- Malcolm: I I I think when it when it comes to the AI story, ⁓ stuff I think the more that the market figures itself out because now we're nearing like token based billing and ⁓ my god yeah that's that's been a thing for a lot of people so expensive ⁓ but as we lay a groundwork foundation for everything I think That structure will allow the government to then build their own structure. Because right now up to you know just a few months ago, AI race has been just a cowboy wild west shootout. Yeah. Like everybody's just throwing everything, moving faster than the government can comprehend. And I mean, all of the brightest minds are going to these companies. The government's not paying people five hundred K plus million dollar in stock and you know, all this other stuff. Like bro the the people are going there. So the government has to catch up. And I think that as the a the industry Settles into a norm of this is how this works, this is how we build, this is how we release, blah, blah, blah, then the government cannot regulate it. I mean, it with the internet, the good, there's no internet regulations on the government to this day. No one knows who actually operates the government. There's regulations in terms of what's legal and illegal by, you know, state, nation, you know, whatever the case, but there's not a ⁓ one power, an all-seeing eye over it that controls the internet in AI, I think they're trying to do something different there where the companies are a form of government. contractor in a sense while they s they kind of work for the government and for the people is kind of the hybrid it seems like they want. ⁓ and then also with China, I think I saw an article recently where the Chinese companies and government I guess does well is because the companies and the government work together on a lot of stuff. Like they're pretty hand to hand. Like the government's very involved in what's going on because you there's a lot of rules in China regarding, you know, what you can use, what it's connected to, how things work. And I think we're approaching that. I mean I I personally It it's unfortunate because I wouldn't mind some regulation on AI, ⁓ to control like the data center parts and all that stuff and like how where we do where how we do these things with like keeping things affordable for people and not impacting lives and like in a negative way. But unfortunately, I don't think the government regulation would go in a direction that favors the people. I think it would go in a direction that favors Yeah, the themselves, right? And I think I mean I think you did say a good point. I think like I do agree that a lot of that regulation I think should be kind of focused on those data center emissions and and kind of like, you know, how much water's being used and how the electricity bills of of local communities and residents are being affected. I think that's where like a lot of the kind of like like, you know, kind focus should be. ⁓ however I think I think like a lot of the the I don't know man, I don't want to become a com like turn into a conspiracy there or something like that, but I think like I don't know if they scared that it might figure out some of their government secrets or some of their internal stuff, but it just seems like I feel like it's a very ⁓ I just think like the timing of it, like the the it it's just very interesting to me how it's like, okay, now all of a sudden like you knew that these models were like it was like if if it was a point where the Pentagon wanted to con like contract one these guys and and and and literally like use their models in house, it's like why are you worried now that these models the same models that you wanted to kinda like have for higher are are actually good enough to to to find vulnerabilities and code bases and and and and software defects and things like that. I like that's what they're built for. So it's like the timing of it and then the fact that they have no real like evidence behind it being a a jailbreak or like a security concern, I don't know man, it's definitely ⁓ Like you raise the eyebrow because it's like, okay, like what's the actual goal here, right? Is it is it the safety of of of ⁓ you know, American, you know, people that that interact with AI or is it we wanna slow anthropics growth or is like like what like what's like the I feel like, you know, what they're saying isn't the actual ⁓ you know, reasoning, the the underlying reason behind like what why it's actually going on. So, ⁓ Yeah, no, it'll be interesting. And I I really do hope Anthropic comes out like the winner, I guess, in this case. ⁓ 'cause I mean like they're a great company. I think that they they like have displayed that once they kind of like stood their ground when it came to ⁓ getting that contract from the government. And it's like, you know, they are I think they're a company that is like very deeply focused on on on morals and and ethical AI and and having the right principles in place, ⁓ to build a technology that that is like, you know, one of the most powerful that a lot of us have harnessed in our lifetime. So, ⁓ Yeah, like I said, like same as the SpaceX thing. I know it'll be interesting to kinda like see it continue to develop, but ⁓ you know, I I really do hope they kinda like I said, come back come back out on the winner's side though for sure.
