- 0:02Speaker 1: Hey, my show sheet says Thursday. It's Friday today, isn't it?
- 0:05Speaker 2: Woo!
- 0:06Speaker 3: All day.
- 0:06Speaker 1: What a typo, Nick. Demerit.
- 0:10Speaker 4: Unless we went back in time.
- 0:12Speaker 5: It's Friday, October 16th, 2026. It's John Jay and Rich.
- 0:15Speaker 5: Call us at 877-937-1047. By the way, I went to
- 0:19Speaker 5: go see Ella Langley Wednesday night in Los Angeles.
- 0:24Speaker 6: Are you now an Ellis fella?
- 0:26Speaker 5: I am.
- 0:28Speaker 1: How was the show? She is amazing.
- 0:31Speaker 5: And I only knew, I listened to a bunch of
- 0:34Speaker 5: her albums before I went, or a bunch of her
- 0:35Speaker 5: music before I went to the concert. So I knew, obviously,
- 0:38Speaker 5: Choosing Texas pretty well, but a bunch of her other songs,
- 0:40Speaker 5: so it's now sounded familiar. And I was pretty close
- 0:43Speaker 5: to her, watching her. She's amazing. And then I had this, like, this, like,
- 0:48Speaker 5: debate in my head, just for fun. Okay, I made
- 0:51Speaker 5: a comparison. You know how they say comparison is a
- 0:53Speaker 5: thief of joy or something like that, right? Comparison's bad.
- 0:56Speaker 1: I've never heard that before, but that makes sense.
- 0:57Speaker 5: You don't want to compare stuff, but I had fun comparing,
- 0:59Speaker 5: because I was comparing... Her and Taylor Swift. Because to me,
- 1:05Speaker 5: she's incredible. Taylor Swift is incredible, too. So here's how
- 1:09Speaker 5: I compared them. I think Ella Langley is to Taylor
- 1:14Speaker 5: Swift what Prince.
- 1:16Speaker 1: Is to Michael Jackson. That's how I compared it.
- 1:19Speaker 6: Whoa.
- 1:19Speaker 5: I know. Because Michael Jackson, biggest thing in the world.
- 1:23Speaker 5: Taylor Swift, biggest thing in the world.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Prince.
- 1:26Speaker 5: Huge, but mad respect for musicians and mad respect for
- 1:30Speaker 5: the songwriting and lyrics and all that stuff, right?
- 1:32Speaker 1: He's my guy. And Ella Langley, holy smoke, has she
- 1:35Speaker 1: been through it.
- 1:36Speaker 7: But I feel like we haven't heard of Ella Langley enough.
- 1:42Speaker 1: You haven't.
- 1:42Speaker 4: You know what's funny?
- 1:43Speaker 7: Right, which is kind of proving my point. I feel
- 1:46Speaker 7: like she needs to be around for a little bit
- 1:49Speaker 7: longer and keep riding this wave that she's on.
- 1:51Speaker 4: Well, she's been around for a minute. She just had
- 1:53Speaker 4: a hit now.
- 1:53Speaker 1: In the country world, she has.
- 1:55Speaker 6: So I think she's just recently transitioned to mainstream. And
- 1:57Speaker 6: I actually had, last night in the car with my husband,
- 2:00Speaker 6: we were talking about I really hope it's Miley Cyrus
- 2:03Speaker 6: for the Superbowl halftime show. And I'm like, so confused
- 2:06Speaker 6: why we don't have the announcement just yet. And he's like,
- 2:10Speaker 6: I like Miley can't do it. And I was like,
- 2:12Speaker 6: what are you talking about? He's like, like, what songs
- 2:14Speaker 6: does Miley have?
- 2:15Speaker 1: I'm like, Oh my gosh. I was like, party in
- 2:17Speaker 1: the USA. He's like, that's it. I'm like, no, I
- 2:19Speaker 1: was like wrecking ball, the.
- 2:20Speaker 4: Entire bangers album.
- 2:22Speaker 6: Like she could go on and like so much more
- 2:24Speaker 6: than that. But then he said Ella Langley. And I said,
- 2:27Speaker 6: I don't think Ella Langley has the library yet.
- 2:32Speaker 1: That is mass appeal enough.
- 2:34Speaker 6: Because at this point in the country world, yes, she
- 2:37Speaker 6: has been around. But like for the rest, for everyone else,
- 2:40Speaker 6: Choosing Texas is kind of.
- 2:42Speaker 1: It so far.
- 2:43Speaker 5: Well, she had a couple other songs that came out
- 2:45Speaker 5: and they made it all the way to number two
- 2:47Speaker 5: on Billboard and they couldn't make it to number one
- 2:48Speaker 5: because of Choosing Texas.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Because it was like, hold on.
- 2:51Speaker 5: I went on a deep dive on her and I
- 2:53Speaker 5: started watching YouTube videos on her. I watched a whole
- 2:56Speaker 5: interview with her and Theo Vaughn after I watched. It's like,
- 2:58Speaker 5: she's fantastic. She's something else, man. But when you talk
- 3:01Speaker 5: about the Prince thing, but Peyton, Prince has been around
- 3:03Speaker 5: for 40 years. And so he was 40 years from now.
- 3:07Speaker 4: Yeah, I would love to see if this would still
- 3:09Speaker 4: hold up.
- 3:09Speaker 5: Plus, you think about people know Prince because of Purple Rain.
- 3:12Speaker 5: People are going to know her because of Dandelion. That's
- 3:14Speaker 5: her Purple Rain. I'm telling you guys, I know what
- 3:16Speaker 5: I'm talking about.
- 3:18Speaker 1: I know music. There's one thing I know is music
- 3:20Speaker 1: and hit songs.
- 3:20Speaker 4: And I think really for Ella Langle, she's made country
- 3:24Speaker 4: songs so mainstream that other country bands are going to
- 3:27Speaker 4: come up and be popular because of her, which is big, too.
- 3:30Speaker 4: That's a Taylor Swift effect, too. So she's got some
- 3:33Speaker 4: juice on her. And they haven't done a country Super
- 3:35Speaker 4: Bowl in a long time.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Have they ever done a country Super Bowl?
- 3:37Speaker 4: Not that I can think of. But if you did, like,
- 3:39Speaker 4: let's say Morgan Wallen and Ella Langley, who have a
- 3:41Speaker 4: song together, is a Super Bowl halftime show. Pretty big.
- 3:44Speaker 4: Pretty America.
- 3:45Speaker 1: She has a song with Big X to plug.
- 3:47Speaker 4: That's awesome. I know, I mean, he's just a rapper.
- 3:50Speaker 1: He's a rapper.
- 3:51Speaker 7: But like, I mean, I think that's great. I love
- 3:52Speaker 7: it when artists, I mean, she is hot right now.
- 3:55Speaker 7: There is no denying that. But I am excited to
- 3:57Speaker 7: see how long it lasts.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Why have they not done a Super Bowl? A country
- 4:01Speaker 1: Super Bowl? No, no, no. Are you sure?
- 4:04Speaker 4: It would be all over the place.
- 4:05Speaker 1: I just paused for a second.
- 4:07Speaker 5: I said, are you sure, comma, that this is the
- 4:09Speaker 5: time frame where they let us know who the Super
- 4:11Speaker 5: Bowl artist is?
- 4:12Speaker 6: Yeah, like very, very much so. It's always been end
- 4:15Speaker 6: of September through mid-October.
- 4:18Speaker 4: So that would be like any day now. Because whoever
- 4:21Speaker 4: that is has to get ready for a show that's
- 4:23Speaker 4: the biggest show in the history of the world in
- 4:25Speaker 4: about a month and a half, two months.
- 4:26Speaker 6: And just because we don't know doesn't mean they haven't
- 4:29Speaker 6: chosen it yet. They just haven't made the announcement.
- 4:32Speaker 5: Plus, if you think about it, when you say that
- 4:33Speaker 5: you don't know if they'll have the library long enough,
- 4:35Speaker 5: it's usually a 14-minute break.
- 4:37Speaker 1: So she could do Choose in Texas twice.
- 4:40Speaker 4: That would be a first.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Lauren, what's up? You're on the air. Good morning.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Hi, good morning. Yeah, so I love your guys' topic
- 4:48Speaker 2: in regards to Ella Langley. I was just talking to
- 4:50Speaker 2: my coworker about this. I think the NFL... This would
- 4:53Speaker 2: be such a great idea if they did have Ella Langley,
- 4:56Speaker 2: maybe not be the main performer or maybe like just
- 4:58Speaker 2: a guest performer. But, you know, with so much controversy
- 5:01Speaker 2: last year in regards to country needs to be, you know,
- 5:04Speaker 2: in the halftime show. She is such a good actor
- 5:08Speaker 2: right now because she's pulling so many people that don't
- 5:10Speaker 2: listen to country into country. Like I'm telling her I'm
- 5:14Speaker 2: hearing her on like hip hop radio station, you know?
- 5:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:17Speaker 6: So I just looked it up, and apparently the only
- 5:20Speaker 6: fully country-themed halftime show was in 1994, and they actually
- 5:24Speaker 6: titled it Rockin' Country Sunday, and it was Clint Black,
- 5:28Speaker 6: Tonya Tucker, Travis Tritt, and the Judds. And then in 2003,
- 5:32Speaker 6: Shania Twain co-headlined that with No Doubt and Sting.
- 5:37Speaker 1: My wife made comparisons of Ella Langley to Shania Twain.
- 5:40Speaker 4: I can see that.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Honestly, I really didn't even listen to country until recently,
- 5:45Speaker 2: and now I'm just... I'm sold. Now I'm learning about
- 5:47Speaker 2: Morgan Wallen. And I'm just saying that she would probably
- 5:50Speaker 2: convert a lot of people to country because it's phenomenal music.
- 5:53Speaker 4: Now that I'm learning more about it. The only reason
- 5:55Speaker 4: I think they won't this time is because it's in LA.
- 5:57Speaker 4: If it was a Nashville Superbowl.
- 5:59Speaker 1: For sure. They would go all country. I saw Ella
- 6:01Speaker 1: Langley in LA. Yeah. Two shows sold out. Doesn't surprise me. Thanks, Lauren.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Thanks for listening.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Maybe not like the main headliner, but if she was
- 6:09Speaker 2: even just do a small skit in it, I bet
- 6:11Speaker 2: she's so smart for the NFL just to bring everybody together,
- 6:14Speaker 2: you know? So that's just my opinion.
- 6:16Speaker 6: I like when they do, when they like, they did
- 6:19Speaker 6: that rock and country and it was a bunch of
- 6:21Speaker 6: different artists. I like when they do like an ensemble
- 6:23Speaker 6: of artists. I think then everyone gets a little.
- 6:26Speaker 4: Yeah, they had what the Chili Peppers and Bruno Mars
- 6:28Speaker 4: and Beyonce and stuff like that.
- 6:29Speaker 1: It was kind of cool.
- 6:29Speaker 5: I like that because then you get good memes. Like
- 6:33Speaker 5: Chris Martin meme from that Super Bowl montage.
- 6:35Speaker 1: He looked like he didn't belong. Lauren, thanks for calling in. Lauren,
- 6:38Speaker 1: thank you for listening.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Thank you. Have a great day.
- 6:41Speaker 6: Bye.
- 6:41Speaker 5: By the way, Ella Langley, again, her Dandelion album, the
- 6:44Speaker 5: newest album, every song from that album is fantastic.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Every song.
- 6:49Speaker 5: You know how you listen to some of your favorite
- 6:50Speaker 5: artists and you're like, oh, there's one good song on
- 6:51Speaker 5: this album and there's two. Every freaking song on her
- 6:54Speaker 5: album is great. So, Again, I know music.
- 6:58Speaker 4: Where's your merch?
- 6:59Speaker 6: I thought you were coming in with Ella Langley merch today.
- 7:01Speaker 5: I was going to, you know, and then I realized
- 7:03Speaker 5: that the last time I bought a Drake shirt and
- 7:06Speaker 5: I realized I never wear it. During the Drake show,
- 7:10Speaker 5: which by the way, didn't Drake just do something with
- 7:11Speaker 5: Ella Langley, a cover of it?
- 7:12Speaker 7: Well, he just did like a remix to Cheese in Texas.
- 7:16Speaker 4: It was him and Don.
- 7:16Speaker 5: Toliver, I think. So I bought a Drake t-shirt and
- 7:19Speaker 5: I never wear it. And I realized concert merch most
- 7:22Speaker 5: of the time is like different quality.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Lots of words.
- 7:26Speaker 5: So there I was like, I was going to do it.
- 7:28Speaker 5: And then honestly, the booth was a little too far
- 7:31Speaker 5: away from me when I was leaving. Cause I didn't
- 7:33Speaker 5: want to do it on the way in. I was
- 7:35Speaker 5: going to do it on the way out. And while
- 7:36Speaker 5: I was on the way out waiting for the Uber,
- 7:37Speaker 5: I was standing there. I was like, there should be
- 7:39Speaker 5: selling merch right here, right now. I would buy something
- 7:41Speaker 5: if it was right here. But it was a little
- 7:43Speaker 5: off and there were so many people leaving that I
- 7:45Speaker 5: didn't want to get lost from my group.
- 7:47Speaker 1: So I didn't go. Fair enough.
- 7:48Speaker 5: You were choosing Uber. We need a contestant from it
- 7:53Speaker 5: to win it.
- 7:55Speaker 1: 877-937-1047.
- 7:55Speaker 5: But I've got to tell you this, though. We were
- 7:58Speaker 5: talking about stressful hobbies the other day. And one of
- 8:02Speaker 5: the stressful hobbies... was like raising chickens, right? And Dylan,
- 8:06Speaker 5: her family raises chickens. So I was with some people
- 8:10Speaker 5: this weekend that just blew my mind. They have two
- 8:12Speaker 5: little kids and they decided to get some chickens. So
- 8:15Speaker 5: this must be the trend too, because I think Dylan
- 8:17Speaker 5: said this too. So they built a chicken coop in
- 8:20Speaker 5: the backyard that looks just like their house.
- 8:22Speaker 1: That's like the thing, right?
- 8:23Speaker 5: You get a coop that looks like a house and
- 8:25Speaker 5: then you buy these chickens, baby chicks, and they send
- 8:28Speaker 5: them to you.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Like in a little box. So you get the little chicks.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Like in the mail?
- 8:33Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Really? Yeah.
- 8:35Speaker 5: And they're like alive, like a box. And you open
- 8:37Speaker 5: it up and there's a chicken in there. And so
- 8:38Speaker 5: they got four chicks. And one of the chicks arrived.
- 8:43Speaker 5: Now keep in mind, what are these, a couple days old?
- 8:46Speaker 5: One of the chicks arrived with a broken leg.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Oh, poor baby. Poor baby.
- 8:51Speaker 5: So I would be like, I don't know what really
- 8:53Speaker 5: to do with this chick. They took the chick to
- 8:55Speaker 5: the vet. So they took like a five-day-old chick.
- 8:58Speaker 1: To the vet. Put in the cast?
- 8:58Speaker 5: Put in the cast.
- 8:58Speaker 1: 600 bucks, put it in a cast.
- 9:01Speaker 4: Oh my gosh.
- 9:01Speaker 1: I have a picture.
- 9:02Speaker 5: I said, I need this picture. I have a picture
- 9:04Speaker 5: of a baby chick with a cast. It is the
- 9:07Speaker 5: weirdest thing. And it's one of those things where you
- 9:09Speaker 5: sit there and you kind of go, I mean, I'm
- 9:11Speaker 5: not a, I would never put the chick down.
- 9:13Speaker 1: I wouldn't know how to do that. Right. But to
- 9:15Speaker 1: take it $ 600, the chick costs five bucks.
- 9:19Speaker 4: That's a major.
- 9:19Speaker 5: You can go to a feed store and Gilbert probably
- 9:21Speaker 5: get it for 50 cents, but I'm sure you gotta
- 9:24Speaker 5: be certain kind of chick. But I was like, that
- 9:25Speaker 5: is one of the craziest things when you, I understand.
- 9:29Speaker 5: Once you open the box and you got the chick
- 9:31Speaker 5: and you got your little kids looking at the chick
- 9:32Speaker 5: and they're playing with.
- 9:33Speaker 1: It and it's a beautiful chick, you just can't go.
- 9:34Speaker 6: Now it's part of your family.
- 9:35Speaker 1: You just can't let it go in the backyard and
- 9:36Speaker 1: let a coyote get it. Yeah. But now you got
- 9:39Speaker 1: to go spend 600 bucks to put the chick in
- 9:40Speaker 1: a cast. What a trip. I'll post the picture in
- 9:43Speaker 1: a little bit.
- 9:44Speaker 6: But how cute, like a little tiny chick cast.
- 9:47Speaker 4: I'm sure it is adorable.
- 9:48Speaker 5: Plus, I think that we all think of chickens like
- 9:51Speaker 5: the chickens we know, chickens that they eat, but there's a.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Different kind of chicken.
- 9:54Speaker 4: They're an egg-laying chicken, right?
- 9:56Speaker 1: Is that what they are? I'm the chicken expert on
- 9:58Speaker 1: my shirt. You brought it up.
- 10:01Speaker 6: Wait, so like the different kind of chickens that you're
- 10:03Speaker 6: talking about, are they like bigger or smaller?
- 10:05Speaker 5: Well, I look at the picture of the chick that
- 10:07Speaker 5: they sent me. It's like a little brown chick. It's
- 10:09Speaker 5: not brown.
- 10:10Speaker 1: It's like a, I don't know what kind of chicken
- 10:12Speaker 1: it is, but let me see. Let me see. Hey, Dylan,
- 10:15Speaker 1: your chickens, they're just not normal chickens, right? Like the
- 10:17Speaker 1: kind we eat.
- 10:24Speaker 4: Yeah, they're normal.
- 10:25Speaker 1: I mean, you could eat them. They're more like for laying. Right,
- 10:29Speaker 1: but do they look like normal chickens?
- 10:31Speaker 5: Yeah, they look normal.
- 10:32Speaker 1: They're like a normal chicken? You see cock-a-doodle-doo doing around it? Well,
- 10:35Speaker 1: they don't cock-a-doodle-doo.
- 10:36Speaker 2: That would be the rooster, but they are head.
- 10:39Speaker 1: They look normal, and we got them from a vet.
- 10:41Speaker 2: We didn't get the mail to us, but we picked
- 10:42Speaker 2: them up.
- 10:43Speaker 1: They're like one day.
- 10:44Speaker 5: Old, little puff balls.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Would you take them to the vet if they were sick?
- 10:49Speaker 5: Uh-huh.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Yeah, we did have one, actually, that.
- 10:53Speaker 4: was having a little bit of a health scare her
- 10:54Speaker 4: name was audrey.
- 10:55Speaker 1: And there is chicken vet it's actually very expensive to
- 10:58Speaker 1: get a chicken.
- 10:59Speaker 5: Looked out of the vet which is crazy i bet
- 11:02Speaker 5: i bet i'm trying to i'm gonna i'm gonna i'm
- 11:04Speaker 5: on a text exchange called ellis fellas we all know
- 11:08Speaker 5: because we all went to that um anyway we're gonna
- 11:12Speaker 5: play minute to minute oh let me find oh look
- 11:14Speaker 5: here's the chick with the broken leg.
- 11:16Speaker 1: Can you see the cast? Yeah, that'd be hard to sign,
- 11:19Speaker 1: that cast. I know, I know.
- 11:21Speaker 6: That looks like literally like tape and some styrofoam.
- 11:24Speaker 2: 600 dollars, please.
- 11:25Speaker 1: The vet was probably like, how do I make a cast?
- 11:27Speaker 5: I know.
- 11:27Speaker 1: And the vet was like, that'll be 600 dollars. Anyway, okay,
- 11:32Speaker 1: minute to window. Let's see. Kristen, good morning.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Good morning.
- 11:37Speaker 1: We're about to hear you right now. What part of town?
- 11:41Speaker 3: I'm in Phoenix.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Tell us a fun fact about you, Kristen.
- 11:46Speaker 3: A fun fact.
- 11:47Speaker 1: A fun.
- 11:50Speaker 2: Fact. Oh, I just signed up to do the High
- 11:56Speaker 2: Rocks for my birthday in February.
- 12:00Speaker 5: Yes.
- 12:01Speaker 3: It's like a fitness race type thing.
- 12:06Speaker 1: That's crazy.
- 12:06Speaker 5: Are you in shape already or now are you stressed
- 12:09Speaker 5: that you have to get in shape for that in February?
- 12:12Speaker 3: Let's say we're halfway there.
- 12:13Speaker 1: That's good.
- 12:14Speaker 4: That's a good start.
- 12:16Speaker 5: That's a crazy event, I think. But okay, let's go.
- 12:18Speaker 5: Hopefully you get $ 1, 000 of Pat Hickey's money.
- 12:20Speaker 3: John Jay and Rich have $ 1, 000 cash for you from Peoria.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Ford right now.
- 12:25Speaker 5: Minute to win it.

- 12:29Speaker 4: 60 seconds, 10 questions. You rock these and you get $ 1, 000.
- 12:34Speaker 4: I believe in you. Let's go. What vitamin are oranges
- 12:39Speaker 4: especially known for containing?
- 12:42Speaker 3: Vitamin C.
- 12:43Speaker 4: What vegetable is most commonly used to make dill pickles?
- 12:48Speaker 2: Cucumber.
- 12:49Speaker 4: What body part contains most of your taste buds?
- 12:54Speaker 7: Your tongue.
- 12:56Speaker 4: A tadpole can grow into what amphibian that croaks?
- 13:01Speaker 3: A frog.
- 13:02Speaker 4: What rapper had a record-breaking number one hit with Old
- 13:06Speaker 4: Town Road? Oh, shoot.
- 13:10Speaker 3: I know this one.
- 13:12Speaker 6: Um, Taboosia?
- 13:14Speaker 7: No. Ooh.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 13:20Speaker 4: Lil Nas X.
- 13:22Speaker 3: Oh, wait, is it?
- 13:25Speaker 7: Are we allowed to skip?
- 13:26Speaker 3: We can't skip, sorry.
- 13:27Speaker 1: You cannot skip, but you're already out of time, and
- 13:29Speaker 1: you got it wrong.
- 13:30Speaker 5: So we're going to set you up, though, with Del
- 13:31Speaker 5: Taco gift card, Kristen, which is perfect for training for Hydrox.
- 13:35Speaker 1: That little extra boost.
- 13:36Speaker 2: We need a cheat day.
- 13:41Speaker 3: That's hilarious.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Thank you, guys. That was awesome. Thanks, Kristen. Hold on
- 13:44Speaker 1: a second.
- 13:45Speaker 5: Someone just texted, said, when I was talking about the chicken,
- 13:47Speaker 5: my baby chick with the broken leg, said, that's.
- 13:49Speaker 1: How you get chicken nuggets. I posted on my Instagram,
- 13:54Speaker 1: John J. Van S.
- 13:56Speaker 5: the baby chick with the cast, so you can see it.
- 13:59Speaker 5: Got a text this morning and asked her to come
- 14:04Speaker 5: on the air. She's going to tell us a story,
- 14:07Speaker 5: but I also think it's a great idea to get into.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Amy. Amy. Good morning. What was your text about? Hi, guys. Hi,
- 14:11Speaker 1: good morning.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Good morning.
- 14:13Speaker 3: First world problems.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:16Speaker 3: So I am so blessed. My daughter's a hairdresser. And
- 14:20Speaker 3: I get a wash and blowout every three to four days.
- 14:23Speaker 3: And she is out of town, which leads me to
- 14:25Speaker 3: my first world problem. I had to wash my own hair.
- 14:28Speaker 3: I had to use my husband's basic shampoo. I have
- 14:33Speaker 3: no product. I had to comb my hair and put
- 14:35Speaker 3: it in a braid.
- 14:36Speaker 5: And it's awful.
- 14:39Speaker 4: I had to wash my own hair. That's her first
- 14:41Speaker 4: world problem.
- 14:45Speaker 1: How long is your daughter out of town for?
- 14:49Speaker 3: She's back on Sunday, so Monday, hopefully, I'll be back.
- 14:53Speaker 4: Do you want to hide out until then?
- 14:55Speaker 1: You can't just stay inside. Just put a hat on.
- 14:57Speaker 3: I mean, it's in a bun, you know, when you
- 15:00Speaker 3: have bad hair days, it's in a braid or a bun. So, unfortunately,
- 15:03Speaker 3: that will be me for the next couple of days.
- 15:05Speaker 1: All right, so we should do a quick round of
- 15:08Speaker 1: your first world problem. That's funny.
- 15:10Speaker 5: Amy, because your daughter is a hairdresser, she's out of town,
- 15:13Speaker 5: you have to do your own hair.
- 15:15Speaker 1: First world problem.
- 15:16Speaker 7: Yes.
- 15:17Speaker 1: All right, thanks, Amy. We're going to kick it off. 877-937-1047.
- 15:21Speaker 1: What are some of the other prizes we have to
- 15:22Speaker 1: give away? State Fair? What do we got?
- 15:25Speaker 4: Yeah, we got Wicked Ball.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Oh, Wicked Ball, yeah, yeah.
- 15:27Speaker 5: Yeah, Wicked Ball tickets.
- 15:28Speaker 1: We've got tickets to the Fastball Comedy Festival. Oh, with
- 15:32Speaker 1: Dave Chappelle? With Dave Chappelle.
- 15:33Speaker 5: All right, let's hear about your first world problem.
- 15:39Speaker 1: 877-937-1047. I have one right now. Oh, what is it? Crazy.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Mine's first world and unrelatable.
- 15:46Speaker 7: Um.
- 15:47Speaker 1: I'm currently driving a Ferrari.
- 15:55Speaker 5: I drove a Ferrari in this morning. So we had
- 15:57Speaker 5: this big charity event tomorrow. It's called cars and canines.
- 15:59Speaker 5: It's tomorrow morning at 8.
- 16:00Speaker 7: AM.
- 16:00Speaker 5: It's a deep pet hotel in Scottsdale. There's going to
- 16:02Speaker 5: be Ferraris, Lamborghinis, all kinds of like Rolls Royces and
- 16:05Speaker 5: a bunch of dog. I think there's 12 dog rescues
- 16:07Speaker 5: will be set up and it's beautiful. Weather's going to
- 16:09Speaker 5: be great. It's gonna be a great event. And so
- 16:11Speaker 5: they put me in a fancy car. To help promote
- 16:14Speaker 5: the event.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Right.
- 16:16Speaker 5: So I was in a Rolls Royce yesterday and I went,
- 16:18Speaker 5: I dropped it off and I picked up this Ferrari today,
- 16:20Speaker 5: which is, I barely fit in it. And I had
- 16:21Speaker 5: to get so low to the ground to get in
- 16:23Speaker 5: this car. So this morning, a couple of first world
- 16:26Speaker 5: problems involving the Ferrari. One, I had to put my
- 16:30Speaker 5: workout bag, my backpack and Kyle's birthday present. In the
- 16:34Speaker 5: front seat was so hard to get into with those
- 16:36Speaker 5: three things. Because I don't know where the trunk is.
- 16:38Speaker 5: I have to put it in the front seat. Then
- 16:39Speaker 5: I'm driving in this morning, and somebody honks at me
- 16:42Speaker 5: coming in, right? So they honk.
- 16:44Speaker 1: So I do, and I wave, right? Yeah, nice to
- 16:47Speaker 1: see you. In a Ferrari.
- 16:47Speaker 5: Because you're in a Ferrari. And then another person honks
- 16:51Speaker 5: at me. And I get to a red light and
- 16:52Speaker 5: a guy in a truck pulls up next to me
- 16:54Speaker 5: and rolls down the window. And he's like, hey, really
- 16:56Speaker 5: cool car.
- 16:57Speaker 1: I go, thanks. He goes, your taillight's out.
- 17:00Speaker 5: No.
- 17:01Speaker 1: And I'm like, oh, no. He goes, yeah, man, the
- 17:02Speaker 1: cops are going to have a field day with you.
- 17:04Speaker 1: And I'm like, yeah, I guess you're right.
- 17:06Speaker 4: Good morning.
- 17:07Speaker 7: I know.
- 17:07Speaker 5: And I was like, okay, I got to get to
- 17:08Speaker 5: the radio station as soon as possible so I don't
- 17:11Speaker 5: get pulled over. So now I have to go to
- 17:14Speaker 5: the dealership today and trade in the Ferrari and pick
- 17:15Speaker 5: up something else.
- 17:17Speaker 1: That's my first world problem.
- 17:18Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 17:19Speaker 1: I don't know if anybody's going to top that one.
- 17:20Speaker 1: They're going to put me in some G-wagons. They're going
- 17:23Speaker 1: to put me.
- 17:24Speaker 4: In a G-wagon.
- 17:25Speaker 1: I told you to get.
- 17:26Speaker 4: I want to ride in the G-wagon.
- 17:27Speaker 5: Julio, Julio, what's your first world problem?
- 17:32Speaker 1: Hey, well, it's not me.
- 17:33Speaker 2: It's... So my mother-in-law cleans homes and she broke her
- 17:38Speaker 2: leg coming out of church a few months ago.
- 17:43Speaker 1: And all her clients keep calling her like, when are
- 17:45Speaker 1: you coming back? When are you coming back? She had
- 17:47Speaker 1: to get surgery. It was like a really bad break.
- 17:50Speaker 1: And they're just like constantly like trying to get her
- 17:53Speaker 1: to go back to clean their home because they need
- 17:55Speaker 1: someone to vacuum and clean their home for them. Well,
- 17:58Speaker 1: that's not a first-word problem. That sounds terrible. Oh, for them.
- 18:01Speaker 1: I thought for them. It's not for your mother-in-law.
- 18:05Speaker 5: I'm thinking about how terrible it is for your mother-in-law.
- 18:10Speaker 1: They need to go clean her house.
- 18:12Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Yes, exactly. Julio, you pick. You want Wicked Ball? You
- 18:17Speaker 1: want Dave Chappelle? What do you want? Dave Chappelle. You
- 18:22Speaker 1: got to take your mother-in-law, though. Sure, yes. All right,
- 18:26Speaker 1: hold on a line. Thanks for listening. Hold on a line.
