? Can I Can I be a guest
- 46:10Speaker 8: on your show? Yes?
- 46:12Speaker 2: We're keep those balls on those pets.
- 46:16Speaker 9: I would really love to be Oh.
