• 1:50
  Speaker 3: Hi.
• 1:50
Speaker 2: How are you king, Chelsea?
• 1:52
  Speaker 3: Hi?
• 1:52
Speaker 4: I'm great. I actually just got back from a nice
• 1:55
Speaker 4: little trip to Mexico with two of my girlfriends. I
• 1:58
Speaker 4: go on every years. Yeah. Good, yeah, very very toasty
• 2:02
  Speaker 4: and warm.
• 2:03
Speaker 1: D It's nice to feel arrested after a vacation.
• 2:05
Speaker 4: Yeah yeah. And it's nice to have something to look
• 2:07
Speaker 4: forward to every year, where it's like this is where
• 2:10
Speaker 4: we go. Well, I have a follow up. This is
• 2:12
Speaker 4: Charlotte who called in on our Judy Career episode a
• 2:15
Speaker 4: while back. So she was frustrated because her wife was
• 2:18
Speaker 4: the bread winner but had had like a job change
• 2:20
Speaker 4: and had gotten fired from her job a couple of times.
• 2:23
Speaker 4: They have a little kid, and you had recommendations like
• 2:26
Speaker 4: do a gratitude journal and like change your attitude, start
• 2:28
Speaker 4: looking positively, and she was like in a tough spot
• 2:31
Speaker 4: with her marriage. So she says, Hi, Chelsea, I wanted
• 2:34
Speaker 4: to send a quick follow up. Not long after our call,
• 2:37
Speaker 4: something pretty amazing happened. About three weeks after we talked.
• 2:40
Speaker 4: My wife got an awesome new job, and then a
• 2:42
Speaker 4: week after that, I was promoted at my job. Oh,
• 2:44
Speaker 4: oh my gosh, I know now I'm actually up for
• 2:47
Speaker 4: another promotion. And I have my first appointment with a
• 2:49
Speaker 4: fertility doctor this week to get busy having a second kid.
• 2:52
Speaker 4: I'm not sure exactly how to explain it, but there
• 2:55
Speaker 4: really is something powerful about reminding yourself every day what
• 2:57
Speaker 4: you're grateful for. Taking a moment to folks on that
• 3:00
Speaker 4: seems to shift your mindset in a really positive way,
• 3:03
Speaker 4: and that's been pretty incredible to see how things have
• 3:05
Speaker 4: started falling into place since then. Thank you so much.
• 3:07
Speaker 4: You're really helping people in a time like now we
• 3:10
Speaker 4: all really need it. Thank you so much, Chelsea, and
• 3:12
Speaker 4: see you in port Chester, Charlotte. Oh cute. I love that. Yeah,
• 3:15
Speaker 4: that's nice. Yeah, so glad to hear things are going well,
• 3:19
Speaker 4: it's nice, it was like. Yeah.
• 3:20
Speaker 1: And also to frame it in that way that it
• 3:22
Speaker 1: shifts your mindset, M like that.
• 3:24
  Speaker 4: It's true.
• 3:25
Speaker 1: It's like you can't really put your finger on what's different,
• 3:26
Speaker 1: but it does make you right. I like the other
• 3:30
Speaker 1: thing that I heard recently, which is not too when
• 3:32
Speaker 1: you when you have a feeling, to have the opposite,
• 3:36
Speaker 1: you know, like there's an opposite feeling to every feeling,
• 3:39
Speaker 1: Choose that one when you have a bad feeling.
• 3:41
Speaker 4: Right, yeah, yeah, and focus on the positive. It's very serious,
• 3:45
Speaker 4: Miniso today, it's very serious. We just recorded with was
• 3:50
Speaker 4: not serious at all. It's not serious at all. And
• 3:52
  Speaker 4: like I have a contact high, so I know you're
• 3:55
  Speaker 4: doing amazing.
• 3:57
Speaker 2: Earlier that day, should we smoke this joy?
• 4:00
Speaker 3: Yeah? Why not? You know, Mama lipstick? Do you? I'll
• 4:03
Speaker 3: give you your own you already started without.
• 4:06
Speaker 4: Me, No, I had, and this is from yesterday.
• 4:08
Speaker 1: I was, I'm so glad that you're the guest today
• 4:10
  Speaker 1: because I was, like, I want to. I haven't sat
• 4:12
Speaker 1: and smoked a joint in my new podcast room for
• 4:14
Speaker 1: a podcast guest in a while.
• 4:16
Speaker 4: Most people are sober these days.
• 4:17
Speaker 5: Have you noticed this?
• 4:19
  Speaker 3: Why?
• 4:19
Speaker 2: Why? Why do you think that is.
• 4:22
  Speaker 1: Such a thing.
• 4:23
Speaker 3: They went too hard, they did wrong shit, and they
• 4:26
Speaker 3: got burnt out real easier, real quick.
• 4:28
Speaker 4: Yeah, but I know people that have gone too.
• 4:30
Speaker 2: Hard and then they're back in.
• 4:34
Speaker 3: Everybody can reel it back in.
• 4:36
Speaker 4: You ever got cocktail too?
• 4:37
  Speaker 5: I like this.
• 4:37
Speaker 4: I'm having a cocktail. I'm having a little old tom gin,
• 4:40
Speaker 4: which is my new favorite thing.
• 4:42
Speaker 3: That's going too far right there, that's run right there.
• 4:44
Speaker 4: I have to be able to read later, So I.
• 4:47
Speaker 3: Girl, you need to see my actu and on what.
• 4:49
Speaker 4: Well, that's what we were talking about before. I feel
• 4:51
Speaker 4: like a lot of people went too hard with gin
• 4:52
Speaker 4: in college or whatever, and they just like they got
• 4:54
Speaker 4: sick on it once and they can't stand.
• 4:56
Speaker 3: Up now that's stick on it multiple times.
• 5:00
Speaker 2: Do you like that? Chelsea? Him the vi calumonade that
• 5:03
  Speaker 2: you're drinking.
• 5:05
Speaker 3: Could be stronger, but yeah, that's okay.
• 5:07
Speaker 4: It could be stronger. It's a day drink, but I
• 5:09
  Speaker 4: like that.
• 5:10
Speaker 3: Is that what it is?
• 5:11
Speaker 2: It's kind of like a light drink so that you
• 5:12
  Speaker 2: can have.
• 5:13
  Speaker 4: A couple of.
• 5:15
Speaker 3: No, I want to, don't you?
• 5:18
Speaker 2: Is it a drink?
• 5:19
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like this, but I think it's got weed
• 5:23
  Speaker 3: in it.
• 5:24
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, probably yet. But I love anything that
• 5:28
Speaker 1: he does. His weed is strong.
• 5:29
Speaker 3: I heard Snoop said, that's the only person who I've smoked.
• 5:32
Speaker 1: He was, Yeah, I smoked weed with Willie Nelson. Yeah,
• 5:35
Speaker 1: on his trailer, in his trailer on.
• 5:37
Speaker 4: It why do It?
• 5:38
Speaker 1: And it was I was high the next day when
• 5:41
Speaker 1: I got up. Yeah, there was two times where I've
• 5:44
Speaker 1: gotten so high that the next morning I was still high.
• 5:47
Speaker 4: When are you performing at Netflix? As a joke? May nine, the.
• 5:50
Speaker 3: Ninth at the Ice House and then I think I'm
• 5:53
Speaker 3: doing sense with Shaq and Burke Crasher.
• 5:55
Speaker 1: Okay, so you can get chicks at Netflix? Is a
• 5:58
  Speaker 1: jokefest dot Com.
• 6:00
Speaker 5: Make sure to check out Lunell's full episode on May
• 6:03
Speaker 5: twenty first to hear the whole conversation. And now back
• 6:10
  Speaker 5: to our minisoda.
• 6:10
Speaker 4: Okay, so We have a one drink question today and
• 6:13
Speaker 4: it is actually sponsored by Vital Proteins.
• 6:16
Speaker 2: They just launched their new Collagen Sparkling Waters.
• 6:18
Speaker 4: Oh, that's what's in my new fridge.
• 6:20
Speaker 1: In three crisp refreshing flavors people strawberry blossom, lemon, lime,
• 6:23
Speaker 1: and blood orange. Vital Proteins Collagen Sparkling Water improves your

• 6:43
Speaker 1: and provides one hundred percent daily dose of vitamin C,
• 6:45
Speaker 1: which supports collagen production, immune support, and glowy skin. Each
• 6:49
Speaker 1: can contains two point five grams of aerosol collagen peptides
• 6:53
Speaker 1: clinically shown to improve skin health in as little as
• 6:56
Speaker 1: four weeks. Sip your way to better skin health.
• 6:59
Speaker 4: All right, So here's our featured question. It's our wondering question,
• 7:03
Speaker 4: and she says, Dear Chelsea, I've been a weekly listener
• 7:06
Speaker 4: of your podcast for the last few years. I love
• 7:09
Speaker 4: your humor and your commitment to destigmatizing mental health and therapy.
• 7:13
Speaker 4: Since you're a total badass in the gym, I have
• 7:15
Speaker 4: a health and fitness question for you. I'm a working
• 7:17
Speaker 4: mom in my late thirties. I love to work out,
• 7:19
Speaker 4: but my time is limited during the week, and I
• 7:21
Speaker 4: can only squeeze in twenty to thirty minutes in the morning.
• 7:24
Speaker 4: I'm consistent working out every day, but I've hit a plateau.
• 7:27
Speaker 4: How can I maximize my Monday through Friday thirty minute
• 7:30
Speaker 4: workouts to still build my strength and see change. What's
• 7:33
Speaker 4: the ideal balance of strength versus cardio versus recovery. I
• 7:36
Speaker 4: feel like since I don't work out very long each day,
• 7:39
Speaker 4: I'm hesitant to take rest and recovery days. I have
• 7:41
Speaker 4: free weights, a stationary bike, and a treadmill. Cheers Caitlin, Hi, Caitlin.
• 7:46
Speaker 4: I love these kinds of questions. It's so ridiculous. But
• 7:50
Speaker 4: I will say that I would just wait train. If
• 7:52
Speaker 4: I had thirty minutes every day, I would wait train.
• 7:54
Speaker 4: Or you can sprint every few days on the treadmill,
• 7:56
Speaker 4: because that's really good for like fat burning and like
• 7:59
Speaker 4: also life. It's good to have some cardio, but I
• 8:01
Speaker 4: don't do cardio on the regular cardios like data artists.
• 8:04
Speaker 2: It's out I know, yeah, it's out of style. And
• 8:07
Speaker 2: I do do it.
• 8:07
Speaker 1: Just sometimes, like if I want, you know, need to sweat,
• 8:11
  Speaker 1: like I'll do it. But I don't do a lot
• 8:13
Speaker 1: of cardio anymore. I used to be obsessed with it,
• 8:15
Speaker 1: and I used to be much less lean.
• 8:17
Speaker 4: Well that's the thing is like in the nineties and
• 8:19
Speaker 4: two thousands, they were like, oh, yeah, cardio, cardio, cardio,
• 8:21
Speaker 4: and then we realized like, oh, it's actually not doing
• 8:23
Speaker 4: much for especially for women. Yeah, yeah, exactly.
• 8:25
Speaker 1: I wasted so many hours of my life running after nothing.
• 8:28
Speaker 4: Yeah, your cardio is gonna come from like chasing your kids,
• 8:31
Speaker 4: going on walks with them, running around at the park,
• 8:33
Speaker 4: Like walking is really good for you. But that's just
• 8:36
Speaker 4: doing naturally. Yeah for sure.
• 8:38
Speaker 1: Okay, thanks again to our sponsor for this week's wondering question,
• 8:41
  Speaker 1: Vital Proteins.
• 8:41
Speaker 2: You can pick up a case of their new Collegen Sparkling.
• 8:43
Speaker 1: Waters and Strawberry Blossom, Lemon, lime and blood Orange out Now.
• 8:51
Speaker 4: Well, we have a couple more really quick questions, Chelsea.
• 8:55
Speaker 4: The first one is from Kendra. She says, Dear Chelsea,
• 8:59
Speaker 4: I was supposed to be a date at a bar,
• 9:01
Speaker 4: but left after he was twenty minutes late, no text,
• 9:04
Speaker 4: no show. An hour later, he said his phone had
• 9:07
Speaker 4: died and apologized profusely. Should I give him another chance?
• 9:10
Speaker 4: It was a third date, Kendra, third date, first time
• 9:14
Speaker 4: that happened. Mm, yeah, I would give him another Maybe die,
• 9:20
Speaker 4: I know, but I'm a little bit liked he my
• 9:22
Speaker 4: phone dies? Yeah, okay, all right, So speaking from personal experience,
• 9:26
Speaker 4: you need another chance.
• 9:28
Speaker 1: I mean not a lot, but it's happened. But when
• 9:30
Speaker 1: I'm supposed to yeh, And I.
• 9:31
Speaker 4: Feel like if he's out already, he doesn't get a
• 9:33
Speaker 4: chance to charge his phones. That's why maybe it was
• 9:35
Speaker 4: a You can't just back up with him for that, Okay,
• 9:38
Speaker 4: all right, I can't directive him another chance. So our
• 9:41
Speaker 4: last question today comes from Lucy. She says, I'm writing
• 9:45
Speaker 4: in because I recently lost my best friend to a dude.
• 9:49
Speaker 4: She's always been someone who gets her sense of worth
• 9:51
Speaker 4: from male attention. She'll date a guy and morph into them,
• 9:54
Speaker 4: adopt their interests, humor and lifestyle, and yeah, we all
• 9:57
Speaker 4: sink into our partners to a point. But her current
• 9:59
Speaker 4: boyfriend has become her whole world. Well, I've completely dropped
• 10:02
Speaker 4: out of it. We used to talk every day, share everything,
• 10:05
Speaker 4: but now I barely hear from her. If I'm being honest,
• 10:07
Speaker 4: I don't even miss her, mainly because the her she
• 10:10
  Speaker 4: has become isn't the one I knew. But I can't
• 10:13
Speaker 4: throw it all away. She is my person. It's not
• 10:15
Speaker 4: her fault that she faonds to men. But how do
• 10:17
Speaker 4: I get her to see it? Side note? The dude
• 10:19
Speaker 4: and I are perfectly friendly, but Jesus fuck, please don't
• 10:22
Speaker 4: leave us alone together? Zero vibe. It's like we both
• 10:25
Speaker 4: forget that we know how to speak lucy brutal. Yeah,
• 10:29
Speaker 4: so how do we get her like vibing with her
• 10:31
  Speaker 4: friend again?
• 10:32
Speaker 1: I don't know that you can. Well, no, not while
• 10:35
Speaker 1: the guys in the picture. And if she's acting like
• 10:37
Speaker 1: that with guys, I don't know. I think people have
• 10:40
Speaker 1: to outgrow that stuff. I don't know how you remind
• 10:44
Speaker 1: telling someone you don't like their boyfriend is unhelpful information?
• 10:47
Speaker 4: Yeah? Most often? Yeah. Well, and I wonder like, is
• 10:50
Speaker 4: there a way to say, like, I feel like I'm
• 10:53
Speaker 4: missing you just as you are without this guy.
• 10:57
Speaker 1: Yeah that's a good Yeah, that's a nice way to say.
• 11:00
Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know how you could say that wrong.
• 11:02
Speaker 4: Yeah, right, Like I think that's a text of like
• 11:05
Speaker 4: to say, yeah, like I'd love to go to coffee, like,
• 11:08
Speaker 4: let's get some coffee. I want to spend some time
• 11:10
Speaker 4: just with you. And then when you're at coffee or
• 11:12
Speaker 4: dinner or whatever, you can address and just be like, hey,
• 11:15
Speaker 4: like I really wants some more, like I miss you,
• 11:17
Speaker 4: like alone time with you. Yeah, yeah, Okay, I support that.
• 11:22
Speaker 4: All right, Lucy, problem solved and we're on for today.
• 11:25
Speaker 4: Oh wonderful. Okay, goodbye, goodbye. I'm going upstairs. If you
