Hallowed Be Your Name // Matthew 6:9-13 // Trey Hayman
What does it mean to pray "hallowed be your name"? In this episode of New City Church's series on the Lord's Prayer, Pastor Trey Hayman unpacks Matthew 6:9. He looks at what God's name reveals about his character, what "hallowed" really means, and why taking God's name in vain is about far more than language. We don't make God holy, but we are called to represent him as he truly is. Pastor Trey names three temptations in prayer, to shrink God, use him, or replace him, and shows how God puts his name on his people. Learn more about New City Church in Nashville at newcitynash.com.
