  for you guys is that Becky Jones is leaving social media after

  essentially being bullied off of her platform.

  TikTok star Becky Jones has announced that she's leaving

  social media as the negativity has become too much for her

  mental health. Becky is AUK based creator who

  first went viral in 2020 when she posted a silly video of
• 1:10
  herself making hot chocolate in a slow cooker.

  She has since amassed over 1.1 million followers, but her time
• 1:17
  online has been filled with just like really harsh criticism over

  her weight and how she basically doesn't care about getting
• 1:24
  smaller. I've decided to come off social
• 1:27
  media and I don't want you to think that this decision was
• 1:31
  made lightly or or that I'm not grateful for anyone's support
• 1:38
  because I am. I'm so grateful for the
• 1:42
  following that I've got and what I've built up and what we've
• 1:46
  built up. But the last few days I've been
• 1:49
  reminiscing and I've been reflecting and it's just not
• 1:54
  good for my mental health anymore.

  It's really affected me and I think deep down it has for a

  while now. It's just this app is just full
• 2:04
  of so much negativity. And I think I've always brushed
• 2:08
  it off and said, you know, you can't let other people bring you
• 2:11
  down, but they do get you down. And it's OK to admit that.

  It's OK to say, you know, it has got to me.

  But I don't want you to think that I'm like upset or well, I
• 2:23
  am upset and I am sad. But this will pass.

  And I think it's the right decision for me that I've made.

  You know, I've, I've come to this decision because, you know,
• 2:35
  who wants that effect in their life, who wants that effect in
• 2:39
  their mental health. And I just want to become the
• 2:41
  best version of myself and myself and I want to put me
• 2:45
  first. So Becky was not like part of
• 2:48
  the Welsh 5, which is like a group of tick talkers who are
• 2:51
  from Wales and I love them, but she like filmed with them a lot
• 2:54
  and they kind of I think took her under their wing a little
• 2:58
  bit. I think we will start to see
• 2:59
  this more and more. Like no matter how you feel

  about Becky, I know she's had a controversy or two.

  And I mean, like, who hasn't at this point on TikTok really?

  I think we will see this more and more though.

  Like the way that we have completely normalized saying the

  worst things imaginable to strangers on TikTok is scary.

  And I'm not talking like, you know, valid criticism or like

  holding people accountable for problematic behavior.

  Like I'm talking you post anything and if it gets any

  little bit of traction, just immediately criticism of every

  little thing you're doing, what you look like, how you said

  things, like everything. And Becky experienced that a

  lot. At one point, she said she feels

  like the most hated woman on TikTok.

  I think after five years, a lot of people who have built careers
• 3:48
  off of TikTok will start moving on.

  I think at some point it probably just stops being worth

  it when you're basically in like an emotionally abusive
• 3:58
  relationship with your job. And for creators who are outside

  of the US where the creator fund isn't as strong, like here in

  Australia, we don't even have the creator fund.

  So, you know, when you don't even have the, I guess, like

  monetization or like the monetary gain from it, Like at

  some point you must just be like, what is the point?

  And I imagine it would be really hard to walk away from something

  she's put so much like time and energy and effort into building

  a huge platform like that. Like people would kill to have

  over a million TikTok followers. I've seen some people theorize

  that she will come back eventually.

  But I think it's sad in general when any creator has to step

  back because of how much hate they get, unless it's like

  Jeffrey Star, unless they've done like actually unforgivable

  stuff. OK, the next word that I have

  for you guys Speaking of like online and bullying, there is

  this seven part series going viral on TikTok that is diving
• 4:55
  into Hailey Bieber's alleged obsession with Selena Gomez.

  So I'm I'm sure some of you guys have seen this.

  It literally exploded in like the last 24 hours.

  The original video is actually a YouTube video by creator
• 5:09
  Internet oddities. And when these videos started

  coming up on my for you page, I was like, I know this voice like

  this is not a TikTok creator whose voice is this?

  I cannot like I couldn't pinpoint it.

  Anyways, I do subscribe to Internet oddities or I did at
• 5:24
  some point. And I went and I found the video
• 5:26
  and I'd watched like the first, I don't know, quarter of it
• 5:29
  maybe at some point. So there seems to be quite a few
• 5:33
  accounts that are clipping this video and posting it as like
• 5:36
  this seven part quote UN quote series to like prove Haley
• 5:39
  Bieber's obsession with Selena. But it is not a seven part
• 5:42
  TikTok series. It is a YouTube video video that
• 5:45
  various accounts are clipping. The reason they're clipping it
• 5:48
  is because this comes off the back of the situation last week
• 5:52
  where Haley was allegedly caught liking a creator's video that
• 5:56
  shaded Selena Gomez. And when the creator called
• 5:59
  Haley out on TikTok, her Rep denied the claims.

  And then this was actually a follow up that I didn't get to
• 6:04
  say. Last week the creator shared the
• 6:07
  metadata proving that she didn't Photoshop it I guess.

  So now there's tons of people posting on TikTok being like Oh

  my God. I used to think that Selena
• 6:16
  Gomez dance were just like delusional and unhinged and now
• 6:20
  I feel like my mind is changing. And so now obviously Selena fans

  have taken this YouTube video and I don't know if this is like
• 6:27
  I'm actually interested. I would be so interested to know
• 6:30
  this if this is like a coordinated decision, you know,
• 6:34
  how like fandoms will have you know, discords or groups or
• 6:37
  whatever where they talk amongst themselves.

  I'm so interested to know if this was like a decision that

  they made collectively because like I said, there's several
• 6:43
  accounts that are posting this and it does contain some weird
• 6:46
  stuff this video like there are a lot of coincidences.

  However, I would also say that a lot of the coincidences that

  come up in this video are just because of the times and just
• 6:55
  because they both function in the same industry.

  And you know that's like the trendy thing to do with the

  time. So like they talk about how they

  you've got like cooking shows, like YouTube cooking shows or
• 7:04
  whatever. And it's like, yeah, well, that

  like is a thing that celebrities do when you're kind of like a
• 7:10
  lifestyle influencer or like, you know, whatever.

  Like that is just like an Ave. you can take.

  They also talk. There's also comparisons about,

  like, how they pose, like how like, Haley will like, quote, UN
• 7:20
  quote, like, copy Selena's poses.

  And like, I would argue that women our age in our early 30s

  are, you know, millennials. Like, we're doing the same poses
• 7:30
  all the time, too. Like, I don't know, she wore
• 7:33
  similar things or like, the exact same thing as Selena right
• 7:37
  after her. And again, I'm like, yeah.

  But like, I don't know, like, that was probably like the
• 7:41
  trendy style, the trendy top. I don't know.

  Maybe I'm giving it too much credit.

  I just feel like I'd, I'd, I do not believe that Hailey Bieber

  herself is like this. Like, that's just too obvious.

  Like I'd, I just don't believe. I can't even articulate this.

  I just don't believe that she is this like manipulative

  mastermind who is like copying Selena Gomez so shamelessly.

  Like, I just feel like that would just be so obvious.

  However, the one weird thing that I think a lot of people

  can't get over is that Selena got AG tattoo behind her ear for

  her sister Gracie, I guess. And then like a couple days

  later, Haley got like what looks like essentially the same

  tattoo. Haley was like, oh, it's to

  represent my pastor's daughter. And let me get into this now

  because interestingly, off the back of this like seven part

  series that's going viral on TikTok, creator Livy Smalls made

  a response video where she said that this particular series

  doesn't actually address something that's been very
• 8:45
  central to the Justin Bieber and Haley Bieber relationship, which

  is their church. So Libby suggests that Haley was
• 8:52
  kind of groomed to be there for Justin.

  They belonged to the same church, or eventually did, and
• 8:58
  we know that Justin and Selena were quite toxic for one another

  when they were together. So Livi theorizes that the

  church had a lot to do with Haley and Justin getting

  together. So yeah, Selena Gomez does have

  AG tattoo, and not long after she got that tattoo, Haley and

  Justin Bieber got matching G tattoos for their pastor's

  daughter. Now, they're not the only ones

  who have those tattoos. There are a lot of celebrities

  and athletes through like throughout the country,

  Chad Veach's daughter. But it wasn't just like, on a

  whim, Haley and Justin decided to get this G tattoo.

  No, it was very orchestrated. They didn't go to a tattoo

  parlor. They got tattooed in a hotel

  room in Switzerland while Justin was on tour, while his pastor

  was with him supervising the whole thing.

  Now, do you think it was their idea or you think it was his

  idea? And it just so happened to be

  matching with Selena? And then there was the story

  about Haley driving past Selena's house while she was in

  rehab, just cruising by her house with her pastor's wife.

  What are the odds it would be her Chad Beach's wife?

  And honestly, I hardly know anything about this church.

  Like it's definitely, I know that the church in Justin

  Bieber's life and like how it all relates to Oh my God, what's

  Anyways, like I know that all of that is like very important to

  pop culture, but for me it's like a pop culture blind spot.

  But what I do remember is that in Justin Bieber's seasons docu

  series from a few years ago, someone on his team, I think it

  was his manager, said at one point that they never have to

  worry about Justin anymore because he's with Haley and

  like, she takes care of him. And I remember back in the day

  thinking like, that is a huge red flag and a massive

  responsibility to place on Haley.

  So the running theory here, and I found this through Livie

  video, but it's it's all over Reddit that not that they were

  like arranged Haley and Justin, but that Justin was like heavily

  coerced into being with Haley. Like someone on Reddit said they

  believe that Justin's pastor quote likely has financial ties

  to the Baldwins, which is how this all happened because as we

  know, like Haley obviously was like a super fan of Justin like

  that. That is undisputed.

  the tides have turned on social media where people previously

  were kind of like, all right, like leave Haley alone.

  Like Selena fans are unhinged. And then now that narrative is

  switching already because of that one video where that

  creator was like, Haley liked my video and then she showed the

  metadata. People believe that.

  So that is like how this came about.

  And this video is, I assume, posted being posted by Selena

  fans who are basically trying to like further this narrative

  that's already kind of like in people's minds now, like these

  questions that are running through everyone's minds now

  where they're like, wait, maybe like Haley, what's the problem?

  Like I was, I've been defending her, but like, maybe the Selena

  fans were right. So now this these videos are

  being posted and it's confirming that for people.

  I'm going to be honest, when it comes to Haley and Selena, I

  Is there is like lesbian talk drama related to the fact that

  all of these women are like, if you are straight or bisexual or

  like, who are on the left have boycotted Jason Aldean will not

  Like you can listen to whoever. I think when you are as famous

  such a big platform, I do think you have to be careful what you

  what you are like indirectly promoting.

  People are boycotting Jason Aldean music because he is very

  pro and vocally voting against like everyone's rights except

  for his own. As a white man, you know, it's

  very very different. He is like anti everyone elses

  rights. And him and his wife Brittany

  Aldean went on like Instagram live or something.

  I saw this came up for me like days ago and somebody asked him,

  like, how do you feel about being MAGA or whatever?
