- 1:42Speaker 3: Hey, Misa, Takayama.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Did you know that China and Japana actually a different country.
- 1:50Speaker 1: So I have a little game here is it China
- 1:52Speaker 1: or is it Japan?
- 1:53Speaker 4: Oh?
- 1:54Speaker 1: Okay, because there are two different countries.
- 1:55Speaker 3: You got really all right?
- 1:58Speaker 1: So this first story, this company is selling its human
- 2:02Speaker 1: washing machine that became popular at this expo. The machine
- 2:07Speaker 1: is a capsule. This is like something that Menace would want.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Remember he wanted that chair so he would like stand
- 2:12Speaker 1: him up. Yeah, you know for old people.
- 2:14Speaker 5: Uh huh, people who.
- 2:18Speaker 1: You've never seen one of them. Now every furniture you
- 2:20Speaker 1: haven't seen that for Yeah, you just stand up. It's
- 2:27Speaker 1: just like but he wanted this as an able bodied person.
- 2:30Speaker 5: And a place called Living Spaces offered me one, but
- 2:33Speaker 5: I just didn't have the space for it.
- 2:34Speaker 3: So anyway, this.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Machine, it's a capsule that people you lie down in
- 2:37Speaker 1: it and you get washed by tiny bubbles in a
- 2:41Speaker 1: misshower for about fifteen minutes. So it's like a it's
- 2:44Speaker 1: a it's like a dishwasher, but for a person that
- 2:46Speaker 1: it costs around four hundred thousand dollars. This this one
- 2:51Speaker 1: hotel already bought one to offer to guess it's this
- 2:54Speaker 1: China or Japan.
- 2:56Speaker 5: I'm guessing it's Japan.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Yeah, this Japan sounds very japan like Japan. Well, you
- 3:02Speaker 1: guys are right, it's Japan. I think I could. I
- 3:08Speaker 1: can offer them a lower price.
- 3:10Speaker 3: Yeah right, half a million dollars.
- 3:11Speaker 5: Yeah, dude, I'll scrub somebody first, right.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Is it? Is it China or is it Japan? This
- 3:18Speaker 1: woman she won this metal for a wilderness survival competition,
- 3:24Speaker 1: and she lost weight along the way. She not only
- 3:27Speaker 1: ate high protein food like carbs and sea urchin, she
- 3:31Speaker 1: also skinned and ate about fifty rats.
- 3:35Speaker 6: Wow.
- 3:39Speaker 1: She endured heat over one hundred degrees, suffered from sunburned skin,
- 3:43Speaker 1: rough hands, and feet covered in scars from the insect bites.
- 3:48Speaker 1: And I guess there are two people who are still
- 3:50Speaker 1: competing the win. But yeah, she she she ate fifty
- 3:54Speaker 1: rats in this wilderness survival challenge and lost thirty pounds lucky.
- 3:59Speaker 3: Is it?
- 4:00Speaker 1: Is it China or is it Japan?
- 4:02Speaker 7: Doesn't have to be a world in his challenge? If
- 4:04Speaker 7: it's China, Wow, not cool.
- 4:08Speaker 3: I'm gonna say Japan Japan because they have very very
- 4:12Speaker 3: interesting competitions, that's.
- 4:14Speaker 1: True, but I think they're more like the TV shows
- 4:17Speaker 1: and stuff. Yeah, those competitions are more funny, which is
- 4:20Speaker 1: the one that's still Hotsa, the one where they had
- 4:22Speaker 1: the twe but the cockroaches in between their each side.
- 4:25Speaker 1: There's people on each side trying to blow the cockroach
- 4:27Speaker 1: into the mouth of the other person.
- 4:29Speaker 3: That was that was China. Pick enough prize for that.
- 4:31Speaker 5: You gotta do that on the show.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Yeah, we could put in China. I think this is
- 4:35Speaker 1: this lacks whimsy that Japan would have. All right, so China, Japan, China, China, China, China,
- 4:42Speaker 1: nuclear China, nuclear China, China. The answer is China.
- 4:47Speaker 3: Yeah, there you go.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Is it China or is it really gets in our
- 4:53Speaker 1: our daily mentions of Japan?
- 4:54Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 4:55Speaker 1: Quite well, yeah, people just again, you know that's a
- 4:59Speaker 1: there's there's a difference. Oh really yeah, all right, oh yeah,
- 5:04Speaker 1: all right, more, all right, more Woodies Show's comet up next.

- 6:10Speaker 1: you listen, because you love it.
- 6:12Speaker 3: Listen as long as you're listening, this is the show.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Eight seven four text over to two two nine eight seven.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Got an after hours voicemail to UH to share with you.
- 6:24Speaker 3: I'd mentioned on the show.
- 6:26Speaker 1: We were talking about dugans, and you know Greg's got
- 6:30Speaker 1: a dog, Menaces a couple of dogs, and Sammy's got
- 6:33Speaker 1: her dog. You've got your dog. Morgan, big boy tongue
- 6:36Speaker 1: hanging out his mouth all the time, my little baby.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Cash He did do weed a baby, I said, Man,
- 6:42Speaker 1: she almost has like this, like, uh, what do they
- 6:46Speaker 1: call it?
- 6:46Speaker 3: Not not detachment?
- 6:47Speaker 1: Is it a detachment synd abandonment? No, they call it
- 6:51Speaker 1: separation anxiety. Oh yeah, you've heard that where you know
- 6:54Speaker 1: the pets, their their life just kind of freezes until
- 6:57Speaker 1: you come back, right, you know. And my wife tells
- 6:59Speaker 1: me all the time, like she'll feed her breakfast in
- 7:01Speaker 1: the morning and she won't eat. It doesn't matter what
- 7:04Speaker 1: time I get home, whether I get home at eleven am,
- 7:06Speaker 1: one pm, later in the day, four pm, she won't
- 7:09Speaker 1: touch it until I get back to the house. My god,
- 7:11Speaker 1: And I'm like, dude, and my wife's like, yeah, it's
- 7:13Speaker 1: really weird trauma, you know, like she just wants to
- 7:15Speaker 1: make sure that you're okay. And we don't know what
- 7:17Speaker 1: it is. Anyway, this guy left a message, he said,
- 7:20Speaker 1: the real reason that the dog waits for me to eat?
- 7:24Speaker 10: Here we go, Hey what he full disclosure. I'm not
- 7:27Speaker 10: saying Cashie doesn't like you very much, but the reason
- 7:30Speaker 10: why she doesn't eat all day is I think you're
- 7:32Speaker 10: gonna give her a dog enough credit. She's a little
- 7:34Speaker 10: smarter and you think My dog's the same way.
- 7:38Speaker 8: Actually, the last two dogs I've had, Blueticks, have been
- 7:41Speaker 8: the same way. They won't you put food in your bowl.
- 7:44Speaker 8: They know you're scheduled. They won't eat if they're at
- 7:47Speaker 8: home all day. As soon as you come home, they'll
- 7:49Speaker 8: chow down. Because usually right after a dog eats within
- 7:54Speaker 8: you know a certain amount of time frame that's reasonable,
- 7:57Speaker 8: day got to go to take a poo. So I
- 7:59Speaker 8: bet you that's why she's smart enough, and that's why
- 8:02Speaker 8: she don't need all day.
- 8:04Speaker 3: It's not just because she's waiting for dinner to come home.
- 8:08Speaker 5: Balls.
- 8:09Speaker 3: But that's that all right.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Well, here's here's the thing though. At my house, someone's
- 8:14Speaker 1: always home. That's what I was going to say. Yeah,
- 8:16Speaker 1: it's not a survival technique. Yeah, very very rarely is
- 8:19Speaker 1: there somebody not home. Yeah, my wife said, you know,
- 8:23Speaker 1: she's a stay at home mom, right, So somebody somebody
- 8:25Speaker 1: is for the most part, always home.
- 8:27Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 8:27Speaker 3: And as much as I love dogs, I don't think
- 8:29Speaker 3: they're thinking like I might have to poop after I
- 8:31Speaker 3: eat it away. I mean, I get it.
- 8:34Speaker 5: I don't not care she's there. They're going to eat it.
- 8:37Speaker 7: I'll trap on his point but all the Internet says
- 8:39Speaker 7: is that their social animals pack animals.
- 8:41Speaker 1: This is how they developed, you know over Yeah.
- 8:44Speaker 2: She might have an eating disorder.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Yeah, she is a lady.
- 8:48Speaker 3: She's seven.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:52Speaker 3: If I give my dog a cook before we leave,
- 8:55Speaker 3: she waits we get home to eat it.
- 8:56Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 8:57Speaker 3: Yeah, because she doesn't want to have to go and poop.
- 8:59Speaker 3: She's thinking about yeah, exactly. In other animal.
- 9:02Speaker 1: News, you guys, Oh yeah, we got some raccoon news menace.
- 9:10Speaker 7: There has been a you know, there's been a photo
- 9:12Speaker 7: that's actually broken the internet. That phrase gets thrown around
- 9:16Speaker 7: a lot. But a raccoon passed out on the floor
- 9:19Speaker 7: of a bathrooms big store.
- 9:22Speaker 1: A lot of people have been sending this one to us.
- 9:23Speaker 5: I got tagged nine times.
- 9:27Speaker 7: Oh yeah, this is uh just north of Richmond. Actually,
- 9:30Speaker 7: like the song says a drunk liquor store raccoon.
- 9:33Speaker 1: This is from W A. V. Y. Yeah, a raccoon
- 9:36Speaker 1: broke into the store the night of Friday and ransacked
- 9:39Speaker 1: several shelves.
- 9:41Speaker 3: They have masks, don't they. The animal became.
- 9:43Speaker 7: Intoxicon and then passed out.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Sleeping raccoon was discovered Saturday morning, head right near the toilet.
- 9:52Speaker 11: We've all been there probably at some point in our lives, right,
- 9:54Speaker 11: a little too much.
- 9:55Speaker 1: An officer brought the.
- 9:57Speaker 11: Masked bandit back to the County Animal shelter to recover. So, yeah,
- 10:00Speaker 11: that's a lot of liqueur for a little raccoon there.
- 10:03Speaker 11: The raccoon slept it off for a few hours and
- 10:05Speaker 11: showed no signs of injury. Bounce back officers released the
- 10:09Speaker 11: raccoon back into the wild.
- 10:11Speaker 5: No alcoholic though, yeah, just be breaking him everywhere with
- 10:17Speaker 5: his mask to get his next fixed.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Are you going to know which ones which they have masks?
- 10:20Speaker 7: But much like menace, they love getting drunk and pass
- 10:23Speaker 7: that on the floor pathroom. Are your literal spirit animal?
- 10:28Speaker 1: So many times medicine animal form as you.
- 10:31Speaker 7: Have heard this raccoon and the liquor story, bathroom story.
- 10:34Speaker 7: Uh oh boy? Do TV people love these kinds of
- 10:38Speaker 7: stories because they love you know, they love flex their
- 10:40Speaker 7: comedy muscle. Yeah, ad it going on a worldwide story.
- 10:46Speaker 9: Uh.
- 10:46Speaker 1: ABC Richmond covered it as well.
- 10:48Speaker 9: Pime Alerts night with a particularly furry suspect who is
- 10:52Speaker 9: apparently not old enough to drink.
- 10:55Speaker 12: On Saturday, animal control officers caught a raccoon red handed
- 10:59Speaker 12: or red pod bock out inside an ABC store.
- 11:02Speaker 11: After helping itself to bottles of alcohol.
- 11:05Speaker 6: Na na.
- 11:12Speaker 3: Rac stupid kids.
- 11:14Speaker 7: Yeah, and of course this is their big story of
- 11:18Speaker 7: the week, the big kicker story. So after the story's over,
- 11:20Speaker 7: they're going to chop it up some more. Yeah, of course,
- 11:22Speaker 7: more local TV comedy.
- 11:24Speaker 1: I love it when the news anchor because they're really
- 11:26Speaker 1: good at just reading teleprompter, but they're not so good
- 11:28Speaker 1: at that living off the well.
- 11:31Speaker 12: In all seriousness, the ABC store did have to file
- 11:33Speaker 12: a report for the loss of product, and the workers
- 11:36Speaker 12: at the ABC store, we're telling me people have been
- 11:38Speaker 12: coming in all day just to see the store and
- 11:40Speaker 12: ask if that's where it happened.
- 11:42Speaker 9: Certainly not the type of thing you would like to
- 11:45Speaker 9: see happen, or that expect to see happening.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Situation, And I hope the raccoon's okay.
- 11:50Speaker 11: Now, I lost a lot of bottles, but bringing in
- 11:52Speaker 11: a lot more customers.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Something sober and okay at this point is okay.
- 11:58Speaker 1: We can rest. We can rest easy tonight, you know
- 12:00Speaker 1: what I mean?
- 12:00Speaker 7: Like what the effort you talked about. He's wishing well
- 12:04Speaker 7: to the raccoons. You wouldn't want people to think you're
- 12:05Speaker 7: on You're untearing you wouldn't.
- 12:06Speaker 3: Want to see a blitzed raccoon, and then you go
- 12:09Speaker 3: to the store because you want to see the floor it.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Happened, also knowing that the raccoons perfectly fine, Like so
- 12:14Speaker 1: you know how the story ends, the fine.
- 12:16Speaker 3: It got drunk.
- 12:19Speaker 5: You don't want the free marketing for the location.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Okay, so what did you say that? Greg?
- 12:22Speaker 7: And I had the exact same thought. Oh, okay, it's
- 12:24Speaker 7: all cleaned up, knowing it's a liquor store in Nowhereville.
- 12:27Speaker 3: I want to see where it happened.
- 12:28Speaker 7: This is the sort of thing. If I lived in Hanover, Virginia,
- 12:31Speaker 7: my mom would have taken us to go see.
- 12:32Speaker 5: The somebody that was smart enough to like start starting
- 12:38Speaker 5: selling merch like right away.
- 12:40Speaker 2: On the street.
- 12:42Speaker 1: He would have.
- 12:50Speaker 3: The wh alright. So not not everybody?
- 12:55Speaker 1: Uh not everybody loves the show. Some people, some people
- 13:00Speaker 1: are in fans. Well here this one, this one, this
- 13:05Speaker 1: one is a fan.
- 13:06Speaker 6: Okay, what do you show, Sarah. I drive a tow
- 13:09Speaker 6: truck for a living, and so I listen to your
- 13:11Speaker 6: show every single day. I usually catch it on the
- 13:14Speaker 6: podcast them in and out of the truck, and so
- 13:16Speaker 6: that's better.
- 13:16Speaker 10: I can pause the.
- 13:17Speaker 6: Podcast as I can't pause the live radio. But I
- 13:20Speaker 6: was just going through and listening to some of your
- 13:22Speaker 6: older podcasts and people just call in and they just
- 13:25Speaker 6: like to complain about you guys. A lot of men's hate,
- 13:28Speaker 6: a lot of just like some crap.
- 13:29Speaker 13: And it's like, I love all of you. I love
- 13:31Speaker 13: all of you individually for a few hours of person
- 13:34Speaker 13: Woody the glue that holds everybody together, Greg with.
- 13:37Speaker 6: The bougie side of things, with his wine and his
- 13:41Speaker 6: caviare and his empty crackers.
- 13:43Speaker 3: And then Gina.
- 13:44Speaker 6: Oh I love Gina.
- 13:45Speaker 14: Gina.
- 13:46Speaker 13: It is such a good chef.
- 13:48Speaker 6: Hits addition to the show. She's wonderful, She's hilarious. She's
- 13:51Speaker 6: a little loud, but hey, who cares, that's fine, Uh Sammy,
- 13:55Speaker 6: I love her. She's adorable with her crocheting and her
- 13:58Speaker 6: wanting to to a home and watch the Hallmark Channel.
- 14:01Speaker 6: I love her. She's so so, so stinking cute.
- 14:04Speaker 13: I put her in my pocket, you know what I mean?
- 14:07Speaker 6: Menace, hilarious, You're so dumb, and it's so great, poor
- 14:12Speaker 6: thing I get.
- 14:13Speaker 13: I get such a good laugh out of you just
- 14:14Speaker 13: trying to talk. Or he's probably to be Sea Bass obviously.
- 14:20Speaker 6: You're an a hole, but you're You're a funny a hole,
- 14:23Speaker 6: and you know what, you bring good content to the show,
- 14:25Speaker 6: So even you, I love you just.
- 14:27Speaker 1: For being you.
- 14:29Speaker 6: And then all the behind the scenes guys, the sports,
- 14:32Speaker 6: the Mangies, the Morgans, Ugh, I love Morgan. Oh my God,
- 14:36Speaker 6: come to punch me in the face. Girl, I love you,
- 14:39Speaker 6: vond can't forget Vond. I just I love all of you,
- 14:42Speaker 6: And honestly, listening to the older episodes, it's kind of
- 14:45Speaker 6: kind of a bummer because I'm listening to shows from
- 14:47Speaker 6: like twenty two, so it's pre Sammy, pre Morgan, pre Dina,
- 14:51Speaker 6: pre a lot of you, honestly, and it just doesn't
- 14:54Speaker 6: hit the thing. So I just want to say, I.
- 14:55Speaker 15: Love you, guys.
- 14:56Speaker 6: The show is going in an awesome direction. I love
- 14:58Speaker 6: all the stuff you guys have been putting out, and
- 15:00Speaker 6: I love all of you as people anyways, all in love.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Which is funny.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Because I heard that voicemail and then within a couple
- 15:13Speaker 1: of minutes I saw this text. Y'all sound like a
- 15:16Speaker 1: bunch of sorority susies. This is what happens when you
- 15:20Speaker 1: put more chicks in the mix. The Woody show has
- 15:25Speaker 1: gone lame. I hope it picks up. I sense the
- 15:27Speaker 1: show is going for a younger, possibly stupider audience.
- 15:31Speaker 3: Too bad.
- 15:32Speaker 1: You're turning off a lot of listeners. I'm not a
- 15:34Speaker 1: fan of the rehearsed segments. I don't know what that means,
- 15:38Speaker 1: building to everybody talking over each other. Your longtime listeners
- 15:41Speaker 1: are a lot smarter than you know. There are too
- 15:44Speaker 1: many females chiming in. It spoils the broth. The guys
- 15:51Speaker 1: are more interesting and funny. Well, I dismissed the old show.
- 15:56Speaker 1: It was spontaneous and real, without a lot of tampon talk.
- 16:00Speaker 1: A lot of that comes from you, guys, f Y. I, well.
- 16:03Speaker 3: It's curiosity.
- 16:04Speaker 1: All the guys, very funny. Menace and Woody let out
- 16:06Speaker 1: some great comments. Side splitting anyway, good luck with it all.
- 16:10Speaker 5: Thank you, thank you.
- 16:13Speaker 15: Why is it whenever somebody has a negative comment, they
- 16:16Speaker 15: have to pretend that they speak for the masses. But
- 16:18Speaker 15: if somebody says something nice, it's like, I really like this.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Someone doesn't everybody? Friends, Thank you, guys rule exactly. It's
- 16:27Speaker 1: never that all right, Well, we get good, we get bad.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Greg likes to have fun with these these piffy I mean,
- 16:35Speaker 1: that's the hope, right, the hope the ones I don't
- 16:37Speaker 1: I don't know what s because it's just something. Sometimes
- 16:41Speaker 1: one just hits Greg a certain way, and these are
- 16:44Speaker 1: the ones that he selects for around um, Greg Gory's
- 16:47Speaker 1: imature replies to text messages, real text messages sent into
- 16:51Speaker 1: the Woodie Show and now real replies right.
- 16:55Speaker 3: And for me, it's what it's just the idea of
- 16:59Speaker 3: it that crack me up. Yeah, if you make a
- 17:02Speaker 3: complaint to let's say a company or a store, or
- 17:07Speaker 3: you know, some sort of sales type. Can you imagine
- 17:12Speaker 3: if you bought something at Macy's you had some feedback
- 17:15Speaker 3: and then you got something like this about your mom's box, right,
- 17:18Speaker 3: And I think about that, That's what I find funny.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Yeah, So gregs he'll read the text that that came in,
- 17:25Speaker 1: and then he's got a couple of different replies that
- 17:27Speaker 1: he's considering, and then we can all make a decision
- 17:30Speaker 1: together which one ruins the person's day.
- 17:32Speaker 3: Right today, we have three options for each of the
- 17:34Speaker 3: two texts. So the first one is from the four
- 17:37Speaker 3: one two. I think maybe Seabas sent this in. It
- 17:41Speaker 3: says that segment Friday, okifing sucks, you need to leave
- 17:45Speaker 3: the singing two professionals stop singing songs. You're not a band.
- 17:50Speaker 1: But I thought that's what karaoke is. Apparently I did
- 17:54Speaker 1: not send that in mostly right.
- 17:59Speaker 3: And she mostly that's true that segment Friday, Okie, evan sucks.
- 18:03Speaker 3: You need to leave the singing two professionals stop singing songs.
- 18:05Speaker 3: You're not a band. How about tell your mom to
- 18:08Speaker 3: stop shining poles, she's not a sailor. Or how about
- 18:14Speaker 3: friday Oki has nothing to do with you being conceived
- 18:17Speaker 3: by a mom who charges by the hour and a
- 18:19Speaker 3: daddy got invoice. Or how about right, just so we're clear, bitch,
- 18:27Speaker 3: you want our lis just so we're clear, Bitch, you
- 18:29Speaker 3: want our mouths to be what your mom's legs never
- 18:32Speaker 3: are clothes.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Oh damn, that's three.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Give me one again. One was tell your mom to
- 18:42Speaker 3: stop shining poles. She's not a sailor. Yeah three. Yeah,
- 18:45Speaker 3: that one didn't hit me at all either. I was
- 18:47Speaker 3: very upset about that one. This is good, Okay, so.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Get from North.
- 18:56Speaker 3: You're not happy with something talking about your mom?
- 19:03Speaker 1: Okay, so that's another day room, Great, Thank you, Greg,
- 19:06Speaker 1: Gore's inmatory has a text message. Yeah okay, and now

- 19:35Speaker 1: crazy how much I've heard about it. So good for you,
- 19:38Speaker 1: Thank you so much.
- 19:39Speaker 3: Good empire.
- 19:39Speaker 2: I'll say it again, shout out of foot freaks. I'm
- 19:41Speaker 2: a new fan of the community.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I can put you in touch with our friend
- 19:46Speaker 1: John Jay. Oh right, a good client. Yeah, he's got
- 19:51Speaker 1: promote you. He's got this Instagram account. I forget what
- 19:56Speaker 1: it is. I'll look at it. I'll text him. We
- 19:59Speaker 1: had him on Remember to try to get an understanding
- 20:01Speaker 1: of freaks and they can never answer. And he he's
- 20:03Speaker 1: the host of another syndicated radio show, the John Jay
- 20:06Speaker 1: and Rich Show. They're based out of Arizona, and he's
- 20:08Speaker 1: a total foot freak.
- 20:11Speaker 3: Unashamed. What about your actual feet. Morgan like, would you
- 20:13Speaker 3: say you have nice feet?
- 20:14Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 20:14Speaker 3: You want to?
- 20:15Speaker 15: I want to see.
- 20:16Speaker 3: Yeah, let's see. And do they get jacked up from?
- 20:20Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 20:20Speaker 2: And I gotta when I go get a pedicure every
- 20:22Speaker 2: once in a while, she.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Has to get out the cheese grater.
- 20:24Speaker 2: Oh, because I'm on my feet too much.
- 20:28Speaker 1: I think John Jay's account is unfugged. That's right, that's it,
- 20:31Speaker 1: unfugged feet.
- 20:32Speaker 3: Okay, so I think a freak. We love that. Yeah,
- 20:36Speaker 3: like nice whitish toe polish kind of kind of off white,
- 20:40Speaker 3: very very nice.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Thank you so much. Yeah, good fee. Hey, uh, this
- 20:43Speaker 1: is this is fun.
- 20:44Speaker 3: I like this.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Everybody knows Groove Is in the Heart by d Light.
- 20:51Speaker 8: In the.
- 20:55Speaker 3: Right.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Everybody knows this song. Well, one of the accounts that
- 20:58Speaker 1: I follow on Instant Graham and then a bunch of
- 21:01Speaker 1: these pop up. It kind of dives into songs and
- 21:05Speaker 1: where all the different samples come from in the songs,
- 21:09Speaker 1: And this particular one for Groove Is in the Heart
- 21:12Speaker 1: was on this account music Dot Daily Dot Pill and
- 21:15Speaker 1: they broke down how it all happened. So here's what
- 21:18Speaker 1: I learned about Groove Is in the Heart. You know
- 21:20Speaker 1: where it goes, uh uh good, do you know what
- 21:24Speaker 1: that is? I do? I'm going to recuse myself.
- 21:27Speaker 3: Oh you already know what it is. That's okay, I couldn't. Okay.
- 21:33Speaker 3: So that's from something I thought that was just an
- 21:35Speaker 3: original song. No, I don't know.
- 21:38Speaker 1: It's from this.
- 21:41Speaker 3: Stupid for me.
- 21:46Speaker 16: Wait for it, let's spread out. Happened to just give
- 21:52Speaker 16: me that country side right here?
- 22:03Speaker 1: I would never know? Yeah, that's it.
- 22:08Speaker 3: Right, wow?
- 22:09Speaker 1: And then you process it out right and then it
- 22:13Speaker 1: goes into the song right now, I'll put I'll put
- 22:17Speaker 1: there where it doesn't necessarily belong I mean it belonged.
- 22:22Speaker 3: But what a great song dig.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Like eighty nine maybe maybe ninety.
- 22:34Speaker 5: Right.
- 22:36Speaker 3: I don't have to pitch on that correction. But that's it.
- 22:47Speaker 1: That's that's not correct.
- 22:48Speaker 3: That's what it is.
- 22:49Speaker 1: It's from It's from Green Acres.
- 22:52Speaker 3: Yeah. I always got the bores mixed up.
- 22:54Speaker 15: Who was in green Ache Ava and who was the
- 22:57Speaker 15: I think Ava was in green ak Okaya.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Oh, I mean I blew Gina's mind when I gave
- 23:03Speaker 1: her that whole thing with andrewdied Clay being sampled an
- 23:07Speaker 1: e m F unbelievable.
- 23:08Speaker 3: It's unbelievable.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Oh believe that he don't know. Now you'll go, you'll
- 23:15Speaker 1: hear you go. It's unbelievable. That's it's unbelievable because we
- 23:20Speaker 1: played this part of time who nice. So we had
- 23:23Speaker 1: a little rim shot in the audience stuff to the who.
- 23:28Speaker 1: That's the same.
- 23:28Speaker 3: Oh it's and Clay once you know.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Yeah, oh I put the little rimshot.
- 23:37Speaker 12: That's it's the.
- 23:38Speaker 1: Same rim shot.
- 23:42Speaker 5: Yeah, my head almost blow it in rimshot.
- 23:49Speaker 3: I know you don't think it's him because you don't
- 23:52Speaker 3: think of it like a band. You know, we should
- 23:54Speaker 3: use Why would they random from Andrew dice F and
- 23:59Speaker 3: Clay Hey.
- 24:00Speaker 15: You guys remember Green Acres.
- 24:03Speaker 1: That's the thing they saw in these like really crazy
- 24:05Speaker 1: I saw one about just like in part the beginning
- 24:09Speaker 1: of Faint. You know, it's like the kind of like
- 24:11Speaker 1: high pitch string part. Oh that was like from like
- 24:17Speaker 1: a Bond or something like that, like that like where
- 24:20Speaker 1: they're like kind of running from something, and it was
- 24:21Speaker 1: like there's really suspenseful, like uh, you know, under music
- 24:25Speaker 1: underneath the scene, and it was like they just took it,
- 24:28Speaker 1: pitched it up, kind of stretched it out a little
- 24:30Speaker 1: bit and it made that crazier sound or another one
- 24:33Speaker 1: with Justin Bieber.
- 24:34Speaker 5: Yeah, there's a really big breakdown right now that's going viral.
- 24:38Speaker 5: Is the one where they do daft punk where they
- 24:43Speaker 5: do the breakdown of the song, which one.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Around the world, No, daft punk defunk one more time?
- 24:51Speaker 5: H yeah, yeah, one more time, one more time.
- 24:53Speaker 3: That's it. Yeah.
- 24:54Speaker 15: The other big one is you know the Violence and
- 24:56Speaker 15: Toxic that dude, dude. Oh yeah, that's from like A
- 24:59Speaker 15: sixteen hundred. It's Italian opera is yeah.
- 25:02Speaker 3: And then also there's this one.
- 25:04Speaker 1: There was a really cool story behind it, going back
- 25:07Speaker 1: even further Information Society. Their song What's on Your Mind
- 25:11Speaker 1: Pure Energy, they sampled Spock from Star Trek, so this
- 25:15Speaker 1: is this is a spot here on energy thought from
- 25:23Speaker 1: an episode of like Star Trek. Put then they used
- 25:31Speaker 1: a pure Recordy, that's cool.
- 25:35Speaker 8: I love this song.
- 25:37Speaker 1: There you go, pure energy Energy, that's where that's where
- 25:44Speaker 1: that came from. So there was a problem, you know,
- 25:47Speaker 1: because permission to use the clip didn't come in, So
- 25:49Speaker 1: the record label initially like refused to release the album,
- 25:52Speaker 1: and so this executive from the label contacted Leonard Nimoy's
- 25:57Speaker 1: son Adam, who then stepped in so his dad would
- 26:00Speaker 1: personally kind of helped push things along so the album
- 26:02Speaker 1: could come out. It was released in June of nineteen
- 26:04Speaker 1: eighty eight, but that was like six months after they
- 26:07Speaker 1: had planned the release. And then but this, yeah, this
- 26:11Speaker 1: song went on to be their biggest hit. Yeah, it
- 26:15Speaker 1: took just a little longer, but hey, there you go.
- 26:20Speaker 3: I was wondering what the legality of it is to
- 26:22Speaker 3: just take a random.
- 26:24Speaker 1: I'm not sure because I've always been confused about a
- 26:27Speaker 1: lot of times they just release it and then they
- 26:29Speaker 1: deal with it later. Yeah, I thought there was like
- 26:31Speaker 1: some kind of like thing where it had to be
- 26:34Speaker 1: a certain length or certain whatever, and then what's the
- 26:37Speaker 1: application of it.
- 26:38Speaker 2: Yeah, wasn't there drama recently with Kanye using Kevin Smith's
- 26:42Speaker 2: Dogma clip Oh yeah, permission or something?
- 26:46Speaker 1: Well?
- 26:46Speaker 5: Also they just like people who don't want to be
- 26:49Speaker 5: associated with like Kanye, they'll just say I didn't authorize
- 26:52Speaker 5: that same Yeah.
- 26:53Speaker 14: But it's not like they.
- 26:58Speaker 3: Now I'm going to hear it differently. And then there
- 27:01Speaker 3: was a song by Data called Disneyland and they had
- 27:03Speaker 3: to respell the name of the song. Dz z k
- 27:07Speaker 3: n e E.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Would be considered a preservative, genetically.
- 27:14Speaker 15: Modified, genetically modified Menace origin maybe yes, exactly right.
- 27:20Speaker 1: The Woodie Show.
- 27:23Speaker 3: You like that, don't you? The Woodie Show?
- 27:28Speaker 1: And moving right along here for you, we got today's
- 27:32Speaker 1: dumb ass contest and today's dumbmass contest is.
- 27:35Speaker 15: The du i Q.
- 27:38Speaker 3: Answer that's right?
- 27:41Speaker 1: I Q eight seven seven forty four would if you'd

- 27:51Speaker 7: questions and you guess whether they get the answer.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Correct, so you don't need to know the answer of it.
- 27:56Speaker 1: If you already know the answer, you'd be like, what the.
- 27:58Speaker 3: Hell am I doing this for?
- 27:59Speaker 7: You're guessing what the drunk person knows the answer, and
- 28:01Speaker 7: if you do that correctly twice out of three times
- 28:03Speaker 7: you win.
- 28:03Speaker 1: All right, and let's get our contests on the phone.
- 28:06Speaker 1: We'll have a menace and Sammy guests they are stone

- 28:11Speaker 3: Sammy? What do you think?
- 28:12Speaker 1: I think we should go to line too?
- 28:14Speaker 3: On his nick?
- 28:16Speaker 1: Hey?
- 28:16Speaker 8: What's going on?
- 28:17Speaker 3: All right?
- 28:17Speaker 1: So we're gonna play the duy q? Are you ready
- 28:19Speaker 1: to win something? I hope so?
- 28:21Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 28:23Speaker 1: It's not very often that somebody doesn't win generous. I mean,
- 28:27Speaker 1: I have my strategy. We'll see how you do. Now, Nick,
- 28:30Speaker 1: Before we get to the questions that matter, we're gonna
- 28:32Speaker 1: get to know this drunk a little bit better. See
- 28:34Speaker 1: how with it or not? Whither they are see about?
- 28:36Speaker 1: Who is this?
- 28:36Speaker 7: This is Joseph and he's going to try to tell
- 28:39Speaker 7: us how many drinks he has to see if you
- 28:40Speaker 7: believe him?
- 28:41Speaker 3: All right, what have.
- 28:42Speaker 1: You had to drink this evening? For this evening?
- 28:45Speaker 17: I have currently had a long asty along with.
- 28:49Speaker 3: A Jack and Morgan.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Just those two drinks.
- 28:53Speaker 3: That's it.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Wow, that seems like very little drink. Because you're a
- 28:56Speaker 1: big dude. You can handle your liquor, right.
- 28:57Speaker 17: I've had currently previously before. However, once that hit the strip,
- 29:02Speaker 17: it's been a continuously different story.
- 29:05Speaker 1: Oh what has that story been about?
- 29:06Speaker 17: That story has been continuously regarding, you know, a couple
- 29:10Speaker 17: of single women. However, everything else has been available.
- 29:15Speaker 1: What was that?
- 29:15Speaker 3: What was the little kid who was like at the fair?
- 29:18Speaker 1: Apparently really fast? Apparently apparently.
- 29:26Speaker 7: That's you know, you can't have that, I guess sure,
- 29:27Speaker 7: But if you.
- 29:28Speaker 5: Get the right Long Island it hits the slap is
- 29:32Speaker 5: slap litting fire and no like. If you get a
- 29:34Speaker 5: heavy pour on a long island, you can get messed up.
- 29:37Speaker 5: That's that's followed by that drink as well.
- 29:40Speaker 14: And if you didn't eat that much that day.
- 29:41Speaker 5: Yeah, oh he ate a lot.
- 29:42Speaker 3: I'm sure all right.
- 29:44Speaker 1: So anyway, that is that's Joseph, and we're going into
- 29:48Speaker 1: the questions here. Question number one for the d u
- 29:51Speaker 1: i Q. How many days are there in a leap year?
- 29:55Speaker 3: All right?
- 29:55Speaker 1: How many days are there in a leap year? Will
- 29:59Speaker 1: Joseph know it? I will say for Joseph, No, it's
- 30:03Speaker 1: always the safe bet, especially early on. Menace will not,
- 30:09Speaker 1: Sammy will?
- 30:10Speaker 7: Do you think they'll know that we're in a leap
- 30:11Speaker 7: year right now?
- 30:12Speaker 1: Wink?
- 30:13Speaker 3: No, wonder.
- 30:14Speaker 15: I'm gonna say. I'm gonna go crazy and say Joseph
- 30:17Speaker 15: will and Sammy and Mesas won't.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Ah, babe, I'm gonna go crazy er and go triple yes,
- 30:26Speaker 3: triple yes.
- 30:28Speaker 1: I know all right, Greg for dimension, Yeah all right, hi, uh, Menace, Sammy,
- 30:32Speaker 1: do you think that Joseph will get it?
- 30:34Speaker 3: No?
- 30:34Speaker 1: No, Nick, what do you say?
- 30:37Speaker 11: No?
- 30:37Speaker 3: Definitely enough?
- 30:38Speaker 1: Definitely enough?
- 30:39Speaker 3: All right?
- 30:40Speaker 1: Question number one for the duy Q, how many days
- 30:43Speaker 1: are there in a leap year, Menace, three hundred and
- 30:47Speaker 1: sixty six, Sammy.
- 30:49Speaker 14: Three hundred and sixty six.
- 30:51Speaker 1: There are three hundred and sixty six so far days. Yeah,
- 30:59Speaker 1: all right, will Joseph get it right?
- 31:00Speaker 7: Let's find out how many days are there in a
- 31:03Speaker 7: leap year.
- 31:04Speaker 17: So three hundred and sixty five. No, however, I apologize
- 31:08Speaker 17: three hundred and sixty four, you know, I apologize for inconvenienced. However,
- 31:14Speaker 17: it is about two years separate from the year that
- 31:18Speaker 17: is evolved.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Oh wow, all right.
- 31:23Speaker 15: I thought you guys were gonna get it wrong because
- 31:25Speaker 15: I thought you were going to say how many are
- 31:26Speaker 15: in a month?
- 31:27Speaker 1: Eleape month? I thought that was going to trip you out. Okay, Nick,
- 31:31Speaker 1: you were on the board. You've got yourself a point.
- 31:34Speaker 1: You're in good shape. Here on the duy Q, we
- 31:38Speaker 1: got the question number two. In a solar eclipse? What
- 31:43Speaker 1: is blocking?
- 31:43Speaker 16: What?
- 31:44Speaker 3: All right?
- 31:45Speaker 1: In the solar eclipse? What is blocking? What?
- 31:50Speaker 3: It's so easy, I'll start.
- 31:51Speaker 1: I'll start with a triple no, you didn't go triple no. Yeah,
- 31:54Speaker 1: I think somebody will get to look into it, you know, Joseph, Joseph,
- 32:00Speaker 1: Sammy no, Menace.
- 32:04Speaker 15: Yes, I think Sammy and Menace Yes, and Joseph.
- 32:08Speaker 1: No, all right, Sammy and Menace. Do you think that
- 32:12Speaker 1: Joseph gets this?
- 32:13Speaker 3: All right?
- 32:14Speaker 1: Nick, what do you say?
- 32:15Speaker 3: I'm gonna say yes because you know it's pretty close. Yes,
- 32:18Speaker 3: all right?
- 32:19Speaker 1: Question number two for the d u i Q and
- 32:22Speaker 1: a solar eclipse? What is blocking?
- 32:25Speaker 8: What?
- 32:25Speaker 1: Sammy? The Moon blocks the sun? Menace, The Moon blocks
- 32:30Speaker 1: the Sun. The Moon blocks the Sun. Now that's if
- 32:35Speaker 1: you're on Earth. Yeah, because if you're on the Sun,
- 32:40Speaker 1: nothing's blocking in just the last history. Yeah, all right, Uh,
- 32:48Speaker 1: they've both got to right. You guys are killing it
- 32:50Speaker 1: so far today. Now if Joseph doesn't get this right,
- 32:54Speaker 1: I know if he Nick said, you said you said
- 32:56Speaker 1: he would get it right. I just want to clarify
- 32:58Speaker 1: yes he said yes, right, okay, So you think even
- 33:01Speaker 1: Joseph will get this right. And if that is the case,
- 33:03Speaker 1: you'll be the winner of the d u i Q
- 33:04Speaker 1: and a solar eclipse. What is blocking?
- 33:07Speaker 3: What they're coming it?
- 33:10Speaker 17: Plicks Plicks revolves around the Sun, converting over the phone
- 33:18Speaker 17: the moon.
- 33:20Speaker 1: So the Sun blocks the moon? Drunk, right, I do
- 33:24Speaker 1: It's fun just to be clear that clip over the phone, Yeah,
- 33:32Speaker 1: they can it plicks plick and apples. Yes, all right,
- 33:45Speaker 1: all right, Nick, that's why we have the third question
- 33:47Speaker 1: to make her a break. Question number three for the d.
- 33:50Speaker 3: U i Q.
- 33:51Speaker 1: What type of teeth are wisdom teeth?
- 33:54Speaker 3: All right?
- 33:54Speaker 1: What type of teeth are wisdom teeth? We'll start with
- 33:58Speaker 1: Gina grad this time.
- 34:00Speaker 15: Hmmmm, well that's a weird question. What type of teeth
- 34:04Speaker 15: or wisdom teeth? Okay, I'm gonna say triple.
- 34:08Speaker 1: No, triple no, Greg gorym yes to Sammy, no to menace,
- 34:18Speaker 1: and absolutely no to Joseph. I would say Joseph no
- 34:23Speaker 1: medicine Sammy, Yes, Okay, Yeah, I mean they are really
- 34:26Speaker 1: showing me something today, and I'm curious why that's a
- 34:28Speaker 1: weird question. Okay, Well go do the answer medicine, Sammy.
- 34:32Speaker 1: Do you think that Joseph will know it?
- 34:35Speaker 3: All right? Nick, what do you say?
- 34:37Speaker 1: No?
- 34:39Speaker 3: Dog? Al alright? Question number three d u i Q.
- 34:45Speaker 1: What type of teeth are wisdom teeth? Menace, molars? Sammy?
- 34:52Speaker 1: I think that's what he's going for, right, you could
- 34:55Speaker 1: say adult teeth. I guess that's the answer that we're
- 34:58Speaker 1: looking for.
- 34:59Speaker 5: Is a question weird?
- 34:59Speaker 15: That's a I'm saying, Yeah, I don't know, it just
- 35:01Speaker 15: hit me weird, Like what you mean, like what.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Kind of teeth or wisdom teeth? Like what we're kinds
- 35:07Speaker 1: of teeth teeth? I don't know.
- 35:09Speaker 15: I just it wasn't bone. Yeah, I'm glad.
- 35:11Speaker 1: I would think you would know. Just buy wisdom teeth.
- 35:14Speaker 1: They were talking about humans. They got it.
- 35:17Speaker 3: Yeah, they nailed it. They swept it.
- 35:20Speaker 1: Wow. Cake, Oh that was a really good job, totally
- 35:25Speaker 1: the heart, Nick, good one. You say that he won't
- 35:28Speaker 1: get it. That's what we're pulling for, pulling for him
- 35:30Speaker 1: to mess this up and you'll be the winner on
- 35:32Speaker 1: the d.
- 35:32Speaker 3: U y Q.
- 35:33Speaker 1: What type of teeth are wisdom teeth?
- 35:36Speaker 17: The back wisdom teeth? Out of all that recalled the
- 35:41Speaker 17: remains of.
- 35:42Speaker 3: The move right?
- 35:44Speaker 1: But what do they also call this?
- 35:45Speaker 8: The muh?
- 35:48Speaker 17: I'm not gonna lie. You're gonna have to tell me. Manchego, manchego.
- 35:54Speaker 17: See now that's news to me, that's news to me.
- 36:01Speaker 3: Did you are the winner on the b u i q.
- 36:06Speaker 1: The drunk philibuster? Well that's such as.
- 36:12Speaker 3: News to me. That is news to him. All right?
- 36:17Speaker 1: Well, Nick, congratulations, big win today and my friend, good
- 36:23Speaker 1: look at it, dude, did you see uh the video.
- 36:37Speaker 1: The news story out of Philly where they were egging
- 36:40Speaker 1: the house of the offensive coordinator of the Eagles for
- 36:44Speaker 1: the Eagles performance and they lost the game and so
- 36:46Speaker 1: they were all pissed until Eagles fans Eagles fans egging
- 36:50Speaker 1: the house. That's so Philly. There's another story out of Philly.
- 36:55Speaker 1: A group of firefighters. They were called to it was
- 36:56Speaker 1: a deadly house fire, and uh, they're putting the fire
- 37:00Speaker 1: out and while they're doing that, they you know, help
- 37:02Speaker 1: two people escape the house and survive.
- 37:04Speaker 3: That s that's good news.
- 37:05Speaker 1: Well, some people while they were fighting the fire, because
- 37:09Speaker 1: they got back to the fire truck and they realized that.
- 37:11Speaker 3: They had been robbed.
- 37:12Speaker 1: Oh my god. Yeah, stuff was missing, personal items, firefighting equipment, medication,
- 37:18Speaker 1: a set of house keys from one of the firefighters,
- 37:20Speaker 1: a set of car keys from another. And then on
- 37:22Speaker 1: top of that, when they got back to the station, Uh,
- 37:25Speaker 1: the one who had his car keys stolen rose and
- 37:27Speaker 1: his jeep had been stolen from the station. So they
- 37:29Speaker 1: went back to the firehouse with the keys they just
- 37:32Speaker 1: stole from the fire truck from the scene where they
- 37:34Speaker 1: were fighting this fire and stole the car. Guys, the
- 37:39Speaker 1: guys jeep yeah, get rid of so please try on
- 37:41Speaker 1: the lookout. But they haven't caught the person yet.
- 37:44Speaker 15: It's pretty disgusting as far as things go, fre as
- 37:47Speaker 15: criminals go.
- 37:48Speaker 3: Dumbasses, How did these thieves look in the mirror at night? Yeah?
- 37:52Speaker 5: I don't get it, jeep.
- 37:53Speaker 1: That's the thing that it's not normal thinking, so they
- 37:56Speaker 1: don't like we we are people who will think through
- 38:00Speaker 1: me and go, you know what, that's that's just not right.
- 38:01Speaker 1: You shouldn't.
- 38:02Speaker 3: But even if it's something they don't have that that
- 38:04Speaker 3: you want and you stole it, are you going to
- 38:06Speaker 3: be happy with that item?
- 38:07Speaker 18: Those people are They are because they think it's not
- 38:10Speaker 18: fair that they have that and I don't, and then
- 38:12Speaker 18: they'll just take it because they want it and think
- 38:14Speaker 18: that they deserve it.
- 38:15Speaker 5: I'm I don't get it, but zero paranoia of like yeah,
- 38:20Speaker 5: and there's so much of that.
- 38:21Speaker 1: There's so much that hole like if somebody had you
- 38:23Speaker 1: know that I've heard this long time ago. Like that's
- 38:25Speaker 1: an interesting way to look at it. You know, people's
- 38:28Speaker 1: definition of riches. Someone's got a dollar more than you do.
- 38:31Speaker 1: It's true, you know, because it's not fair they you
- 38:34Speaker 1: have something that they don't, right, you know, and it
- 38:37Speaker 1: doesn't stop. It just goes to infinity. Fighters have had
- 38:41Speaker 1: it too good for too long. They have you know
- 38:44Speaker 1: street They just think they can just leave their doors open,
- 38:47Speaker 1: will you know like that, like the rest of us
- 38:48Speaker 1: have to lock the doors. What makes you think you're
- 38:49Speaker 1: so special firefighters? Oh, look at me, I'm here saving
- 38:53Speaker 1: lines from this fire. Dix like, try locking the doors. Yeah,
- 38:58Speaker 1: your fault.
- 38:59Speaker 3: Yeah, you basically asked you did what were wearing?
- 39:03Speaker 1: They say, don't victim shame, But guys, you left the
- 39:05Speaker 1: car keys just sitting there. He left fire fighting equipment
- 39:09Speaker 1: just out in the open while you're fighting a fire
- 39:11Speaker 1: on the fire truck.
- 39:13Speaker 3: Because I see that and I think free acts.
- 39:16Speaker 1: That is so Philly.
- 39:17Speaker 3: Now.
- 39:18Speaker 1: One thing is, uh, I brought this up before that
- 39:20Speaker 1: it's one of my favorite Philadelphia stories. You know, in
- 39:23Speaker 1: a lot of places, you'll see a car chase and
- 39:26Speaker 1: the cops are, you know, following whoever they're they're chasing,
- 39:29Speaker 1: and they give him so much leeway. They eventually maybe
- 39:32Speaker 1: try to pit them, you know, and they almost like
- 39:35Speaker 1: they're helping them, right, but they stay so far behind
- 39:37Speaker 1: and it's like, why why are you letting them go?
- 39:39Speaker 1: Like pull in front, you let them off the hook.
- 39:42Speaker 3: Not in Philly, dog, not in Philly.
- 39:44Speaker 1: My favorite one ever it was this and you can
- 39:46Speaker 1: you can find it online. This guy was running from
- 39:49Speaker 1: the cops and it's it's like right in the center,
- 39:51Speaker 1: right in center city Philadelphia, right downtown, right in the
- 39:54Speaker 1: heart of all the big you know, skyscrapers and stuff.
- 39:56Speaker 1: The cops are chasing this guy. They pit his ass.
- 40:00Speaker 1: It's enduring the day. There's all those kinds of people around, cars, pedestrians,
- 40:03Speaker 1: whole thing.
- 40:04Speaker 3: They pit this mother effort right into.
- 40:05Speaker 1: A bank, like they just came up the side and boom,
- 40:10Speaker 1: threw it because the bank was sitting on the corner
- 40:11Speaker 1: of like the intersection right there in the city streets.
- 40:14Speaker 1: Boom right in the front doors of this bank. When
- 40:16Speaker 1: it was over, and you know what, nobody complained. They
- 40:19Speaker 1: got their guy. It was great. Like now that is
- 40:22Speaker 1: all that is also so filling, right, and that I'm
- 40:25Speaker 1: fine with eight seven forty four Wooding text us over
- 40:28Speaker 1: to two two nine eighty seven a Woody Show. We're
- 40:35Speaker 1: into another new hour insensitivity training for a politically correct world. Woody,
- 40:42Speaker 1: Greg h Menace, Hi, Gina, there's a sea bank. We
- 40:46Speaker 1: are out here, Sammy Morgan is here. Did you ever
- 40:50Speaker 1: get the I don't know what they call it. It's
- 40:53Speaker 1: like a it's like a harm harmonica. You use it
- 40:58Speaker 1: for you know when you have a barbershop quartec? Greg,
- 41:04Speaker 1: pitch pipe, that's what it is. Pitch pipe? Is that
- 41:08Speaker 1: what it's called.
- 41:10Speaker 3: I have to do? You have it?
- 41:14Speaker 7: I have the digit I have a digital version. I
- 41:17Speaker 7: have a piano version.
- 41:18Speaker 1: Okay, because uh, we're gonna we're gonna test Sammy. We're
- 41:23Speaker 1: talking about we had those videos. Sammy was at the
- 41:25Speaker 1: Atlantis Moore set show and like it's like she's deaf.
- 41:28Speaker 1: She can't I don't know if she can hear to
- 41:32Speaker 1: or have the ability like when when somebody goes, hey,
- 41:35Speaker 1: do an impression of what you just heard it? And
- 41:38Speaker 1: yet it's it's not even in the ballpark.
- 41:41Speaker 3: Did you hear what the example was?
- 41:43Speaker 1: Or like, okay, so here here, here's how the song sounds,
- 41:46Speaker 1: and she's just way off.
- 41:48Speaker 3: The utter opposite of Yeah.
- 41:52Speaker 7: Tone is what he's question is, are you actually even
- 41:55Speaker 7: hearing different tones or are physically able to produce that?
- 41:58Speaker 5: I think it's just like the oct the level is
- 42:01Speaker 5: an issue. It's like you you brought it up before.
- 42:03Speaker 5: It's either really really low where you can't even hear
- 42:06Speaker 5: yourself speak, or you're just like Superman.
- 42:10Speaker 1: That's the volumes.
- 42:11Speaker 3: Volume, that's a volume.
- 42:12Speaker 5: That's that the volume is crazy.
- 42:15Speaker 1: The volume is different than than the picture.
- 42:17Speaker 3: The tone.
- 42:19Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, and so bass has one of these things
- 42:21Speaker 1: that we're going to see if you can replicate it.
- 42:23Speaker 1: We're gonna try. This is a medical test. So not
- 42:26Speaker 1: only will we hear what the tone is supposed to be.
- 42:29Speaker 7: So let's say you know, a high C or whatever,
- 42:31Speaker 7: but I have a I have a pitch, A pitch
- 42:33Speaker 7: things that you can see the little you know, moves
- 42:36Speaker 7: around make and I was going to see how close
- 42:39Speaker 7: that Sammy can get to what the supposed pitch is
- 42:42Speaker 7: going to be.
- 42:43Speaker 3: Okay, so we have a.
- 42:44Speaker 1: We have a we can actually see on the screen
- 42:47Speaker 1: how close you are.
- 42:49Speaker 15: Okay of doing what of matching that note?
- 42:51Speaker 1: Like, I have to like what you are directly on
- 43:01Speaker 1: C four, which is what.
- 43:02Speaker 3: That is great energy to. Okay, so you have to
- 43:07Speaker 3: put this by you.
- 43:08Speaker 1: Okay, Now you have to match that.
- 43:10Speaker 6: You can do either.
- 43:11Speaker 18: I don't even know what we're talking about. I mean,
- 43:13Speaker 18: I understand that people do this. I've never had to
- 43:15Speaker 18: match a pitch before, and I don't even I don't
- 43:17Speaker 18: even understand I would do that.
- 43:19Speaker 3: So do you hear?
- 43:20Speaker 4: Like?
- 43:20Speaker 1: How do you hear what I just did? Give me
- 43:23Speaker 1: another one? He's just one D.
- 43:29Speaker 3: You are?
- 43:30Speaker 1: You're on D four, a little flat dog, but you're
- 43:31Speaker 1: on D four, La, See how I match it?
- 43:39Speaker 18: I don't see how you're matching. I've never understood how
- 43:41Speaker 18: people did this, and I don't.
- 43:43Speaker 1: So do you hear crying?
- 43:45Speaker 14: Because I don't hear difference?
- 43:53Speaker 1: We're probably not helping.
- 43:57Speaker 3: Oh, that one's tough.
- 44:01Speaker 1: To you hear that?
- 44:06Speaker 3: Right?
- 44:07Speaker 5: It's not. Okay, we're talking all over it. Do the
- 44:12Speaker 5: first one first, the last one?
- 44:14Speaker 1: Regular see.
- 44:17Speaker 5: Do ones that are drastically different from each other back
- 44:21Speaker 5: to back without anybody talking, so you can hear the difference?
- 44:27Speaker 1: Okay, do you hear the difference in those two? No,
- 44:31Speaker 1: there's no difference.
- 44:32Speaker 14: Not really. It sounds a way that you're making it
- 44:34Speaker 14: sound like it should be.
- 44:36Speaker 1: That's see down to it. See is this like kind
- 44:42Speaker 1: of being colorblind? I'm just gonna say that that's what
- 44:45Speaker 1: it sounds like. It's like I'll see purple and you're like,
- 44:48Speaker 1: I don't get it.
- 44:48Speaker 14: So you know, I don't know what's going on right now.
- 44:52Speaker 7: Now, Wow, outside of the tone, have you ever had
- 44:54Speaker 7: regular hearing tests like where they play the until you yeah, okay.
- 44:58Speaker 15: So you know there's a note, but you just can't
- 45:00Speaker 15: find it right.
- 45:02Speaker 14: But they don't sound that different to I'm gonna.
- 45:05Speaker 7: Play I'm gonna play two, so I'm gonna play four
- 45:07Speaker 7: into low right.
- 45:10Speaker 14: But hi, okay that one?
- 45:14Speaker 1: Yeah, it's really far apart difference. Lah, Okay, she was
- 45:23Speaker 1: she was for she was a f four okay, and
- 45:24Speaker 1: then what about what about the low one? All right,
- 45:26Speaker 1: well she.
- 45:26Speaker 7: Probably can't hit that, but I'll try just for just
- 45:28Speaker 7: for fun, law.
- 45:34Speaker 14: I mean, that's all. That's all the range that I
- 45:35Speaker 14: can tell.
- 45:36Speaker 1: Anyways to do something high. I'm sorry, you're not gonna
- 45:38Speaker 1: make the wood Show acquired this way. It's just not
- 45:41Speaker 1: that's fascinating.
- 45:42Speaker 7: And again, we don't we don't blame you, Sandy, because clearly,
- 45:45Speaker 7: if you can't hear that difference, that's something.
- 45:46Speaker 14: It felt like I was being blamed, Truman.
- 45:54Speaker 3: I wasn't understanding. Nobody was yelling.
- 45:57Speaker 1: No one's yelling like it's just not getting the.
- 45:59Speaker 3: Confusion was about your confusion when you said I don't
- 46:03Speaker 3: get it. We said, okay, watch Woody, and then it
- 46:05Speaker 3: was like, the confusion is what is making you confuse.
- 46:12Speaker 15: The confusion is we're not getting Now we have an
- 46:16Speaker 15: audible example of what you.
- 46:18Speaker 3: Hear confusions on our side, like how.
- 46:21Speaker 15: Like it's literally like you like you said, like being colorblind,
- 46:24Speaker 15: like we all see green.
- 46:25Speaker 1: You're like, I'm not seeing green.
- 46:26Speaker 7: I don't know what to tell you.
- 46:27Speaker 1: That looks the same as that color right there. I
- 46:30Speaker 1: think it looks the same to me.
- 46:31Speaker 5: The first two examples that are just too close to
- 46:33Speaker 5: each other, you had to do like full lockt of down.
- 46:36Speaker 15: Yeah, okay, yeah, I can hear so that's the same note.
- 46:42Speaker 3: Butts, So we're wondering if you could match that.
- 46:47Speaker 1: Try to match Try to watch that lower one, please
- 46:48Speaker 1: if you can.
- 46:51Speaker 7: Wah, she's hitting f's when she should be hitting c
- 46:55Speaker 7: is she's having three steps either too high or something
- 46:57Speaker 7: like a medical night.
- 46:58Speaker 18: I don't even I can't even tell what I'm doing.
- 47:01Speaker 18: I'm just trying to go low because I hear it's
- 47:02Speaker 18: a low tone. But like, I don't know if there's
- 47:05Speaker 18: a difference in low tones.
- 47:06Speaker 14: I can't tell them.
- 47:08Speaker 1: They all like sound mostly the same.
- 47:10Speaker 15: This is so interesting again, But I just I thought
- 47:15Speaker 15: like tone death meant like when someone's tone deaf.
- 47:19Speaker 3: I just kind of I kind of just thought it
- 47:20Speaker 3: was you.
- 47:21Speaker 15: You just can't put it back and replicate it, can you?
- 47:24Speaker 1: But apparently you can't even hear it? Do you ever?
- 47:27Speaker 7: Like think of Mary Poppins, like do dear female, dear
- 47:29Speaker 7: ray when you sing that myself and down do.
- 47:40Speaker 14: Rami foss lacho.
- 47:42Speaker 1: So it's not super flat, very monotone.
- 47:46Speaker 18: But to me it sounds like it's like someone like
- 47:49Speaker 18: some of the lower voice compared to a high pitched voice.
- 47:52Speaker 1: Did they all sound the same to you? Like? Can
- 47:55Speaker 1: you hear someone you know?
- 47:58Speaker 3: I think?
- 47:58Speaker 18: But I also think that like when something comes out
- 48:01Speaker 18: of my mouth, it sounds more correct, right, more correct
- 48:06Speaker 18: than it actually is. But that's because of what I'm
- 48:10Speaker 18: hearing obviously, like I don't.
- 48:12Speaker 5: It's kind of like when you hear your own voice
- 48:13Speaker 5: for the first time on a recording and you're like,
- 48:15Speaker 5: wha is that.
- 48:16Speaker 3: What I really sound like?
- 48:18Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 48:19Speaker 1: Interesting?
- 48:19Speaker 5: Remember anyswering machines are like, wait, I sound like that.
- 48:23Speaker 18: But that's typically why I my volume gets louder and
- 48:27Speaker 18: softer because to me that's pitch.
- 48:29Speaker 14: Volume is pitch, not what you guys consider pitch.
- 48:35Speaker 3: I might get louder when I do so in your
- 48:38Speaker 3: mind to hit a higher note. Yeah. Yeah.
- 48:49Speaker 1: So someone of the text said auditory processing disorder APD
- 48:52Speaker 1: and thought.
- 48:53Speaker 15: That was for like ideas, like you're not getting a concept.
- 48:57Speaker 1: Maybe it's just the way it was is processing of audio, right,
- 49:00Speaker 1: like the way that that you know, whatever the sound is,
- 49:02Speaker 1: the way that it comes in you process it and
- 49:06Speaker 1: hear it or understand whatever, like the way that you registers.
- 49:09Speaker 3: Yeah, and it's not easy to replicate the notes, but
- 49:13Speaker 3: the concept is ease. But you know when you're wrong, right,
- 49:15Speaker 3: Like if it's like law and you go, you know
- 49:19Speaker 3: you're off. It's not that you don't understand the concept.
- 49:23Speaker 1: Yeah right.
- 49:24Speaker 18: But even if even when I did it and you
- 49:25Speaker 18: guys were like, yeah, that was that was closed, I
- 49:28Speaker 18: was like it was like I just do a shot
- 49:29Speaker 18: in the dark that I hope, but I have no
- 49:31Speaker 18: idea even if it's right.
- 49:32Speaker 1: That it's right.
- 49:32Speaker 3: Are you able to do an impression of anybody?
- 49:34Speaker 1: No? Okay, does that make sense? Sing?
- 49:36Speaker 15: I wonder if this can be taught like pitch can
- 49:38Speaker 15: be taught.
- 49:39Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 49:40Speaker 1: Yeah, like color blindness, the rain in Spain talls, what
- 49:44Speaker 1: was that?
- 49:45Speaker 5: What was that?
- 49:45Speaker 7: That's that's annunciation.
- 49:47Speaker 15: Yeah, that's from my fair lady. Yeah, in case you're
- 49:49Speaker 15: wondering some.
- 49:50Speaker 1: Definitely, I remember seeing the play and I was like, Oh,
- 49:52Speaker 1: they're trying to teach some girls something and.
- 49:54Speaker 15: Yeah the play versions Pick Malley and the musical.
- 49:56Speaker 3: Oh sure, yes.
- 49:57Speaker 1: Do you ever did you ever play an instrument of
- 49:59Speaker 1: any kind?
- 50:00Speaker 10: Uh?
- 50:01Speaker 18: Yes, so I I mean I tried the flut when
- 50:04Speaker 18: I was younger. That didn't really work out.
- 50:05Speaker 14: And then during the pandemic for my pandemic.
- 50:07Speaker 18: Hobby, I got keyboard and I had this little.
- 50:12Speaker 14: Keyboard thing.
- 50:13Speaker 18: It was an app and I would go along with
- 50:15Speaker 18: it and it kind of taught you the keys and
- 50:17Speaker 18: everything along with that. So I would do it and
- 50:20Speaker 18: i'd get like one hundred percent. And my brother, who
- 50:22Speaker 18: is i mean just very smart when it comes to music,
- 50:25Speaker 18: he has a keyboard, two knows a bunch of instruments,
- 50:27Speaker 18: and I played it for him. I did one hundred
- 50:29Speaker 18: percent on this little app thing, and he just looked
- 50:31Speaker 18: at me and he goes, yeah, but you know, none
- 50:33Speaker 18: of that sounded right though, Like even though this app
- 50:36Speaker 18: was telling me I got one hundred percent.
- 50:37Speaker 14: I was still off.
- 50:39Speaker 15: I didn't even know you're following the instructions and that's
- 50:41Speaker 15: as far as.
- 50:42Speaker 18: You know, right, which was very like mechanical like and
- 50:45Speaker 18: I just thought like, oh, I'm doing this, and my
- 50:47Speaker 18: brother was like, no, you're even.
- 50:49Speaker 7: This is so interesting, all right, very interesting.
- 50:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 50:52Speaker 1: I mean you know, I thought the letting us study you.
- 50:55Speaker 3: Yeah, it's fascinating.
- 50:57Speaker 1: So like she's trying, guy, we believe her. She's h yeah,
- 50:59Speaker 1: I musta you're trying.
- 51:00Speaker 8: Well.
- 51:00Speaker 18: You did say that to me at first, No.
- 51:05Speaker 1: No, because that was my way of describing, you know,
- 51:09Speaker 1: because when when it's like law and you go law
- 51:13Speaker 1: like that, that's like a low that's that sounds like
- 51:15Speaker 1: a low effort response. It's like law like like, it
- 51:19Speaker 1: doesn't sound like you're even.
- 51:20Speaker 3: Trying to even if the note is completely wrong, right,
- 51:23Speaker 3: you would have expected at least like a law like law. Right.
- 51:29Speaker 1: So it was just my way of describing they wanted
- 51:32Speaker 1: a louder law or.
- 51:34Speaker 3: You're not long enough well, I mean, just some sort
- 51:36Speaker 3: of effort to make it replicate what you're hearing, right,
- 51:39Speaker 3: and the fact that you were you said, I don't
- 51:41Speaker 3: understand what. I'm confused. What do you mean like to
- 51:44Speaker 3: repeat the note like you understand? Sorry? English right.
- 51:51Speaker 1: Returns right after these messages.
- 51:55Speaker 6: This is.
- 51:59Speaker 1: Following up on Sammy's severe tone deafness that we we
- 52:05Speaker 1: just learned about more after you know this last second.
- 52:08Speaker 1: I never saw it that way.
- 52:09Speaker 3: It's basically the.
- 52:10Speaker 1: Audio version of being color blind, where everything just kind
- 52:13Speaker 1: of sounds the same. I thought it was just like
- 52:15Speaker 1: you said, like you just couldn't get to that.
- 52:17Speaker 15: Yeah, you just can't articulate it, but yeah, she can't
- 52:19Speaker 15: hear It's fascinating.
- 52:21Speaker 1: Six six one. This makes me so sad for Sammy.
- 52:23Speaker 1: I love music and listening to music, and it makes
- 52:26Speaker 1: me wonder if she's really hearing music the same way
- 52:28Speaker 1: the rest of us do.
- 52:29Speaker 3: Same. I have the same thought.
- 52:33Speaker 14: But I still love music so in that way.
- 52:36Speaker 18: No, I'm sure that I don't hear it the same
- 52:37Speaker 18: way that you do, but I still love it and
- 52:39Speaker 18: enjoy it just as much as anyone else. Because I
- 52:41Speaker 18: don't know what difference, like, if you suddenly heard music
- 52:44Speaker 18: the way that I did, you would probably go insane.
- 52:46Speaker 15: I feel like this is tracked difference.
- 52:49Speaker 1: What about those videos where people get the glasses for
- 52:52Speaker 1: their colorblind loved.
- 52:53Speaker 3: Ones and they start crying.
- 52:55Speaker 1: Yeah, because they'll they'll put the they'll put the glasses on,
- 52:58Speaker 1: and they're seeing in a way they've never seen before,
- 53:01Speaker 1: vibrant and accurate.
- 53:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 53:03Speaker 5: Well does that explain country music then? Because everyone says
- 53:06Speaker 5: that country music is there's.
- 53:09Speaker 14: Still plenty of people out there like me, So who.
- 53:12Speaker 5: Can I Yeah, I mean, I see what you're saying.
- 53:14Speaker 5: I put that more in the I'm just talking about
- 53:16Speaker 5: the like that. I'm just trying to break it down,
- 53:18Speaker 5: not you know, knocking country music, just with the tone
- 53:21Speaker 5: and how it sounds the same.
- 53:22Speaker 18: And yeah, and alternatively, I mean I have not great eyes,
- 53:26Speaker 18: so I can't see very well. And when I but
- 53:28Speaker 18: when I take my glasses off and I look at
- 53:30Speaker 18: let's say a Christmas tree and all the way all
- 53:33Speaker 18: the lights look, I think it's so pretty. And I
- 53:35Speaker 18: can't show it to anyone because I can't take a
- 53:38Speaker 18: picture of what I'm seeing.
- 53:39Speaker 1: Is it almost like what do they call it? No,
- 53:42Speaker 1: like it's glass, it's kind of blurred.
- 53:45Speaker 3: What's that?
- 53:47Speaker 1: No, frosted?
- 53:49Speaker 18: No, it's not frosted. But the lights get much bigger,
- 53:52Speaker 18: and it's.
- 53:53Speaker 1: So kind of bad together and it's like such.
- 53:55Speaker 18: A lonely idea to go this is so pretty and
- 53:58Speaker 18: I can't share it with anyone.
- 54:01Speaker 1: Another text came. In addition to consulting an audiologist, Sammy
- 54:04Speaker 1: may also want to consult with a vocal coach and
- 54:06Speaker 1: a music teacher. Long process, but with time and patience,
- 54:09Speaker 1: you have the potential from going to from tone deft
- 54:12Speaker 1: to singing like a Disney princess. I believe in you
- 54:15Speaker 1: aim for the Tierra, but it's like, who cares?
- 54:18Speaker 3: Sam?
- 54:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean no, no, not to be a singer,
- 54:23Speaker 1: but I would be curious about what now, Like what,
- 54:26Speaker 1: so what have I been missing?
- 54:28Speaker 15: Yeah?
- 54:29Speaker 1: That we think we didn't know we were missing.
- 54:31Speaker 7: Right, because you hear that with like color black people,
- 54:34Speaker 7: it's like, yeah, the apple is great?
- 54:35Speaker 3: What are you talking about?
- 54:37Speaker 1: And I don't know enough about it?
- 54:38Speaker 3: So maybe you guys do.
- 54:39Speaker 1: Like somebody on the text saying those glasses for color
- 54:42Speaker 1: blind people?
- 54:43Speaker 3: That's fake? Is that? I mean?
- 54:46Speaker 1: Because I didn't heard something.
- 54:48Speaker 5: But I didn't hear the I mean, how could we
- 54:50Speaker 5: even know if it's actually real?
- 54:52Speaker 1: Well, you can test them, because a person can tell
- 54:54Speaker 1: you that if they're seeing somebody.
- 54:57Speaker 5: But we don't know if we like, if they're truly
- 54:59Speaker 5: seeing red. They might be seeing a different shade of
- 55:02Speaker 5: something that you've seen before. But they're asking people, all right,
- 55:06Speaker 5: what color is this? And they can tell you what
- 55:08Speaker 5: it is, truly know what red Isarly, what they do
- 55:14Speaker 5: is they filter point, They filter light to make those
- 55:18Speaker 5: stuff they can see more vivid.
- 55:19Speaker 7: Therefore it has more contrast with other colors.
- 55:22Speaker 1: This is color.
- 55:23Speaker 15: Color blind glasses aren't real. They work as specialized filters.
- 55:27Speaker 1: Which but it's not.
- 55:28Speaker 7: But it's not giving you the power to actually see
- 55:31Speaker 7: the color you can't see.
- 55:32Speaker 15: You're just filtering out the color that you're canceling out
- 55:35Speaker 15: the color that you already you're just differentiating. You are
- 55:38Speaker 15: on the glass or the glasses maker's website.
- 55:40Speaker 1: So I'm on Google AI overview.
- 55:46Speaker 7: Yeah, yes, it's yeah, they're not. They don't work like
- 55:49Speaker 7: work as you can now see everything.
- 55:51Speaker 1: They just make it more.
- 55:55Speaker 5: I don't know what that is.
- 55:56Speaker 1: Careful what you're watching? I'm not sure? All right, Well
- 55:59Speaker 1: what do you show Friday? OK? I asked Sammy to
- 56:01Speaker 1: pick a song because she does like she does like
- 56:05Speaker 1: music and she does have some favorites.
- 56:07Speaker 3: And so here's the song that you pick and you
- 56:09Speaker 3: do sing along to songs in heroes? Yeah?
- 56:11Speaker 14: Yeah, but can we all sing along to this one?
- 56:16Speaker 1: We'll we'll join you to.
- 56:17Speaker 3: Take we join in the chorus.
- 56:19Speaker 18: Right, but like like how you and Greg sometimes do
- 56:21Speaker 18: a duet together?
- 56:22Speaker 1: Like can me and Gina do it? Let's start with
- 56:25Speaker 1: just you.
- 56:25Speaker 15: But now that we all have an understanding, we get it.
- 56:30Speaker 1: So we're on your side. I understand. And this is
- 56:34Speaker 1: one of your favorite songs. Do you got to pick
- 56:36Speaker 1: the song?
- 56:36Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 56:36Speaker 15: The song rules.
- 56:37Speaker 1: It's Alanis Moore Set. Ironic that we did see some
- 56:41Speaker 1: videos of Sammy at the Alanis Moore Set concert singing along.
- 56:45Speaker 5: And I would say that all the comments were positive.
- 56:49Speaker 1: She was having such a great time for this room.
- 56:56Speaker 1: All right, are we ready ready?
- 56:59Speaker 3: What do you show? Friday? Oki? Hey, Alanis Morissett ironic?
- 57:05Speaker 3: You're lead singer for this round of What is Show? Friday?
- 57:07Speaker 3: Joki is Sammy Marino? Here we go and.
- 57:11Speaker 1: Oh ma'am turned ninety eight. He won the lottery and
- 57:19Speaker 1: died the next day.
- 57:22Speaker 14: It's a black fly.
- 57:25Speaker 1: Near Chardonnay.
- 57:28Speaker 18: It's a death row part in two minutes too late,
- 57:33Speaker 18: and isn't it I ironic?
- 57:36Speaker 1: Don't you think.
- 57:37Speaker 3: Everybody it's.
- 57:49Speaker 4: It's it's such a say.
- 57:58Speaker 18: It's here, mister, play is safe?
- 58:04Speaker 14: What's afraid to fly?
- 58:06Speaker 18: He packed his suit case, Yes, his kids, goodbye. He
- 58:12Speaker 18: waited his whole damn line to take that line, and
- 58:18Speaker 18: that's the plane crash down.
- 58:20Speaker 1: Thought, well, it isn't it nice?
- 58:23Speaker 14: And isn't it ironic? Such a thing?
- 58:29Speaker 4: It's not right, it's afraid. It's like this funny way.
- 58:54Speaker 18: Of speaking up on you when you think everything's okay and.
- 58:58Speaker 1: Everything's gone wrong y.
- 59:03Speaker 18: And life is a funny way of helping you out
- 59:06Speaker 18: when you think everything's gone wrong and everything blows.
- 59:10Speaker 2: Up in your face.
- 59:13Speaker 18: Itam a traffic jam when you're already late and no smoke.
- 59:22Speaker 14: Signe on your cigarette. Great, it's like.
- 59:26Speaker 18: Ten thousand spoons when all you need isn't knife.
- 59:31Speaker 14: It's meeting the man of my dreams and then meeting is.
- 59:35Speaker 1: A beautiful wife.
- 59:41Speaker 14: Don't you think I'm a little too ironic? And yeah,
- 59:47Speaker 14: I really do say it's.
- 59:53Speaker 1: A it's a great such a day.
- 1:00:18Speaker 14: Like this is a funny way you.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: Like it is a funny, funny way.
- 1:00:28Speaker 14: Of helping you out, helping you out.
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: Why what.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: Show we're getting overall good reviews. Oh yeah, overall good reviews.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: On what do You Show froddy Oki, Alanis mor said,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: ironic one of her favorite songs. She got to pick
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: the song.
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: Did you put that.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: Song on her?
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: Uh okay? Now here here's one that not so much bad.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: This one says you guys. Letting Sammy be the lead
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: singer is like when the football team what's the special
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: needs kids suit up and score the touchdown? It is
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: like that very nice?
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: Why do you have the text in?
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: Like?
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: I hate those videos?
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: It's like I mean that, you know, because the the
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: idea of it's nice. It is, but like how but
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: like I would I'm thinking I'm the kid. I wouldn't
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: want that because you would know, Yes she would, Yes,
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: she would? Would you would? Yeah, of course they don't know.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: You would know. But everybody's just falling over five yards
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: away from you some sort of force.
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: I'm tapping out, and but what are you tapping out on?
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: Like I'm tapping out on.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: People freaking out about quote microplastics. If I hear the
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: term microplastics one more time, my head's gonna explode.
- 1:01:59Speaker 7: Because I has a solution and no one's even really
- 1:02:01Speaker 7: tell you what's going on.
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: And they're like, all those microplastics are being absorbed into
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: your body and okay, so what shall we do?
- 1:02:08Speaker 7: So you're wearing a starve, what are you doing?
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: But it seems to be like a strainer in your throat.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: Yeah, there was like a there was there was a
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: friend of ours who all of a sudden swore off
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: drinking any kind of bottled water unless it was like
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: they came in the glass.
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: Yeah, because I was told there were, you know.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: Thirteen the equivalent of thirteen credit cards worth of plastic
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: floating around my body.
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: Really okay thirteen, But also the damage is done, So
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: why switch to bottles now?
- 1:02:36Speaker 5: Well, if you've enjoying them.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: Oh that was because that was the other thing that
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: popped up. There was a thing about the guy who
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: invented scrub daddy.
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: Mm hmm.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: He goes, well, because I used it, because and he
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: was explaining how he does it, and they were saying, hey, look,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: don't use mister clean magic erasers. Oh yeah, I saw that,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: and don't use scrub daddies because the scrub daddy is
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: whatever the material is, and it breaks down and those
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: little pieces of the plastic or whatever they go into
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: the drain and you're sink and then down and it
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: goes into the groundwater. And then the groundwater is used
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: on farms and whatever, and then it's in your food.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: And so you're like, you're getting plastics through the zucchini.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: Now that it was the farm where the water from
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: the mister scrub daddy thing.
- 1:03:17Speaker 5: I can't scrub Daddy's destroying our food.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: Be extra cream.
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: Yeah, So I'm like, still it tastes good tapping out.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: Yeah, and I any kind of talk about microplastics, you're out.
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: I don't care. I think the conversation about diet sodas
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: or coke zeros or whatever, don't care.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: Enjoy it turned out to be completely bs.
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: Yeah, I you know, I enjoy them.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: I'll drink them, you know. Oh but what about the
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: blah blah blah, I can't see best.
- 1:03:42Speaker 15: If you feed one rat eighteen thousand diet cokes, it
- 1:03:46Speaker 15: might die.
- 1:03:47Speaker 7: Well, it was that first, and then it was the
- 1:03:48Speaker 7: weill it triggers your your appetites, reflux whatever.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: Anyway. Yeah, well, anyway, because the yeah, whether whether it's
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: true sugar or artificial sweetener, that sweetness you get addicted
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: to the sweetness, and so it makes you crave other
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: sweet things. And when you're you know, Greg, you could
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: talk about a will power as I guess, can I,
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: And it means it when it makes you crave these
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: other things. That's when. Then, So it's not that the
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: diet sod itself is making you fat with the argument
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: was that it would trigger your craving for other sweet stuffer.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: You can keep yourself from the peanut butter minems stop
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: because you crave what you eat. So I'm tapping out
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: on any kind of chat of microplastics or mention of microplastics.
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: You could stop it with that.
- 1:04:30Speaker 15: I am so tapping out on just this. Seeing the
- 1:04:34Speaker 15: faces of Ariana Grande and Cynthia Rivo, I'm done.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: I'm done with them.
- 1:04:38Speaker 15: So I don't want to be I don't want to
- 1:04:39Speaker 15: see their DEMI, pan sexual, non binary, whatever, because you
- 1:04:43Speaker 15: know they're in a relationship now they are like a
- 1:04:46Speaker 15: gemy non binary, non sexual pan yeah, and tempting to
- 1:04:52Speaker 15: or like seeing what that might look like for then
- 1:04:55Speaker 15: I don't care.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: I don't care. I'm tapped. I'm tapping out. I'm tapping
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: out on the two of them. I anymore. You said
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: that you weren't interested in seeing the new Wicked.
- 1:05:04Speaker 15: Burnt all these bitches.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: She's supposed to go see the new Wicked with her
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: husband and her step son.
- 1:05:10Speaker 15: Yeah, and I did not buy these tickets.
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I know.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: We tried to convince her earlier that hey, you know what,
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: it's fine for couples to get like, let them have
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: some quality. I remember bonding with my father going to
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: a musical. I can't imagine. I'm trying to think of, like,
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: is there a world where my dad and I would
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: have ever gone to Wicked together? I mean I do
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: like they do go to a lot of a lot
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: of sporting events without you.
- 1:05:37Speaker 5: Went with your dad to go see the wiz that Yeah, yeah.
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: Why were you not burnt out by the mania of the.
- 1:05:43Speaker 15: First What I'm saying, I am done with these broads.
- 1:05:47Speaker 15: I'm taked out.
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: I can't take it.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: It was your thing, I know, but I can't.
- 1:05:53Speaker 15: It didn't It was just an avalanche of non stop them.
- 1:05:56Speaker 15: And like Steve I said, it's unavoidable. So if I'm
- 1:05:59Speaker 15: getting targeted ads, I don't know, you know the rest of.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: You, I know, are getting whatever target for instance, without
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: seeing that crap.
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: Everywhere wicked Deyoda right now.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: Text coming over to two ninety seven. So much content
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: nowadays is what to avoid and fear. I'm just tapped
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: out on that. Yeah, yeah, I agree at that.
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: I agree. I agree.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: That's why I enjoy a lot of the Instagram stuff
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: because I find more just straight joy entertainment type of
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: stuff on Instagram compared to like what you see or
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: hear about in other places.
- 1:06:29Speaker 7: From numerous people that it's it's mostly like happy like this, yeff.
- 1:06:32Speaker 7: Because I don't look at instagrams other than to log
- 1:06:35Speaker 7: in into to send stuff and post stuff. But what
- 1:06:37Speaker 7: I do get suggested is like, oh, there's Kevin Smith
- 1:06:40Speaker 7: with his mom and she and she survived and that.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: Was a lot his mom passed away. Oh well, damn it. Yah,
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: you know you didn't get the update updated.
- 1:06:48Speaker 7: At least he had well, he had had nice, like
- 1:06:50Speaker 7: nice last couple days with her and that was really
- 1:06:52Speaker 7: nice for him.
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: But I mean I saw a great video yesterday of
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: dogs who had done something bad, like what did you do?
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: And like the crazy looks and stuff that they look
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: so guilty hilarious. All right, So what are you tapping
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: tapping out on? You can give us a call eight
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: seven seven forty four, Woodie, like, what's your TapouT?
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: This?
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: It's the wood Show, So what are you tapping out on?
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: I'm tapping out anything, any discussion, any person that wants
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: to sit there and have a conversation about just the
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: term micro plastics. I've I got to put it in there.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: It's like a band term on the social media, so
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: it doesn't even pop up. Don't care, don't care. I
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: just can't take it any more.
- 1:07:34Speaker 15: That and then you said, I'm tapping out on Ariana
- 1:07:38Speaker 15: Grande and Cynthia Rivo together doing the interviews together.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: And somebody said that they're a big fan of Wicked
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: and they were excited for the movie. But those two
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: women are just getting shoved down everybody's throat. Yeah, we're done. Yeah,
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: And I think it's I think it's been kind of
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: a turn off yea for even the people who are
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: into it. It's been over a year.
- 1:07:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm the tides are turning.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: You don't have to let us know how it is.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: She's doing tonight under protest.
- 1:08:06Speaker 3: She's gonna love it and be all in.
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: Really, I've actually heard it that it's it is one
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: of those things where they did too much with it
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: because they've it's not designed to be this long, but
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: they said, hey, we got a bunch of suckers out there.
- 1:08:17Speaker 15: They always do that, like, oh it's part one and
- 1:08:19Speaker 15: part two, you're apart.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: Well, my wife said that she read a lot of
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: the criticism because she's a super fan, of course, but
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: the criticism is.
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: That it's just not as fun.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: Well, yeah, because if you're familiar at all with the story,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: like this is the part of the story that gets dark.
- 1:08:33Speaker 15: Yeah, and in plays and stuff, the second act is
- 1:08:35Speaker 15: never fun.
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: Yeah, it's sure.
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, So what are you tapping on on?
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: Greg Gory?
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: Overall? This just in general dancing?
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: Ye you dance again?
- 1:08:48Speaker 3: Well I never danced to begin with. But the stuff
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: people used to do alone at home, behind closed doors
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: while embarrassed, like now you're posting it and it's.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: Just with the caption dance like no one is watching.
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: They still do exactly.
- 1:09:03Speaker 5: I thought they that whole dancing on social media things.
- 1:09:05Speaker 5: Oh they did die down.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: Dude. You need to come to the gym at my
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: apartment because our little yoga room is now a full
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: time dance studio thanks to TikTok. Because all these idiots
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: suddenly think they're doing background for Britney Spears and I
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: every day.
- 1:09:18Speaker 5: The TikTok dance stuff has significantly died down.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: Though, Well there were two things, because you had you
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: had the TikTok dance stuff when that first came out,
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: and people were doing all the time, and it coincided
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: with the timing of all the Fortnite dances that every
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: kid was doing, So you had the TikTok dances and
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: Fortnite dances all happening at the same time, and like
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: everywhere you turn there's some idiot dancing. Dude.
- 1:09:40Speaker 7: I still I'll give him credit because he's a six
- 1:09:42Speaker 7: year old boy, But my nephew was doing every day
- 1:09:44Speaker 7: we were doing bowling and he's Fortnite dancing.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: That was my son at the time because he was
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: of that age. Yeah, and now he'll deny that he
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: ever did it, but I'm like, dude, I was there
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: for it. I'll give him a pass because he's six,
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: but I'll not when you're twenty six.
- 1:09:55Speaker 3: No. Yeah, correct. And also cups in general, just cups,
- 1:09:59Speaker 3: it's a recept for a beverage to enter your mouth.
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: So if it's a bear or a Stanley or a
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: special edition. It's so cute, it's oh God, like it's
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: you drink water out of it? Who cares?
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: All day? I'm tapping out on the word unprecedented times.
- 1:10:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: For a while there the word like gaslighting or gasld
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: like that that seemed to be everywhere for everything, and
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: people not even using it correct, like.
- 1:10:31Speaker 15: You're just lying, you're not gaslighting.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: Yes, I'm tapping out on the ick. Oh yeah, that
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: gives me the eck. Tapping out on podcasts. Everybody's got one.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: They're no longer special. They all pretty much suck.
- 1:10:46Speaker 5: Okay, you just find the ones they like.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: Yeah, that's hard to find because there's so many gets
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: lost in this, like, oh, we run ads for search
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: your library and they say two hundred thousand.
- 1:10:59Speaker 5: I listened to may be about three.
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I have a couple, but like there's nothing.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: There's one. There's a sports guy out a set of
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: out of Pittsburgh, Mark Badden. I listen to his podcast
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: on a regular and that's that's pretty much it. But
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: that's it, Yeah, because it's it's too difficult. There's a
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: thousand of these things, thousands, and to find one that's
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: any good.
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: It might be a topic it hurns in, but is
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: it any good?
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: No? Probably not. Like how many stupid podcasts you need
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: about like Marvel movies, yeah right, or about you know,
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: whatever it is you're into. There's a thousand different things.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: There's a bunch of I love aviation and like the
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: Pilot's License. I've been listening to a lot of that stuff.
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: Some of them are awful, awful.
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: I wonder if there's one about sushi or something there is.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: Eight seven seven forty four. Woody hit us up with
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: the text over to two two nine eighty seven. All right,
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: welcome back. It is the Woody Show. You've tapped in.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: Clearly you're here. Thank you for doing that. Phones are
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: open eight seven seven in forty four. We have a
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: question on the table. It also send us a text
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: over to two to nine eight seven. What are you
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: tapping out on? Tapped out? I can't stop it with microplastics.
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: I can't get myself to care. I know, I just can't. Yeah,
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: I'm over it.
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: What about you, man? That's what are you tapping out on?
- 1:12:18Speaker 5: I know this is kind of generic and the go to,
- 1:12:20Speaker 5: but I ramped it up on the zero politics talk
- 1:12:26Speaker 5: like I used to, just like if you're talking to
- 1:12:28Speaker 5: me outside of like what we do and just like
- 1:12:32Speaker 5: in life, and you just want to bring up politics
- 1:12:35Speaker 5: and talk about it. I used to entertain it and
- 1:12:37Speaker 5: let the people vent whatever they want event but I'm
- 1:12:39Speaker 5: just like this over it.
- 1:12:42Speaker 3: I'll stop it down.
- 1:12:43Speaker 5: I'll shut it down immediately.
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: And you know you don't.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: Just stay quiet or don't participate like you will shut
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: What do you say?
- 1:12:49Speaker 5: Oh, oh yeah, that's cool. Did you see this? Do
- 1:12:53Speaker 5: you know there's like this like a toddler, Yeah, like
- 1:12:56Speaker 5: in media, because I just don't care. It's just another year,
- 1:13:01Speaker 5: another thing, nothing ever changes like that. Why am I
- 1:13:05Speaker 5: going to waste my time, my life that and things
- 1:13:08Speaker 5: that I can entertain myself with outside of that by
- 1:13:12Speaker 5: just talking about it constantly.
- 1:13:14Speaker 7: And it's to that point because it happens a lot
- 1:13:16Speaker 7: where I'm in a group setting and someone will come
- 1:13:18Speaker 7: in with a political take and they just assume that
- 1:13:21Speaker 7: the other five or six people they're talking to think
- 1:13:23Speaker 7: the exact same way they do. They say to say
- 1:13:25Speaker 7: something as if it's gospel, and I like, I'm not
- 1:13:28Speaker 7: going to start a debate if I agree or disagree
- 1:13:30Speaker 7: with it. But it's so weird that people like you're
- 1:13:32Speaker 7: so oblivious that they think everyone must think of Well.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: Those people want a debate too, because that's their entertainment.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: So I saw something, you know, I'm a collector of quotes.
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: I saw a really good quote. The quote is the
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: pawns hate each other, while the ones playing chess are
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: actually good friends. Oh yeah, okay, So this goes to
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: the whole thing, like moret you like to watch WWE
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: or whatever. These guys don't hate each other, right, it's
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: a it's a show. They're all making money. It's the
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: same thing with the politicians. The politicians, these guys don't
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: hate each other.
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: They don't.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: They hang out all the time, they're friends. It's all
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: theater for the game of power and money. That's what
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: That's what all boys down. So they they will work
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: to get the ponds. The citizens us hating each other, dividing,
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: while the ones who are playing the politicians, they're actually
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: good friends. They're playing they're playing all of us.
- 1:14:21Speaker 5: So in the meantime, you're wasting your life, you're ruin
- 1:14:24Speaker 5: relationships with friends, and you're stressing out over stuff. Like dude,
- 1:14:29Speaker 5: try to figure out where are you going to but
- 1:14:30Speaker 5: your next vacation.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: So you're you're cutting off family members and you're losing
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: friends and stuff over two different sides of people that don't.
- 1:14:38Speaker 8: Care about you.
- 1:14:39Speaker 3: Don't care.
- 1:14:40Speaker 7: You're also just like the jersey exchanges after football games
- 1:14:44Speaker 7: or basketball games would because're supposed to hate each other.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: Jerks. I'll get a little tear.
- 1:14:50Speaker 3: It's cool.
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: What are you tapping out on sea best? You know
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: something very specific? Uh, the show Severance.
- 1:14:58Speaker 3: It's too bad.
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: Wait, it's not it on exactly. So I'm on Apple.
- 1:15:02Speaker 7: I have my Apple TV Plus subscription, which, by the way,
- 1:15:04Speaker 7: month at a time. People rotate your subscriptions, people can play,
- 1:15:07Speaker 7: and I got to spend too much. Just do one
- 1:15:09Speaker 7: month at a time free subscription. I'm watching Pluribus on
- 1:15:11Speaker 7: Apple TV, which is very which is very good. So
- 1:15:13Speaker 7: I thought, oh, Severance, I didn't finish the second season,
- 1:15:16Speaker 7: put it back on, like oh, because.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: It's it's a very weird and like cerebral show.
- 1:15:21Speaker 7: But in order to keep making it more interesting, you
- 1:15:24Speaker 7: gotta get more weird, you gotta get more cerebral. Suddenly
- 1:15:27Speaker 7: you're teleporting to the middle of the snow in the
- 1:15:29Speaker 7: woods and everybody is talking strange and everybody's and nobody
- 1:15:32Speaker 7: knows what everybody else is doing.
- 1:15:33Speaker 15: So you never even finished not.
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: The second season.
- 1:15:35Speaker 7: No, I was like, if five six episodes in, like Ellen,
- 1:15:38Speaker 7: there's not there's goats and that's Look, I get it,
- 1:15:40Speaker 7: you're weird, you're strange.
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: I get it.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: Your Ben still are You're real artsy because he's the director.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: Uh No, Now at a certain point, you're just not
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: You're just being weird for the sake of weird. You're
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: not making sense, You're just you're you're eating your own tail.
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: So sorry, seference you're going which particular you always have
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: like usually a particular group too, that you've tapped out on,
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: like whether it's like the steampunk people any given time.
- 1:16:01Speaker 7: See that would that would that would imply that I
- 1:16:03Speaker 7: was ever into those people, you know, yeah, yeah, but like.
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: You maybe have tolerated them before. Yeah, and now it's like, okay,
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: I mean I'm using that as just an example something
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: I know that well.
- 1:16:12Speaker 7: I would say that, like I would say streamers or
- 1:16:14Speaker 7: the worship of streamers. Yes, people live streamers, and they'll say, oh,
- 1:16:19Speaker 7: look at so and so was live streaming from blah
- 1:16:20Speaker 7: blah blah, and I'll watch them, Okay, I'll check it out.
- 1:16:24Speaker 3: See what it is.
- 1:16:24Speaker 7: You be something for this weekend audio. And it's never interesting.
- 1:16:28Speaker 5: Yes, it's like it's just the clips that make them popular.
- 1:16:31Speaker 5: It's not the actual like stream itself because it's so boring, right,
- 1:16:35Speaker 5: But they have people that will take go, sit through
- 1:16:38Speaker 5: the four hours and find that fifteen seconds that was
- 1:16:41Speaker 5: actually maybe entertaining or funny and then put it out there.
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: Kids watch this for three four hours at a time.
- 1:16:46Speaker 3: I read.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: I read a thing about like Joe Rogan for example,
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: Like if you listen to a Joe Rogan show from
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: start to finish, it is so long and there's so
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: many big long stretches. Yeah, I mean, and I get
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: it. It works for him and he's gonna do whatever he
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: wants to do and God bless him, and he's killed
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: it and he's made a billion dollars doing it or whatever.
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: But what made him.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: Super popular is that they were taking these clips and
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: like so you'll see even if you don't listen or
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: what it'll it'll pop up in your feet. You'll get
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: and you'll see a little clip of him talking with
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: Elon or whoever the hell he had in that tag
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: of their day. Yeah, like Tom Segura, whoever the hell
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: was just done with him like like that that'll that'll
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: pop up and you'll see that little two minutes and
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: that was really funny or really interesting or really whatever.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: But man, if you go and then oh unlet's that
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: whole episode, Like good God, take a whole day to hear.
- 1:17:34Speaker 5: But that's what's happening with these live streamers that are
- 1:17:36Speaker 5: on Kick and Switch and stuff like that.
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: Yeah, Sammy, what are you tapping out on?
- 1:17:40Speaker 18: I'm tapping out on other people sending me reels like
- 1:17:45Speaker 18: on Instagram the videos because people will send me you know, three,
- 1:17:49Speaker 18: four or five however, many from different people. And now
- 1:17:52Speaker 18: it's a minute, two minutes, three minutes of my time
- 1:17:54Speaker 18: added up by ten. And I'm like, I'm not sitting
- 1:17:57Speaker 18: here watching all of these.
- 1:17:58Speaker 15: Now, after a response, you're in a relationship.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: Now, that's how relationship works. Yeah, that is is a relationship.
- 1:18:04Speaker 3: I was setting each other memes and reel.
- 1:18:06Speaker 18: I'm okay with memes because it's quick and you read
- 1:18:08Speaker 18: it and you're like, oh haha, that's funny or whatever.
- 1:18:10Speaker 18: You can respond, But when you're sitting there, you have
- 1:18:11Speaker 18: to watch a whole reel, and there's multiple and I'm
- 1:18:14Speaker 18: getting them from multiple different people too, and it just
- 1:18:17Speaker 18: takes up so much more of my.
- 1:18:19Speaker 5: Time thinking about you.
- 1:18:20Speaker 14: I'll just read be like, yeah.
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: I'm not doing this, I actually enjoy this.
- 1:18:24Speaker 3: I'm about senators.
- 1:18:25Speaker 5: Yeah, wow, geez too much.
- 1:18:28Speaker 18: There's no way that you thought I was going to
- 1:18:29Speaker 18: like that many things, and that it's all urgent right now,
- 1:18:33Speaker 18: very rarely.
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: Well, I send Sammy something, I'll see stuff all the time.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: I go, oh, Samy might like that, but for whatever reason,
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: it's weird. I kind of I feel like I kind
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: of already knew that, Like she wouldn't she doesn't care,
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: And I'm kind of wasting my time setting this kind
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: of thing because every once in a while there'll be
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: something super Christmasy or super you know, crochet or something
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: like that somehow, somehow pops up. And but like when
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: it comes to Greg and Gina, I see stuff and
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: I know the number one that they'll love it. Never
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: took the'll appreciate it all their day.
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: No, we're kind of addicted to you.
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: It's crazy. Yeah, we have a freesome going on there
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: on the on the Real Meme Exchange that never ends it,
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: does it? I can't help it. See it doesn't.
- 1:19:16Speaker 14: That's why I'm tapping out.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: But never but you see it, it's like, oh this
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: is perfect eight seven seven forty four. What are you
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: tapping out on? Hit us up with a text over
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: to two to nine eight seven and let us know
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: what you think. We'll take a quick break more.
- 1:19:30Speaker 3: What the show is next? Hang on, I got.
