  Speaker 2: but there are some churches that are still faithful. God

  Speaker 2: will always have a remnant, and church is God's idea.

  Speaker 2: to God and say I don't like your organization, right, No,

  Speaker 2: we have to get in and find that faithful remnant

  Speaker 2: and be a part of it. Amen as the Holy

  Speaker 2: Spirit to guide us. Now, this is hard because Jesus

  Speaker 2: says his sheep know his voice. This means, in this

  Speaker 2: noisy world filled with false teachers, social media noise, and

  Speaker 2: counterfeit truth, we've got to tune our hearts to his frequency.

  Speaker 2: The same way you recognize your mom's and your dad's
• 8:56
  Speaker 2: voice in a crowd. We need to get so familiar

  Speaker 2: with God's word that we instantly recognize when he speaks. Now,

  Speaker 2: if you're struggling to discern God's voice, this is your reminder.

  Speaker 2: stay connected to the shepherd. Amen. Now let's go to

  Speaker 2: verse seven through verse ten. This is good. Verse seven,

  Speaker 2: then Jesus said to them again, most assuredly, I say

  Speaker 2: to you, I am the door of the sheep. All

  Speaker 2: whoever came before me are thieves and ros But the

  Speaker 2: refers to Satan and false shepherds lead people into destruction.

  Speaker 2: About Jesus's mission is life, and that more abundantly abundant

  Speaker 2: life isn't about luxury. It's about overflow, peace that the

  Speaker 2: That's a beautiful illustration of the heart of God. This

  Speaker 2: is a heart of Jesus, sacrificial, protective and personal. Jesus

  Speaker 2: is in some distant leader He's personal. He knows your name,

  Speaker 2: he knows my name, and I find comfort in that

  Speaker 2: he knows our struggles, he knows our scars. While the

  Speaker 2: world runs when things get hard, Jesus runs towards us. Hallelujah.

  Speaker 2: That's the good shepherd we serve so today. Trust his

  Speaker 2: leadership even when you don't understand his directions, hallelujah. Even

  Speaker 2: when it seems difficult or hard. That's where we have

  Speaker 2: to a crucify our flesh and trust and believe. It's

  Speaker 2: not easy. I'm not gonna lie. I still struggle at

  Speaker 2: times to trust and believe God for certain areas and

  Speaker 2: certain things. I wish I could say different, But I

  Speaker 2: gotta be honest and I gotta be transparent as well. Then, Now,

  Speaker 2: what I really like about this passage that we're reading.

  Speaker 2: This gives us a glimpse and an idea of how

  Speaker 2: our walk in relationship with God should actually look like.

  Speaker 2: From one God relates to us as sheep. Now out

  Speaker 2: out of the animal kingdom. The sheep are the only

  Speaker 2: ones who need a shepherd. The sheep are the only
• 17:42
  Speaker 2: ones who cannot survive out in the wild on their own.

  Speaker 2: They don't have the instinct by themselves to make it. Actually,

  Speaker 2: I'm trying to be nice, but the truth is, sheep

  Speaker 2: are just plain dumb animals, right, And this is what

  Speaker 2: the Bible refers us as think about it, as dominant
• 18:14
  Speaker 2: as we think we are on this planet. And yes,

  Speaker 2: the Bible did say subdue the earth. Right, mankind, we

  Speaker 2: have dominion over the animal kingdom. We can fly, we
• 18:31
  Speaker 2: can we have boats, we can travel over the ocean

  Speaker 2: and sea in land. We have cars, we have great inventions.

  Speaker 2: Man has accomplished great things on this earth. But even
• 18:49
  Speaker 2: after all of his accomplishments, he still is just a
• 18:53
  Speaker 2: dumb sheep when it comes to the spiritual realm. Right,

  Speaker 2: the Bible says that God created worlds. That's plural. This
• 19:05
  Speaker 2: is not the only world in the universe. Here people
• 19:10
  Speaker 2: say all the time, the people who believes in aliens,
• 19:14
  Speaker 2: the people who believe in aliens, they always say, well,
• 19:17
  Speaker 2: we cannot be the only one in the universe. Well,
• 19:19
  Speaker 2: we're not. Just read the Bible. There's another world. There's
• 19:24
  Speaker 2: a spiritual dimension, and there are two forces that are
• 19:28
  Speaker 2: working light and dark. And the battlefield is in our minds.

  Speaker 2: Our hearts are desires. That's why we have to cast

  Speaker 2: down imaginations. We have to take every thought captive. We

  Speaker 2: have to keep our hearts clean, and our only job

  Speaker 2: is to believe in Christ. Hey man, now, being that

  Speaker 2: we're dumb sheep, we need to stop being prideful. We

  Speaker 2: need to stop being arrogant. We need to stop thinking

  Speaker 2: that we can make it on our own. The Bible

  Speaker 2: tells us that our heart is desperately wicked. Who can

  Speaker 2: know it but love. The worst type of deception out

  Speaker 2: there is self deception. And every time you get away

  Speaker 2: from the word of God, you're deceiving yourself. When you're

  Speaker 2: leaning on your own understanding, that's where the dumb sheep

  Speaker 2: apart comes in. Right, Bob says, there's a way unto

  Speaker 2: a man that seems right, but the end thereof is

  Speaker 2: is that you need a shepherd. I need a shepherd.

  Speaker 2: There is a need for us to be led. Who's

  Speaker 2: leading you today? Just think about what you think about,

  Speaker 2: what desires are leading you. What is the master passion,

  Speaker 2: the master desire in your heart? If it's not Jesus,

  Speaker 2: The good news is that Jesus himself is our good shepherd.

  Speaker 2: He wants to be. He's qualified, he has the capacity.

  Speaker 2: He is the only one who could truly lead God's people.

  Speaker 2: for the sheep. He is not a harlan. Watch out

  Speaker 2: That is not true. You don't see anyone in scripture
