- 0:01Hey everybody, welcome to the good morning from the Chicken
- 0:04Coop podcast. My name is Kim Johnson and I am
- 0:07a mastermindset coach, creative strategist and also happen to be
- 0:10a farmer. This is my chicken coop and I
- 0:12come out here every day to record a podcast to teach
- 0:16distinctions, possibilities, new ways of thinking and.
- 0:28Hey everybody, good morning. So we've all heard the phrase
- 0:32that, you know, do a bunch of small things and they all add
- 0:35up. And most of us agree with that.
- 0:37But I don't think we understand the impact that they have on us,
- 0:42those things that we that irritate us, the things that we
- 0:45tolerate. You know, there's a Buddhist
- 0:48quote. I have no idea who said it, but
- 0:51I've heard it a million times through Buddhism that if you
- 0:53don't think small things matter, spend an evening with a mosquito
- 0:58in your tent. And boy is that an
- 1:02understatement. If we have bugs, we have things
- 1:05here called No Seams and it's a made-up name.
- 1:08It's really something else. But they call them No Seams
- 1:10because you can't see them, but you feel them and they bite
- 1:13really hard. And something so small can have
- 1:16such a huge impact when they are out and it's dawn and dusk that
- 1:21they are out. It's like you see everyone go
- 1:24inside you. You can smell in the air all the
- 1:28herbs and, and you know, sprays that people are using to try to
- 1:33keep them off of them. But here's the thing with these
- 1:35things, nothing, nothing helps them.
- 1:37They've come on you anyway. You have to have your clothes
- 1:39on. And even when you have all your
- 1:41clothes piled on top of you, long sleeves, hats, and you know
- 1:44you're covered up, they find a way to get in your ears.
- 1:47They go to your ears. It's it's insane how committed
- 1:50they are to their outcome.
