Why should we remain steadfast? Three Reasons:

1. Because of the certainty of future rewards.

2. Because of the consequences of present trials.

3. Because of the contribution of Divine grace.

How do we remain steadfast? Three Responses:

1. Receive and live by the Word of truth.

2. Anticipate temptation's internal and external deceptiveness.

3. Be loved by and love God.
