- 0:12The thing is though, now that you say that, I can't see it.
- 0:14You're absolutely right. There were time, but let's.
- 0:16Let's talk about that first. Because I was going to go in a
- 0:18totally. Different direction.
- 0:20You can make as much money as you need and work your way
- 0:23towards any ship in the game. They they were trying to cash in
- 0:27off of that nostalgia and that hype.
- 0:34So loud as shit is the appropriate amount of loudness.
- 0:38Oh, OK, well, in Levsky no one can hear you scream.
- 0:43I'm not going to test that. Well, we're doing the show right
- 0:46now live in 4.4 PTU from Levsky breaking a cardinal rule of
- 0:54Dukes. What?
- 0:57What? What is that cardinal rule
- 0:58there, Duke? I do it live.
- 1:01I, I don't, I don't, I don't mess around with PTU usually not
- 1:06in ages. You know, I don't want, I don't
- 1:08really jump into PTU to see the new things.
- 1:10I like to wait until live to see the new things so that it's
- 1:13real, because then it's real. You know, it's not fake.
- 1:17PTU is fake, meaningless. No, no, no, no, no.
- 1:22It's real. No.
- 1:24No, it's not real. Nothing's that goes into PTU
- 1:26that doesn't eventually make it into live.
- 1:30No, no, but I mean it, you know, it's, it's, it's not, you know,
- 1:33this isn't, this isn't really who I am.
- 1:35This isn't Duke. This is just a pretend Duke
- 1:37who's testing stuff. Oh, 'cause it's not, it's not
- 1:40the real Duke. It's the pressure.
- 1:44No, I'm not feeling peer. Pressure.
- 1:45No. That's why I'm here tonight.
- 1:48It was peer pressure. I I caved to peer pressure.
- 1:51I'll be honest, quicker and easier than I ever have.
- 1:55You know, since since giving giving girls rides home in my
- 1:59car back in sophomore year of high school.
- 2:02Oh, what kind of car? It was it was AI made a couple
- 2:06choices. It was a a white Dodge Intrepid.
- 2:11OK, the intrepid. Yeah, and a green Ford Explorer.
- 2:17And a green Ford Explorer. I bet the Explorer was a pain in
- 2:20the ass. No, it was, it was pretty good.
- 2:25Oh yeah, backseat was not as big as the Intrepid.
- 2:29Though very, very interesting. Very, very interesting.
- 2:34Yeah, but anyway, PTUPTU. But anyway, back into PTU, into
- 2:38the Star Citizen PTU live. This week's question.
- 2:41We have a question every week, and this week's question is 4.4
- 2:47is Levsky. Levsky is 4.4 and that's
- 2:53because. Question mark.
- 2:54When you go into the 4.4 PTU and you take a look at that Nick
- 3:00solar system, you very quickly realize one thing.
- 3:05It is all just Levski. It is a star and it is Levski.
- 3:13Star Levski. Yeah.
- 3:15Yeah, this is the Levski patch for sure.
- 3:21And I gotta say, I'm I'm not upset with that.
- 3:23Yeah, I was gonna say it's, you know, it's OK.
- 3:27It's a new, it's a new system. It's a cool new place that
- 3:30people have been looking forward to for a while.
- 3:32Cool new old place. Yeah, let's get it exist, but I
- 3:37never experienced it. Everyone I came in, I guess
- 3:39right when they took it out. Oh really?
- 3:42Are you that new? Yeah.
- 3:45What? 3 point 3.14 Wow, my first
- 3:49experience I was in Zeno threat dude, I I hopped in some randoms
- 3:53hurricane and it was like slideshow Zeno threat.
- 3:58Yeah, yeah. But everyone's like, oh, you
- 4:01should have said Levsky. Back in the day, back in my day,
- 4:05I haven't flown around outside yet, you know, I'm still, I'm
- 4:07just, I'm at teachers right now. But I, I don't know, I might
- 4:11prefer the old Levsky I We'll have to see.
- 4:15I'll wait until I actually fly around to decide.
- 4:17But based on the videos, I mean, I miss the old.
- 4:20The old Lesky asteroid was more of a like a planetoid.
- 4:24It was a big spherical asteroid with like little outposts and
- 4:28stuff around it. Whereas this is kind of like an
- 4:31asteroid chunk. It's more of a chunk.
- 4:36I haven't. I haven't quite experienced it
- 4:38while we're in here. Let me let's find each other
- 4:41while while we're in here. OK, I'm at teachers right now.
- 4:45Oh. You're at Teachers.
- 4:46I'll meet you at Teachers. OK.
- 4:48So the cool thing about Levski, I think is #1 how big it is,
- 4:54because it's enormous. It's.
- 4:57Like, yeah. I, I there's a lot of elevators.
- 5:00So one of the elevators is the lift and that takes you to each
- 5:06like station. It's like it's basically the
- 5:08metro of of the of the station. I haven't done that yet.
- 5:13Oh, you? How'd you get the teachers then?
- 5:16You can get the teachers straight from your from your
- 5:19hanger. Oh, it's on the same level as
- 5:21the hanger. No, no, it's a different level.
- 5:25You just there's an elevator option from your hanger.
- 5:31OK, I think. I I think that's where I.
- 5:33Am right now and you can go to teachers and teachers is like
- 5:37this really, really cool shop and there's a lot of really cool
- 5:41shops on Levsky. That's the thing that I've
- 5:44noticed right away is all the shops are much, much like
- 5:47there's more stuff in them. There's lots of like
- 5:50decorations. Does look good.
- 5:54I know that's what that's what you're itching for there, Duke.
- 5:58Decorations, windows. Really I'm I'm looking around
- 6:00for some windows right now. Oh well, you'll be in luck on
- 6:03Levsky. Lots of windows.
- 6:04They want you to look out at the at the asteroids.
- 6:09It's the rocks. I remember there used to be some
- 6:11cool windows right next to the, what's his name, Anthony Tanaka
- 6:16statue. I think they did that again in
- 6:21this version. So.
- 6:22Is that that's the statue sitting out in like the front
- 6:25and he's holding a child? Yeah, Yep.
- 6:28Holding the kid, holding the kid who said he didn't want to go
- 6:31back to work and so killed him. They killed that poor kid.
- 6:36Who killed him? The the corrupt Messrs, security
- 6:42forces, you know, fascists, basically your, you know, your
- 6:45favorite. So it's I feel like we're going
- 6:49to need a little, maybe a little bit of history of this love ski
- 6:51station. Yeah.
- 6:55OK. Well, Duke, I'm going to I'm
- 6:57going to bring on our next, our first caller for the day.
- 7:00Is there anything you want to say before I bring this guy in
- 7:02up here? You know, just that if if I were
- 7:07to guess, you know, if I were to flying around the verse and
- 7:09expecting where I would run into this guest, this is definitely
- 7:13on the other top of my list. I would expect to find them, you
- 7:16know, sprawled out on a couch here at Teachers in Levsky.
- 7:20In Levsky, well, we're going to bring them on up.
- 7:23That is Cosmic Hobo. Cosmic Hobo.
- 7:26Welcome to Open Comms Radio, your Star Citizen Colin show.
- 7:29This week's Question 4.4 is Levsky.
- 7:34Levski is 4.4. That's a yes.
- 7:43All right. Thank you.
- 7:43Next caller. All right, that's a great job,
- 7:45everyone. That's a great show.
- 7:47Yeah, well, it was a reference to Ace Ventura Pet Detective 9
- 7:54or any Spinkel. Reference.
- 7:55We're branching out with our references all right.
- 7:57Aging I was. Never an Ace Ventura fan to be
- 7:59honest. Me neither, me neither.
- 8:03I I grew to like Jim Carrey later, but we have a big on on
- 8:07the pet he's. Had some good roles but I feel
- 8:10like his agent early on put him on some kind of not my with.
- 8:16My. Dramas Cable guy.
- 8:17Cable guy is my top. Oh, no.
- 8:21Yeah, I. Mean.
- 8:22Early Jim Carrey's is is the best, but how about you been
- 8:26You've been hanging around Levsky lots of cables and Levsky
- 8:30lots of cable guys, not so many pet detectives because it's a
- 8:33giant asteroid. What do you think?
- 8:36How you feeling about this? I haven't spent as much time as
- 8:40I'd like, mostly because the earlier patches were they're
- 8:46rough like wave one, like the patches during the first kind of
- 8:51the 1st 2:00 or so after wave one opened.
- 8:55The frames are awful. There are rocks all over my
- 8:58hanger. Crashes wasn't great honestly.
- 9:01And of course there was a huge influx of people, but just like,
- 9:05I'll come back. And then I came back and I think
- 9:09it was 1 Patrick Go, maybe two. I hopped on and frames were so
- 9:15much better. Like performance was massively
- 9:17better. Like right now, what you're
- 9:19experiencing is way better than it has been the entire.
- 9:24Time. Yeah, this is like solid.
- 9:26Yeah, and that I experienced that and I'm like, all right,
- 9:30that's great. I'm going to go try and do a
- 9:32mission because one of the really cool missions that Rob
- 9:35and I tried doing is now Rep locked.
- 9:41It's it's a really cool mission that I won't spoil anything
- 9:44about, but. Who's it?
- 9:47Who's it locked by You're. Telling.
- 9:51Me like is it red wind? Is it?
- 9:55It's the investigation, OK. Investigation guy.
- 10:01Hackro Agency. Hackro.
- 10:04Yeah, I believe so. I believe.
- 10:06That I love. I always try to do those.
- 10:09I like those a lot. I miss the old one.
- 10:12Well, you probably. I don't even know if you saw
- 10:14those. JoJo probably didn't.
- 10:16The old missing person ones you'd go out into space and
- 10:19find, like a wrecked Freelancer or Star Pair.
- 10:22Yeah. Like when you when you ask like
- 10:24what would be the scariest thing?
- 10:26That's the mission type. I was thinking of that.
- 10:28You'd get kind of a jump. Scare.
- 10:29Yeah, I miss those missions and and I enjoyed those missions
- 10:33back when Eva was brutally hard and annoying.
- 10:39Awful. Like it was whenever getting
- 10:42onto a ship you just face. Plant.
- 10:45No matter how, no matter how you came in face plant.
- 10:48Every time. Like no matter how delicate you
- 10:50were trying to land, you just rag doll and slide your face
- 10:54across the floor. Yeah, they should bring those
- 10:56back now that we have good Eva. Yeah, Oh yeah, absolutely.
- 11:00Oh, that'd be a dream of a mission then, with the creepy
- 11:04environments and the kind of smooth, floating beautiful.
- 11:10That'd be great. So Hobo Broccoli Rob writes in
- 11:12chat that the missions you were doing were Intersect missions.
- 11:15They were mercenary missions. OK, intersect.
- 11:18All right. Yeah, intersect.
- 11:19They were one of the newish factions.
- 11:25Intersect. It's Intersecurity, Eckhart,
- 11:30Security, Headhunters, and CFP. Those are the the four groups
- 11:34that you're doing missions for as mercenaries at least.
- 11:39Empire does a lot of outsourcing, yes.
- 11:42So about that, I came in here and it's really cool, but it's a
- 11:48kind of rundown, right? And it's kind of a mess, but
- 11:53it's like people are just kind of like keeping it together,
- 11:55right? Like not all the lights work.
- 11:58People are. Yeah, OK.
- 12:00It's so the. People.
- 12:03My experience of the UE of of this beautiful empire right now
- 12:07is mostly downtrodden. We have Pyro.
- 12:13Well, it is an empire. No, it is totally declined.
- 12:19This is there are more places to go that are a mess than there
- 12:23are that are actually, like, decent, you know?
- 12:28I think everywhere we've been so far are mostly frontier.
- 12:33Is that? Is that what it is?
- 12:35These are all sectors on the frontier.
- 12:38Even Stanton is essentially just a it it's it's it's got more in
- 12:44common with like a, a corporate. It's a frontier city, but it's
- 12:50like the first frontier city. It's like the hub, the like you
- 12:56you really have to think of. And this is not the most
- 12:59creative thing, of course, but this is the story, the UEE as
- 13:03the Roman Empire, and we're pretty much in the late Roman
- 13:06Empire by this point. Right.
- 13:08And then if you got the van duel and the van duel, we've talked
- 13:10about this, we're like a real. Pride.
- 13:12Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. OK, so so you're saying that not
- 13:17to believe my eyes and ears, but that the UE is actually a
- 13:21prosperous, responsible government providing excellent
- 13:27services and care for its citizens?
- 13:31That's exactly what they want you to believe.
- 13:34All right, well, I guess I just, I'm just living in the frontier.
- 13:41All right, let's see what I'm Speaking of living out here.
- 13:42Have either of you been outside on live ski yet on any of the
- 13:46pads or the external freight thingies?
- 13:51Yeah, I ran around there for a little while trying to steal a
- 13:53ship at one point because my hangar was being buggy.
- 13:56Well, I'm, I'm walking around out there now that this is this
- 13:59is beautiful. This kind of reminds me of Port
- 14:01Alasar days, you know, being out.
- 14:05And that was a big expansion they made to that outside area
- 14:08because it used to be just sort of a, it was just an, it wasn't
- 14:16very big. It was sort of a valley of.
- 14:19Sorts. Yeah, I was like a valley with
- 14:20new landing pads. Yeah, and it, I know the kind of
- 14:25courtyard area people missed because that was a fun place to
- 14:29land and run around in because they replaced it with a giant
- 14:32frickin hole. But there's still a lot there,
- 14:37especially along the edges of the hole with the walkways.
- 14:42And it's kind of the asymmetric design of Levsky.
- 14:45I like new Levsky. I haven't spent a huge amount of
- 14:48time in it, but considering how small old Levsky was.
- 14:53Yeah, this. Is just wildly different.
- 14:55This is a Norman. I'm out here right now and you
- 15:00have, you can float among like the hangers and there's all
- 15:04these kinds of doors and stuff. And I think it's just like, you
- 15:08know, you can tell that you could spend a lot of time here.
- 15:12What happens if we hit this flag here?
- 15:13Jar jar OOP doesn't mean it's like a brick wall, no.
- 15:17It's like a brick wall, no? Oh well, does it have bars or
- 15:20something behind it to justify its brick walliness?
- 15:24Come on CIG. Come on CIG, unplayable.
- 15:28Yeah, yeah. Literally unplayed.
- 15:29Blocks. Yeah, where is my Stark?
- 15:32Block. It's a literal star cloth.
- 15:35Like it's literally star block. Well, this doesn't give me a lot
- 15:38of hope for fire extinguisher jet packs.
- 15:42No this fucking tarp and just hang and even if I had one.
- 15:46Yeah. Why is it hanging?
- 15:47Because there's there's no good. Well, yeah, there's a little.
- 15:51Bit of gravity I guess, but still.
- 15:53I mean, we're not dropping, we're floating, so why wouldn't
- 15:58the the flag float? Well, I mean it, it wouldn't
- 16:01float just like it wouldn't fall.
- 16:05So I imagine that, you know, they put it in place and and
- 16:07there you go. It's just staying there.
- 16:09It's a very Dalai Lama of you. It would just be.
- 16:12It would just be. This flag is just being.
- 16:15OK, it's OK. Well, this, this still gives me
- 16:20the like. I'll never leave this place.
- 16:21This is too cool. This is pretty cool I'm I'm
- 16:24loving the the Eva transitions running around here.
- 16:30Yeah, and you could see how this could be.
- 16:32This would be a fun place to like have fights and just like
- 16:35repair stuff have. You seen Idris rolling in and
- 16:39like the people on the station firing boomsticks at it?
- 16:43Well people are like trying to board it and shit.
- 16:45That would be calm down of. The visual of that too seeing
- 16:53it. Well, Speaking of a visual that
- 16:56everybody loves, the oldest man in the Galaxy is waiting here to
- 17:01call in and. Methuselah himself.
- 17:05Yeah, Duke, why don't you introduce this old man for
- 17:07everybody? All right.
- 17:11You know, you've you've been listening to us for a long time
- 17:14or short time. You've probably been gifted some
- 17:17wisdom by this very special octogenarian wizard.
- 17:24Something out there, Mr. Mr. Wickett.
- 17:31Hello citizens, long time listener, occasional call.
- 17:39Not for much longer you. Sound like a sick leprechaun?
- 17:46I think I caught a bug on the way to Levski.
- 17:48Oh, there's plenty of bugs. Wicked.
- 17:50Our our question tonight is I 4.4 is Levski.
- 17:54Levski is 4.4. That's what it seems like.
- 17:59I've been running around the station for hours.
- 18:02I was supposed to meet some guy named Jar.
- 18:04Jar. Yeah, you're like six hours ago.
- 18:08I got over here. The next thing he knows is, oh,
- 18:12the missus is calling. I got to go have some noodles.
- 18:15Yeah, I'll be. Back tasty noodles some.
- 18:18Noodles. Next thing I know is I got
- 18:20mugged, they took my gear and now I got all I got is a stupid
- 18:24left ski shirt. I'm standing in the space ship
- 18:29store. I thought you guys were over
- 18:31here, but I guess. We're I'll be wearing it as old
- 18:33as. You could send us a friend
- 18:35invites. You have to resend friend
- 18:37invites in PTU and then we could party up and not do anything.
- 18:42I feel like I'm in Ender's Game out here right now.
- 18:46This would be a great Quidditch arena.
- 18:49I don't know Myspace. My spacesuit's still in customs.
- 18:52I haven't cleared it yet so I I can't go outside.
- 18:55Yeah. Anyway, I tell you the Selefsky
- 19:01looks pretty cool. I've walked all.
- 19:05Over coming. Literally.
- 19:07I mean, it's, it's crazy how big it is.
- 19:11It's really the, it's, it's kind of janky the some of the
- 19:14graphics and some of what the NBC seem to be.
- 19:17Yeah, I noticed that. There is.
- 19:20Seems like they they've increased their script, I guess
- 19:24a little bit like their interactions.
- 19:27You can still tell it's scripted.
- 19:28After you stand in that area for long enough, they'll you'll see
- 19:32the repetitive stuff happening. But you know, as you're just
- 19:35passing through, it makes it look like it's a lot more
- 19:37lively. Haven't seen anybody T pose yet.
- 19:42That's pretty good. But I tell you, this Lefsky
- 19:46thing, I thought this this whole patch was going to be a big
- 19:50disaster. Why would you?
- 19:51Why would you? Think that every patch.
- 19:53Yeah, he's right. He's also right every.
- 19:55Patch Well, I tell you, I looked everywhere I went to all these
- 20:03shops, you know, they have this big like promenade type type
- 20:07area. I found the secret Tiger Claw
- 20:09vendor. I found a secret way to get into
- 20:12the bar. Well, it's not secret, it's just
- 20:14a different way anyway. And every kiosk I went to, every
- 20:19vendor I went to, nobody had cruise looks.
- 20:22I said, Oh my God, this is going to be a disaster.
- 20:24This. There are no cruise lines for
- 20:26Lenski Could. Be kind of the cargo.
- 20:29Bay you have to go all the way down to the to the dregs inside.
- 20:35Of the coral area. Oh no, that fixed your.
- 20:37Hanger. It's like the central area,
- 20:40it's. Like right when you get out of
- 20:40your hanger, it's right there. I was going to tell you because.
- 20:45No, you got to go up, dude. You got to go to circle get it,
- 20:48Or you got to go all the way out of my.
- 20:50Hanger I walked into like a little closet.
- 20:52Space. I found it.
- 20:53I found the cruise. Looks I'm there right now.
- 20:55Yeah. Yeah, I found it too.
- 20:59Oh, trust me, I I found it because.
- 21:01He had to. I wasn't going to give up.
- 21:04I even went so far to ask people.
- 21:06Wow, I I interacted with these these cretins.
- 21:15I mean you have to admit the food and drink is far superior
- 21:18to that of pyro. Oh, that's for sure.
- 21:22At least we're not eating. Yeah, it's hard to beat spiky
- 21:24rats. Worms and noodles.
- 21:26Noodles and worms. What are we having tonight, Mom?
- 21:30Worms and grabs. Noodles and worms listen only.
- 21:35The only time you can get get rat meat is if you you got to be
- 21:39extra special. That's for the bougie.
- 21:40The bougie. It's like Christmas delicate.
- 21:44Well, it's red bougie, you know, it's more expensive.
- 21:46It's. More of a brown meat.
- 21:49Yeah, rat considered red meat. I don't think so dude.
- 21:53Yeah, it's mammal, but. Rabbit, yeah, but not all mammal
- 21:56is is red meat. It's true.
- 22:00We know that from the headhunters who've been
- 22:03experimenting. True.
- 22:05What mammal is not red? Meat.
- 22:07What's that? What mammal is not red meat?
- 22:08Dolphin. Rabbits, for one.
- 22:12Oh, pork, pork, pork. Yeah.
- 22:14You you right, You just named the two of the white meats,
- 22:18rabbit and pork. So.
- 22:20Yes, Speaking of, pork is the most similar to human.
- 22:27Or so we've heard. That's what we've been told by
- 22:30cannibals. Can you confirm?
- 22:32That well, it makes sense because we have similar diets.
- 22:37Speak for yourself, buddy. Well, I found.
- 22:40I I I found you, I know this is true.
- 22:42Shirt at the gift shop here at Levski and it it pertains to to
- 22:48the developers. That's cool.
- 22:51I like the people are doing that.
- 22:53People are are placing Picos and the whale there in front of the
- 22:59Tanaka statue as a memorial. That is a throwback.
- 23:03That is a Is it? That was done in the.
- 23:05Old. I can't wait to see more stuff.
- 23:07I want to see like all sorts of offerings piled up here.
- 23:10That would be pretty cool. What it?
- 23:11What is? The I want reference to be
- 23:13tanking my. Friends.
- 23:14Oh, but what's the reference here?
- 23:16So there's actually some lore to this in that people are expected
- 23:20to or not expected, but it's a, it's a tradition to leave
- 23:25something usually like a flower or something around the the
- 23:28statue. But since we don't have flowers,
- 23:30people decided to use picos. And the statue is of essentially
- 23:35a worker that was martyred. It was a martyr.
- 23:39He was a martyr for the cause by security and management.
- 23:45So that's sort of one of the founding lore aspects of Levsky,
- 23:50because I mean, we could talk about the the People's Alliance,
- 23:53which is the just Star Citizens leftist group.
- 24:03OK, just one. Sorry I just had to kill two
- 24:05players and ruin. ** citizens, leftist group and they own an
- 24:10asteroid and then this. So this is what's going to
- 24:15happen. By the way, they haven't put the
- 24:17planets in yet, but one of the planets is Nicks 1 and next one
- 24:22is like everyone was upset. Not everyone, but a lot of
- 24:25people were upset when they saw it if you recall, because it's
- 24:28like this lush environment and it wasn't supposed to be that
- 24:31way. But now that looks like that.
- 24:35They're terraforming it if you read.
- 24:37The experimental, experimental terraforming, which has just
- 24:42been done like without, without the Levsky people's permission
- 24:46or anything else. Because I mean, they I wouldn't
- 24:48say that they really own Levsky. It's more like they're
- 24:51squatters, right? But they just kind of came in
- 24:53and their dominion over the this outpost is that's been accepted
- 24:59after time. So I think it'll be an
- 25:01interesting lore development now that we have this new, possibly
- 25:06habitable planet. Who gets it right?
- 25:10Is that going to be a gameplay thing?
- 25:13I think so. I would love to help the people
- 25:15of Levski fight to to have a planet of their own.
- 25:18Yeah, I'm getting Titan AE vibes from that.
- 25:22Whoa. There.
- 25:24That's a deep cut. That's actually one of those
- 25:27movies that I don't have anymore.
- 25:28I have the VHS tape at my mother's house and I'm, I'm go,
- 25:34I'll, I'll be there for the holidays.
- 25:36I'll be there. For the I'll hang out with your
- 25:37mom, go watch it. Get the whole family to sit
- 25:40around and watch. Watch Titan AE, it might be
- 25:43stuck in the VCR you know. That's a shame.
- 25:48I. Think it I remember it, it got
- 25:51stuck and I was just like, well, no, no, no, 'cause it would
- 25:53still play, but it's the only thing that can be played.
- 25:57So it's just label the VCR as Titan A?
- 26:02Yeah, and I'll bring my whole VCR over.
- 26:08Yeah, you just put it on a shot, make like a special box for it.
- 26:12Yeah. OK, bring it over.
- 26:15Yeah, you're only, you're only like 2 hours from my mom's
- 26:18probably. I'm I'm I'm not your mom's all
- 26:22the time. Don't worry about it.
- 26:23Yeah. Yeah, fuck it.
- 26:26Hey. Oh yeah, you laid that out for
- 26:27me. All right, all right.
- 26:30I laid that out for you. Like my mom, like have you, have
- 26:33you left the station yet? Yeah, I did.
- 26:37I I got in my ship flew. I'm like looking for markers,
- 26:41something to fly to and there's literally nothing to.
- 26:46Fly almost all the markers. On missions, the jump point and
- 26:53for Met Pyro the jump point for Stanton and then the sun.
- 26:58That's the only place you can fly right now.
- 27:01And of course, once you leave, get far enough away from Lesky,
- 27:04you can fly back to Lesky. Now all these rocks around, is
- 27:08there mining in there like big borehole?
- 27:14Not in the hole, I don't think, but I think the the whole idea
- 27:17of it is that the the belt that this asteroid is in is mineable.
- 27:22Right. Yeah, it's like a big belt of
- 27:24asteroids. I did see a video and some
- 27:29images of someone who just flew up from the belt for two hours
- 27:34just so they could see what it looked like.
- 27:35And it did look amazing, like you could see the belt as as a
- 27:39distinct ring in the system. I think CICIG should definitely
- 27:45put some points of interest above the the planetary plane
- 27:49there, just so we can get that visual, because it's pretty
- 27:51neat. Or map markers with quantum
- 27:57beacons attached. Or new quantum where we can just
- 28:00go wherever we want. Yeah, yeah, 'cause that is
- 28:03something that the game's missing, that like other space
- 28:05games have, is like the distance from the planets to see them,
- 28:09like way off, way out there. Couldn't agree more.
- 28:15Yeah, we got another a guest down there in the waiting room.
- 28:18This guy, he's been, he's been really excited to say the least.
- 28:24This guy, he, he at Citizen Con was like, if they say they're
- 28:30going to do next, I'm going to get a tattoo.
- 28:33And they said they were going to do next.
- 28:36And then he pulled up his arm and he already had a Star
- 28:39Citizen tattoo. So I think that means he needs
- 28:42to get another one. I think that's what that means,
- 28:45yeah, 'cause otherwise it was all cheap talk.
- 28:47Yeah. Exactly, Yeah.
- 28:50Well, let's let this cheap talking motherfucker into the
- 28:54chat. Onto the couch.
- 28:56Broccoli Rob. Broccoli, Rob.
- 29:00What's going on? 4.4 is Levsky, Levsky is 4.4 to
- 29:07get the reference. I didn't at first, but once you
- 29:14said it I realized that I funny story, a few years back I
- 29:18actually watched a triple feature of all of Jim Carrey's
- 29:21movies from 1994, The Mask. Was a busy year.
- 29:26It was Ace Ventura, Pet Detective, The Mask, and Dumb
- 29:31and Dumber. That was a good night.
- 29:32That was a good night. It was excellent.
- 29:35Well, what about the Levskis? I am incredibly excited.
- 29:43I'm going to be honest, I didn't expect it to be 4.4.
- 29:47I was hoping it would be by the end of the year, but it exceeded
- 29:51my expectations. I said it would be and I was
- 29:53correct. You are.
- 29:57Fair enough, but now that it's here, I mean, that's all it is.
- 30:03Yeah, that is a little disappointing is I would like to
- 30:06see planets, right, especially since their planets meet things
- 30:10now for this system and they used to be completely kind of
- 30:12pointless. Here, here, here's a question.
- 30:15So let's say you know, obviously this is going to release before
- 30:21IAE, right? And IAE is on the 20th so. 8
- 30:26days. Do you think that they want to
- 30:29release it and then be able to do some iteration on it once it
- 30:34hits hits live so it's as stable as they can get it by time IAE
- 30:39comes around and the free fly starts?
- 30:42You know, put their best foot forward for new players that
- 30:45might try it out anyway, if Snakes is what it is now with
- 30:52just Lefsky and nothing really else is, what does that mean?
- 30:58Does are you still going to come and put your roost here or is
- 31:01this where you're going to start?
- 31:03Or are you going to start still back in Pyro or Stanton where
- 31:07you normally have been for the last good?
- 31:09Question. I think I still will.
- 31:15I. Yeah.
- 31:18I'm heading straight to Levsky. I like the vibe, I like the
- 31:20looks. Tired of Stanton?
- 31:23Yeah, I'm, I'm also a big industrial player like I I'm
- 31:27drooling over the external cargo elevators and just the thought
- 31:32of doing some mining. But isn't that the external
- 31:37cargo elevator is going to be? Yes, in every system they won't
- 31:41be attached to Levsky. OK in every system.
- 31:47Right. So what if, what, what if we get
- 31:51the release and you know, all that stuff is working, you know,
- 31:54hopefully smoothly enough, but we get no, no missions.
- 32:00Of it, oh, there's missions. There's missions in there.
- 32:04There's lots of missions. Yep, there's going to be the the
- 32:10mission of the patch. That's is.
- 32:14You played through these? Already you guys.
- 32:17A. Little bit.
- 32:20Yeah, haven't seen the end, but I've seen every part of it.
- 32:26Is it investigation similar? Because right now there's
- 32:31nothing. There's, I don't see anything
- 32:33new. I'm in the game right now on the
- 32:35PTU. Shocker.
- 32:37I know. You got to get Intersect to
- 32:39trust you a little bit more. Can't just walk in there and get
- 32:42all these big juicy. Oh, it's not in the in the
- 32:45mission giver things. It's Rep gated.
- 32:48So, oh, so you have to find somebody.
- 32:53No, you just have to work a little bit for Intersec and get
- 32:56your get your Rep with them up and then they'll start giving
- 32:59out the big missions. They're a new mercenary security
- 33:04force. You'll find them under the
- 33:06Mercenary tab. So these are working already.
- 33:14Yeah, you tell me. I tried to do it last time, do
- 33:17one or two patches ago. It put me in that state of
- 33:20quantum superposition where I would jump in somewhere and both
- 33:25be there and not there, and it would just cycle back and forth
- 33:28from that. They fix that.
- 33:31It says new defense contract Montgomery Bannister elimination
- 33:3786K payout. And just because I am eternally
- 33:44positive, I would say that these this new mission is more fun
- 33:49than the ASD missions. And I think you all remember how
- 33:53much I love the ASD missions. The the new bunkers you mean?
- 33:58The new, the new mission chain, that's a Knicks that that's kind
- 34:03of all I'm going to say about it.
- 34:04I'm going to keep it big. I think that is more fun than
- 34:08the ASD storyline, the ASD bunker.
- 34:10Well, I never even got to complete that because it's been
- 34:12bugged. You can't finish the last
- 34:14mission where you know, you, you, you find the, the, the
- 34:18alien. I'm not going to mention it.
- 34:20I think the atmosphere, I'm sure most of the ASD facility is
- 34:23better, more bespoke in that in that way, it's, it's fancier.
- 34:29But as far as a mission loop goes, I like these new missions
- 34:35that Rob, Rob and I did the the one type that we did, to be
- 34:38honest, that like I, I know there's others, but the one we
- 34:42did, which is one of the big ones for the patch, I like it.
- 34:48Yeah. And it's, it's, you can take
- 34:52both a large group and a small group into it.
- 34:56It's it's not going to be hindered necessarily by numbers
- 35:00in one way or another. In fact, it would help to have
- 35:04some friends along because the MVC has hit very hard.
- 35:08Yeah. Is it going to be?
- 35:10The more the better on. That it's a it's an FPS mission
- 35:13or is there going to be space combat involved, or a mix or
- 35:16both? Both.
- 35:17OK. But to get back to the original
- 35:21question, I think that it Nix is still going to be my home.
- 35:27There's a lot going on there, a lot of new stuff.
- 35:30Everything's just a jump away. Luckily now that all the star
- 35:34systems are set in like a triangle, so I think it makes
- 35:39sense to live out of for now. Also, I'm, I'm tired of, yeah,
- 35:45I'm tired of looking at just the dog shape.
- 35:48They're. Awful trash.
- 35:52It's dark. This is a this isn't quite as
- 35:54bright as like a Stanton hanger is especially not like Orson or
- 35:59Nubab, but it's it's not the fucking garbage heap that is
- 36:04Pyro and I well. It's also kind of friendly.
- 36:10Yeah. And the music.
- 36:12Yeah. Yeah.
- 36:13Oh, the music. Oh God, the music.
- 36:16I love the music. Very cheesy, it's.
- 36:19So good. Yeah, it's very like Adventurey
- 36:23did. You find?
- 36:25Did you find anything to mind? No, I didn't find anything to
- 36:27mind. I haven't tried to.
- 36:30No, I flew out my prospector. And.
- 36:33Also my sticks aren't working because it's PTUI don't know
- 36:35why. So I was fine with a controller
- 36:39with an Xbox controller. I don't know how to.
- 36:43I don't know my. Xbox on.
- 36:45I gotta say my sticks are working and broccoli.
- 36:48I know you like racing all, all I'm doing right now is just like
- 36:51flying all around live ski and I can't wait to see the, you know,
- 36:57illegal race course that people put together to go through here.
- 37:06Yeah, and the official one when racing gets put back in someday.
- 37:10I mean, I just parked, sorry, I just parked on the asteroid like
- 37:14anywhere. So like you can go everywhere,
- 37:17you can park everywhere, you can just get out and like float
- 37:20around so. Like the whole thing is.
- 37:23Yeah, but there's no, there's no, there's no gravity, but
- 37:27there's gravity. Well, there's gravity on the
- 37:28walkways. Immersion builds or something?
- 37:35It's gravity plating. Gravity plating, yeah.
- 37:36Gravity plating, yeah. And.
- 37:39That's we already know that's what they use everywhere.
- 37:41Yeah, it's gravity plates, and that's why my ship lands on the
- 37:44asteroid. I thought that's I thought the
- 37:47the the the spinning ball in some ships is the gravity
- 37:50generator. Yeah.
- 37:51But yeah, that's just for big ships, because the the mass of a
- 37:55large ship is so big that it interferes with the
- 37:58functionality of grav plating. Yeah, everyone knows that.
- 38:02It's pretty simple of course. Of course I I I think a more
- 38:05realistic exploration is actually power usage.
- 38:08Ships need power for other. My daddy, we just wrap each
- 38:12other now. Oh my.
- 38:14Gosh, Velcro shoes. Sounds like a lot of fun,
- 38:17grandpa. Speaking of.
- 38:23Didn't know you were into that grandpa.
- 38:25Yeah. I'll just keep it.
- 38:27I plan to just. Keep up all the funny ageisms.
- 38:32I plan to just hang out on the walkways on these external cargo
- 38:36pods and just unload people's stuff for them.
- 38:41OK, that's what you want to do. That's the thing, yeah.
- 38:46It there's so much to do. It feels like an actual hero
- 38:50location, like all of the hanger or all the space stations feel
- 38:56very sane because they are. They're all identical, but this
- 39:01is the only. One that feels like that, yeah,
- 39:03this is so unique, but it's you. It's not a space station.
- 39:07It's like a city. It's both.
- 39:12Yeah, like a yeah, like a landing zone.
- 39:15Sorry. Landing zones feel pretty stale,
- 39:19like even like the cities in Stanton unfortunately.
- 39:22Because you can't. Because you can't really explore
- 39:24them like I, you know, if they would finally hammer out
- 39:31interiors and have that be something that could be utilized
- 39:35to Area 18 and, and Hurston in particular, to be able to use
- 39:39all these buildings and all this city space, that would, I think
- 39:43that would go a long way to improving them.
- 39:48Well, I think the the thing that is going to make it more
- 39:52attractive and necessary to go there, and no one's going to
- 39:55like this answer, but it's going to be mission pick up on
- 39:59location. There's going to be like a
- 40:01bounty hunters Guild in New Babbage or Loreville and you're
- 40:05going to have to go. There and pick up.
- 40:06Bounty contracts not just picking up like non-stop
- 40:11chaining missions on. Your what am I getting on your
- 40:14mobile glass like from the Mandalorian?
- 40:18Never understood how that technology was supposed to work.
- 40:20But could be. Well, because that had the that
- 40:23had the data. That's.
- 40:25I'm. It makes total sense for legal
- 40:27missions, but for legal missions it's kind of.
- 40:30Like yeah, it should be a mission board.
- 40:32I I'd be fine with that as long as like something like bounty
- 40:35hunting where it was bounty hunting 2 point O let me
- 40:39actually have to capture a person or kill them and like
- 40:43bring their body in and then that's a game loop that yeah, I
- 40:48don't mind if I don't, I can't chain it together to cheese some
- 40:51cash. I think that would be valid to
- 40:57start like, you know, like an interview with the bounty
- 41:01hunters Guild or the mining Guild or whatever.
- 41:05But having to do that constantly to get missions kind of is kind
- 41:10of broken because you know, we have communication, they have
- 41:15computers, they have like a intranet type thing where they
- 41:19can look up. The they have, I mean, they have
- 41:21a lot of stuff, but at the end of the day it's a video game and
- 41:23they're going to want you to explore those L ZS that they
- 41:27made. Just make missions there, Yeah.
- 41:32Make a reason to go there, yeah. Or or like if it's if.
- 41:34It's I think, I think the bounty hunter Guild in the mission pick
- 41:37up on location is that reason. Well, the bounty hunter Guild
- 41:40is, you know, you have a bounty hunting Guild, right?
- 41:43You have to go after a bounty target and you have two options.
- 41:47Bring them back dead. You know, kill them and prove it
- 41:50and turn it in remotely or bring them back alive and get oh.
- 41:55I see what you're saying. There's no reason.
- 41:57To go back there. I think you're going to even
- 42:00have to bring the body in. I don't think it's going to be
- 42:02able to walk. In with a necklace of ears.
- 42:04Yeah, I. Just don't think you're going to
- 42:05be able to string together. So like most body missions,
- 42:08you'll have to bring the baby back is what you're saying?
- 42:11Which will that'll make sense, because then that's why they
- 42:13have all those fucking ships. Yeah.
- 42:17Yeah, but then there's also going to be there might be
- 42:19bounties where just kill on site and you know, you got your,
- 42:24your, your footage from your ship that basically shows that
- 42:28you destroyed their ship and they're dead and.
- 42:31I want both, yeah. I think there's a room for for
- 42:36both of that, that type of interaction, but I don't think
- 42:39it should be forced because it's going to make a lot of the stuff
- 42:44very monotonous and it's going to get very old very fast.
- 42:47There's definitely going to be some schmucks.
- 42:49They don't. Care about.
- 42:50I think it's just going. To all right, it's some low
- 42:53level guy, Sure, whatever. If he killed him, good job,
- 42:57here's your payout. And there's other like this guy
- 42:59is a high level Lieutenant. We need to know that he is dead
- 43:03and we need his DNA or something to track his response.
- 43:08Get his urine. So yeah.
- 43:11Alright, then you want your your Merc script.
- 43:14We're not going to overnight your Merc script to your to your
- 43:16home hangar yet to come here and get it and then.
- 43:18Validate marking. And then since since, you know,
- 43:24once the cloning crisis is over, these criminals, these bounty
- 43:29targets, they'll be able to respond just like everybody
- 43:31else, right? So maybe there's a reason to
- 43:34bring them back alive because if you kill them, they're just
- 43:37going to respond somewhere else and keep on with their murderous
- 43:40ways. But then.
- 43:41If you bring them back. Alive, then you can get it.
- 43:44They can get incarcerated and therefore it's a bigger payout
- 43:49and then you actually take that that's.
- 43:53An in law reason for why we would need to bring these people
- 43:56in. Yeah.
- 43:57And maybe once they have, you know, like once they have the
- 43:59person in custody, they can do like, you know, some kind of
- 44:03Jack boot thing where they, I don't know, you know, they, they
- 44:07plug you in and then it resets any, any spawns that you've got
- 44:11somewhere else. So that now that's it, Like
- 44:14you're stuck at prison and if you die, you're going to spawn
- 44:16there. You know, if they're, if they
- 44:20want to have reasons for people to go to LZS or towns that they
- 44:24build and you know, all you have to do is put something there
- 44:28that's exclusively sold there, like a certain quantum drive or
- 44:32a certain weapon. They're only found here and you
- 44:34can only get them here to get them anywhere else.
- 44:37They're like black market. If you get caught with them, you
- 44:39might, you know, the cops might impound.
- 44:41It's interesting you bring up that point because there's that
- 44:45in this patch somewhat. What are you saying?
- 44:49What are you talking about? Go to the ship shop, take a look
- 44:54at the selection. It's a little.
- 44:57Different. I saw some Levsky specials.
- 45:01Yeah, that's it. That's.
- 45:03No more or every ship. You no longer is every ship you
- 45:06buy, just the stock ship. You can buy ships with different
- 45:11components. Very interesting.
- 45:17There's a list floating around but I believe one of them
- 45:20Prospector or the Fortune, I can't remember.
- 45:24They look the same. Are they marketed as like
- 45:26stealth prospector like? Nope, just teaches special OK
- 45:32fortune or prospector and he sells normal ones too so like
- 45:36it. It has to have like that
- 45:38different name. Now, right now, that new ship,
- 45:44the Shiv that's only, you know, cash money, you can buy it, but
- 45:49once it's in game, will will that be something that you buy
- 45:53here at teaches? I don't know.
- 45:55Presumably. I imagine so or or Gray will
- 46:02have his own ship shop somewhere, probably in by WAS.
- 46:07Gray, an individual. Like a breaker yard.
- 46:10Gray was a. Company Gray that would be so
- 46:13awesome if he had like his own little breaker yard and you can
- 46:16go down there and it's a hostile area, but you can also buy ships
- 46:18there. That would be.
- 46:19Amazing Gray is. Kind of like, you know that that
- 46:24guy who does a YouTube videos about Brio's Breaker and he's
- 46:29like selling ships, I forget his name.
- 46:31Oh yeah, I've seen videos. Yeah.
- 46:33So YouTube. He's on demon.
- 46:37Oh yeah, that guy that's. That they probably copied Shiv
- 46:42right from his character he created.
- 46:44What a RIP off the poor guy. Actually the Grays market has
- 46:47been around for a very long time and lore at least those ships
- 46:51like the. Oh, you sound like a nerd.
- 46:54I have no I, I have no idea what the lore is of this, this game.
- 46:59It it seems kind. Of it is, it's glorious.
- 47:03I mean, it's just the fall of Rome.
- 47:05It's making, yeah, it's making sense now.
- 47:07It's making more sense. You got places to go, you got
- 47:10things to buy. You know, you got this big
- 47:13asteroid, you could have all these missions.
- 47:15Do you remember they said they would want to do like survival,
- 47:18like infinite wave type missions and stuff.
- 47:23That was like 4 years ago. Well, I hope, you know, after
- 47:30after Squadron 42 releases, then you have that whole storyline of
- 47:33the new, it's basically the new recruit in the UEE and he's, you
- 47:38know, you're following the journey as a new recruit there.
- 47:41I'm guessing what what it's going to be more or less.
- 47:45But then when Star Citizen finally gets released, I'm
- 47:48hopeful that there's going to be some kind of cohesive story that
- 47:52kind of lays out some bread crumbs for you to travel through
- 47:57the, the, the universe of Star Citizen and, you know, find this
- 48:01lore, not having to read it on some website, but actually
- 48:04experiencing it and getting immersed in it and wanting to
- 48:08know more and maybe. Have you heard about Star
- 48:12Citizen 1.0? Yeah.
- 48:16That's what I'm hoping. That's exactly, that's exactly
- 48:19what the storyline is going to. Be well, yeah, I'm hoping that's
- 48:23you're you're correct on that. But you know, you everybody's
- 48:25keeps on well that's actually in the game and that's lore and
- 48:28it's like, well, yeah, that's fine, but it's a bunch of crap
- 48:32on a website somewhere. That's not something that I've
- 48:34experienced in the game except for small little Nuggets here
- 48:37and there. Yeah, The thing is, they said
- 48:41that that's exactly what one point O is going to be.
- 48:43They're going to give like a story, storyline.
- 48:45It's nothing that no one. Reads plug another YouTube here
- 48:48jar jar. Yeah, plug away.
- 48:51I was just Astro historian. His journal is is great.
- 48:56I mean I'll I'll just throw that on and listen while I'm doing
- 48:59chores and stuff to just absorb the lore, because I've always
- 49:03been a big lore a lore whore. Yeah, he won't be happy with
- 49:07the. One follower he gains from this.
- 49:11Does he have a does that guy use a face Cam and is he a like a
- 49:16white bearded white haired guy? Is he white?
- 49:19Yeah, he usually wears like a purple vest.
- 49:21I met him in LA. Duke doesn't see Yeah, yeah,
- 49:24yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I I don't, I actually I'm just,
- 49:27I'm horribly face blind. Look, we we this tonight as Full
- 49:33disclosure, I should have fully disclosed, but I'm going to
- 49:38fully disclose now. I'm going to cut this show off
- 49:41in an hour because I have a lot to do and I have to edit this
- 49:43show tonight, OK? Well, in that case, let's get
- 49:46our last caller up here. There's there's somebody waiting
- 49:48there. So we're going to and let's
- 49:50refrain from any Zeno threats, any racist commentary.
- 49:56Oh, you left. See.
- 50:01I got to I'm going to head out as well guys, good talking.
- 50:04I'm seeing you for. Talking.
- 50:07We scared him. What are you going to do, Duke?
- 50:12Why don't you introduce this next?
- 50:13Guy Well, what are you going to do, man?
- 50:14The blue. There's no next guy, He's gone.
- 50:18Oh, he left. Yeah, that's what I was saying
- 50:21the. Blueskin has left.
- 50:22Sold him up. You sure you didn't click
- 50:26something else, did you? You boot him.
- 50:28Maybe I blocked him? He meant to bring him up and he
- 50:31just picked him out. No, I, I brought him up.
- 50:36Muscle memory. Well, we'll see what happens I
- 50:38suppose right Well, without, without our last guest.
- 50:47Normally I read some comments now or or or read an
- 50:52advertisement, but we don't have any of that today.
- 50:55We lost we. Lost, you know, through
- 50:59advertisers. Good.
- 51:04They said something about too many Pinko commies listening in
- 51:10on our station. It was just we didn't have the
- 51:12the correct viewership that they were looking for.
- 51:15They did give high, high marks to you wicket but otherwise they
- 51:19weren't happy. Yeah.
- 51:23So if anyone out there as a a body spray or a muscle milk or I
- 51:37don't, I actually don't know some kind of pills, a purple
- 51:39pill, you know, give give. Or refreshing, refreshing
- 51:46drinks. OK, we can't do Cruz Lux
- 51:49anymore. Cruz Lux is coming back here.
- 51:54Again, well, this is this is the end of the show here we are
- 52:01excited for IAE. We're gonna have a special
- 52:04episodes for IAE. I'm thinking about trying to do
- 52:09like a A1 in the European time zone because we have some from
- 52:15Europe. It's more that euro trash in
- 52:17here. Yeah, so maybe an early morning
- 52:19one. We come, we drink some coffee,
- 52:22you know? I'll take my caffeine in pill
- 52:27form. Yeah.
- 52:30Oh. Yeah, Wicket.
- 52:34Yep, Yep, I'll. I'll save it for the roundup.
- 52:38Alright, well, at the end of the Open Comms Radio, we always ask
- 52:41our our guests a few questions here before we log off for the
- 52:45evening. That is, is there anything you'd
- 52:47like to say to Chris Roberts, CIG or the people on the
- 52:49Internet? We're going to go in reverse
- 52:51order, as we always do. Wicket.
- 52:53Is there anything you'd like to say to CIG, Chris Roberts, or
- 52:55the people on the Internet? Yes, Sandy Chris Roberts, be on
- 53:04the lookout for this name dropping perpetrator.
- 53:08His name is Duke LL can't be trusted.
- 53:12Thank you. That's good.
- 53:13Be on the lookout for Duke LL. Be on lookout for Duke LL.
- 53:18Duke LL. Cosmic Cobo, Anything you want
- 53:21to say to CIG? Chris Roberts of the People on
- 53:22the Internet. Give the give the industry folks
- 53:28and stuff to mine like they that they mentioned that this patch
- 53:31is going to be. I am not a big industry fit like
- 53:35I we're at this point in time. I truly do not care because it
- 53:39does not feel like I'm doing anything when I'm doing
- 53:41industry. No offense to any of our fellow
- 53:44nomads to do industry, but. No, I agree.
- 53:48I just. Cannot care right now.
- 53:50Once we get crafting, yeah, all that blah blah blah.
- 53:54Even just right now, though, for Levsky, give give them some
- 53:57asteroids, throw throw in some mining around there.
- 54:00Just give them something to do right now because it's just
- 54:04begging for that. Look at all those rocks.
- 54:08Yeah, all those not mineable rocks.
- 54:15Yeah, especially after like game they were talking well, Duke, we
- 54:19did it. Duke, Duke, Duke did it.
- 54:21I, I, I know this isn't something that I usually do, but
- 54:25I have something I like to say to Chris Roberts, CIG and the
- 54:28and the people on the Internet. Space is black most of the time.
- 54:37Why is space green? Kind of blue.
- 54:40This is blue. This is kind of green.
- 54:44It's very green, blue. Stanton is green.
- 54:48This is more of a blue, blue, teal at most.
- 54:51All right. Write down in your comments.
- 54:53Is right. I mean, you look at the Hubble
- 54:54telescope pictures, a lot of color, this color.
- 55:02Anytime you see color from space, it's because light is
- 55:07diffracting either off of or through an element, and that
- 55:12element radiancy light at a certain frequency.
- 55:16That frequencies corresponds to color.
- 55:18So is the left knee. There goes our last three
- 55:21viewers. I'm an astronaut I'm gonna get
- 55:28out of. Here you can go play Fortnite.
- 55:34Wicked, would you say this? Guy.
- 55:37Is accurate. It could be depending on what
- 55:42the light is diffracting off of, since we're since Lefsky's in a
- 55:46big asteroid belt and there's all kinds of particles floating
- 55:49around in a true Astro asteroid belt that's dense.
- 55:53First of all, there would never be an asteroid belt this dense
- 55:57unless it was like a ring around a planet like Saturn.
- 56:00That's kind of what this is. This the ring around Lefsky.
- 56:03No, here, here, here we are. It's a it's a ring and you know,
- 56:07there's all this debris, the debris would be moving
- 56:11constantly and constantly bouncing off its off of each
- 56:14other and leaving, you know, breaking into smaller chunks or
- 56:19clumping together depending on how they.
- 56:21It's, it's rule of cool folks. We're, we're traveling at faster
- 56:24than light speeds and, you know, jumping through systems and
- 56:27wormholes and stuff. It's don't worry about the signs
- 56:31too much. It's about the feels.
- 56:33But maybe I'm I'm like Levski is moving with maybe all these
- 56:37rocks are moving. They would be.
- 56:42Maybe it's about the rocks you meet along the way.
- 56:44Space. Nothing is ever stationary.
- 56:47Maybe it's the rocks that you make pets.
- 56:49Rocks. All right.
- 56:50Well, Duke, we did it. We did it.
- 56:56Mission accomplished. That's it, baby.
- 56:58All right, you know what to do. What the fuck was that?
- 57:07Are you are you seeing? It I was playing without, I was
- 57:10seeing this, yeah. I think I moved my mic really
- 57:14far away, though. I was having a drink earlier.
- 57:16Try it again. Try.
- 57:18It again, yeah, it's it's a one off it's done now well.
- 57:24I.
