- 0:47Speaker 2: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:51Speaker 2: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley along with
- 0:54Speaker 2: Trade Trenholm and Raj Sharma. I'm going to jump right
- 0:59Speaker 2: into this because I want to just basically rip the
- 1:01Speaker 2: band aid off. I know I'm going to regret telling
- 1:06Speaker 2: you this, but I have a new nickname, Saliva King
- 1:13Speaker 2: m M. Are you rejecting it? Raj? That is not
- 1:22Speaker 2: a nickname. Well, I don't know if you get to
- 1:24Speaker 2: decide that, because whoever gives you the nickname is the
- 1:28Speaker 2: one that uses it. I'm not saying you have to
- 1:32Speaker 2: use it. I'm not saying I like it, in fact,
- 1:34Speaker 2: that don't. I'm just saying someone gave me a new nickname,
- 1:37Speaker 2: and that new nickname is Saliva King. You can reject
- 1:40Speaker 2: it all you want, but that doesn't mean the person
- 1:42Speaker 2: who named it, the person that named me, has to
- 1:46Speaker 2: abide by your rejection.
- 1:48Speaker 3: When you're telling this story, are you actively drooling for
- 1:51Speaker 3: emphasis the point where you're like, I'll show you why.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Luckily, I have enough control over it to where it
- 2:02Speaker 2: doesn't flow out of my face uncontrollably, except in certain
- 2:08Speaker 2: instances like Terra s has spit on it. You just
- 2:16Speaker 2: get the build up. You're just like, woh, just the
- 2:18Speaker 2: anticipation of eating something. But yeah, no, yeah no. The
- 2:23Speaker 2: person who gave me this nickname said it while I
- 2:26Speaker 2: had a lot of tools in my mouth. They called
- 2:31Speaker 2: me saliva King because they'd never seen someone with so
- 2:34Speaker 2: much spit. They said that normally people dry out after
- 2:38Speaker 2: a few hours, but after five hours, I was still
- 2:43Speaker 2: going wet and strong.
- 2:49Speaker 3: I would have just named you Bonnie Blue.
- 2:53Speaker 2: In case you haven't figured this out yet, due to
- 2:55Speaker 2: the double ntuondras. The nickname was given to me by
- 2:59Speaker 2: my dentist. Yeah, because five hours in the chair on
- 3:05Speaker 2: Friday of getting a deep periodontal cleaning done on three
- 3:10Speaker 2: quadrants of my mouth she had to put gauze underneath
- 3:16Speaker 2: my tongue so when they did a bone graft, the
- 3:20Speaker 2: saliva doesn't build up and then push the bone graft
- 3:24Speaker 2: out right, kind of like rising flood. So she puts
- 3:29Speaker 2: the gauze in to dry it out, and then she
- 3:33Speaker 2: gets the bone graft to put in between my teeth,
- 3:35Speaker 2: and by the time she comes back to my mouth,
- 3:37Speaker 2: I've already soaked through the gaus. And that's when she
- 3:41Speaker 2: tells me, my god, you're like the Saliva King. And
- 3:45Speaker 2: I couldn't help but laugh because I thought of this
- 3:47Speaker 2: moment where I get to tell my buddy's in the
- 3:49Speaker 2: tree house my new nickname. As much as I'm going
- 3:51Speaker 2: to regret it, I had to share it.
- 3:55Speaker 4: Have you had a T shirt made yet?
- 3:58Speaker 2: Say it again, tre Have you had a T shirt
- 4:00Speaker 2: made yet? Not yet? I figured I'd leave that up
- 4:02Speaker 2: to you guys. Mm hmm.
- 4:05Speaker 3: We can take the Sanate King, the sanitizer, the Senate
- 4:08Speaker 3: King logo and just make it Saliva King. I also
- 4:11Speaker 3: think that was title King's nickname in prison.
- 4:15Speaker 2: You're right, I mean first there was Sana King, then
- 4:19Speaker 2: there was Tiger King, and now there's Saliva King.
- 4:23Speaker 3: Yeah, you need drone show. You need drone reality show,
- 4:26Speaker 3: and we can. We can follow you around and just
- 4:28Speaker 3: see how it just how you salivate all day long.
- 4:34Speaker 2: And look, dreams don't always turn out the way you want. Look,
- 4:37Speaker 2: I dreamed of having superpowers and becoming Iron Man or
- 4:41Speaker 2: Captain America. Instead I became saliva King because my superpower
- 4:46Speaker 2: is producing superhuman amounts of spit. Lucky me.
- 4:52Speaker 1: I figured you were a superman guy.
- 4:55Speaker 2: I am, but his powers weren't given to him like
- 5:00Speaker 2: he had those already, like the Flash. It was the
- 5:05Speaker 2: big thing that happened and he became the Flash. Yeah,
- 5:11Speaker 2: I've been America rich. Batman has had money. I believe though,
- 5:18Speaker 2: that Iron Man is still a While he's technically not superhuman,
- 5:25Speaker 2: he does have way far above average, above normal superhuman
- 5:31Speaker 2: abilities in the brains department.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Yeah, oh okay, I was gonna say without the suit,
- 5:37Speaker 3: he gets shot and dies.
- 5:40Speaker 2: The thing is, though, his his hand eye coordination is astounding.
- 5:45Speaker 3: Yes, but it's it's just like that Man's the same thing.
- 5:50Speaker 3: That Man's not a superhero. He's just a rich, crazy person.
- 5:55Speaker 2: With abilities that far exceed the normal human.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Okay, were you drawn to Iron Man because the first version.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Ann has that big helmet.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Yes, my younger self, little Danny could relate to a
- 6:14Speaker 2: man in a big helmet for protection.
- 6:18Speaker 3: His helmet's like mine.
- 6:22Speaker 2: That said, mine doesn't open when I wanted to. Mine
- 6:27Speaker 2: has a special key that I don't have access to.
- 6:31Speaker 2: His doesn't have a chin strap, and he doesn't run
- 6:38Speaker 2: into things near as often as I do.
- 6:43Speaker 1: We both have voices helmet.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Mine's also British.
- 6:55Speaker 3: Just growing up in Oklahoma with your British imaginary friend.
- 6:58Speaker 2: I like that, Sir Timmy John right hand man to
- 7:05Speaker 2: the Slavic King Jesus. We congratulations, Dan, it's a.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Can we can we call you s K for short?
- 7:17Speaker 2: Sure? Which if you sound that out, what does it
- 7:21Speaker 2: sound like? Suck? I could have taken on Thanos, just
- 7:31Speaker 2: drowned him and spit. That's the that's the real end game.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Yes it is. Doctor Strange is still there, just opening
- 7:47Speaker 2: copious amounts of bortles. Yeah, the Doctor and the King
- 7:54Speaker 2: are here. It's the team up we don't deserve. It's
- 8:01Speaker 2: the one we need. Uh So, Yeah, Friday sucked. My
- 8:08Speaker 2: periodontist actually sent me home with a muscle relaxer for
- 8:14Speaker 2: my jaw for medical reasons. Mhm. Not because I had
- 8:22Speaker 2: several tools. And actually it was because I had several
- 8:24Speaker 2: tools in my mouth because for five hours, she's like,
- 8:26Speaker 2: you might want a muscle relax because your TMJ is
- 8:29Speaker 2: gonna be pretty pretty sore. Oh yeah it was. I
- 8:35Speaker 2: don't recommend any of this.
- 8:37Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I'll have to eventually get get it done.
- 8:43Speaker 3: I'm just doing the just the real like just the
- 8:46Speaker 3: superficial deep cleanings that they do in the in the
- 8:48Speaker 3: very beginning. Yeah, but it will progress, obviously.
- 8:51Speaker 2: It will. You'll eventually get to the point where they will,
- 8:55Speaker 2: as my periodontists said, gently reflect the gums to expose
- 9:00Speaker 2: higher up on the two so then they can get
- 9:02Speaker 2: in there and clean it. They'll close it and maybe
- 9:04Speaker 2: a bone graft, and then they'll close it up and
- 9:07Speaker 2: stitch it and then you get to enjoy the aftermath
- 9:11Speaker 2: of that. Now, to mention the going through it part,
- 9:15Speaker 2: they typically do it like one half of the mouth
- 9:18Speaker 2: at a time, Okay, and get and give it a
- 9:20Speaker 2: couple of weeks in between. Okay. Yeah, yeah, I'm gonna
- 9:24Speaker 2: start looking into that. Start saving up, yeah for sure,
- 9:31Speaker 2: and shop around, get you a good quote. Maybe this
- 9:35Speaker 2: is one of those times to go back to India
- 9:36Speaker 2: to get some good deep dental cleaning done because that
- 9:39Speaker 2: medical tourism will come in handy with this type of procedure.
- 9:42Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I think I'm gonna be there to look
- 9:45Speaker 3: at a tour. I think I'm gonna do that either
- 9:47Speaker 3: end of November a very beginning of December.
- 9:49Speaker 2: The comedy. Yeah, so do the tour and then after
- 9:53Speaker 2: the tour, then do your thing. Don't do the thing
- 9:55Speaker 2: first because it'll be hard to talk. Yeah. Yeah, but
- 9:59Speaker 2: I think it'll be a fraction.
- 10:01Speaker 3: I mean they were talking about when I had to
- 10:02Speaker 3: when I was looking at having knee surgery, that it
- 10:04Speaker 3: was going to cost about with everything and rehab in
- 10:08Speaker 3: the hospital for two weeks was right around twenty five
- 10:12Speaker 3: hundred bucks man.
- 10:13Speaker 2: That's great. So since my dentist has nicknamed me the
- 10:19Speaker 2: Saliva King, and you Raj also have periodontal disease, which
- 10:24Speaker 2: means you too will have to have the same procedure
- 10:26Speaker 2: eye done. Maybe you also have superhuman amounts of spit
- 10:31Speaker 2: in your mouth, so you could be my sidekick. I
- 10:35Speaker 2: am Saliva King and you could be Prince Spit. I
- 10:39Speaker 2: was just gonna go with spit falcon on your left.

- 11:21Speaker 2: projects for people. I hate the term one stop shop
- 11:25Speaker 2: because I just hate the term, but you really are
- 11:28Speaker 2: a phone number someone should have if they own a home,
- 11:30Speaker 2: if there's anything they want done with the home, remodeling, construction,
- 11:34Speaker 2: all these things, because you can make some dreams come
- 11:36Speaker 2: true in addition to just fixing some stuff.
- 11:38Speaker 6: Yeah, Dan, we take a lot of pride in what
- 11:40Speaker 6: we do and we have the fortunate way of handling
- 11:44Speaker 6: almost anything around your home. There are some things that
- 11:46Speaker 6: we won't dabble in foundation those are specialized trades. The
- 11:50Speaker 6: guys have to have a lot of special tools. We
- 11:53Speaker 6: do know some foundation companies that we trust, and so
- 11:57Speaker 6: we either refer good people to you if you need
- 12:01Speaker 6: help with certain items, or we're able to do majority
- 12:04Speaker 6: of it ourselves. And so outdoor patios we just where
- 12:07Speaker 6: it came over promotion. We got two under construction right now,

- 12:34Speaker 6: you how realistic they are, give you a ballpark estimate
- 12:37Speaker 6: of what you're looking for, because I think a lot
- 12:38Speaker 6: of people are shocked at when they find out how
- 12:40Speaker 6: much stuff costs sometimes, and so that's that's what we're
- 12:43Speaker 6: here for.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Yeah, sometimes watching house Hunters and getting ideas and seeing
- 12:47Speaker 2: the reality of those things in your home might be
- 12:51Speaker 2: very different. That's why you got to have a professional
- 12:53Speaker 2: come out and walk you through it. That's what Daniel

- 13:40Speaker 2: DFW Today's recording date is October sixth, twenty twenty five.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Exactly one year ago, a legend named Robert Adolph Bam died.
- 13:55Speaker 2: Let us honor him with the first annual reading of
- 14:00Speaker 2: his classic obituary, Maiestro Robert Adolf Bame, in accordance with
- 14:15Speaker 2: his in accordance with his lifelong dedication to his own
- 14:19Speaker 2: personal brand of decorum, muttered his last unintelligible and likely
- 14:24Speaker 2: unnecessary curse on October six, twenty twenty four, shortly before
- 14:29Speaker 2: tripping backward over some stupid motherfucking thing and hitting his
- 14:33Speaker 2: head on the floor. Robert was born in Winters, Texas,
- 14:39Speaker 2: to the late Walter Bame and Betty Smith on May sixth,
- 14:42Speaker 2: nineteen fifty, after which God immediately and thankfully broke the
- 14:46Speaker 2: mold and attempted to cover up the evidence. Raised Catholic
- 14:50Speaker 2: Robert managed to get his wife Diane pregnant three times
- 14:53Speaker 2: and just fast enough to barely miss getting drafted into
- 14:56Speaker 2: the Vietnam War by fathering Michelle, John and Charlotte between
- 15:00Speaker 2: nineteen sixty seven in nineteen seventy two, much later, with
- 15:04Speaker 2: Robert possibly concerned about the brewing conflict in Grenada, Charles
- 15:08Speaker 2: was born in nineteen eighty three. I love that this
- 15:15Speaker 2: lack of military service was probably for the best, as
- 15:18Speaker 2: when taking up shooting as a hobby in his later years,
- 15:21Speaker 2: he managed to blow not one but two holes in
- 15:23Speaker 2: the dash of his own car on two separate occasions,
- 15:27Speaker 2: which unfortunately did not even startle, let alone surprise his
- 15:31Speaker 2: dear wife Diane, who was much accustomed to such happenings
- 15:34Speaker 2: in his presence, and may have actually been safer in
- 15:37Speaker 2: the jungles of Vietnam the entire time while the world
- 15:44Speaker 2: was in conflict elsewhere. Robert may do by learning to
- 15:48Speaker 2: roof maintain traffic signs with the city of Ammilla and
- 15:50Speaker 2: eventually becoming a semi professional truck driver, not to be
- 15:54Speaker 2: confused with a professional semi truck driver with peace on
- 15:59Speaker 2: the horizon, and Robert's attention somewhat counterintuitively drifted to weapons
- 16:04Speaker 2: of war, also known as Raj's favorite part, spanning the
- 16:11Speaker 2: historical and geographical spectrum from the lovel of nineteen thousand
- 16:15Speaker 2: BC France to this buck of eighteen thirties Africa to
- 16:23Speaker 2: the Mozendaghan m one eight nine to one of World
- 16:26Speaker 2: War two eras Soviet Union. So many examples of these
- 16:34Speaker 2: mainstream hobbyist items litter his small Clarendon, Texas apartment that
- 16:39Speaker 2: one of them may very well have been the item
- 16:41Speaker 2: referenced in his aforementioned eloquent final epitaph. A man of
- 16:46Speaker 2: many interests, Robert was not to be entranced by historical
- 16:49Speaker 2: weapons alone, but also had a pinched for fashion, frequently
- 16:54Speaker 2: seen about town wearing the latest trend and homemade leather moccasins,
- 16:57Speaker 2: a wide collection of unconventional hats and boldly mismatched shirts
- 17:01Speaker 2: and pants. Robert also kept a wide selection of harmonica's
- 17:05Speaker 2: on hand, not to play personally, but to prompt his
- 17:09Speaker 2: beloved dogs to howl continuously at odd hours of the night,
- 17:12Speaker 2: to entertain his many neighbors, and occasionally to give to
- 17:15Speaker 2: his many, many many grandchildren and great grandchildren to play
- 17:19Speaker 2: loudly during long trips with their parents. Earlier this year
- 17:25Speaker 2: twenty twenty four, in February, God finally showed mercy upon Diane,
- 17:30Speaker 2: getting her the hell out of there for some well
- 17:32Speaker 2: earned peace and quiet. Without Diane to gleefully entertain, Robert
- 17:36Speaker 2: shifted his creative focus to the entertainment of you, the
- 17:40Speaker 2: fine townspeople of Clarendon, Texas, over the last eight months.
- 17:44Speaker 2: If you have not met Robert or seen his road
- 17:46Speaker 2: show yet, you probably would have soon. We've all done
- 17:49Speaker 2: our best to enjoy slash weather Robert's antics up to
- 17:53Speaker 2: this point, but he has God's problem now. Robert's farewell
- 17:58Speaker 2: tour will be held or was held, Monday, October fourteenth,
- 18:02Speaker 2: twenty twenty four, at ten am at Memorial Park Funeral Home,
- 18:06Speaker 2: sixty nine sixty nine outfitting East Interstate forty Highway, Amarillo, Texas,
- 18:11Speaker 2: seventy nine one one eight. The family encourages you to
- 18:15Speaker 2: dust off whatever outdated or inappropriate combination of clothing you
- 18:19Speaker 2: have available to attend. A tip jar will be available
- 18:22Speaker 2: in the front. Flowers are also acceptable. The legend Robert
- 18:28Speaker 2: Adolph Bam died one year ago today. May his memory
- 18:33Speaker 2: outlast us all, and this obituary live forever. This is
- 18:41Speaker 2: one of those obituaries. This is one of those things
- 18:44Speaker 2: that I think we should put in some type of capsule,
- 18:46Speaker 2: so when aliens come and if we're long gone, whether
- 18:51Speaker 2: at their hands or our own, they find the capsule
- 18:55Speaker 2: that tells the story of the of the human race,
- 18:58Speaker 2: and in there needs to be this obituary.
- 19:02Speaker 3: Also, he was born in nineteen fifty, which is old enough, Like,
- 19:05Speaker 3: which is being born in that year, you're aware that
- 19:08Speaker 3: you shouldn't name anybody Adolph anymore?
- 19:11Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, that and they still did that really set
- 19:15Speaker 2: a tone. Yeah, So now I will say his Adolph
- 19:21Speaker 2: middle name was spelled with a pH and not an F.
- 19:24Speaker 2: So maybe his parents thought it was okay if they
- 19:27Speaker 2: went with the more formal fuuh. But yeah, you're right,
- 19:32Speaker 2: being born in nineteen fifty, the Adolph thing should have
- 19:36Speaker 2: been way out of favor by then. Yeah.
- 19:39Speaker 3: Yeah, they already knew, like this one's gonna be terrible.
- 19:46Speaker 3: Name of Madolf we can already tell.
- 19:49Speaker 2: It is amazing too, because in addition to the to
- 19:51Speaker 2: the humor in this obituary, there's a little bit of
- 19:56Speaker 2: a history lesson in here, and when you talk about
- 20:03Speaker 2: his attention drifting to weapons of war spanning the historical
- 20:08Speaker 2: and geographical spectrum from the at Lottl of nineteen thousand
- 20:11Speaker 2: BC France to the fuck of eighteen thirties Africa.
- 20:18Speaker 4: Do ten thousand BC.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Yes, France, nineteen thousand BC France. All I'm saying is
- 20:30Speaker 2: it makes me wonder did he he had to have
- 20:33Speaker 2: gone into the pawn shops in Texas and specifically ask
- 20:37Speaker 2: for the for the weapons from these eras, Like did
- 20:41Speaker 2: the guys on Pond Stars ever get asked about the
- 20:43Speaker 2: at Lottle What did he ask for them?
- 20:48Speaker 1: Or was there a brilliant pawn shop owner who was like, oh, Robert,
- 20:53Speaker 1: look what I just found.
- 20:57Speaker 2: That looks like a rake? No, no, this is nineteen
- 21:01Speaker 2: thousand BC France, known from the tribe, coming from the
- 21:05Speaker 2: tribe at level just making shit up. That's great. And
- 21:11Speaker 2: then and then he just grabs like a kids slingshot
- 21:13Speaker 2: from like nineteen fifty five and says that that's from
- 21:17Speaker 2: the some fuck up tribe of the eighteen thirties Africa.
- 21:23Speaker 2: You sure that's not just a slingshot? No, no, this
- 21:26Speaker 2: is jungle warfare.
- 21:27Speaker 3: But I like how you make that whatever that instrument is.
- 21:31Speaker 3: When you do it, it doesn't sound African at all.
- 21:33Speaker 3: It just sounds like a Vietnamese restaurant.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Can I can I get the number four? There's some
- 21:46Speaker 2: that would steamed noodles rice straight. There's there's no other
- 21:53Speaker 2: now rice classic.
- 21:56Speaker 3: It's a classic cuisine of the eighteen thirty Africans. It's
- 22:02Speaker 3: now known as General SOA's chicken.
- 22:04Speaker 2: But then, well I believe, uh Robert here believed in
- 22:10Speaker 2: the origin terms. And then you sound like you're choking
- 22:16Speaker 2: when you say the lottle. It's very epiglottal. When I
- 22:21Speaker 2: say a bottle.
- 22:25Speaker 3: Sounds like a weapon. You would like you named it underwater.
- 22:28Speaker 2: That's what it sounds like. Maybe it was an underwater
- 22:32Speaker 2: weapon at first. It shouldn't be that for the saliva King.
- 22:37Speaker 3: You should be able to roll that off your tongue.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Well as the saliva king. My secret weapon is gleeking.
- 22:47Speaker 2: And what was the third what was the third weapon?
- 22:49Speaker 7: Uh?
- 22:50Speaker 2: The third one was the mosenn nagat M one eight
- 22:55Speaker 2: nine to one of World War two era Soviet Union.
- 22:59Speaker 3: Okay, so he uses a Soviet weapon. His middle name
- 23:04Speaker 3: is Adolph. I don't there's something else going on here.
- 23:10Speaker 3: There was something else happened in winter Texas.
- 23:13Speaker 2: But he was also curious about the Lottle of nineteen
- 23:15Speaker 2: thousand BC France. Nineteen thousand BC France. That sounds that
- 23:25Speaker 2: sounds incorrect. But here's the thing, Raj, I'm not going
- 23:31Speaker 2: to look any of this up to verify any of
- 23:33Speaker 2: this information. As far as I'm concerned, this is all

- 23:40Speaker 2: If Robert Adolph Bame thought the at lottl of nineteen

- 26:14Speaker 2: so we're still playing catch up. It is time for
- 26:17Speaker 2: tree House talkback here inside the Treehouse. Hey, guys, what's up?
- 26:24Speaker 2: Is just sneekad.
- 26:25Speaker 8: I was just going to ask Raj, Hey, Raj, did
- 26:29Speaker 8: you know that, uh, there is an Indian radio station.
- 26:34Speaker 2: I caught it today.
- 26:35Speaker 8: It's ninety two point nine, and uh, yeah, I'm not
- 26:40Speaker 8: gonna lie man, I've been I've been jamming on it
- 26:41Speaker 8: for a while. Anyway, I saidn't know if rog knew
- 26:45Speaker 8: it was there, or if it's just a secret that
- 26:47Speaker 8: he's been not telling anyone.
- 26:51Speaker 2: All right, guess you'll have a good day. Ninety two
- 26:56Speaker 2: point nine, Raj, the Indian radio station you are familiar?
- 27:00Speaker 3: Yes, I think it's there's one four point nine which
- 27:04Speaker 3: is financial radios what's called? And I think they have
- 27:08Speaker 3: that station that that band channel and then that channel
- 27:12Speaker 3: as well, and then there's another one that's one of
- 27:17Speaker 3: five seven somewhere in there, which is a different but
- 27:21Speaker 3: there's like two.
- 27:21Speaker 2: Of them now. Yeah, yeah, So the one that JC
- 27:25Speaker 2: was jamming out to, as he said, ninety two point
- 27:27Speaker 2: nine could get real confusing if you're hitting the scan
- 27:31Speaker 2: or the Sikh button on your radio and you're expecting
- 27:37Speaker 2: Bo Roberts and instead you get Bo Sharma.
- 27:42Speaker 3: Yeah, that would be a different seak button, that would
- 27:44Speaker 3: be Sikh. And if your car comes with that button
- 27:51Speaker 3: it was programmed for Indian stuff.
- 27:55Speaker 2: It would be a little alarming if you get in
- 27:56Speaker 2: the car and you were expecting to hear Bo Roberts
- 27:59Speaker 2: and on ninety two five, but instead you landed on
- 28:02Speaker 2: ninety two nine and you're getting Punjabi radio. It's gonna
- 28:05Speaker 2: be a very different sound, and you might have it.
- 28:07Speaker 2: You might be you might be fearful, thinking like, oh no,
- 28:11Speaker 2: iheart's done it again. They've killed off another legend. What
- 28:16Speaker 2: if it's still both Honestly, it could still be Bo
- 28:21Speaker 2: just trying out a new character. Yeah, that's what I say.
- 28:23Speaker 3: Like when he goes to commercial break on ninety two five,
- 28:26Speaker 3: he switches over to ninety two.
- 28:27Speaker 2: Nine to introduce the next song.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Now that's a show I would tune into just to
- 28:35Speaker 3: hear him name those songs out.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Both stations play in Nirvana brilliant yep. I have listened
- 28:56Speaker 2: a little bit to the to that station years ago.
- 28:58Speaker 2: When you first told me about that, I was like,
- 29:00Speaker 2: you're kidding, because I listened to very eye opening. Yeah.
- 29:04Speaker 3: First, uh one of four nine was the first ever
- 29:07Speaker 3: North American radio station. Yeah, I believe North America, maybe
- 29:13Speaker 3: just in the United States, and think Canada might have
- 29:15Speaker 3: already had one.
- 29:16Speaker 2: So Indians in Canada of Indian music music, got okay, gotcha? Yeah?
- 29:23Speaker 2: All right.
- 29:23Speaker 3: Well now they have like like they have the HD channels,
- 29:25Speaker 3: so you can like if you have an HD thing
- 29:28Speaker 3: in your car, you can skip and there's like multiple
- 29:30Speaker 3: channels that you can listen to cool stuff too as well.
- 29:32Speaker 2: There you go, going deeper underneath the normal bandwidth, which,
- 29:39Speaker 2: by the way, if you're curious and you really really
- 29:41Speaker 2: really missed the edge, it's still there. It's just buried
- 29:45Speaker 2: on one of those HD two channels. I think it's on.
- 29:47Speaker 2: It might be on ninety seven ones HD two channel.
- 29:53Speaker 3: Is it still the same format? Yes, Oh, very cool.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Yeah, just saying it, that's what you're looking for. Let's
- 29:59Speaker 2: get back into talkback here.
- 30:03Speaker 7: Hey, guys, just wondered Joel slash Cookie here. When I
- 30:12Speaker 7: was growing up, I was in Rule America and I
- 30:19Speaker 7: got a sling shot for Christmas. So I'm wondering where
- 30:24Speaker 7: I'm gonna get.
- 30:31Speaker 2: And it cut off? I had it? Or did he
- 30:35Speaker 2: just not off? Because Cookie sound cooked? I feel like
- 30:42Speaker 2: he was building to something there, and I think our
- 30:44Speaker 2: recording on the website has a two minute maximum.
- 30:48Speaker 1: I feel like when he says he got a sling shot,
- 30:52Speaker 1: he was the target of a sling shot and he
- 30:57Speaker 1: didn't have you know, Danny's helmet.
- 31:00Speaker 2: Got it happens. Yeah, when I heard this, I wondered,
- 31:04Speaker 2: like what what was he trying to go get? Also,
- 31:08Speaker 2: is this possibly the premise for a sequel to a
- 31:13Speaker 2: Christmas story, like you know Ralphie had the Red Rider
- 31:17Speaker 2: BB gun and and cousin Cookie Because cousin Cookie got
- 31:22Speaker 2: his sling shot and then goes on adventures. I guess
- 31:25Speaker 2: I don't know, but it did. It did leave me wondering,
- 31:28Speaker 2: and I want Cookie. I need Joel flash Cookie. I
- 31:31Speaker 2: need you to call back in and finish that message
- 31:35Speaker 2: because I want to know what it is that you
- 31:36Speaker 2: were after with your sling shot.
- 31:38Speaker 3: And you don't want to name anything cousin cookie just.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Like I think it's all on how you say it.
- 31:46Speaker 2: Oh gotcha? Okay, Like like if you want to call
- 31:50Speaker 2: cousin cookie cool, but if you want to make a
- 31:53Speaker 2: cousin cookie sandwich, see the difference or here the difference? Yeah,
- 32:00Speaker 2: for sure. And you said that whoever gives you the nickname?
- 32:05Speaker 2: So I want to know who gave him the nickname cookie.
- 32:10Speaker 2: I think it's because he's a cook and maybe he
- 32:14Speaker 2: was a cook on the trails back in the day,
- 32:17Speaker 2: and that's how you got the nickname cookie.
- 32:19Speaker 3: Okay, I mean that was my first guess. Was that was,
- 32:25Speaker 3: you know, for the cook hey Cookie?
- 32:27Speaker 2: But or it's also possible he just really likes cookies.
- 32:31Speaker 2: You get named after what you love. He loves those cookies. Yep.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Well it was either that or pussy dragon. That's spit falcons.
